Marilyn Kelly: Perfect just what I wanted- fast and efficient service too - really recommend

R B: I had my first bundle of fabrics from Fabrics Galore and I spent a long time choosing what I wanted to get. The choice of fabrics is really good and there’s so much to choose! It took me quite a few days to decide and I kept coming back to my basket to add things.I made my decision and very quickly my new fabrics arrived, beautifully packed. I looked at them all and was very impressed with the quality of fabrics, they all looked even nicer than onscreen. I’m so pleased and can’t wait to make all the tops I bought fabric for - I may not have time before summer runs out!I would highly recommend this company to anyone who likes good quality fabric at a fair price. I live in the West Midlands but I would definitely visit there again, and because I have seen the quality of fabric, I feel confident in ordering online.

Kitty L: Lovely shop. I was really pleased to find all the things I needed in haberdashery. I read the reviews about bad customer service esp towards students. I was hesitant to go as I do look young and could be mistaken as students. I am glad I went and didn't have any issues. If you are the hands-on, creative type, I'm sure you'll love this place.

V L: Lovely shop and friendly staff with a great selection of products. As a customer, the one thing I'd like to see improved is the lighting in the sewing thread section in the basement. The warm yellow lights are just not bright enough for colour-matching. You often end up getting the wrong colours. The staff suggest customers to check under the skylight upstairs but it's not always sunny in London. Brighter white lights above the sewing threads would be a more appropriate and helpful. Hopefully that can be improved in the future.

Coppelia Tingley: I bought some wonderful crystal clasp for my tweed coat . I get so many compliments ! Sent all the way to Australia .I’ll be back when I’m next in London . Fabulous shop

Nily S: My favourite haberdashery. Great selection. Friendly staff.

Soo Hyun Lim: Went there to find some strings and buttons for my son’s the world book day costume. Great choices for fabric, buttons, strings, threads, zips and many more.

Helene Brady: Great fabric at a very good price, great range too and prompt delivery.Very good experience.

Delaram Shadman: Great fabric quality at affordable prices, quick delivery and very good customer service!

Wendy W: Just a few lines to say how very impressed I am with the customer service from Dalston Mills. I regularly buy fabric from them and have always been delighted with my purchases. This week I ordered 2m of white linen, which was delivered quickly as usual. When I got the fabric out on my table, I was so disappointed as it was not the bright white that I had expected! Compared to another piece of white linen I had, it looked almost pale grey! I emailed Dalston Mills to express my disappointment and got a very polite response, apologising for my disappointment, refunding the full cost of my order and telling me I didn’t need to return the fabric! They explained that it isn’t always easy to see the colour of fabric on a computer but that they didn’t want their customers to be disappointed! I have always been impressed with the quality of their fabric and their prompt posting etc and now am even more impressed with them and will definitely continue to be a loyal customer! Thank you Dalston Mills for your fantastic customer service!

Jacqui Crane: The website is so calm looking and easy to search. The shop is a treasure trove absolutely stacked to the brim with different fabrics over a few different rooms. Just the right level of help from the staff.

Luisa Baldini: Dalston Mill Fabrics went above and beyond to get me my fabric after I had been let down by another company who did not deliver to me in time. Malcom went above and beyond and within 24 hours I had what I needed. Thank you!

Tha Swagger King Audu: Decent range of buttons 👌🏾

Karen Warner: placed my third order over Easter and it arrived on Weds....can't believe how quickly it was delivered as standardfabric is great quality again and consider one item was £1 per metre in the clearance section you would never know...it's great!would recommend and will be ordering again soonThanks! xx

Rachel McVeagh: A great shop with more fabric options than you can imagine and extremely helpful and kind staff

Polly Wem: Recently purchased some silk fabrics and needed them quickly. Spoke to gentleman in the shop re expediting the delivery, and was asked to call back when some one was in the office. Emailed my enquiry hoping to get a reply on the following Monday but actually had return email telling me the fabric was in stock so could be sent for my required date - excellent thank you, great service, would definitely recommend!

Di Bunday: Great service, order was sent quickly and prompt delivery. Good value for money.

Karen Trewin: Great fabric and superb serviceWebsite is clear, great choice of fabrics at good prices.Fabric I bought was just as hoped from description & picture.- unfortunately on receipt I saw it had a printing defect. So I emailed to advise and got a very swift response, a kind offer of a discount or exchange - the exchange arrived within just a few days. Really excellent service and I will definitely buy from Dalston Mill again.

Erika Vallido: I always get my fabrics from Dalston’s online shop, especially during rush works, I could always rely on them for timely deliveries! Their customer service is also amazing! I had a fabric whose colour was off as it was a new batch, and they gladly looked for the previous shade and sent it to me asap. Will always recommend!I hope they’ll have more and more fabric options in the future 😊

Roni The Dog: In times when so many shops on our high streets are closing, I appreciate very much that Dalston Mills are still trading from their bricks & mortar store. You may have walked past this shop without noticing it, as it blends in so well with the filth of Ridley Road Market, but go inside, and you'll find an Aladdin's Cave of fabrics and haberdashery. It's hard to come out of the shop without finding what you were looking for. Long may they remain in Ridley Road Market.🤞

Jenny Hockley: I was super impressed with the efficiency of this company who turned my order round so fast having asked them to despite being very busy already. Great customer service - Great fabric exactly as ordered 😊

Suzie Hughes: Super duper service and fab quality fabric. A1 company service; top notch ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Trevor Hopkins: After a problem with the courier when the package was delivered to the wrong house. I contacted Dalston Mill and received an excellent service. I was offered a free replacement sent at no cost by a different courier. The package arrived in 48 hours. Great service - I have used Dalston Mill before and will definitely use then again.

Hannah Conway: The staff in here are lovely and the shop has everything you need. Good prices too.

Scivvus 2000: but it's a proper shop with a stunningly large selection of fabrics and haberdashery.I called ahead to check they had what I wanted and then visited to get it and some other items. They provided a quick and helpful service and I left very happy after buying all the items I needed. They are happy to let you browse for as long as you like, also because of course once they cut the cloth they can't take it back, so you'd better be sure you found what you wanted

Ariane Michaud: Huge fabric choice and amazing service

Esther Work: Great quality fabric, exactly as shown online, and they had colours I couldn't find elsewhere. Staff were really helpful when I called, made an extra effort to make sure I got my order when it was needed at a peak busy time for them.

Rose Mandy: Good service got everything u want

Fabrications: what do users think?

Emma Baker: I can highly recommend the beginners sewing class. It's a small group, really well structured and well explained. Spent the morning grasping the basics and the afternoon completing on our own project which we left with. Barley is a patient, very clear and inspiring teacher. Really enjoyable way to start your sewing journey!

Alyssa Edkins: Came here to buy some thread and elastic, the man at the counter was so helpful and gave me some suggestions on where I could go buy some fabric, though they do have a small selection! Will come again and look at doing some classes!

ZIP studio: I did the beginners sewing class 2 and just like part 1 it was EXCELLENT. We covered zips, button holes, bias binding AND made a wearable garment all expertly guided by Barley who is an incredible teacher - patient, hands-on and a fountain of knowledge + encouragement. Save yourself hours of frustration scouring YouTube videos and book this class at once! So much care taken to create a supportive learning space - Thank you Barley 3 3 3

Looking forward to taking more classes here in the future!

Sonia Vivo Sarria: . The teacher is very patient, truly passionate teaching and sewing and I am feeling very cosy and nice in her classes. Great place for gifts, craft advice, mending advice especially, yarn for sale, fabric & sewing machines, embroidery yarn, threads and a range of upcycled homewears, clothing and accessories.

Rainbow Fabrics: what do users think?

Sue French: I have been shopping at Rainbow Fabrics for some time now. They have beautiful fabrics at competitive prices. They often have amazing sales but you have to be fast as they sell out quickly! Their customer care service is outstanding & I would definately recommend them.

Darren Burch: OUTSTANDING5 starsI could not recommend Rainbow Fabrics highly enough.Very friendly and attentive staff, makes you feel you are their only customer. Nothing is too much.I received my beautiful fabric in perfect condition and in only a couple of days.I can't wait to get quilting.I will definitely be shopping with them again.Thank you Rainbow Fabrics

AnneMarie Bedwell: Our favourite fabric shop, brilliant quality at great prices.

Kathleen Lake: I could not be more pleased with the service I have been offered by Shamaila. Postage to Australia was prohibited but I was given a solution which was a generous and I can now complete my project. Many thanks for your help

Lorraine o'brien: I have such a problem with Rainbow fabrics - it's just so hard to resist - too many great fabrics and prices that are hard to say no to. My stash is out of control! Online fabric purchases are always a bit of a risk but I'm really comfortable ordering from RF, the quality of some of the fabric that I've received is amazing, some really, really high end, quality stuff. I love interesting fabric and really look forward to the weekly drop.

Suzy Sankey: Easily the best online fabric shop! The best and most unique range of deadstock fabric and in my opinion the best prices. I have got SO many bargains from here and love the loyalty points scheme. You collect points for every order which amount to % discount codes up to 30%. I’ve probably made about 7 orders now and they’re always super fast. My go to place for fabric 1000000% recommend x

Signe Akmenkalne: Ordered from them online, always great quality deadstock fabrics at good prices, the people running it are brilliant, I’m keen to visit in person too.

asher sorfleet: Lovely fabric.

sylvie904: I've just heard about Rainbow Fabrics and have already purchased two orders or fabric. I am very pleased with thequality and service and quick delivery

Sharon Wilson: This is my favourite fabric store. They have amazing fabric drops and deadstock so good for the environment. Customer service and social media interaction is fantastic. Great quality fabrics from all over the world. 80% of my summer wardrobe is made from Rainbow fabrics. Prices are amazing, even more so on sale days! I wish i lived closer :D

Tonya O: Extremely happy I found your website via YouTube. I have bought really beautiful fabrics on par with luxury brands; I especially love all the viscose crepes I bought on your website. A special shout-out to Shamaila as her customer service is hard to beat. I have had at least 2 occasions when I had problems with my order, and she was fantastic those times. I would highly recommend this fabric shop!

Mrs Potter: Discovered these guys during Covid. What an Aladdin’s cave of fabric! Great prices and stock continually is updated. They take trips to find dead stock fabric and make selections on what their Instagram followers like. It’s great, stock changes all the time!

Rosie Isaac: I love shopping here, the new delivery time is fantastic and the fabric choice is incredible.

Hannah Hodgson: Always recieved fabric quickly, great quality and customer service!

Sarah-Kate Gray: Speedy delivery and lovely collection of fabrics - deadstock Zara, nobody's child, etc. Womenswear & kids wear. Very reasonably priced and do good sales.

Sharon: Good selection online and quality fashion fabrics. Recommended.

Lucy Graystone: The best fabric shop, I have placed many orders on their website and Etsy shop. Fabric always arrives quickly and is great condition. They have so much choice too.

Ray Stitch: what do users think?

ROAR FITNESS HEALTH: to ensure my project came out as I wanted.I arrived to the class, with my organza cut for the dress making class. A bit of a risk, but she put me at ease and I felt anything was possible. Giving myself additional work - slightly diverting from the project, she was more than happy to show me additional skills including French seams and bindings.If I could i would be there every day!Cups of tea and coffee flowed, I felt more like I was at a mates house gossiping. However we all got our heads down and pushed through a good 9 hrs sewing session.I’ll 100% be back and already shared the love with sew ;

Jennifer Powell: I attended the one day 'Pattern Cutting with Alice Prier - Perfect Fit Trousers Block' course. As an intermediate sewer, I had disastrous results making trousers in the past, but found this course to be excellent. It was like being let into the 'Magic Circle' world of pattern cutting secrets, which turned out to be not that difficult and not that secret! Alice is an excellent tutor and I ended the course with a perfectly fitting trouser block and the knowledge to use the pattern to make many styles of trousers in the future.

Nicole Barrah: Lovely little craft shop with a good range of fabric and haberdashery

Gillian Spark: Beautiful range of fabric and superb service - very fast delivery

Alex Mai Thanh Nhan: Lovely sewing class with a really helpful teacher

NICK J: Incredible store with lots and lots of fabrics, patterns, sewing essentials. Well worth visiting

Felix Russell: Phenomenal range of sewing patterns. Super nice staff. Excellent atmosphere. Will come back many times I'm sure

Lex Wood: Just love this store ! Great selection of fabrics, and haberdashery - and helpful and friendly staff ...

Nikola Sariyski: A great selection of fabrics. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. There are sewing classes hosted on the premises which gives it a nice buzz. Lots of trims and patterns available as well. Some of the patterns are made up to try on/ check out before purchasing which I thought was great. Fabric swatches are available in packs all over the place which can be super helpful when looping for a fabric pairing or when patch-working like in my case. Definitely worth the trip from south London.

Kate Redman: Fabulous class. Would highly recommend. Plan to book myself onto the 6 week course

Lisa Farrell: from the beautiful fabric and pattern I purchased at Ray and Stitch in July. I am so happy with the quality. And to the woman
