Samuel “Elohymn”: The teachers are fine. They know what they are doing. But reception and the admin staff never get back to you. You have to ring and e-mail multiple times before getting a response.

Laurence Brent: The one star given is directed at the main building. The campus building on Gibbins Road is another story. There are 4 teachers who teach a multipy of trades within the building construction and maintenance areas. Their teaching is second to none and they teach the traditional way of doing things. They invest time and patience into all their students, young and old. I would recommend anyone who is interested in a career in building construction or maintenance to check these guys out.

Rosamond Murdoch: Brilliant place for socially distanced evening woodworking course... and more professional, vocational, fulltime courses in traditional and heritage building skills. Fantastic teacher and great supportive encouraging atmosphere.

Cy Com: Welcoming , clean and friendly ....staff are polite and professional

S R: Poor quality teaching and management. No real interest in their students apart from collecting the fees. If you are looking for creativity and a change in career please apply elsewhere.

A. B.: Building Crafts College, Kennard Road, London E15 1AH, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Arthuro Mejuto: Amazing place with awesome teachers

Natasha Sharda: I went on the basic drilling course. The centre was really easy to find from London Bridge Station. I enrolled for the half day course to help me become more independent with DIY around the house and this was perfect for that. I wish I had done this course years ago!
Response: So glad we helped you. Send us pics of your completed projects so we can admire them!

Kev and Rosie McLennan: Excellent course. Great friendly atmosphere and I thought great value for money. I did a 1/2 day DIY Basic Electrics course and walked away being confident and aware of a number of DIY jobs I could do around the house which will save me well over £70 in the next month alone (let alone the future). A great little investment! I hope to come back soon to try out the Plumbing Basics course too. Thanks all!!!
Response: So glad you enjoyed it and learnt lots.

Aliza Patell Ratnayaka: I took the intro to upholstry one day course and was very happy with it. I learned about the tools required and had a go using some of them to take apart the upholstry on a chair before going on to make a seat pad. The Info given was clear and the tutor was very knowledgeable being an upholsterer herself. I wanted to take in my own chair to get advice etc to tackle this at home and both Alison and Jane were very helpful. Have already booked into the next course.
Response: So glad you enjoyed it and learnt lots. Looking forward to seeing you again!

Daniel Glass: Fantastic city centre life skills and workshop training courses. Really enjoyed the one day woodcarving course. Would definitely recommend
Response: Thanks for reviewing us. I am glad you enjoyed your day.

Ragedun: I can finally get on with the housework i need to do.I am not so scared to tackle jobs around the house and thank you for letting me take my son with me as he wants to know when the next course is he thoroughly enjoyed it.

Tom Trimmins Woodwork: what do users think?

michaela giebelhausen: Tom is a brilliant teacher. Super patient, knowledgeable and passionate about your project. He always offers several solutions to any making conundrum and is keen to introduce you to new tools and techniques. His workshop is a fantastic woodworking haven. Can’t wait to go back for more making.

Alun Meredith: Had an excellent time on the half day wood working course. Tom showed is very passionate about the topic and the small number of people meant a personal experience.

Louis Ko: Fantastic joinery course. Tom is skilled in guiding you through projects with assured knowledge and light humour. Despite my tendency to slip into the red mist of a neurotic chiselling episode, he would gently bring me back into the room with reminders that woodwork should be fun. And fun it was indeed.

Douglas G: Brilliant Joinery Course! Tom is highly knowledgable and passionate about wood and woodworking tools. He shares his passion in a relaxed setting with just a few students. We managed to make some really cool and useful things in the sessions we had.
Response: Thanks Doug!

Paul Beaty-Pownall: A great course. Perfect for improving yor woodworking skills from what ever level you are starting from.

meena venkatachalam: Just finished my milking stool class with Tom and it was just as great as the others! It’s a good challenge vs. steam oval box/joinery. I’m very new to wood working and found it to be a great class to lean and follow along. Tom is a fantastic teacher and has the patience of a saint!

Alan You: Joinery course was really enjoyable, teaching skills I intend to use on future projects, really useful course for absolute beginners and anyone looking to develop their woodwork skills, Tom is a very relaxed and patient teacher, would highly recommend

J B: I had a great time on a course making a stool for Christmas. I’d highly recommend Tom as a teacher - I’ll definitely be going back again.

Access Training London - Electrician, Gas & Plumbing Courses: what do users think?

cebula2001: small place but very good teacher Rob is a cool teacher. I definitely recommend it

Shaista Sana: Absolutely disgusting, there’s no help what’s so ever with the homework’s. The only thing they tells me that everything is in online webinars and expect you to do everything by yourself. If you don’t want to waste your money and most importantly your time than please find yourself a different centre.

Steven Dopico Cárdenas: The truth is that I am grateful to the Welwyn Garden City team, who helped me a lot and especially to Brian who helped me so much in the practices and Rob with his explanations in the webinars!

Jack Whybrow: Continuous spam emails from Keith Reed at access training. Requested this to stop several tines and remove my details. Breaching GDPR requests.

David Youno: Gas engineering course at access training academy. Tutor Jimmy Adkins & Andy I can honestly say this has been the best learning experience I’ve ever had. I’m at the stage where I have passed my Mod 4 practical, I’ve done my services and installs with access this week, it has been a great journey, Jimmy had guided me so much the last few weeks. He’s managed to get me through my installs and even stayed behind with me over time just to make sure I get my portfolio signed and ready in time. He contacted head office and spoke to Lauren who’s been a great help, she’s managed to get me booked for next week to hand in my portfolio and then I’m on to my final exam soon I hope. Honestly they have been truly amazing, they understand peoples circumstances and have helped me so much since loosing my job and starting this course. I’ve spent 3 months so far and honestly if you put in the hard work, they will reward you with the best teaching they have to offer. Thanks again Jimmy and Lauren I really appreciate all your help and support getting me though . Definitely recommend to anyone with or without experience, I went in without a clue and I feel like I’m going after Jimmy’s job soon lol

Jeff Cohen: Jim Adkins Gas Training Would like to thank Jimmy Adkins for all his help during my gas training at access Acadamies. He took the time to explain things in detail even out of hours. Thanks for your advise and guidance with my Portfolio which was very helpful. I am now moving onto my ACS and will also be watching your videos Jim to help me in my revision. Very Professional and friendly guy. Thanks again Jimmy

Adam W: Be careful, be careful About access training. Believe me I’m a victim. Hi future tread people be careful about access training. Here all 5* rating are their own staff not real people. They are not suitable for a rating. Read all comments then you can see difference , then you decide want to do. Don’t believe any of their staff. All are no one f.....d . they give you different type of offer even gas course price for only £2000 and any how they will take deposits from you, you are finish.then you can see what type of terms and conditions and how much costly and how bat their training. You can find out all real people comments and how unhappy they are. You are going to be a responsible profession. Don’t throw your money in a rubbish bin. I want to share my bad experience with you. Just writing your interest below.

Sean Ducey: This has to be the worse training company out there! I am currently doing a course with them and after paying in full and reading term and conditions they have made up rules to get more money out of me! It has taken them over a month to book me into a class and I have rang up for the last two weeks try get a class book and have had no luck in doing so! They say there leave a note and get back to me but haven’t! I advice anyone wishing to do a course with access training do not pay in full so if they mess you about like they have me, you can cancel your payments not have to go through what I am! Service is poor all they care about is money! Yet again I’m having problems with this company! I have two emails from them one saying the class I want to take is £95, and I rang up and book in for this class. Now I have had a email saying it is £140 there’s been no good experience apart from the people at the centre are nice and help you but the management is so poor and do not care! Seems no matter is taken serous apart from when they want money.
Response: Dear Sean, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are disappointed to hear about the experience you have had with our company. Looking at your case we can see that the issue regarding the cost of the intervention day has been addressed. Please email us on headoffice@accesstraininguk.co.uk so we can resolve any issues you have.

Bogdan Ranisavljevik: I’ve did a course here, and honestly had no issues. Achilles heel is to read the t’s and c’s before signing to anything, and make sure you fully understand what you’re doing, before saying yes to everything then leaving negative comms about a hidden gem. Everything was explained to me beforehand, no pressure put into paying upfront quickly or signing up, would definitely recommend this place if you want a career change

Builder Training Centre (The BTC): what do users think?

Fiona Harding: Had the BEST week doing advanced carpentry with Martin having previously done the kitchen fitting course. The BTC has taken me from never used a power tool to confident with tools and able to make a multitude of things! Couldn’t be happier. Thank you to the BTC team!
Response: Fiona, thank for sharing your positive experience of our Kitchen Fitting and Advanced Carpentry Courses. Good luck with your projects - let us know if you come across any queries. We hope to see you back for more training.

Paolo Fazzino: Just completed the carpentry course with Peter Bull which was my first of many courses I’m planning to do with Builder Training Centre. Fantastic week which kicked off with basic joints and finished with a complete hand made door plus frame and stud wall. Peter was great at demonstrating his knowledge and patient throughout the course, always with a tip or technique or two to get a great result. I’ve finished keen to put all the lessons into practice but first I’ve got a number of other courses I’m looking forward to completing. Highly recommended 👏
Response: Paolo, thank you for taking the time to share your experience of our Carpentry course. We look forward to seeing you again for your Electrical and Advanced Carpentry courses.

Anthony Ireland: I was very impressed with the builder centre. All the staff were friendly and polite , and though it was my first time at the builder centre , I felt like I was dropping in on an old friend . I attended the foundation plumbing course , and the instructor Garry was amazing, really took his time and explained the basics of plumbing and boilers / radiators. We had some practical plumbing exercises to do , and again Garry was on hand to put you right, if you got stuck. Garry tells jokes , and this was great , as it puts you at ease , if you have any nerves. I will definitely be attending again to do another course.
Response: Anthony, thank you for taking the time to share your experience of our plumbing course with Gary. We very much look forward to welcoming you back for other courses.

Ashar Khan: Great place to up skill, friendly staff that make sure you are comfortable and the tutors have a great knowledge base and guide you all the way. simple straight forward steps. They have been around for years and years so what ever you want to learn they will teach it and at a great price also. I have just done the Kiutchen fitting course straight forward and simple and the tutor Eugene was great at showing you the steps you needed to know.
Response: Thank you for the review Ashar - we are so pleased you enjoyed your Kitchen Fitting Course. We hope to see you back soon!

Stephen Melekeowei: I completed the plumbing course at the BTC. The course is comprehensive and gives you hands on experience from start to finish. It is next to the Waddon train station and accessible for all forms of transportation. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn there. My Tutor (Gary) was amazing and very knowledgeable with years of industry experience. I will recommend.
Response: Stephen, thank you for sharing your positive experience of our plumbing course. We hope to see you back as discussed.

K Smith: I’ve now done 3 courses with BTC and have booked in for another 2. When I first arrived at the BTC, I was so anxious as I knew nothing about anything building related. We booked the home maintenance course first with Martin and it was excellent! He taught us so much! We then did the tiling course with Pete who was very thorough and patient with me. I’ve just finished the carpentry course and I loved it! After the first day, I didn’t think I could do it as it was hard work as I didn’t know the techniques but after the 2 day I got stuck in and loved every minute of it! Martin’s teaching skills are brilliant. He’s so patient and thorough. The banter is on point and you can have a great laugh in his classrooms! I’m very come away with so much confidence and now I feel I have the ability to crack on and do my own projects. Will be eternally grateful to Martin and the BTC for giving me the confidence and skills to do so much! Looking forward to my next two courses!!
Response: Kayleigh, we are delighted that you enjoyed your Home Maintenance and Carpentry courses so much with Martin, and also your Tiling course with Pete. We very much look forward to welcoming you and Robert back for our Advanced Carpentry and Kitchen Fitting Courses. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

Lisa-Jane Holmes: I took the Home Maintenance Course at BTC and loved it! All the staff are amazing and so friendly, and our tutor Pete was so knowledgeable and encouraging. We learnt a lot in two days, and it really has given me confidence that I can tackle DIY in my own home now, which I’m so grateful for. I’m already looking at enrolling on other course - because despite anything else, I really enjoyed it too! Thank you BTC - highly recommended ☺️
Response: Lisa-Jane, this is so great to hear! Needless to say, we look forward to welcoming you back. In the meantime, if you have any queries, just pop us an email or give us a call.
