Cara Finnegan: Visted Thursday 1st Feb for the 1st time with my family and loved it so much we came back again as a couple tonight 5 days later and as someone who cannot eat gluten found this place to be my new heaven. From the great and attentive staff to the amazing food and atmosphere to ensure our experience was one of the best I've had in a long time from a restaurant.Dana our waitress ensured we were catered for all our needs and never waiting for a minute for each serving, very friendly and happy having conversation and ensuring we were happy as customers. Which we indeed were.Thank you again will definitely be back as a regular customers in the future.Dietary restrictions: Amazing for anyone wanting to eat gluten free but not missing on flavour

Sarah Robson: Amazing. Came here whilst on a trip from Newcastle as a treat for my partner to be able to eat out and not have to think about it beforehand or be handed an allergen folder to navigate. The food was amazing, if you didn't know it was a gf restaurant i doubt you could tell. The only give away would possibly be the bread being slightly unlike regular bread, but that was still delicious. We ate like pigs; three courses plus sharing sides and every mouthful was a delight. This was all amazing value for what we got, especially for London, where we seemed to get our eyes ripped out everywhere else. Staff were lovely and attentive. Well worth a visit. Pleasant 15 min walk from Kings Cross. If only we could find somewhere quite like this in Newcastle... kind of makes me a bit cross too, because it goes to show how celiacs/gluten sensitive can be catered for and still be inclusive to all, as it doesn't sacrifice taste in any way.

Mark Fleming: with impeccable timings all delivered with exceptional service by Gabriel. I would like to mention the cocktails we had delivered by Francesco which were some of the tastiest I’ve had by far- also a reasonable price!! Also a shoutout to the music choice-not too loud but set a chill yet uplifting vibe.

Simon Foster: Wow what a find. Very nicely presented food with quick service. Sunshine carrot juice with ginger was also good.Vegetarian options: Wild mushrooms were delicious with a perfectly cooked polenta base

Leah Suter: that offered gluten free and dairy free Yorkshire pudding. I can’t explain how included I felt to be able to eat everything everyone else normally does for a Sunday roast including the Yorkshire pudding! We got the focaccia bread with tomato roasted butter

Kayla Brewer: This is THE best gluten free bread and restaurant I have ever been to. I felt like I was being tricked because I have never tasted gluten free taste so good. I wish I could eat this bread every day. My non celiac family enjoyed their meals too.Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free

Indigo at One Aldwych Restaurant: what do users think?

Teresa Ducrey: We came to this place as we expected it to be all gluten free. However, that seems not to be the case for breakfast. They had some gluten free options for breakfast, but I took the royal egg benedict and while they had breakfast muffins on the menu for another dish, the egg benedicts came with toast at the bottom. I wouldn't mind this at another restaurant, but as I was expecting a great gluten free experience, I was disappointed.

Allan Tyler: Indigo is a favourite. Service is terrific. The food is delightful and the menu is entirely gluten free. Good wine list. The dining room is on the mezzanine above the lounge, so there's a bit of disturbance when the barmen use their electric blender. Three courses ~£70pp +wine.Dietary restrictions: The entire menu is gluten free.Indicate other allergies with reservation to alert kitchen and wait staff.Server asked about other allergies when taking dinner orders.

Katie Carr: I wanted a restaurant which offered a completely gluten free menu so my daughter who has coeliac disease could choose anything from it.Indigo at One Aldwych offered this and more. Great service, quality, locally sourced British ingredients, sustainable.Lovely food and desserts, excellent choice of wines and such a great location especially if you are visiting the theatre/Covent Garden area. The menu is also dairy free.Highly recommend wether you are needing a gluten and dairy free menu or not as you would never know.Dietary restrictions: Menu is totally dairy and gluten free.

Gianni: A very elegant and chic restaurant located inside a design hotel in the beautiful theater district. The menu, by choice of the chef, is completely gluten free, but the variety, quality and composition of the same is not affected at all.As a starter I ate a very delicate venison tartare with quail egg, I also tasted the watercress soup with poached egg that my girlfriend ordered, divinely served and truly tasty and delicate. My main course was a very tender lamb fillet on a bed of aubergines, capers and anchovies.Impeccable service from every point of view

Ffiona's: what do users think?

Peter Shenkin: I love it because Ffiona will happily tell you what to eat if you ask her nicely. So far she's batting 1000!Vegetarian options: They exist.

Louise Carl: LOVE ffiona's! & if you're looking for a genuinely friendly welcome in a relaxed, unpretentious, British, home-style restaurant, you will, too! Lucky Kensington! Great selection of well executed fare with sisters Ffiona & Althea taking care of you. So enjoyed dining with you on the 3 occasions during our last trip! Special thanks to Althea for the peppermint tea sachets she proffered when she understood I was under the weather. They really made a difference & so appreciate her thoughtfulness. With kind regards from Brisbane, Australia!

Rachel Kramer: Absolutely beyond delicious authentic home cooked food and fantastic about gluten free requirements. 100% must go.Recommended dishes …

Rafal Krokos: Great food and very friendly stuff

Jenny French: Lovely brunch spot- friendly and attentive staff

Ashley Barnette: If you don't dine at Fiona's during your visit to London you are missing out on a true London experience. Ffiona greets you immediately as if you were family. She's the only server AND owner. She sits with you as she writes down your order. The menus is written on the wall in chalk and has the most amazing selections. I had the fish and chips. And my husband had the chicken Kiev. Both were absolutely delicious. Some tables are large enough to sit with strangers and that's also what makes this place so charming and unique. Ffiona sits and chats with every table. We also had the STP...Sticky toffee pudding. Go here! It's wonderful, amazing, and very British.

Mark Roberts: Incredible brunch with exceptionally friendly staff - definitely book in advance. One to revisit!Recommended dishes Queen Scramble, French Toast …

Jamie The Business Bear: Amazing venue, intimate friendly and the most personal experience in London for being looked after. The brunch is off the scale and the roasts some of the very best in London.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free dishes.

Evan: Lovely brunch spot 👌🏼 nice family vibe inside and quaint. This is the kind of place you can go on a rainy day and feel nice and warm inside. Staff were wonderful and friendly and worked to accommodate us. The meals were spot on with everything tasting fresh and delicious. It can get a little toasty inside so be prepared to remove layers if it’s a cold day.

K Zie: I came yesterday for brunch with my partner and the staff were super nice and so welcoming. There was a slight error with our booking but the staff kept apologising and we could tell the owners were amazing, lovely people. The food was superb, we both enjoyed our time thoroughly and would definitely recommend this amazing spot for brunch.

Laura Roe: , fish and chips, mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts for dinner. All so, so delish. But then, the sticky toffee dessert with vanilla ice cream. Only regret is that we shared one. I could have eaten my own! Fiona was lovely and gave us advice on restaurants and places to visit. Her staff was lovely and attentive. The restaurant is very cozy with a fresh flower arrangement on each table. If I could give 6 or more stars I would! I will definitely go back here. Enjoy!!!
