Ceramics Sculpture Studio: what do users think?

Genesis Almanzar: I’ve been taking classes here for almost 2 years now and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it! Cosmin is an incredible teacher, and is always willing to tailor his approach if he notices you struggling. The studio has a friendly and intimate vibe, classes are small enough to get enough individual attention and it’s just been a very lovely experience overall. I started as an absolute beginner and took the 6 week course several times to get a enough practice and have done the 9 week practice course a few times as well. This is great place to start your ceramics journey and would recommend it for beginners and more experienced potters.

Zoe Lederman: This is my favourite place in West Hampstead. I started doing a six week beginners throwing course which I loved so much I did it twice! I have been doing the 9 week practice course ever since. Cosmin is an amazing ceramics teacher who is exceptionally knowledgeable and patient. If you have been thinking about taking up pottery I cannot recommend the studio enough!

Whitney: I've taken two courses here and loved it! Cosmin is such a great teacher and gives you the right amount of help while allowing you to find your feet. He has a wide selection of colours to glaze your work in which is unusual in a lot of studios. The selection really allows you to make your work your own. I would recommend any of his classes to someone wanting to explore ceramics. This studio is probably one of the best places to learn the foundations. Cosmin has decades of experience and it shows .

Laura Pimpin: I’ve just finished the beginner’s five-week pottery class and thoroughly enjoyed it. The set up was very professional and Cosmin is an encouraging, patient and friendly teacher. It was very relaxing getting to do something completely different and creative for a few hours a week and satisfying to actually make something with my own hands! I’ll definitely be signing up for more courses. I couldn’t recommend this enough for anyone interested in ceramics.

Ameera Laher: Did the 6 week throwing course twice because I loved it so much and enrolled for the 9 week course next. Cosmin is fantastic all round and I absolutely love the pieces made during the course.

Raisa Laher: I did the 6-week throwing course as a complete beginner and loved it. Cosmin is super patient and encouraging, and I’m really pleased with the pieces I made on this course.

Anil Kumar: What a great course! So much fun. Totally recommend it to anyone.

Mot Irina: The best pottery classes in north west London!

Ruhi Jhunjhunwala: I did the 6 week pottery class for beginners with Cosmin and enjoyed every moment of it. Cosmin is patient, kind and a great teacher - I'll definitely be back for more!

myli r: Amazing classes. Did the Tasters x 2, and 6 week Throwing Class. Excellent teaching and guidance by Cosmin. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back for more.

Crispy Cracker: I’m in absolute love with my ceramics! I use them on a daily basis, and they bring me lots of joy and satisfaction. I took a 5 week beginner pottery class which was my first pottery experience. Cosmin is an excellent tutor- He gave us the autonomy to express our creativity whilst guiding us through different techniques using clay. I was very slow at times but he was patient and helped me when needed. I really enjoyed it and will definitely want to continue learning at his studio.

Cristina: and I have also done twice the 5 weeks pottery course which has been a great addition to my experience. During the 5 weeks we explored the hand-building techniques

Harry Buisseret: Wonderful courses taught by an amazing person! Thank you so much Cosmin!

Nola Walker: Amazing course, really enjoyed it, the teaching was excellent and I’ve come away with some pieces I love after just a 5 week beginner course

Nicola Illingworth: Great studio, I signed up for the beginner class which gave me a good overview of various techniques.

Peace Of Mind: what a great classes that was. Had absolutely great time and the teacher was very patient and kind. He helped and guid us so well whenever we had troubles in the process of making potteries. 5 weeks with 5 classes, it was best decisions I've ever made.

Kitty Stevenson: I had the best 5 weeks and so happy I did this course. Cosmin is the best teacher and I couldn’t thank him enough for making my intro to pottery so amazing!!

Sarita: A fantastic course run by a great teacher. Cosmin is patient, knowledgeable and great fun. A total joy. Highly recommend!

Sherilyn Mallmann: I've been taking the classes at the studio for almost 2 years now, and I couldn't be happier. Cosmin is an amazing teacher, always willing to help and inspire me to do better. The studio is great, everyone always friendly and classes are small enough so you can get the support you need.I started as a complete beginner, I tried the 5 weeks, 6 weeks and the sculpture classes, and I'm proud to see how I've been improving. Thanks Cosmin for everything so far, I cannot wait to start the next class!

Royal Drawing School Shoreditch: what do users think?

Melonie: Drawing a Story - a brilliant course with great teachers in a lovely location.

Annabel Kjar: I wanted to pass on how interesting, rich and supportive the course Mapping: Internal Landscapes under the tutelage of Perienne and Andrea has been, thank you!The content, the tutors, the guided activities as well as supportive community were very helpful in allowing me to develop new skills and new knowledge.

Jackie lewis: Going to be lost waiting for new courses to start in September. Such wonderful courses.

Aurora R: What a stunning online course! I took ‘Drawing, Collage and Poetry’ with Sophie and Rosie and got completely swept away by the engagement shown from both the teachers and the fellow students. A tight programme, a lot of exercises, inspirations, theory talks, groups discussions and very constructive feedbacks for each session. This went way further than my expectations! I can only highly recommend it! Thank you so much for this gift of a course.

Clare Muller: Learnt some really interesting new techniques- great courses and inspiring tutors!

Md mujeeb: Mohammed imran son of mohammed ghouse .. drive with confidence with her

Jeremy Rosen: Wonderful tutorials with extremely thoughtful preparation to help you improve your drawing skills and understanding. Would highly recommend as a place to learn for all those who are interested and motivated.

Sharmin K: Incredible School. Intuitive Teachers. Lovely atmosphere. My favourite place to be IN the whole World. I look forward to participating with you ALL again. Hopefully, very soon. I LOVE the Courses & the drop-in Classes 💖 THANK YOU, all, so much for everything you do 🙏 For continuously inspiring us, encouraging us, making us fall in love with ART all over again, time after time. I am VERY grateful to ALL of you.

Christian M: I loved doing the 5-day summer course. Great tutor, lovely fellow students and a very creative, encouraging atmosphere. Will defo do it again

yasemin Kascioglu: I enjoyed the 1 week, 1 pose course immensely, our tutor Claudia Carr taught us so much with great patience. I appreciated how the days were structured, looking and discussing references and images covering different topics of painting, then continuing to paint for the rest of the day. Claudia spent time walking around the room to discuss each person’s work. The studio itself was nice, we were painting during the heatwave so everything was done to keep the class as cool as possible. I do think the lighting is a problem, and was disappointed to see that the school doesn’t have any professional lighting. Thankfully our brilliant life model brought in one of his own, I hope the drawing school will invest in the future. In summary, I would definitely attend this course again, it was really enjoyable.

Josie Chadwick: Had a blast doing the "World Imagery in Art" with the Royal Drawing School. Great tutors, learnt loads and had a lot of fun. Very good attention given to each student. Tutors seem to be super interested in everyone's progress and to "meet us where we are".

Angela O' Connell: Excellent knowledgeable and gifted tutor and well run course. I thoroughly the course and learned a lot.

Maeve Martin: Summer School-Evening Flux and Flow; Ink and Watercolour at The Royal Drawing School- a superb course based on a diverse range of historical, modern and contemporary art references . Inspirational teaching with a balance between structured tasks and more experimental directions. Stephanie and Nicola are exceptionally knowledgeable practitioners. Many thanks, Maeve Martin

Gregory Thayer: Painting: Landscape, Gardens and Natural Forms; Summer ‘22. The course was very well taught, but please, please spend a little time revising the Materials List so that it conforms to what has been described for, and then what is required to fully participate in, each specific course. Time wasted using the wrong materials, or scrambling to obtain materials after the course begins, is magnified for these intensive courses. Otherwise, very good.

Sunny Art Centre: what do users think?

Ren ZHANG: Sunny has a very precious collection of arts and antiques that he has made available to the market. I highly suggest anyone interested in antiques to have a look in his Gallery !

Ioanna Konstantinova: This is a lovely and welcoming place. My tutor, Yinjie, always takes the time to explain in detail what I can improve on and breaks everything down in simple steps and rules which I find quite useful as I like a good structure and understanding what's what. Even when there's 5-6 students at the same time etc, I always get the attention I need plus it's interesting to listen to the tutor when explaining something to someone else in the class because it's another learning opportunity. Overall, a very positive experience, very relaxed environment where I can work on and improve my drawing skills and really enjoy my day.
