Ella Umansky: Fabulous course and a great instructor - very small numbers means you get lots of one-on-one time with the instructor and there is a lot of flexibility around what you learn if you have any specific requests. There's an emphasis on getting it right, rather than just getting a piece out of it, which sets you up well if you're looking to take it further.

Fat Panda Productions: A great introduction to wax carving.I have never done anything like this. From a lump of blue wax I ended up with a funky chunky silver ring thanks to the teaching skills of Stelios. The process is explained step by step with Stelios stepping in to help if you need it.Overall a fantastic and worthwhile experience.

Wedding Ring Workshop Hatton Garden: what do users think?

danny mac: Incredible service provided by Simon, Elliot & Sonya. We had 1x diamond engagement ring inherited from my great great grandmother and 2x gold bands which needed re-sizing. Simon & Elliot took great care of us with an initial consultation and transparent pricing options. You could really tell they were genuinely interested in the provenance of the items and the best way to maintain that for future generations. They allowed us to watch them at work and witness their skilled craftsmanship which was a really nice touch. Thank you guys!

manish patel: Great service and range

L M: Lovely man who cleaned my engagement ring for me in a few minutes to an excellent standard

Xueqi Zoe: My fiance and I had a fantastic experience making our wedding bands here. The team was so friendly, and helpful. You could tell they genuinely just want to let you have an unforgettable experience making the rings together. It's the little things that they do that alleviate the experience such as the unwavering attention making sure you're happy with your ring, the conversation, the lunch, and the bubbly at the end of the session🥂! Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to make their own rings!

Ira Lenchuk: Had a great experience with Vincent at the Wedding Ring Workshop whilst ordering our wedding ring - super competent, helpful and friendly service. Very happy with our rings and were even offered to clean my engagement ring for the wedding. Would definitely highly recommend.

alex Parry: We got our bespoke engagement and wedding rings made here. Vincent is a true professional and a master of his craft. Thoroughly recommend.

Art Anderson: Vincent did an incredible job creating the rings for my fiancé and I. He was extremely responsive and communicative throughout and I would have no hesitation recommending his work to anyone looking for a custom ring. Top marks.

Ben Moseley: We made our rings at the Wedding Ring Workshop just over 20 years ago and had an awesome time doing so.I had been needing to get it resized and finally decided to pop in on our 20th anniversary. The guys there were fantastic, stayed late to do it for me, spent time polishing it and then point-blank refused to charge me for it.Hugely recommended.

Seye Olateju: to resize my wedding ring as it was just a little too small to get over my knuckle. I had no particular jeweller in mind but the first place that happened to be open nice and early on a Saturday was the Wedding Ring Workshop

J: I spent many days researching a company to design and make an eternity ring, so many of the others have hidden add on prices but this company was 100% from the beginning. Vincent sent regular photos of the rings progress which added to the experience. At every stage I could check and see what was happening, all the certifications , bills and forms were clear and concise . On collection everything was waiting , all paperwork, reciepts , nicely presented . Sonya was a gem , she replied quickly, sent regular updates and made my buying experience smooth and trouble free . This company is a rarity these days , i highly recommend.

Sam Wilkinson: Best jeweller in Hatton Cross. 10/10 would recommend. Super friendly, great value, amazing pieces.

Roberta Neave: .

Nathan Bellamore: Great deal on fixing my ring

Thomas Barrett: This place is a hidden gem of an establishment. When you go to Hatton garden avoid going straight into the traditional shops and find these guys. Vinny was great when we walked in at offering advice, he even fixed a problem with my fiancés engagement ring free of charge. I showed him some pictures of the rings that I liked from the internet and they were able to make it exactly how I wanted. I can’t think of a better way to buy wedding rings. Fantastic communication from Sonya and Elliott, and as we are last minute for everything, they turned around our ring in a very short space of time. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of buying rings.

Edmund and Rebecca Wrigley: We spent a day making each other’s wedding rings before our wedding this summer, and it was such an interesting experience, literally starting from a sheet of gold and turning it into beautiful rings that were the exact size, style, width, curvature etc. that we wanted. It is a lovely idea and a great way to make such symbolic items even more significant to one another. We even went back to the workshop and got them to make a custom necklace to go with my wedding dress, which turned out beautifully.

Dan Giles: Brilliant experience.Elliott and the team were so friendly and we were the only couple in the workshop that day. We unknowingly chose quite time consuming designs but the team were happy to keep going until we finished which was definitely above and beyond, and probably much later than they would hope to finish in a Saturday! They also treated us to a lovely Italian takeaway and some prosecco and beer. Couldn’t have been a better day with nicer people. We picked up the finished rings a few weeks later which are stunning. Thanks so much.

Ari: . As someone who is not in the slightest creative I didn’t think I’d enjoy it as much as I did but I can’t wait for us to go back and do every class

K2 Academy of Contemporary Jewellery: what do users think?

Y Mackenzie: I cannot recommend K2 Jewellery Academy highly enough. I joined as a relative novice attending their structured diploma course classes to learn/improve key techniques. More importantly, I wanted a school that would challenge me to think more creatively about designs. I then moved on to their Friday workshops where students can work on their own ideas with support from Kelvin and Katrin. Their knowledge and experience is incredible. They help and challenge students to try new techniques and creative ideas. The class is small with around 8 students so we benefit from a lot of one to one support. They will also introduce a mini masterclass if there is a subject we all want to work on. They couldn’t be more supportive creating a friendly, welcoming and safe space for their students.

Susan Noble: A fabulous place to learn and be inspired in your jewellery making and ideas. Kelvin and Katrin provide a warm welcome, a very well equipped studio and a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise both technically and in respect to creative design. I've always felt secure in my progress and in the scope to explore which is really exciting. They have the ability to quickly understand where you're coming from and generously teach and guide you in the whole process of realising your intentions. The small size classes provide a focused, almost bespoke experience and it's great to get to knowother like-minded people in the workshops. I dare say you won't find this kind of dynamic anywhere else in the city! Highly recommend!

Celia Hayley: K2 is a fantastic place to learn: Kelvin and Katrin are brilliant teachers both from a technical and an artistic point of view - always able to show you the best way to achieve your aims, and also challenging you to try new techniques or push your ideas to more interesting places. Whatever your level of experience, there always seems to be more to learn, and Kelvin and Katrin are both so proficient and imaginative themselves that you will definitely be inspired beyond what you thought was possible. Technically rigorous but artistically amazingly free would be one way to describe the ethos.I did the Friday workshops, which allow you to work on pieces at your own pace. It's a great way to get inspired by all the possibilities of jewellery and come up with your own ideas. Definitely coming back to do more as soon as I can, and would highly recommend.

Louise Owen: K2 is an amazing place to learn all sorts of jewellery techniques and they cater for all levels of student. The tutors are amazing, knowledgeable and very open to questions. The facilities are great and the class sizes are perfect! I couldn't recommend them enough.

b a: I have been attending day workshops at K2 for more than a year now and I continue to deepen my knowledge, technique and skills. I enjoy working on my own projects with the amazing support from both tutors at K2, Katrin and Kelvin. Both are highly skilled jewellers with a great artistic eye, and both are excellent teachers who can motivate their students to improve and progress. They are very responsive to requests from students and will teach any technique we want to learn. And the number of things you could possibly learn in jewellery is endless!

Florian Köbler: The Jewellery School in London to go to! The knowledge and experience of both teachers is outstanding! Katrin and Kelvin are not just highly skilled jewelry makers, they are very kind and approachable persons. The students are provided with basic goldsmith techniques to ensure they can realize their unique ideas during the term. The main focus of K2 is to establish a creative mindset to approach the field of jewellery from all angles possible. There should be no rules in art and the pieces created in this studio are nothing short but art themselfs. All materials are allowed and new techniques are invented each other session. Besides, to keep it in the jewellery lingo - look out for the rest of K2's team.... they are some hidden gems.

Michaela Barochová: K2 Academy of Contemporary Jewellery is one of the best jewellery schools I’ve ever studied at! It was a perfect follow up to my BA Metal & Jewellery Design course in Czech Republic. At K2 I learned a lot of new jewellery techniques including fold forming, sheet deformation, surface decoration, chain making, engraving, to name a few. Katrin Spranger and Kelvin Birk were always thoroughly discussing my ideas with me to help me figure out best way to materialise my concepts and chose the most suitable techniques for it. I admire them both as dedicated teachers and as artists with mindblowing technical skills and conceptual approaches to their practice. I appreciate their efforts to make students think outside of the box and approach jewellery from the conceptual point of view.

Samia Shabir: The electroforming course by Katrin was very amazing. I learned so much about such a niche subject in a few days. Thanks again Katrin I will definitely look at doing other courses at K2.

Lynne Speake: What an amazing experience - the experimental stone setting course has totally inspired me. Kelvin and Katrin’s teaching was wonderful and I just wish I lived closer as I’d love to do all of their courses - thanks so much - I’d recommend you to anyone who wants to go forwards with their practice.

G H: Recently attended the Experimental Stone Setting course. I really enjoyed it and explored so many creative new techniques and ideas. Kelvin and Katrin are great, the workshop is nice and small and there was only 6 of us so it was a cosy environment, and I'm so glad I attended.

Lisi Hilario: Had a great EXPERIMENTAL SETTINGS workshop with Katrin and Kelvin...thank you both!

Harriet Morris: I came to the Friday workshops with some specific problems I needed to solve and came away with new skills to sort these out as well as a head now bulging with extra techniques and ideas. This is thanks to Kelvin and Katrin's teaching which is both technically thorough and conceptually provocative. I loved my time at the school and will definitely be going back.

Maureen klingels-pruss: Proficient, professional, supportive, inspiring and intense; so much learning packed in a very enjoyable atmosphere. Brilliant experience of new techniques and materials! Highly recommended!

karolina b: Highly recommended!

Mary M: Yep, I have enrolled this term. I am finding it an incredible, calm space to express and create art through metal.

Made by Ore: what do users think?

Holly Cameron: Wow. I can’t actually believe that I made jewellery in a day! That’s thanks to the brilliant, relaxed and informative guidance from the tutor, Lucie. Definitely recommend to anyone who’s curious about making their own jewellery or those just looking for a new experience or skill. Absolutely loved it and I’m now the proud wearer of earrings and a ring I crafted thanks to Made by Ore. Get booking!

CA RA: Such a generous two day workshop of expert artisan knowledge.. awesomely relaxed and very welcoming environment. Wish I lived closer to get more out of what this studio has to offer ❤️ Thankyou Lucie 🙏🏽

Ann Richards: I had a gift voucher for recycling my old jewellery. I’m a complete beginner so was worried that I might struggle but I had a really fun day and made a lovely pendant that I am thrilled with. Lucie was there to help and advise when I needed it but left me to work on my own when I didn’t. I’m looking forward to a repeat visit to make another piece of jewellery. Highly recommended.

Darius Lane: Excellent experience.Wonderful workshop and teacher. Teacher was very patient and knowledgeable. Would recommend to couples wanting rings 100% or to those into custom jewellery.

Sophie Bloor: which was really enjoyable. It was my first time metal jewellery making and I made a ring and a bangle. Sophie led the class of 6 which was an ideal size, she was able to guide us all individually. She was professional yet relaxed. The studio is chilly so wrap up! Highly recommended for crafty people and perfect for beginners.

Christine Bobin: Great one day silversmithing! Learnt so much. Great results from a first attempt . Really supportive and encouraging tutor. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back to do more. Certainly has inspired me to learn more!

Victoria Hogg: Wow! We made our wedding rings here and it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

Friederike W.: Loved the introduction to the silver jewellery making class. Techniques and steps are easy to follow and explanations broken down in short lessons, so not overwhelming - even to a beginner. The class included making a silver ring and in the afternoon everyone was able to realize their ideas for other small pieces with lots of hands-on help and tips. The classes are an amazing gift for a fun day for jewellery lovers.Extra tip: you could bring your old silver rings along if they need straightening out or your favourite pieces to make something similar.
