Paul Murray: Both physically and mentally challenging. As well as learning practical self defense techniques you learn to challenge your greatest opponent in life...you! I started with a free trial 10 years ago and have been going ever since. Great club with a really positive vibe.

Jiyoung Cha: SKMA is one of the proper and the best martial art school where you can learn a fine Hapkido by Master Sung (6th dan) and other best instructors. They are very helpful and paying attention to individuals. Not only kickings & punchings, but you can also learn practical techniques during the class which is very useful :-) I strongly recommend to have trials (2 free trials) if you are looking for a martial art to be fit, to have confidence and learn self-defence.
Natalia Li: Very well organised school with a strong following. Master Sung is a multi-discipline martial artist who can teach all ages and abilities and classes are always intense but fun.

Dan Johns (The Amazing DJ Dan): Both my kids have studied with Jon and he is an excellent teacher and martial artist. Semokwan Hapkido also seems to be a very practical form of self defence compared to some other disciplines. Highly recommend.

Francois Mans: My son attends Hapkido and absolutely loves the lessons. The instructors are professional, friendly and very experienced in what they do. Master Sung is very passionate and dedicated. Children get so much more than just lessons in the art. They also learn discipline and respect in a caring environment. Nowhere else can rival what is offered here.

Kim Glover: We awaited the opening of the Worcester Park branch of SKMA with anticipation as I was desperate for my son to start training there. We were one of the first families and are still involved with both my daughter and son training with Master Sung, in person and remotely through lockdown, after 5 years. Master Sung and his team are honest, professional and courteous always ensuring the children are getting the most out of their sessions; the discipline is top notch and expectations from their students and their families are high. Personally, I opted for Hapkido over other martial arts as it teaches self defence- a skill which, living in greater London this day in age, I feel is essential. I would recommend his free trial to anyone who is considering Hapkido.

He has enjoyed learning the basic martial art skills which he hopes he will continue to improve. Naomi Beeson: The standard of teaching is excellent and My son loves his classes. We are lucky to have such an amazing facility in Worcester Park. Master Sung has been amazing through Covid, working really hard and putting on amazing online classes which kept my son healthy, but also being flexible with parents who did not want to do virtual classes.

The facilities are very good - always very clean and hygienic. Master Sung organised online classes very quickly during lockdown so my daughter could keep practising her skills.
