Leicester Square Kitchen: what do users think?

Mike de la Victoria: Let me tell you about the absolute blast we had at Leicester Square Kitchen. It was our first time, and we popped in for Sunday lunch not really knowing what to expect. Man, were we blown away!First things first, the food is something else. No joke, it's to die for. It's one of those places where you take your first bite and you're like, "Woah, where have you been all my life?" I still can't stop thinking about how good it was.But what really sealed the deal for us was Natalia, our server. She was such a star! She was super kind and patient with us, and you could tell she really cared about making sure we had a great experience. It's not every day you come across someone like her in the hustle and bustle of the city.So if you're in the area and you're hungry, do yourself a favor and swing by Leicester Square Kitchen. You won't be disappointed. We're already planning our next visit. Because let's be honest, food this good? It's worth coming back for!

Elonwy Hickey: . The flavour and execution is spot on, highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Request info from the waiters about gluten free options

The Greyhound: Exceptionally good food and service to match, arrived just at the end of lunchtime service but we were warmly welcomed and accommodated and we were not disappointed! Food was excellent, freshly prepared, beautifully presented and absolutely full of flavour, clearly a passionate team running things here! The front of house team were very friendly, attentive and ensured that everything we needed was taken care of, thank you to both teams. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely venue, bonus was an outdoor table in the sunshine overlooking the bustling square. We will be back and will gladly spread the word too 😊

Marine Michel: . Food was on point with every dish as well as cocktails. The Yuzu Pisco shouldn’t be missed.Would defo come back, love the sharing style.Removed 1 star for atmosphere as we were sat next to a very large and loud bridal party. Not the restaurant’s fault but did make it hard to chat with our table because of the noise level.Still an overall 5/5

James: Had a great pre-theatre menu here the other day. Nice mix of options on offer. Had the wings and sliders, my friend had a few salad options. The wings are truly spicy, at least the dipping sauce is! The sliders are a mix of beef and chorizo. Tasty.Nice setting on the terrace right by the TKTS booth.Wine list has some great valuesCocktails looked good didn’t try - next time!

Niral Mehta: ServiceThe waiters who served us were very pleasant. Asking about allergies, setting the table for us, always refilling our water and checking in on us. Made for a relaxed dining experience despite how busy the restaurant wasAtmosphereTastefully decorated, there was lots of light stone and dark woods to accentuate the lighting of the interior. There was no music playing on the day and conversations from table to table were barely audible so it was nice not to shout at those sitting right next or across from youFoodThe food is incredibly delicious, whilst watching mouthwatering dishes pass by and getting excited for your own. They have a range of different dishes to suit all diets and the presentation is excellent. Not to mention some very interesting twists like a habanero ice cream to go with your chocolate tacosIt is recommended by the wait staff to order plates to share with one another. But at these prices, you'd have to be very careful with your wallet as the portion sizes are on the small side

Joy Johnson: . I highly recommended a visit. 🍾🥂👏Recommended dishes Small Plates …

Artusi: what do users think?

Dani D: Good value Sunday lunch menu. Although, we actually didn’t have the original menu as they had run out of every dish on the set menu and seemed to have improvised, but it still tasted decent

Will Stern: I keep coming back to this local place because it always has something delicious on its short but satisfying menu. Sometimes things aren't quite to my taste, the borlotti beans and samphire were lacking something to elevate them but the meatball starter was delicious. Again my companion's Ragu was better than my pasta dish but overall the meal was excellent. The Amaro spritz was delicious. It's a local restaurant worth returning to.

London Double Trouble: Such a little hidden gem very much enjoyed this first experience at Artusi 🙏 it's a short walk from Peckham Rye Station as well.It was a hot day, so it's perfect if passing by and heading to the common to chill out or look around. The food was fresh, especially the pasta, and both were large dishes, and there was a nice menu for lunch and enough choices for drinks too. It's quite a small venue but don't be put off by that.Solid A****LDT x

Timothy Tyndale Brockbank: **A War Reporter's Account of Artuzi: The Italian Gastronomic Oasis***Date: June 10, 1917**Location: Artuzi, an Italian Restaurant*As the tumultuous echoes of war engulfed the nearby streets, I sought refuge in an oasis of Italian cuisine known as Artuzi. Nestled amidst the chaos, this culinary haven promised respite for my weary soul. Equipped with a pen and a palate yearning for satisfaction, I embarked on a gastronomic adventure, armed only with my observations and a thirst for culinary enlightenment.Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted by an air of warmth and familiarity. Sunlight poured through the windows, casting a golden hue upon the patrons as they indulged in hearty Italian fare. In the midst of this quaint atmosphere, I found solace and prepared myself for the culinary journey that awaited me.Opting for a glass of Gavi, a crisp white wine known for its refreshing qualities, I allowed its cool embrace to wash away the weariness of the battlefront. The wine, like a gentle zephyr, danced upon my palate, whispering tales of distant vineyards and sun-drenched orchards. It offered a respite from the heat of the summer, a temporary ceasefire in the relentless battle against dehydration.Alas, the first taste of battle arrived in the form of a plate of pesto and split pea pasta. As I ventured forth, I found the dish to be somewhat lacking in seasoning, failing to reach the crescendo of flavors that my battle-hardened taste buds craved. The pesto, though vibrant in color, lacked the robustness required to fully conquer my palate. Nevertheless, I soldiered on, confident that the subsequent course would prove more victorious.Taking refuge in a glass of Nebbiolo, a noble red wine with its crimson hues reminiscent of bloodshed, I braced myself for the arrival of a dish that promised redemption. The pasta with beef ragu proved to be a worthy adversary, the rich and robust sauce enveloping the tender strands of pasta like battle-worn soldiers finding solace in each other's embrace. Here, the seasoning sang triumphantly, its flavors merging in a symphony of satisfaction that swept me away, if only momentarily, from the battlefield outside.Yet, amidst this culinary strife, there was one constant source of pleasure—sitting in the sun. As I sat bathed in its warm embrace, the world outside seemed to fade away, and for a fleeting moment, the horrors of war were a distant memory. The golden rays kissed my face, bestowing upon me a semblance of tranquility in an otherwise turbulent world. In this moment, I understood the profound power of simple pleasures, of basking in the sunlight as if it were a beacon of hope in the midst of darkness. To quench my thirst, I summoned a mighty bottle of sparkling water, a testament to the perseverance and resilience of the human spirit. As the effervescent bubbles danced upon my tongue, they carried with them a sense of rejuvenation, a reminder that even amidst the chaos, life's simplest pleasures can provide relief. In conclusion, Artuzi, despite its occasional missteps, offers solace to weary souls seeking refuge from the storm of war. Its ambiance, bathed in sunlight and infused with the spirit of Italian hospitality, provides a sanctuary for those yearning for respite. Though some dishes may falter, there are victories to be found, particularly in the form of the pasta with beef ragu. And in the midst of it all, the enduring joy of sitting in the sun and the refreshing embrace of sparkling water are beacons of hope that remind us of life's enduring beauty, even in the darkest of times.

Sophie My Nguyen: Menu seems seasonal but I had the best mackerel in my life here! The gnocchi was one of the best I ever had as well. My husband got the other pasta and my friend got a veggie dish, all soooo gooood! Drooling again remember the dish and it’s just a few hours ago! It’s a quaint little spot but the service was excellent they pay attention and being so kind and accommodating to us being a walk-in with a toddler!

Alastair Boast: A rare find. Our experience at Artusi was amazing. We had the lunch menu. There were several vegetarian options available, and the wine list perfectly matched the food style.Staff were extremely friendly. If you are going to visit, then bookings are must as Artusi does fill up quickly.

temper Covent Garden: what do users think?

Jess English: AMAZING!!We've never been to a Temper restaurant before but my god how amazing!! The staff were super attentive, polite and easy to talk to! The food was possibly some of the best food I have ever eaten!!! we had the beef nachos, lamb and pork tacos with beef dripping potatoes and pork belly bites! I have never been to a restaurant and not asked for extra salt and sauce, these guys nailed in on the head! The cocktails were delicious and we had a fantastic meal! Well done guys for all the recommendations and 5* service100% recommend 👌 👏

November Water: Recommended dishes Deep Dish Brigadeiro Cookie, Beef Rib Tajin, Temper Chips

Teresa Guerrero: Nos encantó el menú, pero la sopa ...no mucho. Era un puré de champiñones

Kal Art: to the reception are working their butts off!Food was perfection and, even though it was quite busy, dishes were served quickly. Sit at the bar and you get a free show, with all the steaks being prepared right in front of you

Ari G: .Pork rib was delicious, the meat smoky and fork tender. The carnitas were delicious too. Like the cheeseburger tacos, the skewers were on the dry side

Brigadiers: what do users think?

Sejal Jain: . For the main we had the Vegetarian Sizzler, Wood Roasted Gobhi Korma, Achari Paneer Shashlik, and Brigadiers House Daal. Honestly all so good. Highly recommend and will be back if I am in London!!

Mohammed Barik: Finally visited Brigadier’s, the restaurant has that nostalgic post imperial decor done to a very high standard. The staff are very friendly and the food as expected to a very high standard. The portion sizes are very generous and you most likely could share one a starter, one main, one side between two people - keep this in mind as this restaurant is very expensive - with their mixed sizzler coming in at £70 for one portion. Food & drinks prices are what you expect in a high end restaurant and they command Mayfair level pricing. The overall experience was great. Definitely a place to go for a special meal.

Alexander The Great Restaurant: what do users think?

James Leatham: Super lovely family run restaurant. Food was great, but the personal and warm-hearted service was the real winner. I’d recommend this wonderful restaurant to anyone wanting an authentic Greek experience. Celebrated my engagement there with my sister and brother-in-law, and the owners really made an effort. Pleased to have discovered this gem - I will be back!

Lune Loh: Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian meze, and their vegetable dishes are top-notch.Kid-friendliness: Saw lots of parents bring their children here for special celebrations - it's cozy for kids!

Hawksmoor Seven Dials: what do users think?

Jimmy Khoo: Hawksmoor Seven Dials was highly recommended by our friends and our dinner experience was perfect. Our server Eri took the time to explain the dishes and even offer a customise a temperance drink for my son. We had the Shaky Pete which is fun to drink. Our starters of Potted Beef & Bacon with Yorkshires and Old Spot Belly Ribs were amazing. The belly ribs were tender and the vinegar slaw balanced the spices. My tongue was dancing from the spices in the belly ribs including a hint of star anise. Our main of Royal Sea Bream was fresh and the light addition of aromatics like chilli, garlic and rosemary enhances the overall dish. The Rib Eye steak was well cooked to medium rare. The steak was so good that no sauce was needed at all. We got a good char on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. We finish off our evening with Chocolate Anglaise and Sticky Toffee Sundae.I would say the stars would be Eri and the staff at Hawksmoor Seven Dials that made the amazing dishes enjoyable.

Yiannis Prodromou: I simply love, love, love this place. The decor, the atmosphere, the staff and the food is off the scale. Everything is 10/10! My all time favourite cocktail, the dirty vodka martini, is perfectly mixed. The steaks are simply the best, perfectly cooked and I’ve eaten in many steakhouses. The side dishes are perfect accompaniments, love the bone marrow and the mac ‘n’ cheese, and the bone marrow gravy is just wow! Easily the best gravy I’ve had with a steak. The home made ketchup is delightful and has real flavour. The prime rib which is my favourite cut with lots of marbling is so flavoursome. Fillets are tender. Everything, everything is consistently good every time we visit. Never disappoints and I look forward to the next time.

Poom Settha: . Although I wouldn’t get anchovy hollandaise sauce again. The appetiser of Devonshire crab on toast was good too

Bocca di Lupo: what do users think?

Paddy Murphy: Consistently good seasonal Italian food in a great atmosphere. Eat at the counter if you can for the full experience. Great wine list with lots of good Italian regional wines and the old favourites if you want to splash the cash. It has a loyal clientele of soho enthusiasts which tells you all you need to know. Oh, and get a truffle from gelupo over the road and have with the agnolotti dal plin in season.

Ross Farquhar: courgette trifolate.Don't let dessert pass you by. There's a reason they run Gelupo, one of the best gelato shops in London, across the road. Two of us had the choux burger

Carl Hopkins: 25/5/22Tuna tartare, asparagus alla basannese with hard boiled eggs sauce.Cuttlefish and fresh peas.Light concentrated delicious healthyBrilliant simply brilliant.24/6/23Another sensational evening.I was sitting on a stool watching the team deliver fabulous food and brilliant service.Fossil fish and thinly sliced courgette ✅.Each dish is intensely flavourful.CHRecentSee pics. Another special occasion sitting on a bar stool. And I’m lunching here with family this Thursday.
