Prince Charles Cinema: what do users think?

Esteban: The Rocky Horror Show sing-a-long, one of the best spectacles of London. I hope this cinema never changes.

a.m. London: Small cinema, showing older films, often awarded or nominated. They have series of shows dedicated to specific director. It is small cinema with nice atmosphere and helpful staff.

James1114: Very comfortable leather seating, small capacity meaning there is minimal noise from other people watching, and not too far from the screen. Staff are lovely. Food, drinks and tickets are not over priced.

Olly Buxton: Excellent indie cinema. Watched FW Murnau’s Nosferatu with a live improvised score by young musician Hugo Max. Excellent experience. Would go again.

Tom Maroon: Saw Nosferatu tonight with live music from Hugo Max, who was superb. We had a fantastic time, as always at the PC cinema.

Millie Andrews: 10/10 recommend to go to, it’s the only independant cinema in the west end and was so worth the visit. Saw In the Mood For Love and it was amazing the sound and screen were such high quality

Frank May: Smaller screen place specializing in Indy films.

Justin Quinlan - Main: Full on retro film experience. Been coming here for years, lover of scifi, romance and comedy. Classic and retro movies! This place has you sorted!

jules walters: Great place for a film. Old school experience.

Snarlagg theoverlord: No doubt about it! It's the most free and liberating cinema experience you can have in London! Hey always have such an incredible film lineup and the listen to their audience on everything! Such an incredible place and long may it continue!

Alexandra Simon: They play great movies, but the seats are a little uncomfortable, the popcorn a little old. Watch out for what others have already mentioned: the seats from every row are almost at the same level. Had fun anyways

Jack Robertson: They screen a large variety of films not just the mainstream ones. Great for an independent!

Daniel Elvin: Amazing experience

alex tosh: Great cinema. Great seats, well priced and a lovely bar to fend off dehydration.

Aleksandra K: Lovely retro cinema, nice bar and great auditorium

A M: Love the cinema, perfect place to watch a movie while splitting a wine with a friend!

P Bryant: What a gem 💎 of a cinema 🎦The staff are completely amazing too.So helpful, you must go and watch a film in this iconic Theater.

Seema Quraishi: Wonderful small cinema with a great lounge/ cage bar area in the heart of London. They show classic films on a Monday afternoon as well as the latest releases.

Bridgette Brooks: It was a quaint cinema with a retro feel.

Chad Greenblatt: as I would have booked closer but still great viewing! They also have drinks, cocktails, beers, and snacks available.I would definitely visit again and highly recommend.Follow me on Google Maps for more reviews

Mr P: If you fancy a trip down memory lane this is the cinema to visit. A step back into the nostalgic times when a trip to the cinema was a day out to savour.Definitely worth a visit, centrally located very close to Oxford Circus tune station.

Lukasz Ziolkowski: Neat, legendary and non-multiplex cinema

BFI Southbank: what do users think?

Jan Brasching: Great place for cinema lovers

Vishnu Bachani: Nice cinema, and the young person £3 tickets is a great scheme too.

Christine Setchfield: Enjoyed the film and ate in the restaurant

David Habert: I've never been to the BFI Southbank before although I've offered gone past it when visiting London. The main reason why I came today was that because The Wicker Man is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. It made sense to come and see this iconic movie over here.If you're a film fan or you like movie archives. This is really the best place to go to. I used to work at a cinema chain a while ago and I consider it an honour to come here, a few years back I also helped out at the London Film Festival.

Cameron Gibson: the welsh boy is good

Michelle K: Great staff here and the more notable, the fried chicken burger was amazing, oozing with red liecester cheese and Chipotle mayo, it also came with crisp chips! Their Succulent chicken thigh burger caught me by surprise as I was sitting through the latest Mission impossible. I'm a chicken thigh burger fiend and this did not dissapoint! Aside that scrumptious burger the cinema is great!

Charlie Mejia-Correa: Went to see Mission Impossible on Saturday afternoon, we weren’t loving our seats on the balcony but that was no problem at all as DANIEL was on it and looking after this for us straight away! Giving us other options and the time to go and look at them quickly so that we were happy 😊 I was so impressed with DANIEL, just the best customer service, friendly, open and approachable and just very kind - an all round brilliant brand ambassador for you @EVERYMAN… I’m sure you’re very proud to have him on your team, I know I would be if he worked for me!

Anne Castellani: Been there for the 1st time to watch Indiana Jones. As always everyman are great cinema, although the sound was really to high, a tiny bit less would be much comfortable for our head and ears.

Jake Eats: Padron peppers and chorizo 10/10

Charlotte Crowley: Service

Mike Mike’s: Very nice experience

Yxng Adz: The experience as a whole was great the staff was especially friendly and the food was yummy.

Phoenix Cinema: what do users think?

Paul Bassett: A really lovely little cinema. Very comfortable with a great view of the screen.

Ivan Wolf: Apparently the first purpose-built cinema in Britain but it does feel aged. You won't get wide-screen films here, but having just watched Chevalier, sheer delight.

Debbie keenan: Lovely, independent cinema!

David S: Always very intimate and an authentic cinema.1st floor bar was shut on our last visit. Starving as we went into the film.

Michael Wetzler: I felt eelcimedI wish to deeply acknowledge the fact that the Phoenix was open to a film in antisemitism and holocaust denial and hopefully will trigger a deeper recognition of this in different parts of the world

alan lee: Not a great film, Rye Lane. Audio perhaps not as good as more modern screens. Like to support phoenix when we can. Buying tickets at cinema slow. Why not allow free seating when there is so much space.

Theresa Kennedy: Love the Phoenix, this cinema is so unique, homely and friendly

Nathan Armstrong: The cinema is lovely, the staff is nice , seats are very comfortable, the quality if sound and picture is perfect.

Christian S. Perone: A true gem that you should definitely experiment.

Andy Preddy: Lovely Art Deco local cinema with a nice showing an eclectic range of films.

alan levene: Fabulous Art Deco interior. Historic Cinema.

MarieLou Clarke: Quite comfortable seats, very good sound and nice food options, even for vegans. Enjoyed the movie and my back did not hurt after two hours of sitting for the first time.

Ritzy Cinema and Cafe: what do users think?

Thomas Sear: Great old-school cinema!

Riyaz K: Nice place , decent atmosphere.Bit tricky to find parking.Clean wash rooms and , there is a pub attached!

James Hall: Part of the Pictureshouse Group. Love the Ritzy because it's situated on part of Windrush Square Brixton. It's next to the Library in Brixton & close to the Black Cultural Archives. The Cinema shows many Independent films, and this is one of the reasons I like it, and its located in one of most vibrant part of South London. This video shows an activity going on, Windrush Square by the Ritzy, on the day of by visit, to mark Windrush Anniversary.

Adassa Francis: The Ritzy cinema has been a part of our community since forever. More importantly the building has seen many changes to the culture, and businesses that come and go. It was remarkable to see a Ritzy customer, who became unwell, being treated with the utmost care and attention. Thank you to Manager Sean, with Thomasin and Margot for letting your community know that caring is unchanging.

Richard Palmer: What a great place. Multi venue with gigs/ films /and plenty of other stuff. Went for gig. Super stage an sound. Nice large area for the crowd and a reasonably priced bar. You do have to go to the foyer to use the toilets. Overall a good venue.

Abdul Basit: Good

Mayowa Omotola: Saw a premiere there. The venue was conducive, the staff were friendly and the cinemas were alright. I had a good time there.

Inji Ali: Great atmosphere, fri

Joe Mccaffrey: Handy for eastenders

Robert Parkin: Close to Shoreditch High Street Station this cinema and music venue is easy to get to. I went for a music event which happen in a spacious music room on the ground floor as you go in. The room has a well staffed bar, so service is quick, with a good selection of drinks at prices that are not outrageous. Sound and lighting was was good and the ceiling was high.If you need the loo these are off the main foyer but really could be bigger as there were queues to get in, they were though spotlessly clean.Cannot comment on the cinema but plenty of patrons were going in.

Leti Pavlova: Great quality and location. Great value for members under 25.

Picturehouse Central: what do users think?

Nicola Bell: There was an issue with our tickets but Luigi the manager came to the rescue! He very professionally and amiably sorted the situation most promptly - we made it in time and didn’t miss the start of Oppenheimer - and the film in its entirety was awesome. We are much obliged and will be back again soon!

Marek Olbrys: Approx

udit shar: Cem was really good at the bar , suggested me student membership. Overall experience was very good from ticketing to the cinema hall . People like him makes the experience enjoyable, very good communication skills

Yoko Homo: Luvly cinema in the heart of Soho, has a bar and food ,2 mins from Piccadilly Circus

John Stapley: Second floor. Cafe and bar. Close to the iconic Piccadilly Circus. Great pot of tea. Pleasant service. Enjoyed it.

Natalia A.: Great salads in the downstairs cafe too, lovely place to have a coffee before or after a film, nice seats and screens.

Michael Macy: A gem in the heart of London

M P: Perfect place to get a membership card for - the rooftop bar is a big plus for having it!

Christian Pearce: Amazing

Alice Williams: This a gem of a place right in the heart of the West End. The upstairs café has an interesting menu which is surprising affordable. The mismatched collection of chairs and tables add to the charm. It is wonderfully relaxing and peaceful there and somewhere to meet up with friends, as it is a space that is comfortable to sit in alone. The staff are friendly and don't hurry you along. I have yet to see a film there, but the ambience of the place is very inviting so I am sure it won't be long before I do. Worth a visit if you are in the area though it is quite tucked away so that may explain why it is so delightfully peaceful considering it's location. A quirky find and one you will frequent once you do find it.

Janet Smith: Lovely old school cinema with one huge screen 💖🎬🎥

Everyman Screen on the Green: what do users think?

Michelle K: Love this cinema! I love that there's a bar right behind your seats. Also love that food and drinks can be ordered to your seats. How modern cinema should be!

Russell Anderson: Watched the latest Indiana Jones sitting on a comfy sofa, sipping a cool ale. Pricier than regular movie houses... but a good treat!

Natasha Taupin: Great location. Staff are very friendly. Inside is amazing

Susanne Kolthoff-Callan: Lovely staff, cosy atmosphere, good food and drinks

PD Rai: . They serve drinks and light food with of course-popcorns! The asthetics look old as the screen is still covered by curtain, which tells the theatre offers other than movies, which is great, too!Now let me tell you all how I got there. On the first of June, I got lucky to attend a private screening of Spiderman-Across the spider-verse along with a GUEST. The event was organised by little known Socios app and Arsenal FC. The guest was over the moon as it appeared as a birthday gift in blessing in disguise and furthermore, an avid Spiderman-to be precise- Miles Morales, fan! He enjoyed the two hours train and tube travel to reach the place and free cold Lemonade along with 3 boxes of popcorn! All free! Two fans won Signed Arsenal kit but everyone got free scarf as a souvenir! It was a free event however like to go this place with a ticket some other time. Please go and enjoy this place, I bet you will love it.NB: The guest turned xis and told me "he had a best birthday ever"!Thank you Everyman Screen on the Green, Socios and Arsenal!!

Almona Choudhury: Exceptionally comfy seats and great service. The tortillas and guacamole tasted fresh and went down a treat with Prosecco! It was well worth the few extra pounds compared to the chains. We shall return to the iconic retro venue.

Kelvin Swang: Acoustics are great, comfy seating, overall cinematic ambience was top tier.

SJ: Love this cinema! Friendly staff, cosy and comfortable! The ice cream sunday is the best 🤤

Genesis Cinema: what do users think?

Franciscus Prins: but a nice venue.

Lewis Simpson: Cheap tickets and good screen but could do with some air con

Andrea Blanco: It was a nice cinema, it has a charming environment. I liked it and they do family discounts which is always a plus!

Valerie R.W: A true gem! During our week in London, my husband and I actually went twice.🖤It was awesome to watch movies while sitting comfortably in sofas with a blanket, table for our snacks and even an ottoman for our feet. The perfect middle between watching a movie in the comfort of your home and going to see it in theaters.People frequenting the place are usually movie buffs and not the annoying loud crowd you often deal with in cinemas, thankfully.I also love that they often show older movies or have theme nights. It's such a fun ambiance.😍The only disappointment was that some of the candy in the self-serve section wasn't too fresh. Otherwise, I just wish there was a Genesis cinema in my town! We'll definitely miss it.🍿🎬

Zhiyuan Ma: One of the best independent cinemas around, especially in an east London location

Max Chiaramonte: Nice seats, wonderful staff, great ticket price. If you don't need anything terribly fancy then this is the best place out east.

Kevin Acheampong: Went there yesterday 20th good place

Chigoze KD Amaechi: I had a good day for my first induction at Genesis Cinema as a work placement today with my crew and my boss.We went on a virtual tour experience in this cinema starting with the staff office on the second floor. Then we went outside to show where the restaurant is to eat or drink and even there is also an empty room if they wanna keep their belongings safe and sound without being stolen.
