Meridian Chinese Studies: what do users think?

Valeria F: Great school and teacher

Peter Morton: Very engaging and experienced teachers who work hard to help you improve your Mandarin, I've taken various classes before, and have made by far the best progress with Meridian.

Juan Castells: Good school, with a strong emphasis in writing characters. Lots of reading and comprehension exercises as well. Small classes are great to stay focused and have much more attention from the teacher.

Andrew Brown: I have been studying at Meridian Chinese now for nearly 3 months and so far am very impressed with the classes. The materials provided are well structured and the class sizes are small which gives us plenty of opportunity to practice speaking. Since starting the course I feel we have made significant progress in learning how to write the HSK1 characters and comprehending the subsequent sentences. Overall, I really enjoy the teaching style and can highly recommend!

Nicholas Beale: Meridian Chinese is a great school to learn with, I have been learning Mandarin for a year and a half with them and my progress has come a long way. The classes they offer are very progressive and structured, towards the learning of characters & grammar and development in reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. The staff and class room environment is very friendly and enjoyable. The structure of the course combined with self study provides a great foundation and a guided learning path to learn Mandarin.

Natalie Tuckwell: Mnemonics

SF P: This is an amazing place to study the language. Progress is made quickly because the system used is extremely effective and clear, and classes are fun and rewarding. Much recommended!

Florian Le Fourn: I haven't tried any other place in London and, there's no reasons for me to do so. Classes are small which helps with learning. It is all headed by a very motivated teacher. I'm there twice a week and, it's totally worth it. I can see huge progress within a couple of months.I won't lie though.. Learning Chinese does require a lot of study time at home. Two hours of class do require about two hours of home study over the week.

Tom H: Good teaching method of starting with a limited quantity of vocabulary and phrases and using repeatedly so they stick in your mind. Also good for teaching characters. However I did not like the teaching method of encouraging fast reading without understanding. But generally a very good introduction to mandarin.

Kim Berry: Just completed Cantonese Beginner Level 1. Thanks Eunice for being an excellent teacher. Loved the small class sizes, interactive lessons and technology-aided homework/revision aids.

Denice Wong: Had such a wonderful time learning Korean Beginner Lv 1 with LingoClass. The classes are nice and small so there is lots of focus on individual work and proper pronunciation. Suran ssaem was an amazing teacher and made all exercises really fun! 감사합니다 !

Tres Bla: I've had a lot of fun learning Japanese with LingoClass. Our teacher, Mika, is great. The pace of learning is just right, she gives us just enough of a push without it ever becoming too stressful. My classmates have been great too, everyone's really motivated to learn and it's a nice atmosphere, we help each other. I would recommend LingoClass to anyone looking to learn Japanese. Also, there is a great selection of tea and biscuits, big plus!

Barbara Lomas: I will soon be completing beginner level 1 in korean and can’t wait for level 2. I’ve tried learning on my own in the past but being in a class situation is much more effective. Jiyeon has been a great teacher. The lessons have been both informative and fun.

Deeva A: I enrolled in Korean Beginner Level 1 classes and thoroughly enjoyed the course! Suran is an incredible teacher and made every effort to make sure we understood each lesson as well as planned fun activities for us to remember what we learned. 감사합니다!! Clarice Chin: Enjoyed my beginner level 1 Japanese class so much. Mika sansei is very supportive and the lessons are all lively and interactive. I'm so looking forward to my level 2 class to begin!

Yumeng WANG: . Recommend it if you consider an in-person Japanese/Korean class.

Antonio Sans: that explained things in an easy to understand way and really made us feel welcome from day 1, great modern facilities, and a great overall learning environment, which even includes lessons being recorded if you are unable to attend! Highly recommended! Can't wait for level 2!

Katrina Soutar: Teachers were excellent. All my teachers were so good at their jobs and made the course fun! Generally the course was good. After beginner, I didn't like the course content as much as you had to learn more characters instead of just pinyin. I found the company could be unfair to online students eventhough we paid the same amount of money. They also have strange rules about whether you can get a lesson recorded or not if you cannot make the lesson.

Chris Pancutt: completed Cantonese Beginner Level 1, and I am so so happy with my decision to choose to learn with LingoClass.I really didn't think I'd learn as much as I've been able to with these classes! Each lesson is fun, productive, and not only am I learning the language, I'm also learning the culture as well.Thank you to LingoClass, my classmates, and especially our teacher Zoe for making the classes fun and easy to learn with! I can't wait for Level 2!!

Sophie: I have just finished Level 1 Japanese at LingoClass. I would highly recommend this language school. The teachers are so helpful and supportive and the lessons are very well organised. A special thanks to Mika, Ayako and Livia who have been great! I am looking forward to Level 2 😊

Nana Takahashi: I truly think that I made a good decision to learn Korean here in LingoClass! My teacher Suyeon is always so welcoming and supportive and my classmates are all nice and likeminded people that I literally look forward to going to the class every Monday. Even though learning Korean itself is very fun, I believe that the wonderful environment of my classroom has definitely pushed up my motivation for learning! 감사합니다!!

hellosepi: Our teacher Suyeon, has been nothing but a delight and so encouraging! She has made learning so fun and can't wait to continue :

Lucia Fioravanti: I absolutely love this school, everyone is super friendly, classes are just the right size to have enough 1:1 with your teacher and great interactions with your fellow students and my teacher Suyeon is incredible! 😍

James: Mika, Ayako and Livia are all incredibly kind, hardworking people with a fantastic passion to help those wanting to learn such beautiful languages. I've had great time and look forward to learning more 😊

Holly Parker: I love lingoclass! Genuinely such a nice friendly community and you don’t feel embarrassed when doing pronounciation! Can’t wait to do Japanese Beginner Level 2!

Fiona Mackillop: I'm just about to complete level 1 japanese and liked it so much continuing with level 2 : Erina is a great teacher. learning the culture as well as language was important and the course deals with both

George Tempest: Brilliant

Matthew Wise: I really enjoyed the Korean Beginner Level 1 class with Chanhee Noh. It was a really fun class, very interactive with a focus on pronunciation and gaining confidence speaking. Chanhee got us speaking to each other confidently in no time! Looking forward to the next class. 감사합니다 !!

Laetitia Carbone: I am about to finish the Korean Beginner Level 1 with Joy 선생님 and I am so so happy with this course!! These past weeks we focused a lot on pronunciation and sounds, which very much helped with memorising vocabulary and easy sentences. Every week we would engage with a new topic, but never without revising what was done the week prior, to keep our memory up to date! Homework and the material provided was always fun and the perfect way to consolidate new information, and the teacher always made sure to leave us notes and comments on our work. Also, the environment in the school and in class was super friendly and encouraging, and it made me feel very safe, even while making mistakes!I can’t wait to start the Beginner Level 2 and keep on learning!감사합니다 LingoClass!!

Anna Sobetska: .I am so eager to start the Beginner level 2! Cannot wait!

ZHANG Xiao Ai: The entrepreneurship courses taught by teachers Claire and Yolanda gave me a lot of new ideas and corrected my past misconceptions. The two teachers have different teaching styles, but both are very selfless and patient, constantly providing different new ideas for students to think and discuss. The teachers are also very concerned about our learning progress and difficulties, and often give us encouragement and guidance. Although the assignments in this course were a little stressful, they were very practical and interesting, allowing us to apply the concepts we learned, such as admissions, pricing, course scheduling, etc., to real problems and situations. In addition, the students in this course are also great. We learn from each other, help each other, and cheer together, forming a good learning atmosphere. I feel very happy, have a sense of accomplishment and gain after taking this course. Thank you Claire and Yolanda!

Ashlen Weng: It is the fifth year since I started my own business. As a one-person company, I am most afraid of encountering problems and having no boss to ask. By chance, I saw Claire and Yolanda’s education entrepreneurship course starting! This is exactly what I need! It happened so quickly. Sign up by swiping your card!In the 5-month course, two teachers taught us step by step how to set up a website! The mindset given in each class was simply enlightening. It gave me a lot of boss’s thinking, made me think from someone else’s perspective, and also answered the doubts I had had for many years. !Moreover, the Q&A in class is basically a wishing well. As long as you ask a question, the two teachers will respond immediately! The matter is solved! Through the teacher's method, I found my administrative director, and I also learned about the artists around me. The team leader is basically an IT expert. At the end of the course, I also have a small team! I can finally give out red envelopes during the Chinese New Year this year! YA!In addition to the two teachers, the teachers in the group are also experts. Everyone’s website is great! If you encounter problems in the group, everyone will help without any secret! If you are a one-person studio, you are also determined to start an education business. If you continue to walk on the road and want to have a broader and smoother road, it is highly recommended to sign up for Claire and Yolanda's education entrepreneurship course! After 5 months of hard work, looking back, you will definitely find that you have made a big step forward without knowing it!

Mia Kochavi: A welcoming environment, fun classes and great teachers!

Chloe Gallais: The class was amazing. Everyone was very friendly. Our teacher was already ready to answer every kind of questions any of us hadWe learnt a lot about the language and the culture

Oscar Wong: I have been a student there for Japanese Beginner Level 1 and 2, both teachers were superb, even when idiotic questions were raised over time, they have shown great patience and understandings. The facilities and textbooks are well thought, and lessons are designed to an excellent standard. I now, have applied for my next course and looking forward for the lessons to begin. Thank you for the educations, happiness and friendships.

Moritz Fritzsche: Fantastic entry level Mandarin class!Class set-up is quite interactive allowing for the right level of speaking and listening exercises. Homework is provided online and reviewed by teacher every week to ensure all students could follow the content. Our teacher Candice does a superb job and keeps the lessons fun and engaging. Definitely recommended!

Rochelle Angelie: I enrolled in the Korean Beginner class and it was a delight to learn from a very good teacher 여진 선생님! The classes are very informative and I enjoyed a great time with my classmates. The location is also accessible and the many restaurants around the site is a plus! London School of Business Chinese: what do users think?

Adrian Widdowson: Fantastic learning experience! Recommended!

Peter Su: My overall experience has been very positive. It's a small circle of no more than 6 people. The advantage with that is it's more of a intimate class setting, so the teachers can make time with each person. Especially the teacher Daisy, is very good. She shows patience and energy when in class, and it's always a joy when you say something right she gives your a bright joyful gleaming smile. And of course when you get things wrong they have all the patience in the world with you. What's also nice compared to the usual class room setting and teaching style, they make it more interactive with play cards and practising with other students in the room. Overall highly recommended! For all levels.

Vesperskink8 (Vesperskink8): Great for first timers like me. Learning basic Mandarin in a relaxed and informal atmosphere that is not too fast paced.

Yamy Wright: The teacher is amazing and teaches well.

Fiona Fu: Really enjoy my Chinese learning experience from this school.

Alex Harris: Daisy is an excellent teacher and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is learning Chinese. In my experience, her lessons are more interesting, enjoyable and useful than any others that you'll find in London. Totally worth it!

Jamie Hay: If you’re looking to Learn Mandarin in London, I’d recommend you look no further than London School of Business Chinese. My teacher, Daisy has been very patient and very professional whilst teaching me. She makes learning fun and is very thorough in explanations.
