Hoopla Impro: what do users think?

Tanival: , particularly the support and camaraderie; scene / character work. We created a whatsapp group from the first day and this brought us gradually closer, it was a really special group. A lot of us have signed up for the next stage in September. I'm excited to see what the new course will bring and also to experience a different teacher. I have already recommended Hoopla and I think it is great! Although the speed of email replies could definitely improve, the customer service and overall ethos is amazing and exemplary.

Adam: I have worked my way through a lot of the courses with Hoopla, and found each one an engaging and supportive experience that welcomes all in. The teachers are knowledgeable and generous, helping guide you through the course to give you the confidence as a group to deliver a show. I have met wonderful people through the courses and shows, and I enjoy the regular performing opportunities Hoopla has to offer. Highly recommended!

Henry McPherson: Mandeep was an amazing teacher. Such a lovely group of people. I particularly liked Mandeeps specific feedback points, showed his great ability to coach and be aware of our individual strengths and weaknesses. Can't wait for Level 3!

Andrew Hall: I've lived in London for 6 years and not until this course have I found a much-craved sense of community. I loved the positive, supportive energy that Nick fostered in the sessions, and I'm very much looking forward to Level 2!

Lucy Cunningham: I thought James was great - really liked that he gave us the space to explore different themes. He was very supportive and gave useful detailed feedback

Ralph Jones: Hoopla is an absolutely vital, joyous part of the London comedy scene. On and off I have been performing shows there since 2015. The staff are generous, helpful and welcoming, and performing there now feels like coming home. It is unquestionably the number one home of London improv. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Daniel Chica Prevatt-goldstein: I love everything about Hoopla. Their shows have a great atmosphere and top quality acts. Their community is friendly and welcoming. Their classes are fun, friendly, their teachers are great and they offer such a wide range of different courses. The home of improv in London!

G C: Hoopla classes are so much fun with great teachers in a supportive environmentwhere the emphasis is on fun and positivity. The shows that they run are a great opportunityto further build your skills and confidence and see some damn funny people too! Look, just sign up to a course and have a great time!

Lexi: Hoopla is home to many popular improv groups and comedians on the circuit. As there is so much variety, you’re bound to find something you’ll enjoy watching. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a pint and catch a show.As for its courses - during most of the pandemic, I was shielding. As a result, I began to feel quite isolated - I was living on my own at the time and didn’t have much human contact. Through Hoopla, I was able to reconnect and make a ton of new friends/connections. I signed up for one course, then another and so on - it became addictive! Before Hoopla, I already had some improv experience from my time at Uni, but it had been a while since I graduated. With the help of their teachers, I was able to jump back into it without issue as the environment was so friendly and supportive. Whether you’re jumping back in, or are new to the craft, Hoopla is a solid starting point. There are a ton of performing opportunities too. You can audition to be on a house team where you’ll get a ton of coaching, or grab some stage experience at a pre-party where new groups can sign up to perform. Most of the courses also come with shows!

Lisa Greenwood: The most loving space in UK improv. Inclusive, diverse, joyful comedy in all forms - stand up, improv, musical improv. Being in that audience feels like you're all at one hilarious party - CHECK IT OUT!

Anisha Pucadyil: Hoopla has something for everyone, it has a host of classes, open jams and a thriving community with many ongoing classes. Any day of the week , you will find rib tickling humour and amazing technique of improv on display. Check out that encyclopaedia of improv gyaan, very happy to be part of the hoopla community

Addy Raja: Hoopla is an amazing community and so much more than just being funny on stage. One of the best things about being in London!

Michaela Mackenzie: I LOVE HOOPLA!! Have done a fair few classes with them now and all have been great!! The teachers are wonderful, it's a lovely lil community and there are tonnes of opportunities to go further with improv through Hoopla if you want to from improv jams to house teams! I came in knowing nothing about improv and absolutely terrified and was welcomed with open arms, 'yes and's and a bunch of fun! The shows are great too! I go to them as frequently as I possibly can!! Always SO FUN! And absolutely hilarious! A great night out! HIGHLY recommend!!

Maria P: Best place for improv in London

Jonny Briers: Best place in London to see and perform improv comedy, full stop. Friday and Saturday nights are fun for people who have never seen improv and improv nerds alike, but there's good stuff on almost every night of the week. Their classes are also fantastic and a great way to step out of your comfort zone in a very welcoming environment.

Charlie Jackson: Hoopla is one of the most fun and supportive places to watch and do improv comedy. There's so many shows and courses you're spoilt for choice.

Lisa Ronaghan: Always have a great night out at Hoopla! If you’re looking to try improv, sketch or standup, they have amazing courses and also run corporate training. Big fan!

Jennifer Longden: I've been training with Hoopla since 2017 and to be honest, it's been life changing. Right from the start I've been made to feel accepted into a big community of funny and supportive people, who genuinely just want the best for everyone. Importantly, Hoopla are brilliant at nurturing people and making them feel part of one big team. It's truly inclusive and I take a lot of lessons from the field of impro and the many teachers at Hoopla, into my professional career.

Paul Creasy: Amazing improv school. Great, varied classes and a lot of performing opportunities for newer and more experienced improvisers. It already felt like home soon after moving to London.

Philippa Palmer: Hoopla is my tribe. The classes are excellent. The shows are brilliant. The opportunities, whether for performing or friendship making, are endless. Do a course with Hoopla and your social life will be transformed. I dare you to take a punt. You’ll be so pleased you did!

Rahma Al-Awad: I’ve really enjoyed my 8 weeks beginners improv course. I was so nervous before my first class, but I’m so glad I had signed up. Chris is an excellent teacher. I’ve had so much fun and laughter - it was the highlight of my summer!

Viktor Gsteiger: What a blast! My first time at a London impro show and all three groups were great with each surpassing the previous. Definitely worth a visit!

Melisa Tehrani: Hands down, the best improv classes in London. Amazing teachers and a fun, friendly atmosphere that put me at ease straight away. My confidence and passion grew with every class as I met fellow improvisers and fearlessly practiced new skills and games week after week. The final showcase was absolutely exhilarating and I couldn’t wait to come back for the next level. Above all, I really love and appreciate Hoopla's efforts to support POC and improvisers from lower income households. As a proud member of both these groups, I felt love, eagerness and a space waiting for me on the Hoopla stage in a way I have never felt before. It is a truly unique feeling of warmth and acceptance that has been the beating heart of my improv journey. I wish I could tell my younger self that one day she would be a part of the representation she so desperately dreamed of seeing on a comedy stage. She probably wouldn't believe me, but no doubt she would be as wonderfully overwhelmed as I was the first time I stepped into Hoopla. An incredible and beautiful experience all round, I can't recommend it enough!

Massimo Comuzzi: Amazing funa nd increadible personal growth

Mark P: Great burgers, beer and IMPROV !!!! 😊

Joe Martin: It was extremely welcoming and collegiate from the very beginning. I had immediate confidence in Conor Jatter's expertise in both improv and teaching from the first session. I felt I made significant progress over the course of the 8 weeks. The only issue I now have is that I go around frequently telling acquaintances that they need to try improv!

Reuben Wachs: Absolutely love training with Hoopla! The classes are super fun and the teachers I've had have all been professional, welcoming and insightful. The final shows really make the experience worth it and leaves you feeling incredibly proud of what you achieved on the course. Highly recommend!

Nick Farnan: A great training experience. The trainers made the course impactful and effective. I've left with great skills and would look to do more training with Hoopla as I loved it.

Mélanie Merlet: improv with Hoopa for almost 3 years, and the community spirit, their approach to teaching improv, the passion and enthusiasm that comes from the entire teaching team and staff have really brought something incredible to my life, and I encourage EVERYONE

Alvaro Garcia: Did the Speaker Club course with Max Dickins. It was really good. It gave me lots of tools to improve my communication skills, which we kept practicing through the duration of the course while receiving live feedback. Its helped me to step up my game when speaking in public. Highly recommend to anyone looking to communicate in a more impactful way

The Free Association: what do users think?

Geoff Marshall: Love the FA! Did a four day intensive course on Advanced Game, friendly, fun, and experience teachers - exactly what i wanted to sharpen mu skills, thanks!

Daniel Subin: The Free Association is quite simply the heartbeat of London's improv scene and home of the most brilliant creative comedic minds and teams. It's a magnet for top talent that attracts an enthusiastic community of dynamic personalities. The FA delivers an impactful improv comedy philosophy and imagination that inspires both performers and audiences. Sign up to classes and attend the shows. Prepare for belly aching laughs and positivity - if that's your thing.

Naomi Petersen: Quite simply my favourite place to perform and hang out in London. Being part of the FA has been life-changing in the best possible way!

Chris Gau: I love the performer Ian who plays here. He’s really sexy and funny. I also think Alex Holland is dishy and funny. He’s also a performer who plays here. Would recommend.I also think Ryan is very hot, but I’m not sure if he performs there but I took a class with him, and he was very dreamy and funny.

Sam Hampson: The Free Association is an incredible hub of vibrancy, talent, imagination and hard work. A place for a great night out with friends or to explore your own creativity. After first visiting several years ago I have been involved as a student and audience member on and off ever since - never managing to stay away for long. I'm in awe of the people and place and the impact they have.

Hester Thompson: Had a quality night and got to see some crackin improv. Hoof were particularly funny. Would recommend.

Bruce Tang: Improv is my happy place

Rhys Collier: I can’t recommend The Free Association enough. It’s a hotbed of improv talent, the performers are the cream of the improv crop who produce hilarious shows out of thin air.As a school, the classes have been thoughtfully put together to offer a fun yet challenging progression. Regardless of whether you want to get into improv for honing your comedy skills, feeling more confident speaking in public or to make new friends in a supportive and playful environment, I highly recommend the FA.

Jeff Vitkun: An amazing place to learn and watch improv. The shows take place upstairs in a nice little pub—it's great night out. Perfect date night as it's cheaper than the movies and over in an hour so you can get home at a decent hour.I've also taken some classes there and really enjoyed them. The teachers are very knowledgable and give you great notes.

Lorna Shaw: Check out the FA to see longform improv at it's absolute finest. You can also be a part of this amazing community by signing up to the classes which are SO MUCH FUN and super supportive if you're new to performing. Go go go

Caroline Amer: The best improv in London! if you want to see some the best variety of themed shows at an incredible level, this is where it's at! The training is fantastic - consistent and thorough, and the people are a right laugh and super friendly. Go see a show and give it a go!

David Elms: There is nowhere else to see consistently great improv in London

Luke Brown: best improv joint in town

James Barr: One of the funniest date nights in London! I love The Fa. I was crying with laughter, my fake tan started to run

Alex Lubetkin: The FA have done a great job over the years at cultivating a nurturing and inclusive environment for anyone with any interest in improv or sketch comedy. Also a great place to make new friends. I moved to London in 2019 as a 29-year-old, have since taken 7-8 different courses, and have met a ton of awesome people in the process. They also offer smaller taster courses for anyone who wants to dip their toes in from a safer distance!

Sam Roulston: Huge laughs, excellent vibes.

Anand Sankar: Incredible Improv theatre. The best in London!

Nathan Dean: I've watched hundreds of comedy shows in the last decade, and many of the best have been here. The classes are brilliant too - challenging in just the right way, mind expanding, and, of course, very fun. All the teachers are friendly and supportive, as well as being fantastic performers, and there's an incredible sense of community around the theatre. Highly recommend.

Sarah Lewis: The FA is responsible for some of the best improv comedy I've ever seen. I first got involved with classes in 2019 and haven't looked back. Not only is it a great night out for quality live comedy, but being a part of the community here is one of my happiest places. If you're remotely interested in improv or sketch, this is the place to go!

M (My): It’s so good

James Heather: I've just finished my 3rd course and it was fantastic....

Alex Cheung: . I cannot recommend it more. I had an array of fantastic teachers who are all totally different in their styles, but all equally as insightful and helpful. Unlike some other classes, the thing which makes the FA unique is the sheer positivity and support provided. I’ve laughed more in those classes than any, and felt very safe amongst the teachers, programme and cohort. I want to particularly shout out Nadege Nguyen who has continued to mentor and support me, long after completing the course, and single handedly motivated me to continue a career in acting. Do a taster class, or jump into level 1, I can’t imagine a single reason why anyone would regret it!

Hjalmar Hardestam: Took their intensives 2-4 as well as watched a lot of their shows during my time here in the UK.Can only say good of it. Great teachers, community and shows.Highly recommend from Sweden.

Alexandre Caillol: Such fun course and dedicated teachers.Go get yourself a treat and learn Improv with the FA!

Shaun Wood: phenomenally supportive teaching! well worth it for all skill and experience levels.

Dan White: I've had a really fantastic time on my courses so far. A lot of laughs, a lot of learning. Very supportive environment. Liz Guterbock and Jonathan Broke have been fantastic teachers and my classmates have been very friendly and open minded with all the exercises. Classes are always a highlight of my week!

The Comedy School: what do users think?

patrick brassil: The men and ladies were the closest to amazing work very well together with each other. The ladies who were doing this school with me were a very nice gathering of friends from the beginning of the class we learned lots together with each other and the class act of my prayers for my gracious 🙏 would recommend this strategy for the best way to learning more about performance.

Tim Thorne: Such a fun course ! Getting on stage can be scary, but definitely a great challenge for anyone looking to build confidence, try something new, or get more embedded in the world of comedy.

Ludovica Guerrieri: The 6-week comedy course has left me feeling creative, confident and able to communicate more effectively in front of an audience - you don’t have to necessarily want to become a stand up comedian to benefit from the course which exercises self belief and lateral thinking. Would recommend to anyone who wants to find their inner creative

Becky Unsworth: I had an amazing time at the comedy school earlier this year and have just done my 10th stand up performance. I highly recommend trying their courses as there was a lot of good technical knowledge shared and it was also fantastic for my confidence. So long as you put in the work and support other course mates you will have a wonderful time!

Jasdeep Sohl: A really fantastic experience! The staff were very supportive and provided honest frank feedback which was invaluable. The class was really diverse with people from lots of different cultural and social backgrounds which provided a really good setting for everyone to learn from each other.I was a bit anxious before starting the course but it has honestly been one of the best things I have invested my time in.

Kristina Ogneva: . If you put in the work, stay open & humble and listen to the room

Nicola C Freeman: These guys are bloody amazing. I could not recommend this place enough. Amazing 6 week programme that gives you the tools, skill and confidence to do a showcase in front of a 100 people. Very professional teachers. They also do a lot to take comedy to prisons, inner city youths and people with mental health issues.

Iffy: Joining The Comedy School was one of the best things I ever did! I always wanted to give stand-up a go and the school enabled me to find my authentic voice. They instilled the confidence I needed to refine my character on stage, and gave me all the techniques required to transform my anecdotes into a series of funny jokes. Their honesty, guidance and support have been invaluable and I'm very grateful. If you’re curious about a career in comedy or you just want to challenge yourself and do something exciting; go to The Comedy School – they are not only pioneers in this field, they are clearly the best!

Jack Bell: Thoroughly enjoyed myself on the course.Thought the tutoring was fantastic- it was remarkable the improvement everyone made over the six weeks.

Amanda Street: I signed up for the 6 week stand up course because I wanted to be more confident and engaging when speaking in public. I have to say it was the BEST communications/presentation training I have ever attended, and I have done a few in my career! Expertly and professionally delivered in a fun and creative way by dedicated and highly experienced trainers. I would without reservation recommend this course to anyone wishing to increase their confidence and self belief. And it didn't stop there...my learnings went beyond, to overcoming the fear, and realising the joy of 'entertaining' a live audience at the Showcase event. One of the best things I have done on a Sunday afternoon for a very long time!

Raj Poojara: A great course, well worth going to if stand-up comedy is something your thinking about, if not, it will definitely build your confidence and get some high 5s from your mates for having the courage to get up there and perform! The teaching staff are great and very supportive. The showcase is an absolute blast. You'll meet great people and have a great time! High recommend! and side note - you raise money for a good cause, so stop reading this and the sign up !

L L: Great introduction for someone who want’s to start doing stand up comedy. I’d highly recommend this even before doing your first open mic show. The skills taught and feedback received is very useful. You’ll make friends and meet likeminded people from completely different backgrounds.

Vernon Hunte: .

Matt Box: . I even managed to get some laughs! My main note would be that, like all education, you get out what you put in. The tutors will give you the guidance, push you out of your comfort zone, help you craft the jokes & give you an arsenal of tricks & tips to use.

Ricardo Motti: How would have thought a 6-week stand-up comedy course could be a life-changing experience? Really fun time, great teaching, and some nice classmates to boot. It's intense, it's not easy, and it's a bit scary — but it's amazing and well-worth it. Keith and Mr. Cee were there to help us all the time. The final showcase was super well-organised. I can't recommend this enough.

DDG Improv (Duck Duck Goose): what do users think?

Edmund Fargher: Duck Duck Goose has firmly established itself as one of the friendliest nights of comedy in London, not just because the standard is so high, but also because the profound kindness and compassionate nature of the team that organise it every week is so encouraging. The audience is immediately made to feel welcome, as are the jammers, whether they are newcomers or regular performers. And it's that generous nature that keeps people coming back again and again. The Duck Duck Goose team are masters at making audiences and performers feel comfortable, safe and eager for a fun evening of comedy. And to top it off, they deliver that, too.

Untapped: Can’t recommend DDG Improv highly enough! I’d been keen to try improv for DECADES, but couldn’t pluck up the courage to have a go. Victoria Hogg and her lovely people made it so easy- everyone is in the same boat as you. It’s an uniquely freeing experience. What a feeling to have people laugh at what you create on the spot! I’m a total addict now.

bob stafford: Best Monday night improv jam in London! While being friendly, inclusive and welcoming, DDG showcases the best improv teams in London. It offers a chance to have a go yourself with plenty of support and encouragement.

John Agapiou: Very warm and friendly improv show and jam. Always a fun night, and hosts and regulars are very welcoming. If you want to perform improv, this night will give you lots of freedom, time, and support. If not, just enjoy the show.

Arfie Mansfield: Duck Duck Goose is probably the most friendly and welcoming improv night in London. Whether you've never seen improv before or are a seasoned veteran of the scene, the hosts - and audience - never fail to make you as welcome as an old friend.

Tai Campbell: I great place to watch comedy and a great place to play. I had my first ever gig at DDG, they always have a welcome environment and fantastic audience. As a DDG regular it helped me become a better improviser and gave me countless hours of laughter

Mark Tindle: Truly one of my favourite nights in London and anywhere where I've performed. It's a night filled with warmth, talent and a welcoming atmosphere. Team DDG work so hard to create a special atmosphere where anyone can flourish, whatever your improv experience.

Stuart Moses: . The Jam Captains are there unannounced to make sure everyone is looked after, and to encourage those less confident to join in the shenanigans. There’s also plenty of fun to be had as an audience member. DDG Improv invite a wide variety of acts from London and beyond to delight and entertain you.The room itself is quirky, but welcoming, looking like a living room from the 1970s. DDG Improv has invested in lights, but the evening has a pleasant Let’s Do The Show Right Here feel. The rotating cast of hosts obviously love what they do – and their enthusiasm is infectious.I’m filled with admiration for the bravery of people who start their improv journey by playing in a jam. If you’d prefer to attend some improv classes before making your public debut, the good news is that DDG Improv has started to offer those too.

matt stainsby: DUCK DUCK GOOSE IS A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH!!Amazing improv. Supportive. Strange floating balloon. Friendly. Lovely.WHAAAAATTTT??! A Renegade Wizard? A choose your own adventure heist? An absolute beginner doing improv for the first time?! That's what I saw. Who knows what you'll see!! The future is here with duck duck goose.

Vanessa Tsu: Warm, friendly and supportive. Absolutely worth making the journey to Brixton and you're guaranteed a super fun night of watching improv and, if you're up for it, taking part part in the jam! Anyone can attend and join in with the jam whether they have done no improv whatsoever or have been doing it for years.

Fred Deakin: Yay! I love Duck Duck Goose - top improv and lovely people.

John Sandy: It's a testament to the gang behind Duck Duck Goose that you can be a complete newbie or a seasoned improvisor & still get up for 2provs & jams in front of a friendly, warm & supportive group of people. The guest acts are always nothing less than amazing and it's a brilliant way to meet new friends. And it's a free!

Sonder Novak-Booth: Warm, welcoming, fun and up for a laugh! A highly enjoyable experience

Katy Schutte: A nice, fun, safe place for improvisers to join in with the show.

Monica Gaga: Great place to try something new or exercise those already existing skills. Super friendly weekly improv jam and place to do improv workshops.

Paul: One of the best improv nights in London. Always busy. In addition to an improv jam the improvisers in the audience can sign up for they have two quality improv groups performing each week. Can't recommend enough.

Travis Darcy: Thanks DDG improv for hosting a fantastic online jam. A great distraction from global pandemic and California wildfires. Excellent format with scenes and montages on Zoom. It was beyond fun playing with you!

Peter Smith: Posting from another account to 5 star these guys. That's how much they deserve it.Is it technically just the same 5 stars again?Yeah, but you're not the star Gestapo. So I'm giving them again.Deal with it.5 Stars for DDG

Drama Classes London: what do users think?

alkistis alexandratou: Drama classes London changed the way I think the way I feel and the way I relate !Changed my mood elevated my week and I made precious friends more like a family !I enjoyed every class I had with Konstantinos and Nasia I will definitely make time next year to join for the second year !Keep up the good work guys !

Menia Myroti: Since I moved in London, I had been looking for a drama group to express my love for acting! I discovered Drama Classes London two years ago and turned out to be much more than I was hoping for! From day one, I felt that there was something very special going on there and I was totally right! I remember vividly the smiles, the laughs, the warmth, the trips in and around London, the feeling of being truly welcome in a new family; because this is what DCL is, a big family of people who share their love for theatre and each other, people who have demanding jobs and a crazy busy life in this big city, but can’t wait to meet, learn more about acting, challenge themselves and, above all, have fun!The level of work is professional and it couldn’t be any different, since the instructors are highly trained and very accomplished at their fields of expertise! Apart from acting and the techniques which are studied in depth, there are also lessons on physical expression, voice and accent coaching and much more! I was very lucky to work with amazing instructors, such as Nasia, Shani and Emmanuela! And, of course, there is Konstantinos, the heart and soul of DCL! They say it takes a phenomenal teacher for a student to realise their full potential and this is the case here! Konstantinos, an extraordinary actor and director himself, is the best teacher you could ask for! His passion and enthusiasm for acting is contagious and he has this unique ability to make each one of his students shine and thrive! If you are interested in serious acting, if you want to be part of a wonderful group of people and make friends for life, if you are seeking for an unforgettable experience in the magical world of theatre, then, this is the place for you!

Marianna K: and the feeling you get before and after each class is all so so worth it!

Olga: :

Sophie Frischknecht: In October 2022 I decided to join Drama class London to develop my acting skills. I was also looking for a getaway during the week, a place I could express my creativity. Well I wasn’t disappointed. I joined the beginners class, we worked on different techniques and I’ve learn so much. We ended up our year with a performance I will never forget. I couldn’t recommend the school more. Little note, English isn’t my first language and I was clueless on “theatre classics”, it doesn’t matter you are here to enjoy ! Can’t wait to start the intermediate class next September.

Diana Kanta: I joined the DCL community earlier this year. It was a life-changing decision! Not only was it a fun weekly activity, it quickly became a journey for self-expression, exploration and inspiration, all beyond my comfort zone. The teachers' dedication to their craft, their passion and creativity is contagious and addictive. Our group's diversity in origin, age and personalities is a revelation of how cohesively and harmoniously art can be created through a common objective. I can hardly wait to see what next year brings!

irine kal: I love everything about this experience.I offered this course as a present to myself and I’m so happy with my choice.Konstantinos is so passionate and I feel such excitement every time and looking forward to the next class. He always has different tasks for us to do and every single one of them is interesting.I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to escape their routine and invest their time in something productive and fun.

Spyros Fotiadis: I studied for 3 years in DCL and this was the best thing I did for myself. I lived in London for 8 years and I regret wasting 5 of them without joining the Drama Classes London family. Totally worth it. Definitely recommend it!

Apostolis Pasidis: I joined DCL few months ago just because I was looking to do something different in my life. I never wanted to become an actor but I love the classes because I met very nice people and Konstantinos with Nasia do a great job on building a team spirit and on keeping the team motivated in every moment during the class. I don't feel that I am doing just a class but a member of a family that I can't wait to meet. I hope Konstantinos will stay strong and he will continue doing this for many years.

Keanan Cantrell: DCL was my introduction to acting. It provided a safe space to explore my emotions and myself, generally. Often challenging, always fun, and it provided me with another family. I have great memories from the time I spent there, and I highly recommend it!

Steffy Nowamagbe: Drama Classes London has honestly been a wonderful experience for me.I improved on my craft as an actor, learned different ways of memorisation, dug deeper into the Meisner technique, worked on my physicality, voice and so much more. It is the perfect place for people of any levels, it will help you gain confidence and most importantly you will have fun.The teachers are great and they will give you the feedback that you need.I cannot recommend a better place.

Davide _: I took up the beginner's course this November and I couldnt recommend this school more! The lessons are not only funny and entertaining but also full of meaning, not only for your acting career but also for everyday life. Big thanks to the teachers Konstantinos and Nasia who provided me with theatrical tools to discover this wonderful world that theatre is, and know myself a lot more.

Yozdzhan Nedret: Drama school was great experience for me. The acting lessons with Konstantinos are one the next level.Definitely recommend !

greg karipidis: The best team in London! Konstantinos and all the tutors are great! I really enjoy acting with Dráma classes London! It’s a great experience

Nas Kamal: Great class, great atmosphere, great acting skills I have learned, one the best decision I have taken.

Foteini Kalantzi: A magnificent experience for all those adoring dramatic art! Working with excellent teachers, gaining knowledge and being part of a truly amazing group!

Mabel A: I joined DCL 3 years ago and it has been a fascinating and organic path. The approach that Konstantinos adopts is brilliant, perceptive and inclusive. We learned extensive acting techniques and theatrical references, performing different theatre plays. One of the most outstanding aspects of DCL is that the development of the group and the individual experimentation coexist in an integrated way, leading to the exploration of representation, intuitive intelligence, invisible potential and creativity.

Tudor Garcia Marquez: Drama Classes London has been an amazing theatre school for me, I have developed with confidence not only in the world of Performing Arts, Drama, and physicality, but knowing who I am and striving to be my better self. I'm glad as a student to be a part of DCL family, none of this would be possible without the School Director, Konstantinos Kavakiotis, he has a carefully selected dedicated Team / staff who makes everyone feel worthy and able irrespective of race, colour, disability etc. He and his team are an absolute inspiration to all of us, their patience and passion for what they do so well is a testament to their commitment. Every student takes lots of challenges during the academic year and has several parts to prepare and perform in the end of each year. I would encourage any person to be a part of such a unique establishment.DCL was a great journey meeting the most beautiful people on earth sharing our souls and experiences. This is DCL and this is theatre.Thank you Konstantinos and teamfor believing on us, making our lives happier and giving us one of the most important lesson for our lives.....be ourselves.

ELENI THEODOROU: DCL: One of the best educational experience I’ve ever had.Top class instructors who create a safe and inclusive environment that allows you to discover your hidden talents and creativity. Konstantinos is generously sharing all his invaluable experience and uses amazing acting techniques that will make you fall in love with acting!I highly recommend DCL!

Natalia Fomichenko: and who has been fully invested in us and opened us up to the magical world of acting.

London Actors Workshop: what do users think?

Geoff J Harris: , which gives credence and a focus for all the previous weeks of work.

Gaz !: I love the variety of components that make up the course, lots and lots of different subjects covered in a hands on way, it's like the perfect cocktail for the modern actor! The way Jon, the tutors and students root for each other on the course is the thing I find most inspiring! There is a strong value in positivity and enthusiasm in the Acting industry and the London Actors Workshop seems to have it in spades.

Naomi Robson: I took both courses the 12 week and then the 6 week intensive, during the 2020 and then 2021 lockdown. So the course was fully done online. This course reallt is the full package. The range of content covered is SUPERB. You really do it all. Scene study, Shakespeare, Acting for commericals, Screenwork and so much more. All designed to give you more tools in your arsenal and shape your development. Every teacher is so warm and supportive and challenges you in the best way. You really feel your skill progress quickly.I am a trained actress and I honestly think this course is one of the best any actor will find regardless of their ability or experience. One of the things that impressed me the most wass the emphasis on building a strong support system within and outside of the class. Everyone supports and learns from one another. The online sessions midweek and the WhatsApp group help to strengthen the bond. Trust me in 3 weeks or you’ll be cracking jokes, meeting up on Zoom and most of all feel safe enough be more bold and daring in class. This is by far and away the most diverse group of actors I've ever worked with. Spanning across so many cultural backgrounds, life experiences and age ranges! It’s wonderful. And the cherry on top is the contacts LAW has. Most courses especially short intensives like this you are lucky if a casting director sees you once . You have the opportunity to meet 3 different ones AND film something at the end of the course that gets sent to a wide network of casting directors and agents? Come on what are you waiting for? Be like a Nike trainer and JUST DO IT!

Kirsty Norman: I've taken both the 12 week course and the advice course at L.A.W. and would highly recommend both courses . The value for money is outstanding. The level of commitment and help from the tutors and director is second to none. There are also opportunities for Q & A's with directors, actors and other industry individuals. After the 12 week course there is a showcase that agents are invited to. I have met some amazing people as a result of this course and have no doubt you will too .

David Chappell: Fantastic quality actor training and professional career preparation. Highly recommended for any stage of your acting journey. Training, theatre, screen, tv, head shots, self-promotion, agents - everything is covered.

Beelynda Agdaji: London Actors Workshop opened the doors for me in this Industry.I was afraid of studying again specially in a field that I didn’t know.Everyone there it’s so friendly and helpful. To change careers it was the best decision I have done and to start my acting journey with LAW was another smart choice. I made friends and learned so much from amazing teachers. I can highly recommend it.

Vishnu: Loved the workshops conducted by LAW. Got to learn a lot and made some wonderful friends along the way. And I got an agent through it too! Big value for your buck. Definitely invest in these workshops to hone your craft and learn more about the industry. Great stepping stone/launch pad into the industry especially if you’re starting off.

Cho Cho Khin: I am a retired NHS Hospital Consultant Gastroenterologist pursuing my passion for the performing arts. Immediately following 12-week LAW acting course, I was registered with an acting agent. This is completely alien to my experience in my previous career where I had to fight tooth-and-nail for my corner. I have now done the advanced acting course too. I will continue to pursue this journey which will never be onerous as long as Jon is at the helm. I recommend the LAW course to any aspiring actors 100%.

Roshan Shanbhag: This is a 12 weeks Sunday & Wednesday course for acting in films & TV that i underwent in April 2021 with London Actors Workshop. This is a tailor made course for anybody who wishes to start out as an actor or brush up on your acting skills. Jonathan Sidgwick is an experienced course director who has successfully run this course for more than a decade. This course introduces us to various acting techniques such as Method, Meisner, Shakespeare, Improv, commercials, Script Analysis & Audition technique. Besides this, we are also provided with critical coaching around knowledge about the business of acting which acts as a building block towards our acting journey. Finally stage of the course encompasses producing show reels that includes a monologue and duologue and is published to more than 400 agents and 200 casting agents. Within a month of this email by LAW, I have secured a talent agent for my representation. I strongly recommend this course and today I am fully equipped to applying for acting jobs. Best course in the industry in current state of affairs. Three Cheers!

Richard Tinworth: Great course with terrific teachers. Not just teaching you acting techniques but teaching you how to apply them too. The most practical acting course I’ve done

Chris Cordell: This is a terrific course. I can’t speak highly enough of Jon and all of the tutors. I’ve lost count of the number of people that have done this course and gone on to paid industry work. Personally I got so much out of it and I wouldn’t be doing all the work I have been doing without this. The people that attend are great too and so supportive of each other and we all still keep in touch and help each other out. Jon has created something special here. You won’t regret doing this course.

Sushant Nair: I took the 12 Week Acting for Film & TV Course in 2018, and followed it up with the 5 Week Advanced Acting for Film & TV Course the same year, and also took it up this year as a refresher, and I highly recommend signing up. The courses are packed with information, exercises and techniques shared by various industry professionals. What I loved the most about the courses was that your acting experience prior to signing up did not really matter in order to secure a place for training here. There is a place for anyone who really wants to pursue acting and is willing to take the craft seriously and ready to learn with an open mind. This laid the foundation for my acting career, and I owe it to Jon Sidgwick and the tutors at London Actors Workshop.
