Big Chill Brick Lane: what do users think?

Akram abu-oun: We had our work Xmas party at the big chill and was really impressed with the service received. Everything was as agreed and more, the team took the time to decorate the venue for us which was a nice surprise and touch. Throughout the night the bar staff and security were very accommodating and the biggest compliment I can give is that all my colleagues were congratulating me for organising a great Xmas party! Thanks again guys and hopefully see you next year!
Response: Hey Akram thanks so much for the review, we LOVED hosting your party and so glad that everyone enjoyed. Really looking forward to welcoming you all back in the new year 🎉❤️

Daniel Garcia: Nice burgers and nice atmosphere. This was my second time there, but the first one ordering food. It is usually crowded, but not at Spaniards lunch time (early dinner for Britons). They have some kind of “happy meal package” quite convenient if you want your meal with a refreshing soda or juice (not my case). Even otherwise, it is not too expensive. A good option, among others, in the neighbourhood.
Response: Thanks Daniel glad you enjoyed the food. 🙂

Keri Beal: Bar was pretty slow to be served, food was pretty quick to come. Good was very nice but the burger was a tad on the small side.
Response: Hey Keri sorry for the slow bar service. Its been super busy lately! Thanks for the feedback we will share it with the team. x

Silvia Borri Dragoni: I went to Big Chill last night and I really loved it. Ema suggested some very nice cocktails that we enjoyed a lot. The food was very tasty as well and the place is much fun. Will definetely come back.
Response: Thanks Silvia, so happy to see you enjoyed the cocktails and food! Come back and see us again soon 😘

Elizabeth Bontamaba: I’ve been coming to big chill for the past couple weeks and have no bad word to say about the bar. I look forward to going there on nights out and especially enjoy the wonderful customer service from Rachel and Luis. Rachel makes the best Watermelon Gin Pitcher and Apricot Smash and is very friendly and welcoming. Similarly Luis makes the best Pon de Punch and is also very welcoming. Really enjoyed the customer service I received and other bars could learn from them!
Response: Hey Elizabeth thanks so much for your great review. Rachel, Luis and team love reading these reviews and so good to see you come regularly. We have a new cocktail menu going live soon, and I am sure some new favourites you will enjoy 🍹

Fabio Russolillo: Great bar , both drinks and food were great, the fire-bomb chilli beef is a must if you choose snacks
Response: If you love the firebomb chili you should try the chilli con cheese burger next time yummm 😋

American Bar: what do users think?

Lorena Maccioni: I loved the live music and the salmon selection. There was a very nice atmosphere and I had good vibes. The salmon selection was very tasty and fresh. I had a mocktail with rosemary and lemon that was delicious! Thank you for today we had an amazing appetizer at your American Bar before the dinner at Gordon Ramsay restaurant.
Response: Dear Lorena Maccioni, This is a fantastic review, thank you for sharing your experience. Your wonderful compliments will be passed to both the American Bar and chef team, who took such good care of you. We hope to welcome you back again very soon. With best regards, Debra Patterson, Quality Leader

Greg Beldock: Historic bar in the Savoy…walking through the entrance and seeing all the pictures of years gone by and the amazing company that have also graced the same space make it feel even more special. Be ready to spend minimum 20 pounds for a cocktail…albeit delicious.
Response: Dear Greg Beldock, The American Bar is indeed very special and all of us who work there understand what a privilege it is to work in a place where so many illustrious guests and ex-bar staff have worked, over the many years. We are delighted you enjoyed your visit and hope to welcome you back again in the future. With best regards, Debra Patterson, Quality Leader

piglet1967: A wonderful treat, relaxing in a warm friendly and cosy milieu. Lovely drinks and a mixology dream. And those small but so important things....that makes you feel special....so sad that you cant eat a matching dinner without leaving the building.

Vivien Conacher: Service and cocktails absolutely lovely, but I have to say (personal opinion here) the aesthetic feels cheap with the carpet and textured wallpaper taking their cue from a cineplex, when this space should really be the epitome of London elegance and style.
Response: Dear Vivien Conacher, We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your cocktails and the service. We are sorry you are not so keen on the decor, but we are very careful to make sure that any decoration is in-keeping with the original Art Deco style of one of London's oldest cocktail bars. With best regards, Debra Patterson, Quality Leader

jody steere: Use to be a great place to take people from out of town or to grab a drink before a show, use to be Art Deco, but now it’s remodeled and it’s like every other nice overpriced bar- nothing special. Go to Dukes for a Bar with character, The Savoy has lost all charm.
Response: Dear jody steere, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We are sorry you feel this way, but wish to assure you that we have changed very little in the bar, as we understand the importance of retaining the original features and Art Deco design. With best regards, Debra Patterson, Quality Leader

Wumi Olukoya: One of favourite bars in London and rightfully so. Classy Amazing customer service Intricately created cocktails The best mixologists in town And just all round lovely ambience.
Response: Dear Wumi Olukoya, Your five star review of the American Bar is wonderful, thank you and we hope to see you again soon. With best regards, Debra Patterson, Quality Leader

John Larson: Stunning cocktails, expert recommendations, an inviting atmosphere accompanied by a live pianist on site. The drinks were of the utmost premium quality, with attention to detail right down to the monogrammed ice.

Dan Stares: What has happened to this place? Went in before dinner on Sunday and it was quiet and we were well looked after. After dinner around 7pm the service had completely gone downhill and customers in sportswear and quite a lot of kids in after 9pm doesn’t exactly set the tone it used to. Will be back for the Restaurants but much better bars in the area for me. 3 stars for the quality of the cocktails as no arguments there.
Response: Dear Dan Stares, We are sorry to hear you feel this way about your visit on this particular evening. Your thoughts have been shared with the management team for review. We do hope you will come back another time, even if just for the cocktails! With best regards, Debra Patterson, Quality Leader

Punch Room: what do users think?

Steven Anggrek: Attentive staff, nice atmosphere, great cocktails. We made an unplanned visit for drinks; the server managed to give us a table for seven people on Saturday evening! Before our cocktails arrived, we were served a welcome drink and a glass of water. How thoughtful!

Bryce Pielage: A beautiful bar with a moody, refined and unique atmosphere.Expensive, but very well executed drinks.

Rachel K: Loved this little cocktail bar, we really enjoyed the unique drinks that they created. Try the milk punch, delicious!

Jeroen Sipsma: Do you know what punch is? Do you know how to build a punch? Do you want to build your own punch? This is a great afternoon out. Have a masterclass in the history and details of punch. The bartenders are real professionals who will do their utmost best to create an open atmosphere telling you all about this great drink. While serving you some of their best and teaching you how to make your own out of top class ingredients! Highly recommended!!

Colin Gledhill: Nice, cosy bar at the back of the Edition hotel. We went on a Friday evening at 5.30pm and it was already busy so would recommend booking. Drinks are very good, all based around punch. They have a really varied selection and we tried 6 different ones between 3 of us. All were very nice with some really unusual ingredients. Service was efficient although our waiter was a little abrupt at times Would definitely recommend

Val Mas: Definitely worth the experience! A cute little bar that takes punch making very seriously. The staff has great knowledge of what they have to offer and can help you choose based on your taste. They also offer a welcoming punch that gives you a hint of what is to follow. Atmosphere is very welcoming and cosy.

Eliza Chiu: Loved loved loved this place. It’s a no booking policy so better get there early as they will just turn people away. They serve you a sample punch to start and it’s a different punch everyday. The cocktails were delicious and it comes with cheesy popcorn which is oh so moorish. Really wish I didn’t have to rush to dinner but will visit again to try more punch cocktails.

Rob Brinkerink: Outstanding place, with excellent service, great cocktails with a story and in a magnificent building & atmosphere. And it’s even very affordable. Highly recommended to check it out.

Melissa S.: Amazing cocktail bar at The London Edition hotel. Such an intimate place great to catchup with friends.
Response: Thank you Melissa, we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Discount Suit Company: what do users think?

Patrick Rucker: Stopped in here one night in December, just before the expected lockdown was to hit. This basement bar was situated just off of a quiet street. The three of us sat at the bar and quickly picked a drink off the menu -- we were all impressed with the cocktails and was happy with the variety. My drink was boozy like an Old Fashioned while my friends was bubbly and served in a collins glass. The staff truly made this place: they were hilarious and spent the entire shift chatting with us and recommending drinks that were off menu. As it was Christmas, they even had the ingredients to make us a snowball -- quite delicious as the substituted the traditional egg yolk for Tapioca pudding mix. This bar is a great spot to sit and have a chill drink with friends, take a date for a start or end to a night out, or a place to sit at the bar and pound great drinks. Their spirit selection is fantastic and the banter will keep you around. Definitely love the basement speakeasy vibe.

Aaron Howland: Awesome little speakeasy venue tucked away from the busyness of London. They have a fantastic cocktail menu that lets you explore many different flavors you might enjoy (and we enjoyed it so much, we visited two nights in a row). We were lucky to find a spot for two on a Wednesday and Thursday night; the space is delightfully small. The staff are wonderful and offer great recommendations!

Sean Palmer: Such a great cute little cocktail bar. I love this place. As soon you walk in you feel welcome and greeted with a smile. Fantastic cocktails with great recipes. The first time I came I was greeted at the bar by a great guy called Chris. At this point…let’s just say from now on I am a fully fledged regular!

M Carr: You don’t think much of it at first glance but this is a cozy place that has good drinks at reasonable prices. Between us, we tried the cool jerk and watermelon sugar which we liked very much. We also tried Solero and Wicked Picket. The class one seemed a bit bitter with a Campari like after taste. Overall, the service was good, nice ambiance - exactly what we were looking for.

Cor Cater: Great ambience, good cocktails. Love this little speak easy, packed to the brim this weekend. Book a table if you’re more than 2 and ignore the irony of having to book a place at a speakeasy. Cocktails were okay - we had the nude and notorious and the soma. They were not super well balanced and packed a bit too much punch of their main liquors but had a great night nonetheless. Live dj and charming wood beams were great. Menus hidden in the ceiling extra nice touch. No suits or discounts to be found though

Danesh Gilani: What a special find - a hidden gem! Completely different vibe from the area, this cocktail bar has a great selection of cocktails and lovely staff. A little dim, but super cozy on a cold rainy day!

Michelle Hinds: Absolutely fantastic! This venue is unassuming from the outside, but the interior is wonderfully cosy and always lively. Front of house is super friendly and always willing to make space, and the beautifully-designed cocktail menu will broaden your horizons (in a good way!) Bar snacks also available. One of my favourite places to end a night!

Eddie McGhee: I was in London at the tail end of the covid restrictions last year and was unable to get in here so when i returned this year to attended the Taylor Hawkins Concert i was more than excited to take care of my FOMO and check out the vibes at Discount Suit Company. The first night we checked it out was the Friday and we were luckily able to reserve a couch in the corner. The whole experience from start to finish was incredible. The intial walk down that desolated London street to a small vibrant basement bar is just the start of the fun. All the staff were incredible and the cocktails were perfection regardless if they were ordered from the menu or you stated a preference on liquor and taste. There was a DJ spinning 45s and our crew was in what a song Heaven with some serious deep cuts from the funk/disco era. Around us people were loving the vibe and it almost felt like we had been transported in time to house party from years gone by. I came solo on the Sunday also and though a lot more mellow it was the perfect vibe for me as i was able to sit at the bar, chat with Chris who was tops all weekend and order some more cocktails. It also gave me a chance to properly soak in this beautiful little bar and do another shot of Shankys Whip which i need to get a bottle of. All in all this is a absolute belter of a spot to go to on any given night. Unlike me don’t wait a year to get rid of the FOMO, get there now.

Aisling Siobhan: Great venue. Quieter during the week, but plenty of space per table, you dont have to shout over music to be heard, staff are friendly and approachable, heated outdoor smoking area. Got a complimentary round of shots for my birthday too <3

Dr. Cocktail Cyprus (Aygün Aksan): great cocktails 🥂great ambiance, and friendly staff would recommend to anyone 🍾

John Kentisbeer: Fab cocktails in a groovy venue!

Courtz: Classy spot for some great cocktails and the steam buns are a must have.

Chris Thomas: This is an amazing place. The staff are super friendly and very accommodating and the cocktails are all made with premium ingredients by expert mixologists. The happy hour two for the price of one cocktails are definitely worth it if you are on a budget and the full cocktail menu is a wonder to read.

Matylda: Wonderful customer service, great location and amazing cocktails! I booked this place for my leaving drinks and was very positively surprised. It has a really nice, modern ambience, and the music (which is also really good by the way) is at the perfect volume for you to both enjoy it and be able to have a normal conversation with your friends. Would definitely recommend! :-)

serra c: This place is a posh place. The drinks are not cheap😅Great decor, great space. Nice and classy place to catch up with friends. Normally you need a reservation. We were very lucky to have a table without reservation. Toilets are stunning. Very clean. We paid £30 for a rose vine and Jack Daniels and Cola 🤭😁😱

Ido Naim: Came for Friday evening drinks and enjoyed it a lot! The cocktail menu is one of the nicest around in essence and presentation and they also had a wide classic cocktail list. The deco is just splendid and calm and really gives an opportunity to relax after a busy day. We had the crème brûlée for a dessert and loved it, although it was a bit on the buttery side. Will definitely come back!

Catherine Roberts: We hosted a baby shower at the Coral room yesterday for a group of eight friends. The interiors of the Coral room were absolutely stunning, the colours and decor is beautiful. The food was very tasty, we all bought the brunch menu (£40 for two dishes and a hot drink). The service was excellent and the staff were very kind to us. Overall a lovely location for a fancy brunch or lunch in central London.

Cain Hands: A beautiful aesthetic but I’m not sure about the cocktails. Why? Well, they are served in different sizes yet charges the same amount of money, my cocktail has a huge chunk of ice in it which watered it down immensely to the point my cocktail was actually just a double shot with ice for £16. The staff were pleasant and attentive but there are better places in london to get a decent cocktail that’s not 80% water for £16

Sonia Razvi: Thank you so much to the coral room for a lovely afternoon tea for my friend’s 30th. I’d heard good things but had never been before but was blown away by the decor, the service and the food. It’s a stunning restaurant and the afternoon tea was delicious. Such incredible value for what you get as well. The service was also impeccable - we were there for hours and were never rushed. The staff were so attentive and even brought out a happy birthday plate with macaroons for my friend’s birthday. We had the best time and we can’t wait to visit again. It’s definitely my new favourite place for afternoon tea.

Connie: One of my favourite bars in London! Just fabulous. We were greeted by very welcoming staff who led us to a table and sofa arrangement in the corner. We requested delicious buttery, fleshy Nocerella olives (£4) whilst waiting for our friends to arrive, and Belu still water. The drinks menu is extensive, with exciting cocktail concoctions, and an interesting list of carefully-chosen wines. I ordered a glass of the Domaine de L’Enclos Chablis Premier Cru, Burgundy, which was just excellent (£17.50). My guests ordered cocktails which they adored. Complimentary bar snacks were also served along with our drinks, consisting of two small dishes of salted dried beans and corn kernels. Fabulous decor, and a really relaxed and elegant vibe. There were plenty of staff around who were very attentive and our drink orders came very quickly. I can’t wait to return! Booking strongly advised.

Tom Troske: Had High tea at this lovely resteraunt. A really great value for the money. The food looked and tasted amazing. They treated us so well from entering to the end. We were both very full at the end. Tea selection was large and delicious. The room itself was wonderful and cozy with a fire going. I would highly recommend the high tea. We have had high tea at the Goring, Ritz, The Orangery, etc and this one was right up there. Food is prepared every day and was not cold or have a refrigerator taste. Will be going again.

Yesenia Bannister: Coolest bar I have ever been too!!! Great happy hour prices too!! Seriously come here grab a drink and e joy the scenery.

Soriah Hernandez: I love this bar! Awesome bartenders, amazing interior design and decor, the couches create such a warm and welcoming environment. Amazingly priced drinks, especially during happy hour! If you go you must get a mojito!!

H. B.: Had an amazing time here during my trip to London. The bartender was AMAZING and the drinks were really good. I had a Lychee cocktail which was divine

ayush rai: Ok bar, probably over priced for what they offer. The interior is not air conditioned and it’s utterly hot. The staff is very nice though, however, the way they serve drinks seems very dirty. We ordered a gin and tonic and the tonic was over flowing all through the glass. Plus don’t know why but they added sugar in it.

Lisa Love: Awful place, 4 50 years young ladies thought we would spend a couple of hours here having cocktails after a busy day shopping. Sat down in the sofas by the windows only to be told that we had to move as it was reserved (no sign on table) a bunch of younger girls out the back were moving we apologised for taking their place only to be told that they were also being told to move & hadn’t requested it. We were then told to sit at a table in a very dark corner right at the back. Bearing in mind there were less than 10 in the bar. So we left. Not impressed with the old ageist guy who did this. Will never go here again. Clearly he didn’t want us sat in the window. Awful customer service. It really deserves 0 stars

Georgina Pekin: Great laidback atmosphere, colourful interior and good happy hour cocktail deals! Pretty small and intimate venue.

EReviews: This bar is very unique, I got holiday vibes from it. The seating is sooo cosy, their drinks are also very nice! My favourite are the quotes dotted around, will be visiting again 💃

Valerie Bailey: Lovely bar with a great atmosphere! Interior decoration is beautiful and staff were friendly, no complaints :)

B. S: Beautiful atmosphere & nice music. The only one thing I didn’t like is that almost all cocktails are prepared. So for a person like me love seating in the bar is not exciting at all watching people making drinks. I’ll highly recommend anyway.

Steph T: Love this bar. Highly recommended. We went to celebrate end of term at uni with some champagne. Staff were friendly and the cocktails are amazing. Been here a number of times. We really enjoyed the live jazz band. Will definitely be back again!

Daria P.: Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and great cocktails. The prices are obvious at the high end, but the experience is worth it. I would suggest having a small live jazz band, it would really add to the ambiance.

Abi Goettsch: I don’t know if Fritz’s is a hidden secret but my group was able to get pre-dinner drinks here easily on a Thursday. Super cute, moody ambiance with an artistic twist. The drink menu is based off color theory and you use a black light to decode hidden content on the pages. Feels like something straight out of Sherlock Holmes.

Kristin O'Laughlin: Come here for the ambiance 10/10 - I love the look of this bar. The drinks were great but certainly at New York prices - the vibe of this place makes everything.

Ka Wai Ho: First time experience was amazing and good drinks but this one star is referring to the British male host being dismissive and not friendly today when I was asking for a table for two.

Lester Kan: My favourite place to have a drink after dinner in London. Situated in the Savoy you can just leave your car at the front of the hotel. The bar operates a walk-in service and gives priority to the hotel residents but I usually have no problem in finding a table, especially I prefer to sit outside the bar in the foyer lounge which I find more open, quieter and spacious. The food is always good with a reasonable wine selection on their menu. Sometimes there is live music at the foyer too. Excellent service as always and Paulo really looked after me and my guest in our recent visit. Food 9/10, service 9/10, ambience 8/10, value for money 8/10.
Response: Dear Lester Kew, We are delighted to hear the Savoy's Beaufort Bar is your favourite bar and your kind comments will be pass to the team to enjoy, especially Paulo who will be thrilled. Thank you for your positive feedback and we hope you will be a visitor to our bar for many years to come. With best regards, Debra Patterson, Quality Executive

Wumi Olukoya: Honestly, one of my favourite cocktail bars in London, I am a repeat customer!😉 The service is top-notch. Some of the world’s best bartenders. The table service had olives on tap, that was lovely.
Response: Dear Wumi Olukoya, We loved having you and thank you for these amazing compliments. It truly warms our heart when we receive a review like this. We hope to welcome you back again soon. With best regards, Debra Patterson, Quality Leader

Wing and a prayer Shop: After waiting 18 long months all four of us finally got to celebrate our birthdays. Gerdana who looked after us was wonderful, made us all feel truly special. Thank you to The Savoy a treat to truly remember. Lisa Norma Sylvia and Denise xx
Response: Dear Wing and a prayer Shop, It has been my pleasure to pass on your kind compliments to the team and especially to Gergana. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed your Savoy experience and hope you and your party have another chance to come back and see us again soon. A very happy Belated Birthday to you all! With best regards, Debra Patterson, Quality Leader

Abs: Potent cocktails, nice complimentary nibbles, good service and great ambience.
Response: Dear Abs, Thank you for your review although we'd love to know how to turn this into a 5 star! We are delighted you enjoyed some delicious cocktails and hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to The Savoy again soon. With best regards, Debra Patterson, Quality Leader

Blind Spot London: what do users think?

Jenny B: Unexpected gem. Dropped by this charming bar for a quick drink and it turned out to be a calm oasis away from the bustle of the street! Cocktails were lovely (with a very decent non alcoholic selection too!) and great staff who looked after us well. Will definitely be back.
Response: Dear Jenny, Thank you for your review, and the 5 stars.I will make sure the team receives your lovely feedback. We are pleased to see you enjoyed your cocktails and the clam oasis. I hope we will have the pleasure to welcome you back soon. Kind regards, James

Danny Short: Wonderful hidden gem. Drink selection is unique and wonderfully presented. Drinks are roughly £14 each, so not cheap, but so well thought out and presented and all the ones we tried were fantastic. They really know what they are doing, I will be returning.

Yulia Bless: Cocktails and music are excellent! Creative cocktail card coupled with excellent execution; DJ created perfect atmosphere (music 😍); friendly staff. Overall great experience.
Response: Dear Yulia, Thank you or your review, we are pleased to see you enjoyed your time with us. I hope we will have the pleasure to welcome you back soon. Kind regards, Vinnie

Divya Gundlapalli: Nice cosy bar. Hidden. Great place to have a date or nice catch up. Pricey cocktails. I tried Indian themed cocktail. Not my favourite. My friend tried polish one. Good but not jumping with joy. Great service. Might return to try other cocktails - perhaps classic than the country theme. Love the atmosphere.

mithun suresh: Very good ambience. Excellent host. Variety of Cocktails are good too. Cozy place for a hangout.
Response: Dear Mithun, Thank you or your review, I will make sure the team receives your lovely feedback. We are pleased to see you enjoyed your time with us. I hope we will have the pleasure to welcome you back soon. Kind regards, Vinnie

Monica Macovei: Very cozy, nice music, super tasty cocktails!! The staff is very friendly and niceThey have a great variety of cocktails to choose from 🙂

arnau casals sarrà: We found a hidden gem here! Amazing bar inside the hotel with very tasty cocktails inspired in different places around the world. I thought it would be a busy place but it was quite calm. Service is outstanding and prices are decent. A big shout out to the DJ! I really loved the music, I believe it was very appropriate as matched perfectly with the atmosphere there. I totally recommend this place, specially if you want to surprise your date ;)

Friendly Society: what do users think?

B S (QueenBRani): Really great gay bar in Soho, with great music but which was too loud, made it hard to have conversation with others in the bar. The bar is very beautifully decorated and low lighting, giving it a comfy atmosphere.

Kacey: Lovely bar with music & a DJ. The staff are friendly and give great service! I purchased the same drinks which came to £14.10 and then after I purchased the exact same drinks again and the total came to £15.10, I’m not sure why I was charged more for the same drinks. Overall this bar has a lovely atmosphere, great staff, & a fabulous vibe to it!

Jonathon Baker: I have been going to this bar for 17 years now and the place is like a beautiful bubble of joy and happiness. The people are friendly, the music is on point and the decor is another level of the good kind of crazy. I will keep going back to this place as it always makes me feel great! I highly recommend!

Terry Chisholm: My favourite night out in Soho. Everything about the vibe, the style, the crowd, the tunes and booze is spot on fabulous! Dance with strangers and make new friends in this truly Friendly Society.

leigh yates: Lives up to its name! Just had one of the best nights ever, brilliant atmosphere, amazing cocktails, funkiest decor to match the playlist

Daniel Bracho: Love the decorations, bar tender was really nice and prepared a great cocktail. Nice music as well

The Nest: what do users think?

Austin Walker: The Nest is a cozy cocktail bar nestled atop of the Treehouse Hotel that offers stunning panoramic views of London and. Outside of the views and tasteful aesthetics, you’ll find a variety of creative, locally sourced cocktails to choose from along with a range of delicious small bites to further satiate your visit. Indoor and outdoor seating is available - the inside decor of the Nest resembles a leafy oasis drawing homage to its namesake. The Neat is a great option for a variety of occasions but most notably, a vibe. Be mindful to book a reservation in advanced especially if you’re looking to secure space on a weekend. The Nest is free on Monday’s - that’s my personal recommendation to enjoy this experience.
Response: Dear Austin, thank you for your lovely feedback. Looking forward to see you soon!

Tigershout: Not good. Positives: - The venue & views are both lovely. We went in the evening and it was magical. - Cocktails hit & miss but I enjoyed mine (house sour). - service is fine, if a little slow. Cons: - The wine is subpar. - The food is truly abysmal. We were the only ones eating & we see why. I would not recommend anything we ate (brie bites, scallops, cauliflower, antipasti board). Go for an evening drink for a photo op, otherwise do not even touch the food & better wines elsewhere.
Response: Dear Tigershout, thank you for taking time to share your comments from your recent visit. I am sorry to read that you did not enjoy food selection, and I am very surprised with your comments, as those dishes you named are the best selling ones. If you would have any additional comments, please do not hesitate to contact directly to wiktor.bogdanski@treehousehotels.com. Have a great day.

Freya Somerville: Was quite disappointed with the nest. We had booked a table of 10 but were all squeezed around a smaller table because of the weather which we understood. However, the cocktails were not good. We ordered a Bloody Mary and it was very watery (see photos), when we asked for more tomato juice to make it less watery they did this but the tomato juice itself was watery and weirdly sweet. The other cocktails were ok but nothing special. The food was very expensive (£27 for a chicken Caesar salad).

Mada Alhassan: They have an amazing view over London. The outside seating area has a heating but it can be very cold and windy. The indoors area is relatively small. They have hot & cold drink also some snacks
Response: Dear Mada, I'm glad to know you enjoyed our venue in the best possible way. Feel free to come back anytime.

Thuy Tran: Very cool concept, pretty interior design, beautiful view of the city. However it’s super popular and overly crowded as a result. At some point it’s so noisy you can’t even have a conversation anymore..
Response: Dear Thuy, thank you for your comments and stars. As you noticed, we are indeed a popular rooftop bar, as there is no such a unique location in central London. During the evenings Thursday to Saturday we have a DJ so it can get more loudly then usual. As we have capacity of 250 guests, we never go above 200, to make sure we are always under, at least 20%. We recommend to some guest, to visit on quieter time, perhaps weekdays and during the day, to enjoy beverage and food offering, accompanied with great views of London, with music more in the background as well. Once again, thank you and hope to see you soon :)

Scarfes Bar: what do users think?

Jackie Hamilton-Smith: Had the most incredible experience here last night. The staff and service was absolutely fantastic and the cocktail list was interesting and well thought out. When you scan the QR code on the menu, you answer a few questions and it pairs you to a cocktail that matches your personality. Ours were absolutely wonderful and had such nice combinations of flavours. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and every bartender was kind, friendly and made us feel very at home. Probably our best experience at a bar in London so far and we would definitely recommend a visit here! We will definitely return too. :)

M D: Very charming and elegant! Visited on a Monday night and were welcomed with the soft melody of live blues music. The bar itself was very intricately designed with a libarian/1920s theme. The precision of the cocktails was immaculate! Smooth and perfect cocktails...Best in London!
Response: Dear Moji D, Thank you very much for leaving this review on our Scarfes Bar page. I was thrilled to hear you had such enjoyable time with us, it great to hear you liked our live music and the atmosphere of the bar. The team works very hard to create experience guests will remember and I am pleased to hear they did that for you. We look forward to welcoming you back very soon in our bar. Kind regards, Julien Foussadier

Jed Thompson: Recommended by cocktail god David Wondrich, this place is a haven. Had perhaps the best whiskey cocktail of my life here with bee pollen. Despite the posh digs they let us in while I was dressed in my walking around London tourist clothes (the crew in black tuxes by the piano were far more appropriately dressed). Talented, fast bartenders. Definitely stop by.
Response: Dear Jed Thompson, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave this review on our Scarfes Bar page. I was thrilled to read your feedback regarding your experience in the bar and the service the team provided. I will share your kind words with the bar team. We look forward to welcoming you back very soon. Kind regards, Julien Foussadier

Benjamin Bartl: Every cocktail.... was great!!! The people at the bar were friendly and helpful providing recommendations based on my more common favourite cocktail choices. In addition to the amazing drinks was the ambiance and live jazz. I will certainly be back again. Five stars!
Response: Dear Benjamin Bartl, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave this review on our Scarfes Bar page. I was thrilled you had such a great experience in our bar, you feedback will be shared with the team. We hope to welcome you back very soon & have a lovely weekend. Kind regards, Julien Foussadier

O N Lisk-Carew: This was such a nice bar. Lovely ambiance great live music and some very interesting fixtures. They also have a nice outdoor section.
Response: Dear O N Lisk-Carew, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave this review on our Scarfes Bar page. What a great feedback, the team will be thrilled to hear them. We look forward to welcoming you back very soon. Kind regards, Julien Foussadier

Florian Munz: The atmosphere is nice but there is a big lack of passion from the bar staff. It felt for me that they just had to do their job but that’s it. When I arrived at the bar I got asked if I would like to have a water... usually at high level cocktail bars like the scarfes bar, the water is standard and doesn’t end up on your bill... (I didn’t asked for a bottled water)! The staff was quick and the bar snacks (nuts and olives) very nice. The cocktail was ok, nothing outstanding.
Response: Dear Florian Munz, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave this review on our Scarfes Bar page. I am disappointed to hear that your experience with us was far less than ideal. We would like to discuss your Scarfes Bar experience and restore your faith in the bar. I would highly appreciate if you could contact us via info@scarfesbar.com and we would like to share our apologies with you and restore the faith in the bar. Looking forward to welcome you back very soon. Kind regards, Julien Foussadier

Eve Bar Covent Garden: what do users think?

Sophia Harcourt: Looking for an amazing mixology/cocktail bar? You’ve found it! I came to London solo looking for the best food and drink I could experience, as my lovely part of the world (Southwest Cornwall) has much less to offer. I arrived around 2:30pm on a Thursday. It was obviously empty. Nothing on the cocktail menu initially peaked my interest. So I asked for one of my favorite cocktails, a sidecar. Executed promptly and beautifully. I am quite selective in mixed drinks, but didn’t trust myself to choose one of their cocktails from the menu. I told the bartender my two cocktail preferences and asked him to recommend a cocktail from their menu. I would have never chosen it myself but it was divine. I enjoyed everything about this little bar tucked away beneath its restaurant, Frog. From the bespoke art on the walls, to the mainly Italian staff (don’t worry they speak English ;) ) and of course the amazing drinks and appetizer I had. As a lover of truffles I chose their Egg, Truffle, Girolles. Even they were presented with much pomp and circumstance. I was brought a bowl with ceramic eggs filled with a heavenly ‘’sauce’’ nestled in straw. Once brought to me, a little water was poured in the straw and ‘’fog’’ started flowing out. It was beautiful! The saying ‘’ You get what you pay for’’ definitely applies here and I would gladly do it again.

Adrian Chang: Definitely hit this place up for a cool bar experience, the ambiance and decor is super cool and unique! Walking down the bar there are apples linking ties to Adam & Eve with stained glass windows in the basement about them. The service, creativity with the cocktails and friendliness make this place a really cool expeience! 🍷🥃🍸 The first drink we got was the Purple Rain which somehow tastes like purple! It has hints of black current from what we can tell but the description suggests a discarded grape skin vodka, passion fruit syrup, vanilla and red cabbage liqueur and molecular champagne. 🍸 The second drink we tried was the Tiki-Ero which came in a cool tiki-like can and tasted like a rum punch!🍹The ingredients that are started are clementine skin infused Bacardi carta blanca, discarded banana peel rum, all spice vanilla vermouth, coconut syrup and lime. Bonus experiences: they provided us with a small daily bar sip drink (roughly one ounce glass) aswell as a small pot of seaweed popcorn (at least this is what I thought they said) which was extemely tasty!🍿My girlfriend who never really eats popcorn ate a bunch which proves how tasty the popcorn was! 🍿 Bigger group note: there is a bigger nook in the back which looked super cool, cozy and had a chill ambiance!

Anna SHQ: Beautiful place with the amazingly crafted cocktails. I love their little kitchen/laboratory room. Signature cocktails are masterpieces - the flavours keep playing with your taste buds and nose, highly recommended for cocktails lovers.

Hitesh Gohil: What an amazing gem of a bar.Great music very cosy with attentive staff and a lovely ambience. We even met Matt the bar manager who showed us his room where he creates his alcoholic cocktail mixtures.

Jake Pike: Decor had a lot of character, servers were very friendly and professional, and the cocktails were absolutely incredible. Has a very good atmosphere for a date, or can just relax here with friends. Highly recommend

Sandroes: What a special place.Amazing cocktail and friendly, kind and professional customer serviceI have no words to say thank you for all Staff members for making the new year special. I really had enjoyable evening.

LuHang Jiang: You surely wouldn’t take customer’s second round whiskey and other drinks orders without explaining you only have 90 minutes for the table booking. Asking if you have finished with the food while it obviously served without touch yet. All I have blamed it’s ourselves that without checking the table tine limited from the beginning and placed second round orders and pick the place to celebrate the weekend begins after a hectic week.

Michelle Couper: The cocktails are definitely on the expensive side, expect to pay maybe 14£ and up. However, the waitress (the friendly one with pink hair and a butterfly clip) was so knowledgeable and lovely with my friend and I. It’s definitely worth a try!
