Le Beaujolais: what do users think?

xyfio: Love the ambience and good variety of wine though would say they are above average price

Chrysi Kaparounaki: Nice atmosphere, very cozy, good for a glass of wine accompanied by a platter.

Haroon Malik: I’ve been meaning to go for sometime, and watching a show nearby meant the opportunity finally arose. I didn’t have a booking but a seat was found on a big table where others were also sat. The whole place was packed with quite an eclectic bohemian crowd in this quirky bar/restaurant which gave the place a charming energy. Both the food and wine was excellent, served quickly, and the bill when it came showed great value too. If you, like me, love bars and restaurants that herald to a bygone time in a bygone place, then please do give this place a go.

brian manley: This is an exceptional find, centrally located in Theatreland, 3 minutes walk from Leicester Square.A vibrant and busy spot, yet, service and attention to detail are second to none.Prices are reasonable and food and drink excellent. We would recommend Le Beaujolais without hesitation.

Ben Spinks: Really good wine. Simple, tasty food. Friendly attentive service. Remarkable value.

Noizé: what do users think?

Leon M: This really is an excellent spot. The food is not super fussy, just incredibly well executed - “bistro style” would be a slander but equally it’s not grand and formal. They don’t have a Michelin star but you wouldn’t be surprised if they did.The wine list is excellent and somewhat fairly priced - the proprietor is evidently a wine nerd and cares about such things.

Michael Cox: Recommended dishes Crispy Pork Belly with BBQ Sauce

Vincent Lo: Excellent restaurant with exceptional quality of food paired with a large selection of fine wines and encompassed by a exquisite interior decor. Definitely a place I would recommend to my friends and family.Starting with the food, the amount of choice is not large, but enough to cater for most people, ranging from 5 to 7 selections per course. Quality of the meat is incredible, presentation was decent and the preparation time was not too slow considering it is a French cusine. Portions were quite small but offset by the creamy sauce. Prices were around 30 pounds per main course and 20 pounds per starter. More on the expensive side but not excessive for French fine dining. The wine selections is in abundance with a wide range of pricing and a suitable selection for the 'By-the-glass' section. A friendly and welcoming selection that is inclusive for most drinkers. The interior is greatly tailored to the cusine and area. Dim lighting to set the mood but also enough to see what you are eating. Perfect place for a date night or a small business gathering. The service was great and efficient, as the place is small and is appropriately staffed. All courses were swiftly introduced to the customer and not overly dramatic.

Yvonne Lee: especially crispy pork belly, didn’t expect its texture would’ve been surprisingly good.

Lasse Surland: Great French place where locals come back. The wine is fairly priced and the guy knows his stuff.

Matt R: A cute restaurant tucked away in the heart of Central London which manages to give off a small neighbourhood vibe. This is somewhere to come and indulge in a dining experience as the pace is purposefully relaxed. The food is indulgent and delicious, so will definitely be visiting again when the menu changes seasons.

Ray Tilney: Having been welcomed by Mathieu and his team many times over the last two or three years I just realised that I have not taken the time to share just how super Noizé is.The team give a very friendly family feel whilst at the same time are properly professional.Everything continues to get subtly better over time and since the arrival of Chef Farrugia the food has been elevated to the next level. If you happen to love wine Mathieu’s Sommeliership and knowledge are the icing on an enjoyable, relaxed, top value experience.

L'Escargot Restaurant: what do users think?

Amanda Lee: An amazing restaurant that has stood the test of time, it’s over 100 years old! Ordering the snails is a must. Find classical French cooking at this place, in a comfortable setting, where it’s easy to catch up with friends and family. There is bag and coat storage at reception. Ladies toilets are on the upper floor, whereas the men’s toilets are on the ground floor… For any of you on wheels. Excellent service, with kind staff. Shout out to the person who took my reservation via the phone, I really appreciate that they made a few jokes with me in a good natured way.Wheelchair accessibility: Ladies loo is on the upper floor . Men’s is on the ground floor, so if you’re a lady on wheels you might need some help up there

Mehrnaz: Amazing decorationsAmazing foodProfessional and helpful staffHighly recommend it, specially for special occasions. I had the wild mushroom risotto and my friends tried duck and steak! We all loved what we had. Oh, also the French onion soup which was the cherry on top

Katie N.: at L'Escargot. Mattia was very helpful and responsive in making the arrangements. On the night, we were very well looked after by our waiter Hugo, the room was lovely and the food was delicious

Chien G (Chiengkt): Blew me away. Traditional food made superbly - way above expectation.Fantastic service as well. Hugo was great.Above all, they had proper quantities. I was actually full!!!

Lucia Molinengo: We had a private dinner, Mattia had been amazing in organising this for us! We chose the menu with lamb and everything was great, the atmosphere was magical! A big thanks also to Aurora and Ugo !Dietary restrictions: One of the guest was GF, she was very well looked after

The bristar: courses for £39. Value for money indeed. We had snails and prawn cocktail for starters, the beef

Jeremy Winrow-Campbell Clivaz: , lobster bisque and the snail pie, a dish you are unlikely to get anywhere else, but which should be on every menu. The lobster bisque has been developed by the super restaurant team over many years and has an intensity of flavour you will find nowhere else. It's a good price too. The wine list is shortish but I found some great bargains.

Sahib Chhatwal: We had a private function here, and the staff was absolutely incredible. Freddy took such great care of us from the beginning to the end. Ismail was our bartender the whole night and absolute gem, super talented and made the evening the best ever. All the support staff were great as well.Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating to Allergies

Fuzet Farid: The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere superb. The stupendous snails were soaked in butter and herbs, whilst the cod paired well with peas and baby asparagus. The bread was freshly baked, incredibly tasty, great selection and hot fresh from the oven. We really enjoyed dipping the bread in the butter herb sauce of the snails. We had a lovely lunch.

Cabotte: what do users think?

Jo Greig: The manager of the restaurant was amazing. He was able to accommodate me last minute and wow everything was perfect!I would definitely go back again. Thank you!Dietary restrictions: They made me a vegan option that wasn’t on the menu.Kid-friendliness: Very thoughtful

Tim Hall: Hired a private room for a Christmas lunch, can't fault the food or service.

Hannah Randolph: We come here annually with a friend every time she is in London, and this place never fails to impress. The food as always was divine! The venison special was "to die for"!! We all said it was the best meal we had had in a long time. But even better than the food, if that's even possible, is the service. So welcoming you feel like you are seeing friends, and each waiter takes such care of you and you can tell they really enjoy their job! They are attentive, knowledgeable and gracious. The best restaurant in the city for sure!

piotr kacki: Very nice place with a large selection of good wines.Service excellent.Food- startes and mains are very good .Only one minusPuddings selection .To heave puddings on the menu.We were funcy, something light and refreshing after 2 courses

udaiveer anand: . But the wines are very good. There’s a lot of good variety, and price points to choose from. It was our first time here, I’d heard of the place but never booked. Would rate the food and ambience as ok, but glad we came, the sommelier was good, knowledgeable, friendly, and would recommend him.I personally wouldn’t return for the food per se. My starter, pasta and venison ragu was good. I had monkfish for mains, which was average

Ed C: Such a brilliant venue, selection of wines and fantastic cuisine! Recommend the tasting menu and wine flight. Such attention to us throughout the meal.We will be back!

M. Metehan Ciftci: Been there for our anniversary in December 2022, had a lovely experience! French cuisine with a Greek-Mediterranean twist is all you can hope for for a happy meal, which also uniquely positions this place among other Michelin-starred restaurants. The atmosphere is chique but the warm attitude of the personnel makes it a cosy place rather than a cold, ultra-professional environment. Perfect for a date or family-friends gathering. We tried 6-course and 8-course lunch tasting menus and can't recommend enough. p.s. very kind of you to offer us some post-desserts for the anniversary 😇

Sonja Chambers: The most delightful tasty and imaginative vegan menu. We had the 8 course tasting menu and every dish was superb. Some favourites were saffron fava canapé, the smoked artichoke and the chocolate pumpkin dessert not to mention the petite four. As you would expect there was an extensive drinks menu and you can pair wines if you wish. There was also a great selection of Mocktails. The service was impeccable. If you have the budget I would highly recommend a visit.Vegetarian options: A full plant based tasting meu

Trevor Morris: An extraordinary dining experience at Pied à Terre! In celebration of a friend's 40th birthday, we indulged in the tasting menu, exquisitely paired with flight of wine. Each dish was a revelation, offering flavours and textures I've never encountered before. The sommelier demonstrated exceptional expertise, introducing us to an array of wines that were both unfamiliar and remarkable. For those in pursuit of a culinary adventure, Pied à Terre is a must-visit destination, offering a unique gastronomic delight for true food enthusiasts.

Mark Whelan: Absolutely superbFood. Wine. Staff. Room. Owner’s jacket. All utterly brilliantVegetarian options: Vegan tasking menu -Sublime

Jonathan B: . The team were knowledgeable and helpful on the menu - and made some excellent wine pairings. The food itself was really high quality - French cuisine but with a Greek influence, and the tasting menu ensured that we tried a lot of dishes that we wouldn't normally select.Overall one of the best restaurants we've ever visited - highly recommend.

Eva: . The service was always present without being intrusive, very friendly and accommodating.Vegetarian options: A vegetarian menu is offered.

Dan Phelan: I would love to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to all of the staff that greeted, served and shown their expertise and enthusiasm during my recent dining experience. It was pure joy from start to finish.Thank you so so much and I’m just sorry that I had to leave early to get my train home.Special thanks to the sommelier whose service, words and knowledge was second to none. All I can say is out of this world! Thank you for the experience.Dietary restrictions: Full plant based menu-10 course with Flight of Wines around the World.

Thilaga Selvaraj: very good

Juan Merelo: A Symphony of Flavors at the Exquisite Culinary Art Show on Charlotte StreetMy dining experience at this coveted culinary retreat on Charlotte Street was nothing short of extraordinary. An ambiance that seamlessly fused charm and sophistication, the establishment served as a fitting backdrop to the true star of the evening - the gastronomic delights curated by Paolo and his supremely skilled team.Their royal treatment towards guests was evident from the start, transforming an ordinary dining event into a truly majestic affair. As we embarked on the 10-course dinner tasting journey, each dish seemed a unique chapter in a flavorful story. Complementing the sublime culinary experience was the expertise of the in-house sommelier, whose recommendations proved flawless and took our gustatory adventure to unparalleled heights. The tantalizing prelude of Canapes was intriguing, each unique and resplendent with complex flavors. The "Eggs Kayianna Fish and Chip Smoked Sardines" offered a sublime fusion of textures, while the "Variegated Cauliflower with Smoked Trout Mousse" paired exquisitely with the zesty twist of Hayward Kiwi.Their reimagining of the humble cod in "Salted Cod Skordolia" was a study in culinary innovation. The crescendo continued with dishes like "White Asparagus with Crayfish" and "Red Mullet Farci", each elegantly adorned with caviars and sauces that danced harmoniously on the palate. The "Assiette of French Rabbit" was a tender tribute to traditional fare, while the "Feuille de Brick" offered a delightful play on textures and flavors. The tasting journey was rounded off with a medley of divine desserts, the standout being the "Strawberry Millefeuille" and the intricate "Canele de Bordeaux", each crafted with such precision and passion that they were, in their own right, masterpieces of culinary artistry. The stellar reputation of this Michelin 2023 restaurant is truly deserved. It is more than just a dining destination, it is a veritable celebration of gastronomy. Every dish is a testament to the team's commitment to high-quality ingredients, innovative techniques, and their unwavering commitment to providing an unparalleled dining experience. With a team that treats its patrons as royalty and a menu that reads like an ode to fine dining, this restaurant on Charlotte Street is a must-visit culinary spectacle for all those who seek to experience a symphony of flavors. It is, beyond doubt, the epitome of top-tier dining.

CHIHIRO: The French onion soup and the escargot are excellent! These were so good that I could have ordered them twice instead of the main course. The entrance is a little confusing. It is not through a door at ground level, which seems to be the main one, but go down stairs beside it and you can find a correct door! The atmosphere in the restaurant was also good. I would like to go back to eat there again.

Léo: Very warm atmosphere in this pretty French restaurant. The dishes are very good and just like you would taste them in France. The service is also very pleasant.

Saredo M.hadi: I like this restaurant I must have eaten there 2-3 times.I recommend the quiche 🤤😋The warm service. Mériam Loughzal: ! Rillettes de canards, soufflé au Comté, confit de canard and creme brûlée are a must. Went there again for my birthday and we had the most lovely serveur! Atmosphere is very French eclectic and cool. Definitely recommend !

Robert Greybrook: Great atmosphere and foodRecommended dishes Tartare De Boeuf Frites …

Dave Wilson: Truly excellent bistro.Simple, elegant French food, done to perfection. Not the first time I've visited, and certainly not the last. They don't update their menu very often, but it's all good. The French Onion Soup is like a hug in a bowl.

See you soon!!

Paul Alexander: Beautiful service, great food.

Jack: Very cozy French restaurant on legendary brick lane. I believe run by two French ladies. It’s best do a reservation. The entire place has a very mainland European vibe. Music and food were amazing. It’s set in a very trendy area, right behind Spittalfield market as well as right below Shoreditch. So plenty of places for a drink afterwards. I’ll definitely be back.

Blanchette: what do users think?

Laszlo Sifter: Food is in good quality but nothing exceptional. I’d say it’s a simple restaurant with beautiful decorations. The pink table we got stand out from the others. I’d change that similar to the other classy wooden tabletops.Services was great. That french girl told us some historical background. She was friendly and open very engaging but not intrusive at all.The background music is the first thing I would change to something traditional French old music that matches the ambient.

Ryan Small: YouTube video recommended this in a top 10.They were spot on. I had the starters and cheese along with a cheese plate. All were a top tasting quality. The cheese dish I was familiar with but still impressed. The BBQ prawns blew me away, and the lamb croquettes were also excellent tasting but took a second seat to the prawns which is saying a lot.The drinks including the Negroni were done about as right as one can expect. The atmosphere being lunch in SOHO was peaceful despite being near major streets. The people were nice and helpful. All of the above including the price made me consider going back which was a tough call because I wanted to try so much in London.I highly recommend Blanchette.

Sebastian Totorean: Great menu concept with delightful choices that are very well presented. Staff extremely helpful, friendly and professional. Can be a bit loud at peak times but I cannot wait to returnRecommended dishes Beef Brisket, Cheese Beignets, Duck Breast, Charcuterie Board, Frites & Béarnaise …

Pip Baker: One of my favourite little restaurants in Soho. Cannot recommend more highly.Recommended dishes Moules Marinière …

Priscilla Germana G: Very good food and service.

mi do: Very good French cuisine. Everything is homemade with quality products; we feel it and we appreciate it.The chocolate fondant is a delight!!!The staff is very pleasant; the decoration gives a relaxing atmosphere. We will come back with great pleasure.

Ella Zhao: I had an amazing experience at Blanchette! I’ve been trying multiple French restaurants in London but none of them really touched me except this one. We ordered sea bream tartare, fish with clams and mussels, beef cheek and a passion fruit flavoured dessert. My sister and I could not stop smiling as they are too delicious to be true! Thank you this beautiful charming lady at the bar for serving us and a big shout out to the chef team!

Christian Mertz: A magnificent culinary experience!Congratulations on your cooking!

Sophia Gilmour: Perfect steak, lovely atmosphere

malcolm craighead: First visit for a business lunch after the refurbishment and wow it's brilliant, all on one level and they have still retained the superb ambiance prior to it.Staff ,service and food excellent, well done to everyone and hopefully not too long before I am back down in London for another visit

Lee Bailey: I was worried when I heard Bellanger had reconceptualized, but actually the menu looks great and everything I tried was really good. I recommend the panzanella, and the mezcal cocktail was also really tasty. I do wish they'd bring back the schnitzel though.I don't like being addressed as "team"-- makes me feel like I'm in a spinning class or some sort of motivational seminar. But it's a minor point; our server was attentive and helpful.

Rodrigo Vázquez Asenjo: Amazing food. Intense flavours, silky sauces, just amazing!

Tonia Pontiki: The food is absolutely delicious and the environment very cosy! We had the duck and the beed Wellington and both were of very high quality and very tasty. Really great wine as well. The only thing is that the tables are very very close to each other so if you sit next to someone loud like we did, it makes the experience less enjoyable. One of the waiters was a little obnoxious also just because we didnt speak french? Also for a cosy french restaurant in my opinion there is a little too much light. Lower light and a Candle on each table would make it the perfect spot!

Gabriel Soto: I really liked this place. I’ve walked by a bunch of times, but I never went in before. I met up with a friend here for dinner tonight and the food was delicious. I had mushroom soup and Seabass for dinner, and then we shared a tart for dessert. I highly recommend getting reservations ahead of time, but the experiences quite nice. I think I’ll be back again.

Robert Sandelson: @cassecroute109 Hunters find themselves on an increasingly chilly street awaiting the opening of what looks like an Ur-bistro. Frencher than French and redolent with promise. Recommended by well established gourmand @johnaustin8554 we stand at the doorway -it's 6pm . We've fasted like Sunak, since brunch. Taking a good appetite to a restaurant is just good manners. We ordered stuffed eggs in a creamy cheese unction, like fondue. Warming, full of flavour and texture and, I think, real food love. A plate of rough country pate is a perfect foil. Then the coup de grace the slow cooked shoulder of pork served on base of Jerusalem artichoke mash and greens. To share. The traditional pleasure of a hogroast multiplied by French gastronomy. Good eating. Some wine + deserts and a modest "addition'". This is the meal that Bouchon Racine promised but could not serve. Vaut le detour.

David N: Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. Highly recommended 👌Recommended dishes Beef Wellington …

Olivier Plassoux: We had dinner there yesterday for the first time of many.Excellent French food, excellent wines. The team managed to create a French capsule in London. The daily changing menu is a great idea. It’s in my favourites now

Stella L.: . It was unfortunate as the place is so small but they should at least keep the toilet clean and do something about the odour. There were only 2 staff during a full-house lunch, both outside and in. It was insufficient and hard to catch their attention - charging 15% SC is hefty in this case. Their menu on the board is in French only, it'd be helpful to have English translation as the staff spent a long time explaining it to each party. The final bill was a little high for this setting.

Molly Perry-White: THE BEST RESTAURANT IN LONDON!I love the atmosphere, the daily changing menu of fresh seasonal ingredients, and how I can still have my little slice of Paris without leaving London!Merci Casse-Croûte!

Konstantinos CHASIAKIS: Very good selection of wines & good food - staff was really friendly too, will definitely be coming back

Geoffrey Swinney: , been here twice and had onion soup and steak first time, delicious and second visit pig trotter on filo pastry and pigeon with petit poi’s and cep sauce

Suzanne Kay: so not much atmosphere, but it looked like the main lunchtime rush had been busy. No frills or fancy service but great, decent , real French cooking

vespinoita: Finally we had a chance to eat at this restaurant. As they don't have many seats, if you want to go you have to book at least two weeks in advance. It really was worth the wait. The food is delicious, they change the menu everyday, the food is a typical French restaurant/brassiere, you would feel like you have travelled all the way to France but you are in London Bridge. We will definitely go again. The staff is very professional.
