Chef Academy London: what do users think?

Silvano Constance: High standard learning...impressiveI am actually a private Chef for 2 years and with more than 25 years experience in 5stars hotels from Mauritius.i have been impressed by the standard and professionalism of the Academy..i have done the advanced professional chef course. From the first day to my last i really enjoyed every single moments. The Chef Daniel was highly professional, incredibly talented and he really do his job with passion. All the topics were well detailed, the explanations very clear.the perfect place for a chef to enhance his level.Im sure that with this course i will definitely be able to prepare higher standard food and achieve the best for my boss. The managing director Massimo is a real gentlemen, always here to help and give good advices.Naima was always helpful, always there to welcome and the cleaning staff very professional.I will encourage everyone willing to learn and to see for another cooking level to do a course at the Chef academy LondonIts value for money

Benjamin Priestley: All the staff and teachers have been very knowledgeable and polite. The facilities are modern and well equipped to complete the course.

Ashmita C: Since I have just finished college, I thought this would be a good opportunity to see whether I enjoyed being a professional chef. I was not sure if I wanted to pursue this as a serious career at this stage. I decided to take the introduction course. This was the best decision as I learnt that I really enjoyed creating special dishes with high end techniques. I now want to be a celebrity chef….Thank you Chef Academy for inspiring me!!!!

Cameron Craig: As someone who eats halal food, I liked the fact that Chef Academy London has adjusted their ingredients for everyone to enjoy. I learnt many new recipes with the team. I am now inspired to start my own catering business specializing in halal food. I can’t wait to try the recipes out and get more feedback on my creations.

Laura Bossom: I got in touch with Chef Academy when I started work within the hospitality industry for a restaurant back at home. I wanted to become better and they advised me to do the hospitality management and food science course.I thought the place was very clean, keeping well to Covid-friendly standards. There was a lot of professional equipment provided to us with clear demonstrations on how to use it. I felt very safe in the kitchen with the experts always by our side.I am now a superior worker and working in a top restaurant.Thank you for the opportunity and the experience I was given over the six month course.

Shourov Hossain: Positive:Value

Charlie Fitzgerald: I loved getting creative on this professional patisserie and confectionery course. I had always wanted the chance to have hands-on experience learning this specialist skill. This was my moment to try. I found the chef who taught us to be very knowledgeable. They had a lot of experience and would guide us when we ever got stuck. Since finishing the course, I have now developed my own portfolio of stunning delicious patisseries.

Ursula Duplock: I really rated this course! I had a great idea to run my own restaurant but did not know how to develop my ideas to meet industry standards. I found the Chef Academy London ?Hospitality Management and Food Science? course to be super helpful! They talk you through all the processes from staff management, suppliers, stock checks, health and safety, recipe development, hospitality standards, customer service and much more!

Amy Auker: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI was impressed with the ingredients provided by Chef Academy London. The chefs gave us an in depth lesson on how to cut and cook a range… Here you learn the very best of culinary techniques which you can apply to all types of cuisines.

Eric Smith: Thank you to the wonderful team at Chef Academy London! They helped us and supported us through the course, and were there if we needed anything. My favourite part of the course was the food science! We had a lot of fun using liquid nitrogen to create some unique dishes. I have gone home with great knowledge of molecular gastronomy which I look forward to exploring at my new job…!!!!

Info Cultiva Kingdom: If you are looking to be a Michelin Star chef, this is the best place to do your training. I have had a few years in the kitchen but this course has provided me with in-depth culinary knowledge and confidence to take my career to the next stage…. I am very glad I had the chance to experience a Michelin Star standard to develop my own skill set to be an advanced professional chef.

Gabriel Mihaila: My journey at Chef Academy had been the greatest despite being affected by this pandemic which I’m sure the school has too. I think like all schools they provide the basics for new learners and an introduction to the industry of fine dining, but for someone that wanted to advance my career they mentored me to achieve the skillset required that allowed me to branch out to a different area within the world of culinary. Even in universities they require you to think outside of the box and this academy is the same. We are encouraged to self-study and proactively seek ideas to improve our skills and techniques to get to where we want as a Chef. At the end of the day it’s all about our passion to learn about the culinary world. The internship stage is a big part where you learn how various fine dining restaurants operate in reality. The only hiccup is this pandemic delayed my final placement but still, the school tried their best to place me in my first choice and I have built friendships there and inspired to try new methods to achieve different results.I have to praise the best part is after graduation where the school tries to provide you the best options for employment and they try to match your requirements and not the other way around which is very rare because most schools won’t really try to help as much. They mentor you along the way and explain to you how to showcase your best abilities at the trial shifts and how to read between the lines of the job description.I am not saying the school is 100% perfect, but I want to provide you my personal experience on how the school has gone over and beyond in getting me to where I am today. I am now a Private Chef and started my own business during this pandemic. The school is still mentoring me in my journey and believe me all you got to do is keep in contact and ask for advice when you need because I believe their passion is to help you achieve where you want to be in the culinary world.

Hélène Darroze at The Connaught: what do users think?

nuric: It's very difficult to fault this restaurant. The food was immaculate and the service was exemplary. With a 3 star Michelin guide distinction, it has achieved a level that's worth visiting. At an average price of around £220 per person, you are getting some of the best cookery and service London has to offer. Take it as a culinary experience rather than a food stop.Dietary restrictions: They will cater to any requests.Kid-friendliness: Do not bring kids, this is a fine dining setting.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible and they adjust accordingly. There was a wheelchair user during our visit.

Stefan Perishic: No words to explain the quality of cooking craftsmanship, the presentation, the ambiance and service. Ultra pleasant and informal regardless of the three Michelin stars.

sergio valentini: was educational and a nice touch . The whole experience was faultless I can seriously say that it was unforgettable. Detailed pictures of the food and the paired wine are attached !

Simon NUTT: Visited in October 2023I loved my meal here. The water pitcher was definitely the most interesting and funniest one I've seen. The Negroni was probably the best Negroni I have tasted, which didn't surprise me as the Connaught Bar is known for being one of the best for cocktails in the UK. Many chefs interviewed by Top Jaw will also agree. But I must admit that £32 for a Negroni was very steep in my opinion. The bread was served warm and the butters, especially the spicy one went very well it. I enjoyed the raw tuna dish. Helene Darroze's signature tandoori dish with lobster was nice. The surprise dish of sweetbread was one of my favourites. The Welsh lamb was tender and juicy. I loved the chocolate dessert as it was on the slightly bitter side and prevented the dish from becoming overly sweet.

s c: An establishment close to me and my husband’s hearts as we celebrated our first anniversary, major birthday with H.D London. We did the home kit during covid which was great and we physically returned to H.D @ the Connaught in December 2023. The renovation was quite refreshing and the food is still as amazing as we remember it to be. Service is still great and the Connaught as a hotel is really a proud London landmark.

The NYGalavant (TheNYG): ***-Michelin restaurant that is worth the experience

Le Cordon Bleu London: what do users think?

Ls Chan: The Le Cordon Bleu Cafe is a good place to rest your feet & enjoy a cup of coffee after visiting the British Museum. The blue berry pastry is very tasty - would definitely been better if it’s just out from the oven! Friendly Service too.

Juliana Albuquerque: Pleasant atmosphere and delicious brunch

Adam Lewis: The Tastes of Asia course was lots of fun, & terrific number of tips & techniques that reasly improve your cooking! Chef Marco & Chef Colin were brilliant!

Nikolas Cruz: I really like it and also loved it the way how they teach

Alexey Subach: Cheese and wine pairing event was nice, there were 6 kinds of cheese and 6 kinds of wine. The sommelier was a bit late and overall we only tried the first pair at the end of the first hour and therefore had to rush a little bit in the second hour to try the rest of the pairs. The sommelier told us a lot of information about the cheese and wine and it was great that he had a screen where he could Google and show us some pictures. There were no extraordinary pairings but I liked most of the cheese and a couple of wines. The building and room itself were a bit old-fashioned while they present themselves as the state of the art building

Sherry Zhao: How can the work of Le Cordon Bleu students not taste good? Praise 👍

David Ramboux: Out of the bustle, an oasis of calm and taste. Perfect

Terry Graves: Excellent service and food

Itzhak Bekerman: Excellent coffee and cakes

Bob S: We visited cafe only. Good coffee and desserts. Outside sitting in a small courtyard.

Lyle's: what do users think?

Wendy Mather: Best meal of my life and I returned over 4 times and it does not disappoint. Food exceptions, staff the BEST in london. Can’t wait to go backDietary restrictions: My colleague who dined with me is a pescatarian and they accommodated no problem. Also went with a customer another night and he didn’t mention he didn’t eat scallops till they were served and they gave him something else and allowed me to eat his portion of scallops 🙌🏻

Eduard Jost: We spent our first wedding anniversary at Lyle's and were absolutely delighted with our experience. The service and sommelier made us feel so comfortable, that it felt like being invited to friends. Unfortunately our friends don't cook as good though. The ambiente added to that feeling. Meaning the light and noise level was not perfect, yet perfectly imperfect. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves great food and a nice atmosphere.

John L.: Food: incredibly fresh and well executed. The pairings for wine and non-alcoholic options were excellent and I would recommend adding. Seasonal menu that was well-thought out and adventurous while still filling and fulfilling.Service: all the staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. They all knew the menu well and were happy to be serving. Staff treated my wife like a queen for her birthday.Atmosphere: clean and cute, emphasized the food while being comfortable to linger in.Recommend visiting as often as the menu changes!

Andrew Lucas: Yum!

Giovanni Cei: Culinary experience of the highest level, chosen vegetarian menu which I attach. A growth of flavours, explosion of taste, quality and love for the ingredients that become food. Final with two exceptional desserts that make you leave smiling. Good range of wines, excellent bread, attentive, friendly and professional service. Very nice to see the team of young chefs working. Price not trivial, but the experience is worth what you spend. Recommended, Michelin star I would say well deserved

Katie Macqueen: One of the best meals we've had in a long time. Plus, Steph, our server, was absolutely amazing. We can't wait to come back again!Dietary restrictions: They were really accommodating, as I have a shellfish allergy.

Satnam Singh: . As a celiac sufferer I was incredibly grateful for the gluten-free adaptations, it is fantastic not to have "gluten-free by omossion" as happens in far too many other places. Service was warm and friendly, and my mocktails were excellent. I'll be back.Dietary restrictions: Excellent accommodation for celiac disease.

Fatmir Bytyqi: Very good

Mindful Chef: what do users think?

Suzanne Stokes: We’ve been using Mindful Chef for most of our weekly meals for the best part of a year and rate them highly. Good quality ingredients, healthy and very tasty! The flavours are great and we often say the food we’ve prepared tastes like restaurant quality rather than home cooked food!

Nataliia Semenenko: They are literally life changers. Meals are delicious and portions are huge. You can pick up to 5 recipes a week from a really nice variety of options.Recipes are written in a simple language and are easy to follow. I appreciate additional information on the nutritions that they include. The only down for me is the delivery partners they use - DPD. Once in a while DPD delivers my package to a wrong address and I need to go searching for it. I don’t think Mindful chef can do anything with that though.

Jack Lovering: Really enjoy the recipes, makes me feel healthy & takes little to no effort. Quality is great and the recipes get me to try new things rather than my standard repertoire

Petrisor Matei: Wonderful Place, Healthy meals !

Borough Kitchen Cook Shop & Cook School - Hampstead: what do users think?

Sophia Zimmer: and they were absolutely delicious! I feel like I learned a lot and now feel ready to try it myself at home. The shop / setting was also very clean and appealing, I definitely recommend one of their classes for anyone interested in learning more about cooking!

Sara Asaria: Had a wonderful time at the seafood and fish class, brushed up on knife skills and gained confidence with new recipes. Panos and Zahra were incredibly warm and helpful. Highly recommend!

Dimple Divecha: I attended the pasta class led by Valeria and it was one of the best cooking classes I have been to. Friendly atmosphere, a very knowledgeable instructor, and importantly lots of delish pasta! Would highly recommend and looking forward to trying out more of Borough Kitchen's classes.

Lee Churm: Thoroughly enjoyed my cooking class there. I did French pâtisserie, which was great, if not a little difficult in the August heat! Only gripe I would have, would be single people having to partner up. I know it makes sense portion wise, but if I have paid for myself, I want to make the food myself. Teachers were excellent though, very knowledgeable, ultra friendly and the food was great! Very happy with the experience and will return definitely.

Joshua: We didn't buy anything from here, very expensive. However, the staff were so kind and welcoming. They even made us a coffee. Some of the best customer service I've experienced.

R L: and a full, happy tummy! A class would make a great gift or treat for a foodie!!

R T: We are regular customers but never thought we would buy coffee machine here until we met Vasily! He was demonstrating the Pavoni and he sold this machine to us due to his passion and enthusiasm! His knowledge is unbelievable and answer all our questions with his in-depth knowledge! Even few months after we brought the machine, he still go beyond his normal duty to assist us. As a customer we have many choices but if you go the extra mile like Vasily, he will always get my business and recommendations!

Mike Sheldon: Great kitchen shop with very friendly and helpful staff!

Tiago GDSL: Great experience overall:+ documentation sent in advance for preparing ingredients, etc+ upbeat overall tone- ridiculous amount of glaring from lighting- sound of staff helping the Chef was hard to understand at times• assuming they have been doing this online classes for a while, it would be smart to invest in filming/lighting/sound equipment to make it a bit more professional

The Travel Tapes: we had a fabulous night, super friendly and knowledgeable and for a cooking novice like me was so good

Kath Stott: The online Knife Skills course was something to look forward to whilst self-isolating, and I was not disappointed. I learnt a lot, and have been putting my new skills to good use. My onions have never been as finely chopped!

Yuki's Kitchen: what do users think?

Ava Bajpai: We had such an amazing time with Yuki.We booked her class because my dad is an intermediate chef and she offered a custom class that allowed us to all learn and have fun together. We won't ever forget the class and we made such delicious healthy food, it was surprising how little salt oil etc was involved!Yuki had a wealth of knowledge about the ingredients and the science behind them. It was easy to follow and I'm looking forward to doing more classes online and trying the recipes myself at home!

Alexey Subach: A great experience - the chef is a very friendly person, making the atmosphere relaxed yet educational and tasty. I personally did not learn way lot during the gourmet sushi and sashimi master class but there were a few things I knew about and was budget to start doing at home. All the cooking process was transparent and the chef did not try to hide any secrets. The quality of products and fish was great. I also appreciated that aside from the masterclass it was a great culinary experience and we had a lot of tasty food to try. I definitely recommend this school to sushi lovers, especially if you haven’t booked sushi at home yet

Roberta Franchi: I did the Japanese home cooking course with my boyfriend and we both absolutely adored it!!! Yuki is energetic, positive and very knowledgeable. It was so interesting to learn all the aspects of japanese cuisine and cook delicious recipes! What an amazing evening!

Sarah Penhall: Had a great time, learnt so much! Definitely recommend

Sarah T: We really enjoyed our class with Yuki, learning basic principles of Japanese cooking, adapting for other recipes and choosing the best ingredients. She managed to answer our multitude of questions as well as demonstrate, oversee our efforts and produce a delicious meal for us as if we were friends round for supper!

Michelle Downes: a cooking class with Yuki for her Xmas present and wow what an amazing experience she had. Would absolutely recommend to adults and kids wanting to learn Japanese cuisine Yuki is lovely and a fantastic teacher thank you so much xx

Susannah: I took part in Yuki's 'Sushi at Home' class and thoroughly enjoyed it! She made it fun, breaking everything down into simple steps. The pace was good - it was quite swift but Yuki always went back to recap and made sure everyone was still on track. This meant we were able to make quite a few things in the time allocated. I'd highly recommend this class, and hope to be able to do another one myself in the future. Thank you Yuki!

Joe Kallarackal: We attended the 3 Flavours Ramen class and it was a great demonstration class. Full of useful tips and tricks, including what brands to buy, from where, and how to prep ramens in advance. We didn't realise we'd get 3 portions of ramen in the class so left stuffed. Yuki has a very welcoming and fun energy which made the class fly by.

Aidan Akira Moss: Really enjoyable in person class, personal and cosy atmosphere, delicious food made accessible.

Alice Lecointe: Yuki is an absolutely wonderful chef and teacher, she helped us create a bespoke workshop to immerse our team for a client at work, we learnt a huge amount and had a fantastic time. Yuki hosts you at her house, which feels very intimate and special. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about Japanese cuisine.

Simona Barbieri: One of the BEST family days we have EVER had! Yuki's a delightful chef, teacher, host. We learnt delicious recipes, it was all so clearly explained and laid out for us... but most of all we learnt about nutrition, our health and so many new ideas. Kids were INSPIRED by her knowledge and the magic of Japanese culture. I couldn't possibly recommend her enough. A day we will never ever forget!!

James Gairdner: I did Yuki's gyoza class. I came alone but was immediately made to feel welcome. Great food, great company and excellent teacher. Unlike many courses really feels like something I can replicate at home. Signing up to learn Sushi next.

Jo_Grogan: I attended a cooking class with a friend and we had a fantastic time, Yuki is wonderful, the class was very informative, the food was delicious and we all had a great evening. Would highly recommend.

Leona Potter: We had a great evening learning from Yuki and eating the most delicious food. Really well structured evening bursting with tips and key information. Thank you!

Jessica Baker: I did Yuki’s ‘Sushi-Let’s Roll!’ class and it was incredible! She’s so lovely and super inspiring, she made everyone feel at home and talked through each step of the process so you weren’t lost or confused. I’d definitely do this again and couldn’t recommend it more to friends & family. Thank you Yuki!

Laura Puiggalí González: I did a 'gyoza from scratch' class, and it was incredible! Yuki was lovely and energetic, and her explanations were very clear. I particularly enjoyed how detailed the written materials were - after the class, I've been able to continue making my gyozas and they are looking better every time. I will definitely be signing up to more!

Jonathan Brearley: Great course - Yuki is fun, full of energy and knows so much about Japanese cooking that she wants to share. I lived in Tokyo fir a year but now know for more about how to cook ramen than I did then!Highly recommended!

lee ellison: What a great experience ! Attended Yuki’s ‘ Lets Roll ‘ class yesterday. Was really looking forward to it & have to say it exceeded my expectations.. Yuki is so friendly, fun, knowledgeable & has a great energy which makes for such an enjoyable experience. The end result is delicious.. the quality of the ingredients is top class.Great food, great company I will def be back for more .. would highly recommend to anyone considering joining a class 🍱🍣👌🏼

Caroline Fry: Participated in Yuki's 'Gyoza three ways' class earlier this week. The class was a great mix of hands on cooking as well as sitting back and enjoying watching Yuki the pro at work and hearing her great stories about life in the kitchen and her many many tips and tricks for perfecting japanese cookery. We also had an absolute feast of gyoza to eat as well! Highly recommend!

Annemarie Harvey: Yuki managed to pack in just the right amount of information in her excellent Let's Roll sushi class. Highly recommend.

Borough Kitchen Cook Shop & Cook School - Chiswick: what do users think?

Alexander Baxevanis: Did the vegetarian knife skills course which I’d highly recommend, the chef Panos was a good teacher, the atmosphere was relaxed, and we got to cook some yummy food. Thinking of going again!

Zeynep K.kirca: Great shop nearby, which has high quality, sturdy -but expensive- kitchen equipments. The gentlemens working there arequite friendly and helpful. However the old lady at the till/ who runs the shop is quite unfriendly, it shouldn't be that difficult to be say hi and be nicer to customers. That's the reason I give 4 stars rather than 5.

Niall Leonard: often looks as she resents having to deal with the public...

Alexey Subach: A small shop with kitchenware you want to buy. Everything inside is so beautiful. Their selection is very expensive but the quality is good. The staff is not the friendliest in the world

Stephen Savage: Went on a cook course tonight . Absolutely brilliant - well recommended .

Dan Wotton: Done the Indian cooking class with my Dad and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! Al and izac are class!

zikica streptomicin: Superb little shop, very friendly and helpful staff.

Makayla Drummond: Ordered online, got it the next day. Amazing quality, great service, friendly team. Don't buy from the big monopolies, this shop really is one of the best independent British shops we should all get behind.

Fontein S: .

Kis Mo: Friendly experts that I enjoy having on my high street. Will often research something online and go there to buy it. Same day delivery! Even if they don’t have the exact size and shape of the item you want in stock, it allows you to handle a product from the same range and assess in person. Then they can get in the size you need, meaning you can avoid buying from large tax-dodging multinationals . Win win win.

Alicia Jumman: Took my dad to Borough Kitchen Chiswick for the Principles of Bread Making course as part of his birthday present. The experience was wonderful from start to finish. Grace and Al were a great team and incredibly welcoming. Al, the chef who taught us about bread was a fountain of knowledge and a brilliant teacher. We had a fantastic evening, especially getting to eat the calzone we made with a delicious salad made by Grace. My dad thoroughly enjoyed it as did I and I am very much looking forward to trying my focaccia and yeasted loaf when I get home this evening.

Roast: what do users think?

Linda LeBlanc: We went for a wonderful dinner here at Roast. I actually had the Sunday roast which I wouldn't order again, not because it wasn't good but because my mom makes it much better. My sister got the pork belly which was outstanding, best ever!! It had great English style crackling, oh yumm. The dessert I had was sticky toffee pudding. It was sublime! Literally felt my eyes roll back in my head. OMG!This place is wonderfully located next to the Borough Market. So have fun after our before you go.Dietary restrictions: Had plenty of Gluten-free options!

John Walsh: Absolutely fabulous restaurant - Food is delicious, staff are extremely helpful & friendly - Had a fabulous Sunday Roast Dinner, with massive portions of food on the plate - So glad I only had the main as I was full by the end of the meal - I highly recommend you pay a visit in September as they are refurbishing the restaurant and we'll be closed until then, you can confirm this by ringing them if you wish!

naresh mistry: Quality food- you get what you pay for.Recommended dishes Warm Sticky Toffee Pudding, Roast Beef …

Serene C: It was my first time visiting, found this place from the Michelin guide. Easy to locate and fantastic first impression from the host till my table. Lovely ambience and professional service throughout. My favourite is they offer great market menu catering first timer like me; An extensive wine and fortified wine selections. Well priced appropriate portion from appetiser till dessert. One of the best restaurant I ever had in London. The detailed service that I love about is the offering coatroom service. I will definitely back here again!

Jose Bravo: Highly recommended if you are in London and want to try a proper Wellington. The dishes are generally very good, the tartare spectacular. The restaurant is very well decorated with a very pleasant atmosphere.

Season cookshop + cooking school: what do users think?

Nicolas Kyriakoglou: Edit: Changed rating from 2/5 to 4/5 in response to the thoughtful response from management.

Marija Ivkovic Ivandekic: This place is such a gem!Definitely the place to find everything you need for your kitchen. The staff is wonderful, special thanks to lovely chef Dejan.A huge recommendation!

Rawley Bornstein: Great staff & shop w elegant & quality kitchen items

Cain Rxybald: Knowledgable & friendly staff, good selection of made in England products, very reasonable prices and a great layout that’s easy to navigate. Will be back to purchase one of their Samuel groves pans!

Oo L: Used to be Gill Wing kitchen shop but seems to have changed its name and what they sell. Not as many kitchen necessities as they used to have. Many old reviews were left for the former shop, not for this one. It's a bit odd for Google map to allow to keep the former shop's reviews. The new shop is more modern and trendy looking.

Ankur: . It was refreshing to visit a boutique store in Islington that offered an excellent selection of high-quality, very reasonably priced kitchen utensils and cookware that actually have an everyday application rather than niche, window-dressing products that serve little purpose and cost a small fortune.Jason and his team gave us fantastic service - they were all very well-informed and patient, providing us with objective impartial advice without any undue pressure to buy. Their exemplary service and expertise made their pricing structure even more reasonable given the fact that their items were all price-matched with even the lowest online competitors. Very happy all round and this is now our go to store for adding to our kitchen inventory!

neil price: Very helpful staff!

T M: Nice local shop with everything for the kitchen. Owners are helpful and nice. You feel welcome. It’s a bit messy as the shop isn’t big and there are lot of things but you can always ask for help.

Niki Whitley: . He then insisted on repeatedly making reference to the purchase having been months ago despite that I had said it was purchased within the last month, so he either wasn’t listening or was just trying to find an excuse not to accept the return. Finally he wanted me to go back through my bank statement to find the evidence I’d bought from this particular shop as, and I quote, “you might not have even bought it from here”. Honestly, I’m 39 years old, why would I try to get an exchange from a totally different shop?! I only wanted to exchange it for the exact same item as I put the fault down to an unfortunate manufacturing fault. However, based on this experience I have now put the item in the bin and simply won’t buy anything from Seasons again. Customer service is everything and when something is quite patently faulty, how the shop handles it is make or break.Update: the manager, Jason, could not have dealt with this better. Thank you for your interest, empathy, and above all, a full resolution. I do hope the team learns from this situation but thank you Jason for showing a great example.

ITP: I stumbled upon Season Cookshop one day in passing. A lovely, open and well stocked kitchenware shop with a wide variety of brands and wares. I was unaware at this point that this serendipitous visit and meeting Dejan would change my life.Dejan is the manager of the store. A warm, welcoming, honest and extremely knowledgeable gentleman. Believing he could NOT help me I decided to explain my frustration of paying hundreds of pounds over the years for pans that simply do not live up to their hype - even those endorsed by famous chefs!! The task of finding something non-toxic, non-stick, durable and versatile was something of a unicorn.Dejan listened and then proceeded to introduce me to the ScanPan. Without “selling” it to me he enthusiastically explained its features clearly and concisely. Coincidently as we were chatting, we were interrupted by a returning customer of his who “just had to thank him for introducing her to the same brand of pans” her life had also been changed and she came to add to her set. She was elated. He assured me this wasn’t a sales pitch setup. This review is worth 100 stars and they should be divided between Dejan and ScanPan, who are both an asset to Season Cookshop. I waited 8 months before leaving this review as I was sure that these pans would end up in my pan graveyard. Alas I could not happier! Cooking is a pleasure again. Nothing sticks, things heat through evenly, I don’t need to use much oil and they’re easy to clean.I highly recommend this shop but more-so, the very knowledgeable manager, Dejan who embodies the lost art of REAL customer service.Did I say that I could not be happier?! I’ll be back. Thank you !

Borough Kitchen Cook Shop & Cook School - Islington: what do users think?

Lily C: Really helpful and friendly service. Thanks.

Bill: or lost. Borough Kitchen was good with communication and did provide a full refund. All in all a good company to deal with.

Claire Walls: This is a review for their cooking class. We went to the Applied Knife Techniques cooking class as complete beginners and really enjoyed the entire evening. The chef, Panos, was really friendly and patient. The food at the end was really tasty and participating to the process was a nice experience.

tim marsh: excellent very helpful staff

E S: Fantastic shop with great products. Very knowledgeable staff, I didn't get the name of the lady who helped me with a pan purchase, she said she was a pastry chef if that's a clue; very helpful and top marks to her.

Gillian-Louise Smith: Fast, efficient service. Brought my Staffordshire Bull Terrier and they were very kind to him. Brought a Samuel Groves Saute Casserole Tri-Ply Stainless Steel pan. Cheaper than the manufacturer's website. Had lots of useful kitchen gadgets and a wide range. Better than Divertimenti.
