Canal Cafe Theatre: what do users think?

RAH London: people, very intimate. Preview of The News Review for Edinburgh 2023 was five star, absolutely ripping satire, well done and good luck at the festival!

Amanda Shelley: How lucky we were to stumble upon the Canal Cafe Theatre, it happened to be around the corner from the Airbnb we were staying at. The NewsRevue comedy show was smart, fresh and entertaining. Super talented cast and a great view of the stage even from the back row where we sat. Loved how relevant and current all the bits were - hilarious political and social commentary.

Thomas Brooker: Outstanding service, excellent food, and a refreshingly serious, proactive approach to managing allergies. Charm from start to finish.

Hannah Harquart: The team at the bar are the absolute best, so attentive and hilarious as well! Incredibly good food, clean and very good atmosphere. Brooklyn and xhorda looked after us really well.

Erin JMO: Discovered it's my local theatre, and what a little gem it is! Beautifully situated in a lovely old Edwardian building, the pub downstairs is cosy and welcoming, with a great menu and mixture of nice patrons! Upstairs is the theatre, small enough to be intimate, which is exactly what u want in theatrics. Up close and personal - finally it's actually possible in London without paying an enormous fee for close up seats! This is my new favourite theatre, affordable, local, welcoming and warm with really good acts. Saw the News Revue in Dec 2022 and laughed all the way through. Had a great nite! Highly recommend. Make an evening and enjoy the pub. So rare now to get an intimate theatre setting and good acts, for good price in inner london.

Garry Stretch: , as the say.20/10 👍

Triin de Speville: Forget the West End, it’s the NewsRevue at the Canal Cafe where the best shows are at.

Harry K: Interesting. A nice comfortable pub downstairs and an enjoyable small theater upstairs. Subject matter is unique, with the young cast giving their best to offer us a satirical view of today's world. Whether in the pub or the theater you feel comfortable and welcome. A good night out to be enjoyed with friends. A short walk from Paddington station. Will be back for more

Stuart Norris: Check out the news revue. Fantastic evening.

Becci Barker: Really lovely theatre space upstairs for Fringe theatre, very friendly staff and delicious goats cheese salad

Clare McGinn: Bravo to the News Revue team who do an amazing job spinning a fresh and funny take on the news. Fun and laugh rate high. Nice pub and friendly staff. Pianist is a genius.

Mariana Alonso: was very nice and friendly. Location is great and food is good - the spicy shrimp

Jennifer Taylor: Great pub with a small theatre venue upstairs, showing the record-breaking show, News Revue among others!

Miranda G: What an amazing fun night out. April/May 2022 cast brilliant…as were the March /April 2002 cast! I just can’t imagine how they do it…updated material constantly…brilliant writhing, performances and musical director! It like a micro world of brilliance all packed into one hour.

London Cabaret Club: what do users think?

Rose: I was a bit nervous as I had friends travelling to London for my birthday so the pressure was on! I have lived in London for 12 years and can safely say this is the best night I have been to. The security are friendly, the waiting staff are attentive and the cast give one hundred million percent. Their positivity is infectious so the other audience members are also such great fun and up for a dance and a laugh- It is an absolute must see experience

Trusted Tulip Reviews: Last night we attended the London Cabaret Club, the venue is in the basement, and it has a lovely lobby and bar area for pre-drinks before the show. The ballroom is well presented all the tables are laid out around the stage area for the best view of the performances. We were served a three-course meal, our starter was salmon for the main we had chicken and for dessert was a fruit mousse. The food was delicious. The performance was brilliant and had lots of variety and was very professional.

E Duncan: Such a great show!! We saw the Queen of Roses show and thoroughly enjoyed it. The entertainment and the staff were spot on. Thank you for such a spectacular experience and thank you to Solomon who looked after us and kept our glasses full!

Chantaille Elise: Amazing!!Great talent and food!!

PAVLOS HATZINIKOLAOU: Attended many terrific cabaret shows and never disappointed. Recent dinner at "Le Petit Chef" delightful. Great fun, lovely food and attentive service. Particular credit to charming and generous manager, Samuel Baskett overseeing memorable night.

Kyle McKenzie: We attended London Cabaret Club’s “All About Gatsby” show for Valentine’s Day 2023 and let me just tell you, this facility is top notch from top to bottom! From the pristine interior of the building, to the exquisite food & drinks and to the talented performers and cheerful severs, you hands down could not ask for a better night out in London! I would like to personally thank the lovely manager Sam who went above and beyond to accommodate our evening!Thank you, London Cabaret Club for a Valentine’s Day that I won’t soon forget! ❤️
