Lola Fleming: I did the beginners and improvers silver jewellery course here and both experience were 10/10. The tutors really take the time to support you and you are taken through a wide range of techniques.
althea Lawrence: I attended a 5 week Silver-smiths Course at this school and I must say, it was well worth the money. The instructor Linda Robertson, was a wealth of tips and invaluable information. I highly recommend the course.
Christina Kiker: It was a really nice experience in the vs jewellery school in London. I can highly recommend the courses there. Especially the wax carving course is so inspiring and you can learn a lot about the techniques and all the production processes. Also the teacher of the school who has his own jewellery brand was so friendly and helpful during the course. Also patient and so motivated. Thanks a lot for the gorgeous experience in London.

We were a small group and all Precautions were in place to keep us safe . PPE. Our tutor Stelios Karantonas was very knowledgeable and patient. At the end of the day I came away with a wonderful pair of earrings and ring made by myself ! Great day I learnt a lot and would highly recommend.

Fat Panda Productions: A great introduction to wax carving. I have never done anything like this. From a lump of blue wax I ended up with a funky chunky silver ring thanks to the teaching skills of Stelios. The process is explained step by step with Stelios stepping in to help if you need it. Overall a fantastic and worthwhile experience.

She was very accomdating when trying to find a date that would work for us, easy to communicate with and sent lots of information on the different types of parties she offered. I had been needing to get it resized and finally decided to pop in on our 20th anniversary. The guys there were fantastic, stayed late to do it for me, spent time polishing it and then point-blank refused to charge me for it. Hugely recommended.
Art Anderson: Vincent did an incredible job creating the rings for my fiancé and I. He was extremely responsive and communicative throughout and I would have no hesitation recommending his work to anyone looking for a custom ring. Top marks.

Jazz Garcha: Fantastic experience from start to finish. Came across this establishment by recommendation. It was first place I visited in Hatton Garden, spoke with Adam who was very straight forward, honest and direct, no hard sell, just a willingness to understand what I wanted. Spent (wasted) the rest of the day walking up and down the rest of Hatton Garden then returned to place my order with Adam for a custom engagement ring and book a wedding ring workshop. The outcome was amazing and we both enjoyed the extra special involvement in making our wedding bands together - highly recommend this great team!

Richard Knight: What a brilliant experience! A whole day of making your own wedding rings. Heating, cutting, bashing, sanding and polishing along with food and drink. The team were fantastic and we all had a fantastic day! I can’t recommend it enough, especially with the bubbles to celebrate your day.
Hao Dam: This was recommended by a friend who also bought an engagement diamond ring. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Offering good advice and competitive prices compared to other shops along Hatton Gardens. The craftsmanship is good though we need to go back and make some finer adjustments. Ari: I took my girlfriend to the design your own ring class for her birthday and it felt more of a gift for myself than her! 😭 We thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish, the ladies were so kind and helpful (impeccably patient too might I add). As someone who is not in the slightest creative I didn’t think I’d enjoy it as much as I did but I can’t wait for us to go back and do every class (including the make your own engagement ring if she’s lucky). WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

b a: I have been attending day workshops at K2 for more than a year now and I continue to deepen my knowledge, technique and skills. I enjoy working on my own projects with the amazing support from both tutors at K2, Katrin and Kelvin. Both are highly skilled jewellers with a great artistic eye, and both are excellent teachers who can motivate their students to improve and progress. They are very responsive to requests from students and will teach any technique we want to learn. And the number of things you could possibly learn in jewellery is endless!
Michaela Barochová: K2 Academy of Contemporary Jewellery is one of the best jewellery schools I’ve ever studied at! It was a perfect follow up to my BA Metal & Jewellery Design course in Czech Republic. At K2 I learned a lot of new jewellery techniques including fold forming, sheet deformation, surface decoration, chain making, engraving, to name a few. Katrin Spranger and Kelvin Birk were always thoroughly discussing my ideas with me to help me figure out best way to materialise my concepts and chose the most suitable techniques for it. I admire them both as dedicated teachers and as artists with mindblowing technical skills and conceptual approaches to their practice. I appreciate their efforts to make students think outside of the box and approach jewellery from the conceptual point of view.
Lynne Speake: What an amazing experience - the experimental stone setting course has totally inspired me. Kelvin and Katrin’s teaching was wonderful and I just wish I lived closer as I’d love to do all of their courses - thanks so much - I’d recommend you to anyone who wants to go forwards with their practice.
Samia Shabir: The electroforming course by Katrin was very amazing. I learned so much about such a niche subject in a few days. Thanks again Katrin I will definitely look at doing other courses at K2.

Techniques and steps are easy to follow and explanations broken down in short lessons, so not overwhelming - even to a beginner. The class included making a silver ring and in the afternoon everyone was able to realize their ideas for other small pieces with lots of hands-on help and tips. The classes are an amazing gift for a fun day for jewellery lovers. Extra tip: you could bring your old silver rings along if they need straightening out or your favourite pieces to make something similar.
Ann Richards: I had a gift voucher for recycling my old jewellery. I’m a complete beginner so was worried that I might struggle but I had a really fun day and made a lovely pendant that I am thrilled with. Lucie was there to help and advise when I needed it but left me to work on my own when I didn’t. I’m looking forward to a repeat visit to make another piece of jewellery. Highly recommended.
Sophie Bloor: I did the Silver Jewellary workshop (gifted to me for Christmas) which was really enjoyable. It was my first time metal jewellery making and I made a ring and a bangle. Sophie led the class of 6 which was an ideal size, she was able to guide us all individually. She was professional yet relaxed. The studio is chilly so wrap up! Highly recommended for crafty people and perfect for beginners.

I loved working through the creative process with Simon - he gave me space to express myself while also guiding me based on his huge wealth of expertise. My partner and I have the most beautiful rings I’ve ever seen, and I just can’t thank Simon enough for turning my terrible sketching and rambling into such a reality.

However in the years since I have especially appreciated their high standard of aftercare in polishing and cleaning both platinum rings. Both Ryan and Simon are very friendly and professional.
