Le Cordon Bleu London: what do users think?

Ls Chan: The Le Cordon Bleu Cafe is a good place to rest your feet & enjoy a cup of coffee after visiting the British Museum. The blue berry pastry is very tasty - would definitely been better if it’s just out from the oven! Friendly Service too.

Juliana Albuquerque: Pleasant atmosphere and delicious brunch

Adam Lewis: The Tastes of Asia course was lots of fun, & terrific number of tips & techniques that reasly improve your cooking! Chef Marco & Chef Colin were brilliant!

Nikolas Cruz: I really like it and also loved it the way how they teach

Alexey Subach: Cheese and wine pairing event was nice, there were 6 kinds of cheese and 6 kinds of wine. The sommelier was a bit late and overall we only tried the first pair at the end of the first hour and therefore had to rush a little bit in the second hour to try the rest of the pairs. The sommelier told us a lot of information about the cheese and wine and it was great that he had a screen where he could Google and show us some pictures. There were no extraordinary pairings but I liked most of the cheese and a couple of wines. The building and room itself were a bit old-fashioned while they present themselves as the state of the art building

Sherry Zhao: How can the work of Le Cordon Bleu students not taste good? Praise 👍

David Ramboux: Out of the bustle, an oasis of calm and taste. Perfect

Terry Graves: Excellent service and food

Itzhak Bekerman: Excellent coffee and cakes

Bob S: We visited cafe only. Good coffee and desserts. Outside sitting in a small courtyard.

Cookery School at Little Portland Street: what do users think?

Alexandra Zeevalkink: Really enjoyed the knife skills class here. John and Michela were wonderful. Found it super interesting.

Tom Gray: Knife skills - I attended the course led by John and Michaela, coming into it with some knowledge but poor technique. The course is well planned and run. We learned a variety of techniques for all sorts of different shapes and sizes of vegetables and meat. I left with greater confidence in how to do things quickly, efficiently and safely than when I started. Highly recommended. Xxxxxx

Jessica Ryan: Loved the fish and shellfish course! Great for learning techniques and recipes I wouldn’t have tried. John was a great instructor. Would definitely go back and try other courses.

Zahra Rose: Such a beautiful start and stories of the origins of the school. Very knowledgeable staff members and teachers. Top spec equipment, clean environment, hygiene taken very seriously and Betty environmentally aware and friendly in all aspects, great location, 10/10 for teaching styles and attention to detail! Loved every moment. Thank you for having me!

Olivia Allen: What a great class! Teacher was amazing, funny, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We learnt so much in about 3.5 hours, ate so many tasty things, and got loads to take home! I am an avid baker but certainly learnt a lot of new things, though I think it is also very beginner friendly too.Couldn't recommend enough and I will certainly be booking another class with the Cookery School. Thank you!

Katarina Punovuori: Such a wonderful cookery school tucked away near Oxford Circus tube station. Did the Essential Vegetarian course as a novice cook and learnt so much. Staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and practical which really helped with learning. Leaving with a selection of new favourite recipes and enthusiasm for good food. Highly recommend for anyone interested in trying their hand at cooking!EDIT: Have now also attended the knife skills workshop. This was more focused on technique and practicing skills. Very useful and enjoyable! Highly recommend!

Nicolas Kokkinos: I left stuffed to the gills on this fish cooking course. Absolutely a joy learning about how to cook different kinds of fish and various different sauces. Loved it - and John the instructor was so engaging.

Sara Meyer: I had an amazing time on the knife skills class. John was a fab teacher, who explained techniques very clearly and guided us through if we got stuck. I feel like I'm much more efficient at chopping, slicing and dicing now!

Sacha Palmer: Such an amazing class - I went for the knife skill course and I was really impressed. Great tips and quality food. I highly highly recommend!!

Rupert Clark: Just done the knife skills class. Just super - really good fun and I learned so many ways to make my cooking faster and easier!

The recipes were easy to follow and John did a wonderful job of explaining everything. I learnt so many new skills and the food tasted amazing. So lovely to sit down with a glass of wine at the end and enjoy the product of my labours!

mirela stoica: I attended at the Absolute Beginners, I’m so glad i bought this course, we learned new techniques and how to use different ingredients. John is an amazing chef, he wouldn't let us leave the building until we had memorized everything he taught us. Thank you John. Highly recommend!Ps: After Absolute beginners course , I also bought The Ultimate Fish and Shellfish, and Spain Home cooking classes 😊😁

Aliya Panju: The absolute beginners course here was phenomenal. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The course teaches you multiple cooking skills but most importantly you’ll learn how to cut onions and garlic properly. So I would highly recommend doing a course/ class since this was a great experience.

You get to cook quite a lot of different dishes and styles of cooking which is great. The chef was very knowledgeable and entertaining and the two guys helping out in the back were super lovely and very quick and tidying up. Paul Carse: Really enjoyed the evening. Learned a lot, cooked some lovely food with lovely people

Eleanor Stone: My sister and I enjoyed a great vegan baking class. I can't believe we made so much and had it all to take away with us! Even though I've done a lot of baking, I still learnt lots - Richard is very knowledgeable and entertaining. Only thing I would change - if we had got the carrot cake in the oven sooner, before he explained the other bakes, it would have had longer to cool and the icing wouldn't have melted on the way home!

Dawn: What a fabulous cookery school! We really enjoyed the fish class...Richard was super knowledgeable, good fun & taught us loads!

Simon Burke: Finally got to enjoy my belated Xmas present in Bray with a great group of fellow aspiring foodies. Gian Carlo was just the best! Amusing, beguiling and very patient, as were all his team. Having eaten here before it was fun to have a few hours behind the scenes and get to eat what we made. Thanks Sharon a fabulous present.

J P (JOSTY): Fantastic evening with wife cooking difficult types of bread for pizzas 🍕 & breadsticks & donuts 🍩Brilliantly run but the team and a little side of Italian humourQuite hands on but guided all the way throughTo finish the evening by eating what we prepared was a great way to end the night & finally a glass of Red wine 🍷…💯 recommended

James Neilson: Unbelievable day on the 'Day in Amalfi' course. Really fun, really enjoyable day. One of the best days out in a long time.

Mert Artun: A veru unique and wonderful experience with Filippo Berio and chef Stefano Borella. We cooked and ate great Italian food and tasted special wines and olive oil. Perfect place to learn and enjoy cooking.

Martinique Banlieue: Took the Italian classics cooking course, and what a course it was. Basically, under Stefano's superb leadership, I spent 6 hours cooking, drinking, sipping coffee, and, of course - pardon the pun - eating. A wonderful experience, and hopefully the skills gained will stay with me!

Lawrence Burgess: This is comment on the cookery school. Was given a cookery day as z birthday present. Had a great day at the Amalfi cookery program. All covid friendly. Great cooking lesson led by Stefano. Was a great day!

Jessica Pearson: Can't wait to eat here again - the food is fantastic. One of my favourite italian's

meritxell gimenez serra: I've been there few times by myself or friends and it's always been a lovely experience. The floor is checking constantly if we need anything, advising about wine pairing and making sure our food is perfect. The chef is always coming to the table asking to the guest how was the experience, even when is busy. I am a chef and I am aware how difficult is to check on the guest while is busy and serving perfect standard of food.Caldesi is a place where you always feel welcome to come back with friendly staff and fair prices.Looking forward to repeat this lovely experience.Meri

The recipes were quick and easy to do and very easy to transform into your own kitchen. In fact I've already made a few dishes. Prepare to become addicted. We got to enjoy a number of dishes and then enjoy sitting down as a group at the end to enjoy our creation as well as having plenty to take home.

We started our session with some background information on Japanese food traditions and then started moving on to food hygiene preparation etiquette and this all led to the whole experience being very authentic, my daughter couldn’t believe she actually left knowing how to make sushi professionally. After preparing all our sushi rolls with full guidance from Reiko, we were then invited to all sit down on a professionally laid out table with all our our sushi, Mizu soup, condiments, freshly grated Wasabi and some saki. When all this was done, we had a pleasant surprise of home-made Matcha ice cream ending the four hour session.
