The Piano Works Farringdon: what do users think?

Rajat Rana: Atmosphere: 5/5

Joseph Tan: Good place close to Farringdon Station. However, I prefer the West End branch because it is bigger and has better facilities for small or big groups.Farringdon is a lot smaller. We reserved a table for 8 and was shown a standing table that could only fot 4 people. The bands that played were still very good though. My friends still had a great evening .

Son: and Kian was fantastic- such a friendly, talented guy who really made our night with great service as soon as we arrived. Thank you Kian on behalf of Paul and us!Only minor issue was the constant clearing of our booth later during the night- we had to keep an eye on our drinks to make sure they weren’t cleared and the clearing staff weren’t particularly friendly- knocking/ pushing into us when passing. But minor compared to an overall great night.Recommend getting there early for half price drinks and the sliders were great.

Toulouse Lautrec: what do users think?

Yvonne Waibel: Jazzlokal mit Restaurant. Bewirtung auch im OG beim Konzert. Klein und aurhentisch.

Katdog Leeryan: Wonderful.atmodphere, lovely food

Romain Alexandre: I loved the cassoulet. I really recommend and want to go back for the piano or jazz night

Marton Polos: Great personal ambiance

Helmut Ehmer: insider tip.

Colette Williams-Moore: Great food, great service & brilliant entertainment.

Alister Black: Nice jazz bar

Omer Moghraby: . There is plenty of fish on offer, well cooked and good value. What is quite different is the jazz club

Elle: Little gem!

Tina Kinsella: Good music, good atmosphere and delicious food!

Samantha Corodeanu: My husband and I had our anniversary dinner at the piano room. Very cosy ambience and talented jazz singer. There wasn’t a lot of space though, but this was a minor issue. We loved the food. The starters were superb. The asparagus dish with poached egg had such fresh ingredients. The croquettes were very tasty as well. The mains were delicious, especially the Guinea fowl. The cream sauce was amazing. The duck confit burger was good too.Serving sizes were just right. Service was good, although there weren’t a lot of waiters to serve all the the tables. Nevertheless, we’ll come back to try other dishes as we love Toulouse Lautrec’s take on French food.

Veronica Martin OBE: Favourite place in Kennington. Well done for keeping it going at the highest standard.

Tee Girl: It's a charming spot, split across 3 floors

Aletia Neilly: Sat upstairs by the piano. Incredible menu and enjoyed every plate we ordered. Music performer was incredible playing and singing jazzy versions of modern songs. Definitely will be back!!

M M: I had the pleasure of dining at this charming establishment, the atmosphere was delightful and the staff made me feel incredibly welcome, and their attentiveness was impeccable. To my surprise, I was even treated to a complimentary glass of wine, which tasted so good.As someone who has been enjoying escargots since childhood, I couldn't resist ordering them. While I found them a tad salty and rich with parsley, it's purely a matter of personal preference. The other dishes I sampled were superb; however, I must admit, the portion size of the cheesecake left something to be desired especially with an abundance of fruit topping somewhat overshadowed its true flavor.Despite this minor hiccup, my love for French cuisine was reaffirmed by the wonderful experience I had at this restaurant. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of France right in Kennington and Elephant and Castle neighbourhood.

Boukie McBridger: Amazing Jazz vibe

Giselle JB: Charming and cozy place in between Kennington and Elephant and Castle. I went for a drink and some jazz and I was not disappointed. The staff are super friendly and I enjoyed a lot the live music. A bit pricey on the drinks and dishes but overall a small hidden gem worth discovery.

Tim Bennett: .

Floralba Benitez: Beautiful atmosphere. Since we arrived we were very well received. They located us very well. We were going with our daughter. The waitress was very very kind and gentle. The delicious food . Excellent portion. Delicious onion soup. We will return to enjoy the other environments. The artists in charge of the piano and first-class singing. Very comfortable. There is still more to continue experiencing in such a beautiful place. Congratulations 👏

Nikos Kosmetsas: Great visit!

Alisdair: Excellent steak tartare and a wonderful atmosphere in this family fun restaurant.

Irina Elena: Nice atmosphere and music

Sergio Portillo: Old Street Record is a very cool bar/venue where you can dance when it gets busy and you can also chill when it is not a weekend. They had live music when i went and it was quite nice. The band played a lot of great old hits and everyone had a lot of fun.The drinks were ok, nothing out of the ordinary but they were enough to have some fun.I really liked their style and how the place was decorated. The place is also located strategically and it has a lot of food stores and a lot more around it. It is also well located for anyone to reach it through public transport.

Sonny Pathak: A Night to Remember at Boisdale Belgravia - Thanks to Esther! Our recent visit to Boisdale Belgravia was an absolute delight, and a large part of the credit goes to our exceptional waitress, Esther. From the moment we were seated, Esther's warmth and attentiveness made us feel right at home. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she offered personalized recommendations that perfectly catered to our tastes. She was especially helpful in navigating any dietary restrictions we might have had.Esther's service struck the ideal balance – efficient yet unobtrusive, allowing us to enjoy our conversation while ensuring our needs were always met. Her positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm were infectious, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. It was evident that Esther takes great pride in her work and is dedicated to providing exceptional service to every guest. We highly recommend Boisdale Belgravia for anyone seeking a delicious meal in a vibrant atmosphere. But beyond the delectable food, it was Esther's exceptional service that truly made our night unforgettable. A huge thank you to Esther for making our visit to Boisdale Belgravia so special

Gary: Amazing place serving the best of modern Scottish food. Class act. Great service.Dietary restrictions: They cater for all.

David Kelly: .Our first time there, and the atmosphere was perfect. It was busy, but you could easily hear each other: the staff were terrific; the food and wine were excellent. Loved it.The only horrific moment was when Nigel Farage slid in and, like the Grim Reaper, crept through the dining room, grinning mendaciously through his nicotine-stained false teeth.Other than that, highly recommended!

Ricardo: Always good fun

J: Friendly and welcoming staff; lovely and flavoursome food; romantic ambience 👍I especially recommend the following dishes:• mash 🥔• black pudding croquette • ceviche 🐟• fried chicken 🐔• lamb shoulder 🐏• Irish coffee ☕• chocolate peanut butter cookie 🍪The ones that could be improved:• beef tartare was actually nice, but the toasted bread that came with it was soft, meaning it wasn't quite fresh enough• the burger 🍔 was nice but fell short of expectationOverall, a lovely meal. Thank you for having us.Wheelchair accessibility: Toilet is downstairs so it'll probably be an issue for wheelchair users

Richard Drozda: A great place to visit. Staff are wonderfully welcoming, and kept up the level of service all night. The food was exquisite. The wine and champagne, also great quality. As for the value for money, we ate drank and made merry as a group of 12 with starters and mains... And it came to just over £120 a head. Considering what we had, it was great value.Dietary restrictions: Whatever your dietary needs, just inform the staff when you arrive. They are well briefed to accommodate and will ask you.

Lloyd Melnick: . It’s the perfect combination of Michelin quality food, friendly service and a perky atmosphere, not to mention the best Cabernet Franc I ever had. Shared with a friend three starters, all were incredible. My favorite was the cauliflower bhaji, but the fried chicken was a close second

Catriona Smith: Amazing bar, wonderful service. Would highly recommend. The food is incredible. What a lovely team of staff, will always come back

Arabella Pein: Absolutely delicious - amazing service! Good vibe 😄

Moni C.: Cool atmosphere at this bar with live music. There was a three-man jazz band when we went in to have a beer and the musicians were really good. Cool vibes, nice waiters and simple décor. The only con is that the music was really loud so it was hard to have a conversation beyond the person right next to you. But we will be back to grab a bite as the persian food in the tables around us looked great!

SOFI MLOW: Lovely bar, Andrey the bartender id amazing! Very friendly and professional 🔥

Matthew Skeaping: I regularly perform in the jazz trio here at Room 43. I look forward to this gig every week, not just because I love playing music, and enjoying the food and drinks, but because it is like home from home: the friendliest, most dedicated bunch running the show you could ever imagine; all are really passionate about providing the best service and experience to customers and it is an honour to be part of the Room 43 family. Whoever I recommend this place to always return once they have savoured the atmosphere.

Hannah Webb: Great atmosphere with the live jazz on Fridays. Love the cocktail menu with its variety and nice food!

Belen Moreno: Had my 42 birthday party in Room 43 and it was really amazing!! Incredible crew, beautiful place and amazing food and cocktails. We had a magic night! The communication before the event was clear and quick thanks to Aghil. They were very flexible, even I hired my own musician. The day of the party everything was prepared as we agreed. They are very kind and the venue is perfect for a private party or to enjoy a dinner with some cocktails and jazz. Highly recommended!!

Alice Adams: We came here for a family birthday meal. The atmosphere is fab, really enjoyed the live jazz! Food was a mixed bag, the chicken skewers were lacking but the lamb was delicious!

Sam Atkins: Best music, best cocktails, amazing atmosphere. Almost like I'm not in Clapham!!

Jeff van Rens: Fantastic food, service and cocktails with live music on certain nights. Definitely worth checking out!

London Cabaret Club: what do users think?

Rose: I was a bit nervous as I had friends travelling to London for my birthday so the pressure was on! I have lived in London for 12 years and can safely say this is the best night I have been to. The security are friendly, the waiting staff are attentive and the cast give one hundred million percent. Their positivity is infectious so the other audience members are also such great fun and up for a dance and a laugh- It is an absolute must see experience

Trusted Tulip Reviews: Last night we attended the London Cabaret Club, the venue is in the basement, and it has a lovely lobby and bar area for pre-drinks before the show. The ballroom is well presented all the tables are laid out around the stage area for the best view of the performances. We were served a three-course meal, our starter was salmon for the main we had chicken and for dessert was a fruit mousse. The food was delicious. The performance was brilliant and had lots of variety and was very professional.

E Duncan: Such a great show!! We saw the Queen of Roses show and thoroughly enjoyed it. The entertainment and the staff were spot on. Thank you for such a spectacular experience and thank you to Solomon who looked after us and kept our glasses full!

Chantaille Elise: Amazing!!Great talent and food!!

PAVLOS HATZINIKOLAOU: Attended many terrific cabaret shows and never disappointed. Recent dinner at "Le Petit Chef" delightful. Great fun, lovely food and attentive service. Particular credit to charming and generous manager, Samuel Baskett overseeing memorable night.

Kyle McKenzie: We attended London Cabaret Club’s “All About Gatsby” show for Valentine’s Day 2023 and let me just tell you, this facility is top notch from top to bottom! From the pristine interior of the building, to the exquisite food & drinks and to the talented performers and cheerful severs, you hands down could not ask for a better night out in London! I would like to personally thank the lovely manager Sam who went above and beyond to accommodate our evening!Thank you, London Cabaret Club for a Valentine’s Day that I won’t soon forget! ❤️

ala hamad: Third time here and we enjoyed it just as much. We saw the "London Never Dies" and it was a brilliant show with a fantastic atmosphere. Excellent value for money.Food was OK compared to other places with shows and live entertainment and the service was great. Will surely visit again.

Sofia Holden: This experience was so so amazing !!! I brought my boyfriend here as a birthday present last night for the James Bond show with the Gold package. From start to finish we absolutely loved it - the pre-show entertainment was fabulous and the actual show was amazing. Food was really nice and service impeccable. Amazing evening to dress up and be entertained. The drinks are very pricey though. Will come again!

Paul: Wonderful show and amazing food but the service is not what you think. They were charging £5- 6.50 just to take each order of 2 drinks to a table that was 5ft from the bar. Over the night this charge was considerable. They do not tell you that they put on the bill either. The club needs to stop this excessive service charge and let customers order from the bar themselves as this is putting me off ever coming back. The show and food was amazing however. I can understand this if you are ordering for a large group within the other area but not from the bar lounge.

Preeti: What not to recommend. I am unable to find any flaws in my experience. From start to finish everything was awesome. We went for our anniversary and I booked it as a surprise for my hubby ❤️. I took the gold package and every penny was worth it. I read reviews about Harrison and he was very delighted when I told him. He didn't disappoint us even though he didn't serve us. He offered us with champagne and even came in between to ask how we are doing. We were served by JUAN. Man u r a star 🌟 🤩. Thank you so much..appreciate the work u do. We were treated with special dessert and also the performer announced our special day. Thank you london cabaret for this amazing night. Three cheers for all the performers .👏 👏 Food was delicious.. i was not sure about the taste and portion but it was too good. Thank you Tom and Tony , if i am correct for taking care of our dietary requirements. Only flaw I found was the less lights on stage. May be if some more glam can be added to the room that will bring oomph in the place. We will come again and again. KHALLAS...for u Juan 😃 😀

Sandra Vale: Considering the food is mass catered it was surprisingly tasty and really well presented.Service was excellent we were never left without a drink.Entertainment was second to none from the singers, dancers and acrobats.Just a brilliant night with a great atmosphere that ended with the DJ playing some cheesy tunes. What's not to like! It's not cheap but I'd definitely recommend it for something different or a special occasion.

Leandro Ramos: My expectations about the night at The London Cabaret Club were much more than fulfilled. Let's start with the Pre Show. How delightful it was to wait in an environment of good music, good drinks, and divine performances, but the night was yet to come inside the main hall!!!!So let's talk about the food. Every detail of the flavor combinations must have been very well thought out and organized for us to feel the explosion of eating while watching the Chicago show. And here I start by saying, WHAT A CAST!!! Right from the start, it was clear how big this show would be. And it was from start to finish... I have my main highlights... The couple Maks and Sophia are in a surreal harmony, but the main show comes with the interpretation of the song Cellophane which was beautifully done, and on top of that, the Brazilian singer Evandro has an inexplicable charisma, from his time on stage until the end he participated, interacted, made us feel at home, danced to the music of his stage partners, sang with his singing partners, all while parading around all the tables in his pink outfit charming everyone with his ENORMOUS friendliness!!!!! The show was divine, his voice so great, but He gave his own show apart! I want to highlight how he made us feel good. To finish off with a DJ... Who was sensational... We danced a lot and ended our night!Gratitude to all involved... oh, I couldn't forget to mention those who are behind the scenes of the show, who meticulously make all the acts happen... Let it be clear that without the staff, there is no show...

Claire Fairbrother: The food was nice, but the slab of butternut squash as a veggie alternative didn’t really seem to equate to the steak/meat the carnivores got - but it was nice nonetheless. I’ve recommended to friends and would go back for another performance for sure. The acts were top class! Tickets are expensive but for the food and performance, it’s worth it.
