Kylie Hodgkinson: Studio hire is good. Nicest in london new equipment. Online booking. Friendly staff. Clean. Free parking on road outside

Alessandro Continanza: LSA is an excellent platform for acquiring DJ skills due to the exceptional quality of instructors and the convenience of booking personalised one-on-one lessons. I had a particularly enjoyable experience being mentored by Marc and Kieran, two highly skilled DJs capable of teaching advanced skills in an effective way

Terry: Just finished the advanced DJ course. Adil is the man! Great patient teacher, listener, always making sure you get it before moving on. Learnt so much over the three courses! Now feeling ready to smash my first gig!

J Doe: hey im Reece Francis I've done the beginner, intermediate and pro course at London sound Academy and would say it was excellent!! Would recommend it to anyone. I had a number of tutors and would say they are all unique and special in their own ways. 🙌🏽

sergio serantes: I loved the experience with the academy. The facilities, the equipment and the staff of the academy were great.I must highlight the work of Olmo, who has been an exceptional and very professional tutor who has been able to adapt to my curiosities and skills. I had a great time with him learning some great techniques and ideas from him.

Yahya Abouzed: I graduated from LSA in 2019. I got to meet a lot of people in the industry through LSA. Which helped getting more gigs.I leaned a lot of djing skills from Ollie and Kieran. I would highly recommend them. 🤘🤘

Mission To Mace: This is the best place to learn Djing. I took 2 dj courses; intermediate and advance. I learned with Ollie and kieran they are amazing teachers, friendly and good explainer. All the staff are very nice and helpful. The studio have a good standard equipments. This is perfect for practice and record some mix set. Highly recommended this place to start dj in London.

Michele Pedrotti: The LSA is a top notch institution for aspiring and experienced DJs and producers. It is easily reachable and positioned near the pulsating heart of Camden Town and has a pleasant environment and feel. Most importantly, the teaching is professional and thorough yet friendly and relaxed. Highly recommend.

Luis Ontaneda: Really good experience! Definitely recommend.

LEWIS CAGER: Positive:ProfessionalismGreat all round experience with London sound academy, great tutors with a great work ethic, always on hand to help, have also played at some amazing clubs like egg London and ministry of sound through the academy, would highly recommend to anyone looking to advance themselves in the music industry

B S: I was a student on the the LSA DJing, course and had a fantastic experience. All the tutors were knowledgeable, patient and inspiring and helped me get my DJ skills to the next level. Many of the most successful DJs in their own right and know what it takes to succeed. The facilities are also great and I have heard that LSA has invested in more DJ equipment and resources since I was a student. Definitely recommend them if you want to improve your DJ skills, meet and network with other DJs and also have the unique opportunity to play in some of the top clubs in London and further afield.

Carol Siu: And for the academy, what I can say is just 'AMAZING'! The atmosphere, studios and equipments are great. These help foster my passion to go professional in DJing. I have also hired the studio for two practice lessons. Staff and tutors are so friendly and helpful. They helped me in solving the difficulties I came across.

Nick S: I did the intermediate & advanced DJ courses with Ben. Ben is a dj/producer himself so is naturally very knowledgeable & gives real clear advice on how to improve. The sessions are pretty engaging, basically covering everything you need to be able to DJ within a club. The added bonus is that LSA have gigs set up once you’ve done the advanced course

NAUGHTY NOODLES: starting on the 1:2:1 Intermediate DJ course. This the best thing I have done for a number of years. My Tutors were Matt & Claudia. They were both Great.Matt is an AMAZING tutor. He is really passionate about his craft and has given me loads of praise for my Beat Matching and enthusiasm.I feel awkward taking compliments but Matt said, "Listen Damian, you are a REALLY good DJ, accept the compliment and believe in yourself"!!He even told me that if he ever puts on any Club Nights then he wouldn't think twice about putting me on the line-up.I am so pleased I was able to achieve 5/5 in all areas of my course and I am hoping this will help take my career to the next level and continue to tick off my NAUGHTY DJ BUCKET LIST at different incredible events & venues.Thank you to LSA for an AWESOME time.

Ashley Bayley: LSA is in a great location in Camden with professional & knowledgable tutors which enabled me to complete the beginner, intermediate & advanced DJ courses.I noticed steady improvement & comfortability as I progressed throughout each stage. The feedback given was excellent which definitely boosted my confidence mixing and using the equipment. I was also able to book further sessions to put what i’d learnt into practice, brush up on weaker areas and experiment with various genres. The next steps for me is the elite course, playing at upcoming gigs & networking in Ibiza. Looking forward to taking the skills I’ve learnt to the next level. Thanks LSA!

Peter Flewitt: Fantastic experience. Great gift if you want to treat the next aspiring DJ!

Jason Aspinall: I joined LSA at the start of 2023 and have since completed the advanced DJ course. Zoe byrne: Great studio setup, quality equipment and very accommodating and helpful also! Love using BAD Studios and would 100% recommend

Kab: Love this please, staff are super nice and friendly, equipment is clean and perfect and not to mention they have the best and newest equipment. Will be back for more. Highly recommend.

Farrah S: I have been using BAD Studios to both learn how to DJ and to practice DJing with and would recommend them for both services. As a DJ teacher, Mantas is extremely knowledgable and patient and provides the type of guidance that for me makes him not just a teacher but a mentor as well. With regards to the studios, they have the latest CDJs and you can opt for either a Pioneer or Xone mixer which was ideal for me as I needed much practice on the latter for a radio station that uses it.And, whilst I've yet to use this service, you can also stream from the studios all for just £10 ph.If I lived closer, they'd be the only studio I'd use! Check them out...

Sebastian S: So impressed with the quality of the equipment and overall service here - super helpful staff! A combined digital/turntable setup with a choice of Pioneer/Allen & Heath mixer, and a nice monitor set up! Highly recommended if you want to practise on a club-level setup!

Igor P: Very good and thorough teaching with a lot of attention to details.

Georgie McVicar: Can’t recommend this place enough! Equipment was great, well furnished studio, friendly and helpful staff. Will be back in a heartbeat! X

Junko Shimada: it's hard to find a studio with Technics nowadays. But this studio has it all. selection of mixers, proper studio with good sound system. It's cheaper than other places also. Nicest people, also my fav event organiser / artist runs this place. Travelled from North East London but worth it!

Vatsala Sharma: The staff are very friendly and supportive! They were very helpful and I was able to record a mix at ease. Great value for money and state of the art equipment!

J Sweet: Really nice people i always feel welcome and the studio's are nice and tidy.Great equipment to use and always in good condition if you ask for the recording it always get sent to you within the time said.Left alone in the studio to do your thing and for the price you pay there is nowhere better..I've been using at least fortnightly for the last 5-6 months and have enjoyed every session with absolutely no problems at all.

Tom Snell: Great place with tonnes of top equipment. My go-to for mixing sessions.

Tara G: and I'm really glad I chose here. Me and my DJ partner were really impressed with the space and set up... We will be going back again for sure. Very reasonable hire rates for such a nice studio, staff are friendly and professional. A hidden gem in Shepherd's Bush.

Andrew Stewart-Jones: I’ve been going to BAD Studios for about a year now and can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a reliable place to record or jam on club level equipment then look no further.Staff are always friendly and helpful, and if you’re lucky you’ll meet Mango the in-house pup 🐶Always a pleasure to record here 🤝

Chris: Great setup, flexible times, and the team are really nice.

London Academy of Music Production: what do users think?

Aidan Cooper: I did the 3-day mixing/mastering crash course. I learned a lot of fantastic workflow tips and a lot of general common sense things that seem obvious when you think back. My tutor explained the idea of phase, buffer size and other fundamentals in a clear and concise way. He also showed me some fantastic Logic Pro working techniques to get the most out of the DAW and to be able to replicate some of what you can do on Pro Tools with plenty of hacks and tips. I loved his philosophies on music and his offering of how some people do things, and how he would do things differently. I appreciated that he wasn't steering me in any one direction and telling me there was one clear path and that I'd be an idiot for deviating. He explained everything, including rules of thumb and different methods for doing different things and that not all of them are necessarily "wrong", just a different approach. I really appreciated the gentle approach to teaching that my tutor possesses, and his patience and demeanour when handling pupils.

Eddy Barrett: I wish I had done this years earlier. As someone who has no musical background I thought I would really struggle, but found with Toms guidance I was able to start making my own beats and melodies quite quickly, which was very rewarding.Tom was a fantastic tutor and Trystan the owner allowed me to customise the course to my own taste. This has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done and am very thankful to everyone invited at londonamp.

Darren Partridge: Highly recommended! Personal online tuition as an introduction to using Logic Pro X: comprehensive and detailed coaching from a very talented and enthusiastic tutor who tailored the course to exactly what I needed and gave a lot of added value with shortcuts and tips that you would never discover trying to teach yourself. Great value, will be studying again with them!

Lorenzo Taddei: I enrolled for the sound engineering 6 month diploma and before I had even finished the course I had already started working in live and studio sound. The school offers you invaluable hands on experience with consoles and lets you practice on the premises.strongly recommend if you wanna get your foot in the door of the music business.

Alexandra Hearth: I studied a beginners course in music production with London AMP. Trystan was really communicative and helpful before and throughout the course and my teacher was brilliant! The course gave me the perfect foundation in Logic to then go on and develop from. I signed my first record deal a year after starting. Thanks London AMP!

Magda Suchenia: I just completed Club DJ Certificate course.Academy has great facilities and even greater people working there.Level of tuition is top class.Everybody are welcoming and patient. They are very flexible with your schedule.Highly recomended.Hope I’ll be back for more.

Shaun Kitchener: Highly recommend their DJing crash course - friendly, concise, hands-on, just what I needed!

Suvi Bisnath: Awesome place! I did a 1-day DJ crash course at the London Academy of Music Production and had the most amazing day. Both fun and educational. Charlie was a great tutor and I'm now keen to learn more.

natalia ferrer munne: Had a 2-day clash course for Dj beginners and I can’t believe how much I have learned in such a short amount of time. Teacher was incredibly talented, knowledgeable and patient. Would recommend to anyone who wants to get started with DJing from scratch! Amazing job guys!

Bluefootjai: Amazing mixing and mastering crash course with Lorenzo; who was a first class tutor

James Waymont: Fantastic facilities and tuition, the Mixing & Mastering Certificate course was the perfect education to help take my mixes to the next level. They were very accommodating with working around my schedule and always on hand to help with any technical difficulties I had. An excellent academy.

Rahel von Arx: I thoroughly enjoyed my time studying at AMP. The Music Production and Technology Diploma course felt very well structured and varied. I liked the one on one lessons, as the tutors really took into account my level of learning and I was able to work on my own projects.

Beth Bains: I just completed a sound engineering crash course, the one on one experience was fantastic. Friendly tutor, great pacing and explanation, hands on learning, very happy overall.

Enzo Pires: I can highly recommend the London Academy of Music Production. I recently finished my Mixing and Mastering Certificate and found the level of tuition excellent! It has completely opened up my eyes to how to approach mixing music was a very well structured course!

Scott Kelleher: I have been DJing for almost 10 years with half of that playing in bars and clubs around the world, but I had no clue about music production.. it was all very daunting! I knew how I wanted music to sound but needed that push and experienced tuition to give me a kick start!I did the basic intro to music production with Jon and it was a massive eye opener! He gave me the tools I needed to help me along the way and made Ableton Live feel more manageable. The course was perfect for someone like me who already has that ear for music and knows how a track should sound.I strongly recommend this course for anyone that has that DJ knowledge and knows how a track should sound!Top guys! Thanks again London AMP

Triple Titan: This course has been invaluable to my development as a songwriter, composer and music producer. My Music Tech course was able to fill in gaps in my prior knowledge and develop it a great deal more. The tutors are patient and experts in their field. The only thing was that some studio equipment was broken/out of service. However, this is a minor point and did not take away from how much I learnt at the academy. Highly recommended.

Carlo Raffaelli: Positive:Professionalism,QualityThe one-to-one course was an amazing experience. They have customised each lessons to my specific needs and the course fulfilled all my expectations. I highly recommend it.

Caio Guerra: Very dynamic and hands on.I highly recommend the course to anyone who wants to take their engineering/music-production skills to a next level and compete as equals with the Pros.My Tutor Matt was extremely skilled and knowledgeable.

Bernadeta Urbonaite: I did Music Technology and Production Diploma.I highly recommend this comprehensive and well structured course. One on one tutoring as well as flexible class schedule worked really well for me.Academy has great facilities and very professional team.I enjoyed every single class with my brilliant tutor, who showed great expertise and encouragement. It was a perfect stepping stone for me in developing skills to further my composing career.

HUB16 Music School & Recording Studio: what do users think?

R.: Best place to learn how to DJ!

Hardip: Can't recommend hub16 enough. I've been learning to DJ with Sam and I've had an amazing experience. Not only is she incredibly experienced and knowledgeable about music and technology, she's the best teacher. I felt really supported and had so much fun learning. Thank you! x

Tabitha T: Sam and the excellent team at HUB16 are the unsung heroes of electronic music in east London and beyond. I cannot say enough about the commitment and passion they have put in and engendered in others over the many years of them being in business. Through my work at NTS and also in my personal capacity as a DJ and selector I have always been so admiring of the skill and energy that Sam and crew being to teaching DJing, mixing, engineering, and all the various facets of music. Sam’s expertise has really helped me unlock new angles to my DJing, and the HUB16 teaching style is careful to really affirm the individual character of each selector/DJ. This is especially important for women, NB, and POC DJs in my opinion. The studio space itself is relatively DIY for now, in part because of Sam’s fierce commitment to the underground and independent scene, and because it’s a home for music in all senses of the word. It’s extremely considered and welcoming. You just won’t find this level of warmth at any other studio. Not to mention the passion and knowledge across a breadth of genres. Every time I speak to Sam or have a session my excitement for DJing is reignited all over again, and I really can’t wait to spend more time at HUB16 over the coming months and year. Recommended a thousand times over.

Nisha Onyenaoha: I did an intro session with a few pals - it was amazing. Sam has created a really beautiful, comfortable space to learn and have such a great time at Hub16. I felt like we all picked up the basics, as we weren’t afraid to make mistakes because of the environment and Sam’s teaching style. If you’re even the slightest bit curious about DJing I would recommend Hub16 and Sam!!!

Zainab Conteh: I had a fantastic beginner DJ group session with Sam and 2 of my friends. It was the perfect balance of technical learning and fun participation. I was surprised at how much we were able to cover in 4 hours but I left feeling excited about the session and eager to continue with learning how to DJ. Sam is an amazing teacher and shows real passion for her craft. She also provided us with useful follow up materials.

Emma Collings-barron: Highly recommend the studio - had great experience. Samantha fab teacher have learned lots she’s also great fun!

Garnish Music Production School: what do users think?

wynona karolin: I attended Garnish London for 1 year and I already miss it.I had absolutely 0 knowledge in terms of music but teachers were always very friendly and full of great advice. They are always considerate and encouraging, happy to offer any kind of help. I feel like I learnt everything I needed, but even more than that, I got to do it in a very positive and supportive environment. The studio where classes take place is very comfortable and welcoming. Teachers also never fail to ask for feedback from the students to make their learning experience even better.Classes are relatively small, which is good ; it allows students to ask as many questions as they want. My class was never more than 4 people. All in all, it was a wonderful year spent at Garnish. I met cool classmates and teachers who made me love going to school. I would do it again with no hesitation !!

Zeynep Ağcabay: Changed my life. Thank you Garnish!

zoe clare: Positive:QualityI took the online mixing course and it was really great. The tutors are highly knowledgable and I quickly went from being a novice mixing engineer to someone who knew exactly what they were doing.

James Robinson: Took the Mixdown/Mastering Course and was blown away by what I learned. Our teacher was very proactive and helped with any questions I had! Will definitely go back for more classes!

The Briggs Warehouse Studio: Great experience. Great teachers, great community. Picked up all kinds of great skills, tricks and tips.

Vivaldi Cristian: If you are searching for a school, look no more! You won't regret coming to Garnish Production school!

Joseph Rush: Absolutely amazing value. Fantastic instructors, thoroughly enjoyed learning at Garnish! I just want to book on every course now.

Shulgin: Great course, Ali is an excellent teacher

Paolo Francesco: After seeing my boss and friend Jamie Jones make tracks on Ableton when I was his tour manager, I decided that I wanted to learn it too. He recommended I check out Garnish so I did. The guys there are great and I learned in a few weeks what would have taken me years on my own going through online tutorials.

kitproudfoot: I have told 100 people about these courses. They saved me years. I had so many musical ideas in my head that I could not get out & within days of starting the course I was on a roll. I am still referring back to notes I made.

Jonathon Burden: Amazing course dealt with at the right pace for all varieties of learners. I recommend the evening courses which work on bitesize 3 hrs. . . which is just right!

Chris Fry: If you want to take your music production skills to the next level then you need look no further!!! Garnish LDN offers a great teaching/learning environment and all the tutors are friendly, highly experienced and masters in their field. Highly recommended. I have attended 2 course so far and wont look anywhere else.

Barney Muller: As a session guitarist I always wanted to learn more about what went on on the other side of the glass. So I took the Logic course alongside the Mixing & Mastering course and can now confidently send sessions to producers all over the world, with the exact sound I'm after, all from the comfort of my own home. Also took the EMP diploma course, which really opened my eyes to the plethora of tricks and techniques producers have at their disposal these days to get the sounds they want! Thoroughly recommend the tuition and the student support; a year on and I'm still receiving updated notes for new versions of Logic etc. Can't go wrong picking these guys, an independent school comprised of tutors who seriously know what they're talking about and can give you world class instruction for a very reasonable price.

Mauro Zarattini: I did the mixing course and it is great. Great friendly tutors, they teach very well and the price also is fantastic

Kieran Doyle: Fantastic music school - great instructors and brilliant value for money. Make sure you check out Garnish if you're thinking of getting into music production!
