Moat Mount Outdoors Centre: what do users think?

Bish Puhleez: Peaceful and calm.Picnic area: Open area suitable for picnics and BBQ.

Tracy Roberts: Beautiful surroundings. Having an awesome time ghost hunting!

Steve Dalphrase Woodman: Great parkLocated at about 10 minutes by bus from Barnet bus 384 or 614Or 292 toward Edgware stop right outside the parkGreat outdoors seatingLots of places for kids to have funGreat for walking and exerciseYou can access the park 24 hours a day7 days a weekThe car park is closed after 5pm but it rarely open so please check before parking inside because your car might be locked in until the next morning

George Arrigoni: The end of the Dollis valley greenwalk

Dorothy Badrick: On my through to Dollis Valley Green walk.Tatty until you hit the woods, then amazing.

Ashim Jafarkhan: Not much by way of infrastructure there. A peaceful wooded area with a small semi artificial pond.

Lucas Jacobson: Excellent proper wooded area with water and facilitues provided for a small fee

Leah Goldblatt: Such a great outdoor space to walk through. Can get pretty muddy but theres amazing wildlife and great access to various paths across London

Moty Jacob: Lovely abundant area

Orin Cooley-Greene: Lovely Greenery for a site in London. The kitchen is also well equipped with several indoor rooms for workshops etc. Highly recommend!Restrooms: Standard Cubicle blocks separated into male and female, all downstairs by the bedrooms

Damian Cannon: It has be said that from the A1 this doesn't look the most prepossessing sort of place. But once you get away from the main road and the parked cars it's a remarkably attractive area of woodland. Paths snake upwards through the trees and around ponds in a pleasing manner and if you venture far enough you'll find a nice grassy area. In fact if you follow the signs you have the chance to join the London Loop which is a whole different story.

zanna nzewi: Staff was lovely and very friendly. 4 stars given just because of very dirty jackets hanging on the bottom hangers. When coming from bottom floor i pointed out to CS the first day, when i came back on the next day for exchange-it wasnt cleared and still loads of dust on the floor. Also mentioned to CS. Also please check item size as on hanger was size i needed, ended up with small size jacket.

David Walch: Found the place by chance, the selection of items was really great, staff was really friendly and attentive, helped me find what I needed and fantastic prices. Suffice to say, I'm loving my new rucksack!

Carol Walters: Fantastic, helpful staff! Great range of gear.

Julia Mühl: Outdoorwaren zum Schnäppchenpreis mit kompetenten und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeitern

Yeeun Andrew: Thank you so much to the kind lady member of staff that helped us with the hiking shoes downstairs. She was so knowledgeable and helped us with the proper fit in terms of width and length, how to tie the laces, and other very useful recommendations. It was very helpful before our trip to Snowden!

Simon Bond: Good for out door gear but be careful that the prices are not different in the other store just a few streets away

José Bittar: Boa opção de comprar roupas baratas perto do Picaddily Circus.

Simon B: Check your getting as good deal as you think

Andy Popham: Great bargains all year round

Rupal Vishwakarma: Heya,I visited the store. It was decent a bit cozy but good. Parigna and Steven were very helpful. Good customer service. Will definitely recommend. Thanks

Emre Doga: 👍🏻🙏🏼😊

Hamed Almulla: Very good quality

Vijay Baheti: Staff are kind, I went for collection of an order made online and the overall experience was very good.

Pooks Together: Super helpful and friendly staff.Helped with items we needed and suggestions for what could be better. The store is tight but neatly organised and easy to find things.Excellent pricing and great location.Recommend for all our door clothing and accessories.

MIDHAL: Excellent service

Shubh Solanki: Dear Ms Parigna I want to thank you for the jacket you advised me to wear also which had a great price and this is a review to the company and the employee miss Parigna for excellent customer service. Thanks Parigna

Antony Halliday: Great prices, great quality.Amazing customer service, especially from Parigna. She made the experience flawless and was super helpful finding the right size and model for me. They didn't have the exact product I was looking for at this shop, so she ordered it for me to be delivered home. I bought on 14/11/23Update: she helped me returning some items I bought recently. Still the same high level of customer service expected from her. Thanks Parigna!

Richard AKA Dickie of Vauxhall: Apart from buying a few items for the fraction of the price I would have expected at this particular shop, a staff member — a young lady downstairs where the footwear for men was on display — was super kind and very helpful with my enquiry despite the fact that it was later in the afternoon and the place was flooded with shoppers and tourists alike.

tal badihi: Helpful service

Frank Lally: Wonderful knowledgeable and professional service from Jez, fine range of walking footwear from which I purchased exactly what I wanted. Extremely unusual to get this level of service anywhere. I will remain a loyal customer of Cotswold whilst this level of service is offered.Thank you Jez.

Sascha Kunze: Lots of choice and lots of ranges. A little light on climbing gear but everything else they have plenty of options. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable.

Daniel: Helpful staff downstairs

Sulla Deochsson: étaient très serviables en m'aidant à choisir. Je recommande ce magasin sans hésitation!

Pete G: Although I didn’t buy a pair of shoes there the staff really did know the rules of getting the right fit for walking boots

Simon Bond: Good place for outdoors gear

Rebecca N: . He gave me so many recommendations and was patient as I tried on lots of sizes. Such a brilliant customer experience and I am v happy with my purchase. Will be recommending this store and coming back in future.

Anurag Sood: Great outdoors store, all brands under one roof. Clothing to technical gear available. Kind and helpful staff.

Florin Vizuroiu: Super helpful staff. One of the guys helped me decide on the right jacket, explaining all the pros and cons. They sell a wide range of quality products for all types of pockets. I really recommend this store.

Faye: Just had the smoothest sales experience in a while. The guy was an absolute pro and before I knew it I was walking out with a smile and an awesome bag. 5*****

Alex Liddell: Really impressed with the customer service demonstrated by Freddie. He went above and beyond to help me obtain the right hiking boots.

Antonio Mastrolia: Heaven store for trekking enthusiasts. Good brands at generally discounted prices. Many items are not in stock though, only available on their website.

BROWN & BROWN SERVICES: Excellent customer service

Philip Ross-Smith: I knew the hiking boots I wanted to buy. The shop was pretty busy but the service was brilliant. Every store needs a Freddie! Freddie was not prepared to see me make a wrong choice on size and he made sure that I walked up and down the ramps several times, checking the laces on the boot were properly tightened and tied and looking for any movement of the feet within the boots. He gave lots of helpful tips. Top marks for Freddie!

Nataledomini: Great stock and fantastic customer services from all staff I engaged with.

Caroline Findlay: . I told him what I was looking for and he said they were usually kept upstairs, but he’d check the system to see if it was in stock. The system showed a delivery had arrived yesterday, and had been receipted in. He also showed me the screen so I could see it for myself.I went upstairs to look for the bag, but couldn’t find it, so asked another sales associate for help. She checked the system and said they had none in stock. I told her about the conversation I’d had with Jez, and the fact I’d seen the screen myself showing they had 5 backpacks delivered the day before. But she repeated there was none in stock and offered to order it online for me - which I politely declined.I was going to leave, but decided to go back downstairs to Jez and I told him about the conversation I’d had with his colleague. On the shop floor there was quite a few totes

JCR Viajero: Visit September 2023. Large store with mountain equipment from good brands. Normal prices, we did not see offers of any kind. Good service

Usman Ullah: Good selection of good, staff are very helpful

Ellis Brigham - Covent Garden: what do users think?
William Davison: Amazing service - been once for trail running shoes and once for mountaineering boots. Both times had exceptional service from staff who actively use the gear they are selling so know what you need, spend time discussing with you and are not afraid to tell you what is good or not good. By far the best outdoor gear store in London.
Michael Johnson: Great store. Great range of equipment. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. In recent trips I’ve purchased rucksacks, water bottles, dry bags, and hiking and trail shoes.
Toni Price: The staff members who helped us were very knowledgeable and helpful. The store also had quite a wide range of equipment which was useful but we have dropped one star as there was limited stock of large backpacks and backpack fitting was one of the main reasons why we went there. Still, overall a very good experience.
Joe Webb: The young lady who helped me with my first pair of climbing shoes was so unbelievably helpful and kind. Definitely recommend this store!
Rupert Glover: Went in looking for boots, had a great service from Coco. Very knowledgeable and spent lots of time going through lots of options, couldn’t recommend more!
Daniel: Massive shop, well stocked and very helpful and knowledgable staff
Ross Nimmo: Great store. This is the second time I've been in for a ski boot fitting, and again the staff was great (thanks, Joe). Nice, professional, and couldn't help more. For sure I would visit again.
Jamie Everett: Stood around waiting to be served with a boot in my hand whilst staff were unpacking stuff or just milling around. And then after that they didn’t have it my size - indeed nothing even close. And £65 more expensive than online. A fine example of a retail company making itself irrelevant.
Sascha Kunze: Large collections of everything out door. Found all the right stuff for mountaineering next winter.
Jenny Howes: Great staff knowledge of the full climbing range. The inevitable indecision when trying to select and purchase new climbing shoes is met with patience and knowledge of different fits and styles.I’ve had several several great experiences with multiple staff members. They should be rewarded and celebrated within the store. Much better service than other stores in the area.
Veneto Forever: Nice and attentive staff, wide range of products and good prices.
Sarah Bailey: Had a really good experience in the Ellis Brigham in covent garden while looking for a pair of hiking shoes to buy. Bryn the sales assistant was super helpful and knowledgeable, and was very patient as I tried on lots of different shoes! Really impressed with the customer service :)
Nuria Perez: Very knowledgeable. Strongly recommended.
Alison Beck: Truly excellent customer service at my walking boot sitting. I’m a newbie to hiking and the person who helped me couldn’t have been more helpful. I was really impressed. It’s rare to find such good service these days.
Gabriel Garcia: Went there for hiking shoes, received excellent one-to-one feedback from Davide. Would certainly reccomend!
Richard Elsy: Brilliant walking boot fitting service. The young guy who helped me was really knowledgeable and wanted nothing but being sure I had the boots that were right for me. Really happy with the outcome.
Tiffany H.: Had a great experience coming into store. I ordered a pair of boots online and came in to exchange for a different size. The team were very helpful - particularly Ignacio. Many thanks and would definitely stop by again in the future.
Amy Metcalfe: As always amazing customer service from Ellis Brigham. The best outdoors store.
Megan Howard: Hiking boot fitting was really wonderful! Took feedback from each boot and they just kept getting better with each new pair!
Walker: The ski and boot fitter was super knowledgeable, meticulous and friendly. I tried on and selected from four different pairs of downhill oriented touring boots, all of which already in my size and narrow foot shape. Three fit very well so I ended up with a good set to choose from, and selected the Scarpa boots. Also selected a great Head Supershape ski for ski instruction course I am doing. Discussing this at length compared to the touring skis I usually use and their other frontside options. Could have tried them in Ellis Brigham in Tamworth. Good end of season discount applied.
Simon Bond: Good place to visit for outdoors gear

Oliver Muir: The staff here are very helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about the outdoors.

Faisal Altheyab: Excellent range of products and service from the team, particularly Parteek!

Jay Upple: The excellent service team here make such a big difference to the outdoors retail experience. EB remain a class outfit for product and knowkedge.

Chris Murphy: Ferg did an incredible job fitting my boots and custom insoles today. Absolutely smashed it! Will be recommending to everyone.

Sophie Welch: A fantastic experience. Seb was kind, knowledgeable and really explained everything. I can’t recommend enough for a ski boot fitting. Thank you!

Sophie Sorotos: Great ski boot fitting service. They know what they’re talking about!

Claire Eley: Was very impressed with the service from Ellis Brigham. Patrick arranged for a pair of ski boots to be sent down from their store in Scotland and ensured these and another pair were available for my fitting. Jake did the fitting and was very thorough in explaining the process and ensuring that I was happy with the boots. All of the fitters seem very knowledgeable and helpful and there is no pushy salesmanship - I even witnessed one of them turn a customer away as they didn't think they had the right type of boot for them. Would definitely recommend!

Jonathan Gan: A good ski ship with professional sales assistance.

Janet: Very good - ski boots needed slightly adjusting after first use so I had an appointment to sort this out. Great standard of service as when I bought them, the staff seem to know what they're doing and take care to get things right. Would recommend.

Alex Riches: Great range of products and fantastic service from Christopher when using their 2 hour ski boot fitting service. Very thorough, patient and well trained staff. It's service like this which will get brick and mortar retail alive.

D Tierney: Great selection of outdoor goods - especially ski gear

Venediktos Kapetanakis: Had an amazing experience with the ski boot fitting service at Ellis Bingham. Ben was really helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and spent a lot of time explaining to me the process and educating me around what matters when buying ski boots. I couldn't recommend it more. Many thanks!

Atig Bagchi: Almost everyone here is super knowledgeable and patiently guide you by understanding your needs.Shout out to Bella who was helped answer questions around technical fabric, technical insulation, etc

Themistoklis Pollalis: I have been at Ellis Brigham several times as I enjoy trail running and there is no better place to visit since the stock is always great and variety to choose from. However, a place becomes great when the customer service is outstanding and humane. And that is what I experience at Ellie Brigham Covent Garden with the incredible Des & Davide. Davide is always kind and helpful and always there to listen and advise when needed. Des, is a man full of knowledge and experience and it feels like a trail running encyclopaedia every time I make a visit at the store. Not only he has understood my needs and have sold me some great trail Hoka shoes but he has made sure that I get the right insoles for the best possible experience. Thank you guys for your help always! Themis

Bastien COJAN: Great ski boots fitting service!

Julian Smilg: Excellent Service, super friendly and efficient. Twill helped me adjust my ski boots and took proper care in getting it right. Would 100% recommend.

Brian Clarke: Excellent service. Much time spent to achieve a result

Lee Valley Almost Wild Campsite: what do users think?

Survivalist Chick: . That September 2022, so maybe they've gotten a new lock since then. Also, I drove past it twice. It would be helpful is they had some sort of sign, with a symbol if they don't want to post the name.

hayley heather: Richard was so lovely and friendly. Really good campsite! Would recommend and would go again

J Raza (Flow Notes): This is one of the most beautiful sites we have stayed out of many other ones around Europe. The person on site on 02 Sep 2022, I think his name is Richard. Such an helpful person took care of anything before we needed it. Went above and beyond to look after people.Magnificently mantained in its wild nature, there is a river that floats by just next to your pitch if you choose river side. The forest pithces are also a green bliss. The fire place is fantastic. Tent pithches are huge. Toilets are great. Drinking water. There are plenty of cycling, walking, and baoting spaces arount the site.Around 15 mins walk from the Station.Just a gem!!

Erin: Please note anyone who would like to book that this is a slightly different campsite in the sense of the type of clientele it attracts. By that I mean because the pitches are so large and spacious that this means that it attracts large groups which equals a lot of drunk people making a lot of noise! On the night we stayed there were parties and music and general loud everything until the early hours of the morning. Having camped in Canada the focus of camping is usually to relax in the peace and quiet of nature. In England or at least at this campsite it is to go with a large group of friends and play music and party and get drunk until the early hours of the morning. Noted. And this is no reflection on the campsite itself which is absolutely beautiful in a stunning spot with the nicest ranger and the nicest pitches!!Also pitches are auto selected - this means some people get much nicer pitches than others- but overall all are nice.I should add this wasn’t a one off group having a party - there were at least 6 or 7 parties going on that night all very loud some with music. 11pm cut off quiet hours not observed in any way.

Rosaleen Duncan: Thank you Camp ranger Richard. Your hospitality was fantastic. Once he knew we we're celebrating my husband's birthday he went out of his way to give our group Marsmollows and sticks to roast for the birthday party. Thanks for your hard work and the upkeep of a beautiful campsite.

Richard Hill: Lovely place, huge pitch area, great fire pit with benches and by the river. Not big fish but my son had fun fishing canal side for tiddlers. Very peaceful and very well looked after for anything we needed and will definitely go again . Highly recommend and our fav campsite as enjoy the open fire. Toilets composting but kept very clean and a tap for drinking water and to wash up so don’t expect showers etc but enjoy the peace and tranquility

Erron McGuire: My dogs first camping experience...You must check in before hand to get the padlock code at the front gate.Once on site I was greeted by Richard who personally showed me to my pitch area, answered any questions I had about the area and made some good suggestions for local pubs.Throughout the evening Richard would take the time to check up on us and make sure we had everything we needed.I didn't find one bit of rubbish on site and toilets where clean. One fresh water tape in the middle of site.I would recommend this camp site on the customer service that I seem to struggle to find in England now a days and how clean it is even when it's an almost wild camp site.Thank you Richard.

Anika Sherborne: on both of the riverside pitches i booked - i spent 20mins on each, picking up the poo before i was comfortable enough to walk on it let alone put my things there! Its a bit of a shame having to be weary of where your foot lands when your trying to have a holiday! Would have given it 5 star otherwise - it is idyllic!

Adam E: Had an amazing weekend here. Riverside pitch is very spacious and you can take a look through a small walkway to the river. Ranger is very friendly and will help with whatever you need. Just a heads up that your camp can be seen by others so not completely wild. The woodland pitches look amazing too especially if you want a bit more privacy. Very keen to come again!

Anna P: We had a fantastic weekend stay at Lea Valley Almost Wild Campsite. The campsite is very tranquil and relaxing. There is a lot of room between the woodland pitches. By the river, all pitches are separated by bushes giving you some privacy. The pitches were huge and it was lovely to have a fire right next to the river. The amenities are basic, with a running water tap and compost loos. We loved online check-in and being able to purchase online additional fire logs during our stay. These were delivered to our pitch first thing the next morning. The only criticism would be that the site is not manned by staff. There is a ranger there in the afternoon for an hour or so and that's it. Some people didn't quite get the ''almost wild'' and "quiet" memo, so on Friday, there was a group of teenagers partying on one of the woodlands pitches until the early hours of the morning. Also, quite a few groups ignored the sign by the gate and drove their car straight to the pitch to pack and pack their belongings. When choosing an almost wild campsite, the last thing I want is breathing car fumes parked with the engine on a few meters away from my blanket. Maybe it's worth putting a permanent padlock on that gate too?

EV0LV3 daily: Location: 5/5

Steve Mumford: Stayed he a few weeks ago . Beautiful place just what you need to relax under the stars . Richard the staff member very friendly and pleasant. goes the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable 👍

Tom: I have stayed at this site a few times and every time it's been excellent. I have stayed in both the woodland pitch as well as the river side pitches. If you're after a more "wild" camping experience then this is an excellent choice of campsite. There are compost toilets on site as well as running water and a sink to wash up. Would highly recommend staying here.

Tony Hamre: Great weekend with good private pitches

michael Johnston: I had to return a jacket I bought online the staff were very friendly and helpful, and knowledgeable, could not get a replacement jacket but that was OK with me, makes a change to have such friendly service.

Eddie Welch: I deliver there 5 times a week...staff are really lovely...

Simon Finch: but Casper arranged for some alternatives to be transferred to my local store. Having previously worked in Running shoe retail, I know he did a great job.

David Jeffery: The prices were great I came in and bought some shoes and a sleeping bag. It's also the only shop in the area that sells tents

Marwan Al-Hashimi: Great service and great helpful staff... Will have all your sports and running needs

Ginevra Pepere: Ash has been very helpful to help me to choose the best shoes for hiking

Xavier Swancelleste: Nice shop, nice staff. I was keen to find an economically priced jacket that was weather proof and well ventilated. It wasn't going to be easy to find anything for under £200. Which was beginning to worry me. Anyway the shop had a nice range of hiking boots and the salesperson explained to me that they could go through the whole process of trying the boots on and explaining their qualities as many times as possible. To help find the right boots.I was impressed with this system but they have such a large range of boots and shoes. I felt that I would need to do my homework first of all. And see which boots had already been road tested.

Al Grey: Biggest and best Decathlon, has a foot scanner which helps with choosing appropriate footwear.
