Thomas Pettit: I just held my wedding reception here (October 2019) and can honestly say it was fantastic. The room is gorgeous, the catering staff very professional and attentive. We predominantly worked with a gentleman called Benoit for our evening who was brilliant. From meeting him to the evening itself we knew we were in good hands. I would recommend this place hands down for a unique party and the professional service they provide.

Trudie Lee: Lasting impressions: Beautiful venue, fantastic food, superb champagne My experience: This was my first time to the Crypt, although we like the restaurant and bistro. We went for a Magnum club evening and it was everything you would expect of a Bleeding Heart event. The food was exquisite, the champagne was both wonderful and plentiful and the venue was lovely. One of the people on our table told us that they often host weddings there and it would be a lovely venue for a wedding. The staff were as charming and efficient as you would expect and we enjoyed the informative talks about the various champagnes we were drinking. It was an unapologetically extravagant evening and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The verdict: We would definitely go back!

Scott Stait: A beautiful venue for our work Christmas lunch. Such history surrounds you in a tucked away crypt I never knew existed. It was unfortunate that the food was so disappointing, and very little provisions were made for nut allergy sufferers, however the venue overall was great.

Maxine N: I recently rented the Living Room for a thanksgiving dinner and it was perfect!! Spacious, warm, conveniently located and stocked with all the equipment I needed - this is exactly the sort of location I’ve been looking for to host dinner parties. The only downside was having to leave in somewhat of a rush at 11pm when people were still chatting and eating, but if you were to book the place earlier and for longer this wouldn’t be an issue. Would absolutely recommend it and will be back!

Georgia N: This venue is absolutely superb!!! We had my sister and her husband’s baby shower here and could not have asked for more. The venue was so versatile and all of our guests said how much they loved it. The hosts are wonderful and allowed me to pop by before hand to visit and see the space. There are lots of chairs, tables and all kinds of other amenities to use. It’s a fantastic blank canvas for any kind of event. They also have an incredible picture hanging system which we found very useful to hang some of our decorations. Will absolutely be returning for future parties. Top notch!

Ajrienne K: The living room is a great venue for intimate gatherings. From my own experience it was easy to decorate. It was presented clean and tidy before our booking and I would choose the living room again.

Tina Udemba: I threw a bridal shower for my sister at the living room place. The place was very nice, clean and cosy. It was exactly the intimate space that we needed and everyone was able to relax and have fun.

Lucy Gould: A great space and worked perfectly for our party. It was great to have the two separate areas and the venue was well equipped with tables, chairs etc which made setting up super easy.

Lorna Green: We used this venue last month when our charity needed somewhere to carry out a bit of recording prior to our online fundraising event. It was excellent, nice location, spacious and clean. The crew and artists felt relaxed in the space under the current circumstances. A number of us were keen to consider future alternative usage for the space. Good value for money.

Ali Tremasi: I recently held my daughter’s first birthday party here and the hall itself is very beautiful and pleasant. They require a £250 deposit to secure a date and then its £70 an hour for the hire. I initially booked the venue for 5 hours (3pm to 8pm) for a Saturday afternoon/evening. I had paid the deposit well in advance, as i wanted to secure the date. £250 is allot of money and when one pays this amount they are serious about hiring! The day before the event i called the venue and wanted to confirm that i was going to pay for the 5 hours hire, to which the staff member replied that they had cancelled the event as i did not pay them earlier and claimed that they tried to contact me and i avoided them. Having invited approximately 100 people to the event already, i was completely in shock and worry about the venue cancelling the event. I completely understand that they had a system where they require all payments in full before the actual event, having paid the deposit of £250, and making the payment a day before for the hourly rate, i was doing exactly that. The manager told me that he had cancelled the care taker and another member of staff who were due to come in on the day of the event. In all honesty i had to beg and cry to the operations manager to allow me to carry on with the event! After begging and literally crying over the phone the staff member eventually decided to show me some mercy and make small efforts to get the event back on. He called me back after 6 minutes and told me that he had found someone that could be available to work on the day. However i had to start the event from 2pm and finish at 7pm now. I had no option but to agree, and in result this too also put me in a bad position, as i now had to notify all my guests for the time change. The event eventually happened, but during the whole event the caretaker kept popping up and reminding me about the time and how everything needs to be finished by 7pm. It was a constant nuisance and i just dealt with it throughout the entire event. My whole experience of celebrating my daughters birthday felt like i had a stone on my head! It was tarnishing my experience! To sum up everything, the staff did not hesitate to really show lack of compassion, understanding, support or even decency to give comfort to a father who just wanted to celebrate his daughter’s birthday at their venue. I had to beg them. They made me feel quite low and scared, and if i had not shown this emotion, they would have definitely cancelled! This venue needs new staff that have some decent customer service skills and compassion towards people. I didn’t take my deposit back and let the staff keep it, as tbh, I didn’t want the caretaker to screw me over in the actual event! Do not hold personal events here! Staff are average!

God Blessed: The venue name "Grand Palladium" is truly fitting to the interior decor of this place or should I say "Palace". Absolutely beautiful with ample space to suit any Wedding, Christening or grand luxurious celebration of elegance. A hidden gem in Forest Hill.

Always available for a call, making sure we had all our vendors but also were able to source vendors if needed. Reza thanks so much man, special shout out to Zac as well, so so so helpful, really appreciate you bro honestly thanks so much. Car parking spaces were not an issue at all. We took our photos on the golf course which was a nice open space. We had 3 outfit changes so the bridal room upstairs was perfect for that. We made us of the outdoor space and space to the side of the venue as well. These guys know how to make sure everything goes to plan and will go the extra mile to ensure that. Thank you again guys. Rashma Khanom: Worst experience ever! The waiters started to physically fight in the middle of the event and in the kitchen. As well as the owner being verbally rude to the guests and families. All guess left with food poison after the even and was constantly throwing up. Never book this place again ! Very unprofessional. Very nice before booking with them but that character changes once they got the money in their pockets!

Mebz Uddin: First time I have attended this venue and it was for a wedding. Venue is OK for a small wedding 300-400, possibly could accomodate up to 500 but would be cramped. Situated in a retail park so parking not an issue.
