Fair Cake: what do users think?

stacey roper: I had an amazing experience doing the Mother’s Day lite baking workshop. Fun, clean, great atmosphere and Emete is such a wonderful instructor. I highly recommend - so glad to have this in our community.

samantha partridge: We have had a lot of cakes from Friddles cakes over the last couple of years and we wouldn't go anywhere else. The service is always on point and the cakes taste absolutely amazing. We've even been to one of the couples workshops and it turned out to be an amazing afternoon with more delicious cakes and cookies at the end of the event. Here's just 2 of 11 cakes we've had in the last 2 years.

Angela Lyons: Friddles Cakes are beautifully designed and the taste as equally beautiful. I have had a few cakes from Emete and her team for birthdays, each time I do people always comment on the cake. Emete has an excellent eye for details. Often we don't want to cut the cake so we can admire it more.Recently I attended a workshop Emete put on for Valentine's Day.With a group of couples we decorated tasty cookies and cupcakes. We were shown how to decorate our cakes using a buttercream piping. I loved how we could be creative in decorating or cookies with the guidance of Emette and her team.We had so much fun. I would definitely recommend attending a workshop for something that is different.Check out Friddles cakes on Instagram too. The designs are a delight to look at.

Jessika Gadoury: I ordered my birthday cake from Friddle's Cake and I am very impressed. The cake looked amazing and the flavours were very good. Usually I tend to find cakes too sweet but this one was perfect! The ordering process was very easy. Overall I would recommend this shop and will definitely be back for future cake needs.

Riley Riley: Emete did the most amazing cake for our wedding. It looked beautiful and tasted so good. Everyone was commenting on how amazing it was. Emete truly is a master of her craft. I would highly recommend Friddles Cakes to anyone.

Pamela Rustem: , that I have started a folder on my iPhone, for all my ‘favourite Friddles’!!!I could go on and on describing the quality, imagination, passion that goes into each one, but reach out and see for yourselves. Perfection personified. ⭐️

Oleg Tolstoy: Thank you!

Leanne Parry: I had THE most beautiful cake made by Friddle’s cakes for my daughters 1st birthday. It was nothing short of perfect! Tasted and looked amazing! Highly recommended!

A K: We had such a great experience with her!Amazing cake, more than happy!

Bake With Maria: what do users think?

Ben Tobiss: A really informative course, they were happy to answer any questions and it was a very positive friendly atmosphere!

Dee Jacklin-Meyer: Excellent - highly recommend

leigh Edwards: x

Babs Minarova: We had a team building bake with Maria. Super fun, everyone loved it!

Elliot Neale: We joined one of Maria’s classes - absolutely brilliant and really good fun! Class pitched at a great level that has an element of technicality to them, but not too complex. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a baking class!!

Elizabeth Page: are next level delicious, and it’s a fun time with other bakers from all over the world. Maria herself is down to earth but so knowledgeable about the science of baking. She communicates clearly and effectively which gives us all a feeling of confidence when we go forth. Cannot thank her enough!!!

Cheryl Hamilton: , I was even fortunate enough to go on her Culinary Tuscany Escape, such an amazing experience. I am constantly reproducing her delicious recipes to the great joy of my family, friends and work colleagues! I have met all kinds of home bakers in these classes from the very confident, to those not so, but we all leave with the same three things: more experience; a lovely time; and lots of yummy treats! Thank you Maria

Josh Baker: I recently took my Mum on Maria’s “Bread Baking Extravaganza Class” as a Christmas present. It’s safe to say it was one of the best baking classes we’ve ever done! It was great value for money and we made 5 different types of bread within the 3 hours that the class runs for.Maria was a very good teacher, she took the time to help everyone individually and made us all feel comfortable in her kitchen and with each other. Going as far as to bake some delicious cookies & brownies for our arrival!I would definitely recommend these classes to anyone who was looking to learn baking or as a present to someone! My mum absolutely loved it and has been baking lots of bread since. The focaccia is now a family favourite! Thanks, Maria!P.S. Mum said thank you very much for the tip on the macarons - they work perfectly now!

Bun C: It was amazing croissant course! We made Croissant, Pain Au Chocolat, Pain au raisin & little Cinnamon pastry today. It was so clear easy to understand even I don’t know about the bakery, that was my first croissant in life haha. I love it the whole experience it was so efficient, fully enjoy the course and fun. Took 2 boxes full of joy & the tote bag as well LOLLove the kitchen! Lovely Maria she is so nice lady, always smile. Definitely recommend!

Anand: I had a great time learning how to make patisseries and petite fours with Maria. From the moment you walk in you feel very welcome and “at home”. Maria is a great teacher and the class is run very well, she made baking really simple as I never thought I would be able to make macarons and the ones we baked tasted just like the fancy laduree ones. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone wanting to bake and learn from an experienced teacher.

Sarika Jain: Baked the most delicious cakes with Maria. The class was really relaxed and friendly, the kitchen airy and spotless, and the cakes....amazing!

Jackie Brown: I enjoyed a wonderful half-day with Maria making sourdough. The class was exceptionally well organised and informative. Maria shared her enthusiasm for baking and professional knowledge in a lovely relaxed environment. Highly recommended! Thank you.

Zoe Jankel: I did a bread baking class and it was really good. I've made bread before but it's always touch and go in terms of what's going to come out of the oven at the end. This class was so helpful in teaching how to knead, the different textures you're looking for at the various stages of the proving process and how to make different types of bread, including a no-knead soda bread. Now just working out when I can go back and do another course!

Amanda-Jane Lewin: . Thank you Maria, I’m sure I’ll be back for more! x

Meg Dilnot: too! I would highly recommend these classes and will be coming back both solo and with friends I’m sure ❤️

silksatin xoxo: I attended a petite four class with Maria and it was one of the best, well run places I have ever attended, she is so thoroughly, easily explains everything and super enjoyable, the 3 hours flew by so easily and made really great treats that are gonna help me expand my little business.I cant wait to attend more after the holidays and learn more from her.And her classes are great value . All round super morning I had.

Faisal Shariff: Positive:QualityI attended a petit fours class with Maria. Really well run and very enjoyable with some professional looking treats to take away. I recommend her highly.

E5 Bakehouse: what do users think?

Federica M Micheli: Quintessential Hackney experience. This bakery is the best for produce and baked goods.

Federica Micheli: Truly the heart of Hackney, delicious produce and pastries. Great spot after yoga.

Daniel Burka: Great coffee and great market

David Whalley: A cool place without trying too hard. Coffee was top notch, the blondie was superb and the kimchi and cheese toastie hit the spot. Would love to have been able to buy some of their shop ingredients to take home too

Esra Adibelli: Best sourdough bread you can get in London. My belly never gets bloated after eating their breads. They also have great breakfast options.

Heather Harmsworth: Excellent pastries, coffee and general vibe. Highly recommend.

al an: E5 has been my North star in my time living in London. The one thing I can rely on for a good day... the place that reminds me what i love about hackney. It's the one cafe I always feel welcome to sit and work or read. Every food item I've ordered has always left me with a smile, and I didn't know you could crave literal toast with Jam until I had their sourdough.

David Glot jean Marie Christophe: Good scrambled eggs

S: Sausage bap pretty good but pricey at £10.5.The service really depends on the time of day and whos serving you. Ive tried a mix of sweet and savoury items and they all generally good, if not expensive.

Juliette Lepage: best vegan flapjacks in London !!! very cosy ambiance and kind staff

Le Cordon Bleu London: what do users think?

Ls Chan: The Le Cordon Bleu Cafe is a good place to rest your feet & enjoy a cup of coffee after visiting the British Museum. The blue berry pastry is very tasty - would definitely been better if it’s just out from the oven! Friendly Service too.

Juliana Albuquerque: Pleasant atmosphere and delicious brunch

Adam Lewis: The Tastes of Asia course was lots of fun, & terrific number of tips & techniques that reasly improve your cooking! Chef Marco & Chef Colin were brilliant!

Nikolas Cruz: I really like it and also loved it the way how they teach

Alexey Subach: Cheese and wine pairing event was nice, there were 6 kinds of cheese and 6 kinds of wine. The sommelier was a bit late and overall we only tried the first pair at the end of the first hour and therefore had to rush a little bit in the second hour to try the rest of the pairs. The sommelier told us a lot of information about the cheese and wine and it was great that he had a screen where he could Google and show us some pictures. There were no extraordinary pairings but I liked most of the cheese and a couple of wines. The building and room itself were a bit old-fashioned while they present themselves as the state of the art building

Sherry Zhao: How can the work of Le Cordon Bleu students not taste good? Praise 👍

David Ramboux: Out of the bustle, an oasis of calm and taste. Perfect

Terry Graves: Excellent service and food

Itzhak Bekerman: Excellent coffee and cakes

Bob S: We visited cafe only. Good coffee and desserts. Outside sitting in a small courtyard.

Kim whiley: Such a fun evening, we now know how to make proper sushi and impressive coctails!! Highly recommend!

John Hardy: All were restaurant grade food that we cooked. The bottomless wine is great, my daughter and I had such fun on the Indian Street Food, defo going to try and bring my young boys on their school holidays to try out a kids class. We have given these as birthday presents as well as just come because we are addicted to The Avenue, their way of doing a class making it fun and enjoyable.Keep it up folks !

Dapo Olowu: fantastic cooking class, great hosts, i definitely learned a lot here from enzo and the team. definitely recommend

Paul Carse: Really enjoyed the evening. Learned a lot, cooked some lovely food with lovely people

Eleanor Stone: My sister and I enjoyed a great vegan baking class. I can't believe we made so much and had it all to take away with us! Even though I've done a lot of baking, I still learnt lots - Richard is very knowledgeable and entertaining. Only thing I would change - if we had got the carrot cake in the oven sooner, before he explained the other bakes, it would have had longer to cool and the icing wouldn't have melted on the way home!

Dawn: What a fabulous cookery school! We really enjoyed the fish class...Richard was super knowledgeable, good fun & taught us loads!

David Attwell Thomas: My partner and I went along to a Sunday morning donut making class and had a great time - the school is lovely, really well taught and all the folk working there were very kind and helpful.

Lindsey Griffiths: .

Matt Le Good: We had a brilliant time here. The food was amazing, wine was free flowing, teachers were friendly, fun and knowledgable.

Reid Elliott: Awesome fun night.. highly recommend and Enzo and the team were great !

Tom Guy: An amazing evening; with great staff, atmosphere and food!

James & Caroline Huffam: Brilliant sushi making workshop, really enjoyed it. Super knowledgeable instructors/chefs and wonderful environment

Kathryn Skelton: Excellent cooking class: fast paced and fun with expert guidance. We enjoyed at the end of the class tucking into the delicious restaurant quality food that we had made 😄

Tom Heinink: An absolutely brilliant evening with Rich and his team. Learnt how to make a range of tapas, drank a lot of wine, and ate a delicious meal. Highly recommended!

Tom Gooding: Fabulous school. Family run business that offers informative, fun, social and great value classes. The facility in Wandsworth is a brilliantly equipped kitchen in an easily accessible location. I would, and regularly do highly recommend them to friends and family! Thank you guys

Eva Adam: and both times were absolutely incredible. Richard is an amazing chef with a vast of knowledge and really good teaching skills. They always create a lovely atmosphere and able to tailor to individual needs so even if you are more experienced in the kitchen you come away with real pro tips. He also makes sure that he spends time with everyone therefore you truly benefit from the feedback and adjustments. I would recommend this place for everyone: couple’s datenights, cooking enthusiasts, new to cooking, experienced home cooks. You’ll have a great time, amazing food and drinks and will come away with lots of new skills that you can put into practice straight away.

Anges de Sucre - delivering cake: what do users think?

ilemi arrindell: defo is tastier at room temp as outlined in the helpful instructions on the lid.Kept well - it was a super hot weekend so I put it in the fridge but it arrived Saturday and I polished off the last of it on Thursday. The sparkler/ topper in the box was a thoughtful addition. Will order again

Debbie R: The cake from Anges de Sucre was a triumph! Truly extraordinary. Thank you Reshmi. So tasty - moist throughout and not too sweet. Most definitely the best chocolate-Guinness cake I’ve tasted and I’ve tasted a few. My party guests were raving about it too.The portions were super generous and the large bottom tier would have been enough for 50-60 guests. The cake was at the pricier end of the range so one tier would have made a difference in the cost however it was so delicious people were delighted to be taking some home so it was worth every penny. It came with a free sparkler and chocolate message slab which was classy.Emails were answer swiftly when I had queries. The only thing I would have liked was an “it’s on way” email a couple of days before just confirming again the order as it’s one of the things you worry about when you’re organising a party.I will order again in a heartbeat if I need a big occasion cake in future.

Nora T: Absolutely amazing . We ordered a few times from Anges de sucre and it’s always a delight .. we ve ordered this jungle cake for a 5 years old birthday and it was perfect !100% recommended!

John Frayne: Cake looked fantastic, delivery was prompt. This was the best red velvet cake any of us had tasted- was delicious and would happily re-order again. Thanks for creating a special moment for us all!

Bryana Gold: The Malt Milkshake Chocolate cake I order was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. It wasn’t too overwhelming of chocolate, but just right. They were also very communicative in the delivery. It was exactly what I had in mind when I ordered it. Thank you so much!

Nykki Hetherton: Reshmi has done it again. Amazing celebration cake. Totally wowed everyone with its lightness and flavour. I know some people moan about costs of professionally made cake but remember we pay for ingredients and the time and skill that goes into it. Completely worth EVERY penny. Definitely a little gem of a shop in big ol’ London.

Nicolas Sobredo: Best cake shop in London! Look no further for your cake needs. I’ve been a client the past 3 years and everything from the presentation to the taste are top-notch. Also the customer service is very personable and attentive to details. My only wish is that we had an Agnes de Sucre here in the US!

tanya rose: mother Margaret Rose has just moved in to St Theresa's care home in Roland Gardens in South Kensington as she has quite severe Alzheimer's.She was so delighted to have her first tea party there with the other 25 residents and her cake made the event super special.Thank you Anges du Sucre

Fred Hunt: The Spyro cake that Reshmi made was beautiful and delicious, and exactly how I expected it to be. Delivery was as expected and the recipient, Amy, was pleased as punch! I thoroughly recommend that you pick Anges de Sucre for your cakey needs, especially as Reshmi is an awesome person as much as she's and awesome baker. Thanks again! Can't wait to have an opportunity to get another cake.

F T: We ordered the chocolate rainbow cake. This was such a beautiful and special birthday cake. Unfortunately we ate it so quickly I didn’t get a chance to take a photo of the amazing rainbow layers inside! I’d been tempted by Anges de Sucre cakes for years and am so glad that I finally tried one. The cake is moist, not too sweet, the icing is amazing. It’s moreish without being sickly and tastes exactly what you want birthday cake to taste like. Thanks for the fab cake!

B H: Absolutely Amazing cake. Thank you soo much

Emma Saunders: This cake was incredible, looked absolutely stunning - a real showstopper - and tasted exquisite!

Annabel Beeforth: Absolutely amazing cakes from a creator like no other - passionate, inventive and very serious about taste. Just absolutely brilliant.

Eliza Wace: Lovely cakes and a delightful bakery to deal with!

L R: I've bought three of Reshmi's StoryBakes books for my daughter and they're all fantastic. A great, fun & engaging way to get children into baking, with a delicious, tasty treat to eat at the end! Our favourite is Olivia's lemon loaves - sublime!

Lujein Nouelaty: Never tried one of your cakes before but they look amazing and I'm yet to try baking the hero sponge cake. Just showing my support to a small business who doesn't deserve the nasty comments and reviews.

steven lawson: I haven't tried one of your cakes yet, but they do look amazing. This 5* is to show support for standing up to those influencers trying to take advantage of you and your business. Kudos!

Rochelle MB: Lovely cakes
