Sarah Oliveri: I can't wait to go back to this place.Service was great and food was delicious, hence the lack of pictures. We just dived in and ate 😋.Did manage to get this decent photo of my friend's meal before she started eating lol.

Winter Garden Restaurant: what do users think?

Fathima Mowlana: . The scones and clotted cream was delicious. It was a hit and miss with some of the desserts. The service provided was efficient and professional. We were looked after by awesome Mr.Anth. Overall it was a memorable evening.Dietary restrictions: We requested Halal and it was prepared for us. The options were very good

Mariam Soorma: The afternoon tea was delicious: as many rounds of sandwiches as you desire with good vegetarian and halal options; 2 types of scones with a choice of jam, clotted cream and chocolate spread; beautiful and tasty desserts. The best afternoon tea in the prettiest setting. Everything was fresh, warm, filling and indulgent. Huge selection of loose leaf teas to choose from. Overall a very luxurious experience - perfect for a special occasion like a birthday.Vegetarian options: Egg and cucumber sandwichesDietary restrictions: Smoked salmon and halal chicken sandwiches. All food alcohol-free.

Doni Brasco: , was very welcoming and jovial. He explained the process to my guest, suggesting certain teas he thought we might enjoy. His recommendation, the Landmark blend, hit the nail on the head, making all the others taste inadequate. We tried the winter blend, Assam, and a fruit mango-infused blend, but the Landmark signature blend stood out.The sandwiches were abundant, and our waiter, Daniel, made sure we were fully stocked up. The sandwiches included:1. Cucumber2. Smoked salmon3. Egg Mayo4. Coronation chickenHonestly, the sandwiches were not mind-blowing; the salmon was a bit basic, needing a balance of flavor. The cucumber was very refreshing, the egg mayo was great, and the coronation chicken, although slightly drier than I would have liked, was complemented with delicious walnut bread. We ended up eating three sets of sandwiches; yes, we were hungry. The warm, fluffy scones were served with strawberry jam, cream, and a chocolate hazelnut ganache

Olivia Nicholl: for two festive afternoon tea to be seated at 3.00pm. Was it worth it? Considering we’ve been to their competitors, it is actually worth more in our eyes. The freshness and actual flavours of the food were miles better than other top festive afternoon teas we have attended in London.Would be return again? Yes, whether for afternoon tea again, dinner or a room to stay in for the night

Kim Cooper: We had a delightful afternoon tea at this beautiful hotel. The Winter Garden is stunning and the food shows that the chefs are worthy winners of their recent Bake Off award. Service is impeccable we were offered refills of sandwiches and tea which is not always the case on other famous London hotels. The staff are charming and give the impression of really wanting guests to have a memorable experience. Thank you.

C W: Ok…WOW!!! We had afternoon tea. It was absolutely wonderful ~ no, exquisite! Don’t be intimidated by the opulence ~ give it a go. If you don’t make reservations, you can go to the restaurant upstairs. This is a “bucket list” item you can cross off even if it wasn’t on your list. My husband & teenage son LOVED it! The staff was really great.

Mor Bakal: I booked the Bottomless Brunch to celebrate my friend's 40th birthday, and our experience exceeded our expectations. Firstly, our glasses were never empty during our slot. The staff were incredibly responsive, patient, kind, and friendly. The food was not only delicious but also filling. I highly recommend Lantana for a fantastic brunch experience.Vegetarian options: Many veggie options on the menu!

Nik Butler: In search of coffee and a lunch this venue is surprisingly larger on the inside with indoor and outdoor seating and a great selection of food for a range of tastes .coffee was lovely though for an Aussie styled venue they serve flat whites London style.will will keep it on my list for if we are passing and in search or a break and some great food

Gary Stoner: Best breakfast sandwich in the area! Great service and friendly staff. A bit busy but that is a sign of good food!Kid-friendliness: Kids love blueberry pancakes!

sandra santini: The venue is located three minutes from theLiverpool street station. The Breakfast very plentiful and tasty. We got some eggsBenedict and some bacon sausage pancakes and thePotato roast ... the portions are quiteAbundant, so don't think about going to lunch or at least take a look at thePhotos that other people post to see what it is!!It is also possible to have an English breakfast with sausages, bacon and beans, the menu is also available on the internet. Fruit juice drinks are served with ice so if you don't want it, do it when ordering. The service is quick and most of the staff are welcoming and courteous.I recommend booking to avoid waiting, we entered without queuing which instead we found around 9:15 when we left. The prices are a bit expensive, but on average for other clubs and for London in general!

Raksha: I had the vegan version of the Pancakes, cream and berries over a weekend brunch. The portion size was great, and a waiter came around every 15 minutes to check in.The breakfast club was extremely busy when we entered, and they don’t take reservations. I left my name and mobile number with a staff member and they said a table would be ready in 30 minutes, I could leave and come back. This was great, as I didn’t have to physically stand and wait in a queue.I would definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast/brunch.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options available.

Jarča Benešová: A place with atmosphere and very pleasant helpful staff. We liked the breakfast, especially the salty one. The sweet 'appetizers' were too greasy for my taste. The price of the food is acceptable compared to London, although quite high for breakfast. The closer to noon, the more crowded the place was, if you want to have breakfast in peace, it is better to come earlier.

Rocío Mazorra Morales: Fantastic staff and delicious food define this establishment. I was surprised about how easy it was for me to have GF & DF alternatives and how accommodating and switched on the staff about it. My friend and I were very well taken care of. I cannot wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: GF & DF options available

Staff was extremely friendly, the environment made me feel like I was right at home eating breakfast and the FOOD WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD. There was a line when we arrived but the host came out greeted us and had us seated in no time. 😁 please if ever in the area gift your tummy and soul with this with this amazing amazing place!!!!

Sarah Louise Soubry: THE BEST Breakfast I’ve ever had. So impressed. Staff were lovely, service was fast. Although we had to queue outside for a table, we didn't have to wait long. The queue did get longer though after we’d arrived. The portions are HUGE and the best pancakes I’ve ever had. Unlimited syrup too. Had a Bloody Mary to wash it down with which was also delicious. Will definitely return and will now go in search or other Breakfast Club cafes around the UK.

Sarah Skwierawski: Was craving a hearty breakfast and TBC hit the spot. For a Sunday morning we were seated quickly although there was a line. The service was quick and friendly. We ordered the American breakfast and the greasy spoon. It was all cooked as you'd expect and the eggs were perfect. The juices and smoothies were a nice plus. We were left wanting to try more things from the menu so will definitely be back.

Alem D: and when we brought this up with the waitress she was not understanding at all and I didn’t appreciate the tone she spoke to my friend in - super harsh. They also gave me a regular latte instead of an oat milk one like I’d asked for

Michele Palmieri (Il cuoco motociclista): Two of my friends lived right across the street, on the last day of their move they offered me a breakfast here, and I must say truly exceptional, the food was truly very good, the guarantee for a good breakfast had already been given to us previously by line of people waiting outside, which usually lasts until just before the restaurant closes, despite being a small place the environment is very welcoming, the food is really well prepared, good, you can feel that it is fresh and homemade and not bought products, can't wait to go back !!!Two of my friends lived right across the street, on the last day of their move they offered me a breakfast here, and I must say truly exceptional, the food was truly very good, the guarantee for a good breakfast had already been given to us previously by line of people waiting outside, which usually lasts until just before the restaurant closes, despite being a small place the environment is very welcoming, the food is really well prepared, good, you can feel that it is fresh and homemade and not bought products, can't wait to go back.

Andrea Trost: This is my local brunch spot, a cozy cafe tucked away in the lovely neighbourhood of Barnsbury. The food is always amazing and the service is friendly. As it is that popular there is usually a queue on the weekend and it’s not possible to book in advance. So if you don’t mind waiting outside, this is a great spot. Only downside is that it can get quite noisy inside so not the best place for conversations.

Ian Waldron: Delicious cup of coffee, beautiful eyes.

Richard Holmes: Officially one of my fave brunch places. Fresh ingredients, big portions and fair prices.I've brought several family members here when they come to stay with us and they love it too! There's always a queue but it's worth the wait!

Asif Zaman: The salad and dessert bars have a good selection, and we all enjoyed those. The egg station was good as well. I got eggs royale and then an omelette. The eggs were tasty.I got the roast beef and really enjoyed that. All mains have to be ordered in advance on arrival. My wife got the roast chicken which she thought was OK.Our friend got the vege mains which was the gnocchi, which she hardly touched. Would suggest making a more appealing vegetarian option. The venue, atmosphere and service was really enjoyable.Would consider going back in group occasion.Vegetarian options: Majority of the salad bar was vegetarianWheelchair accessibility: On ground level

N C: Nice decor, good service, food was ok

Sonia A: The layout of the Saturday brunch menu is quite confusing and could definitely be redone to be a lot clearer. However, once you we did understand the structure of the brunch it was really enjoyable. Staff were quick with topping up drinks as well. The beef main was incredible.Unfortunately the biggest negative was that music was incredibly loud. We couldn’t even speak to the person next to us so I would recommend significantly lowering it. It actually impacted our brunch a lot because it was a lot of different people getting to know each other and it was impossible to do that until the music stopped.

Jessica Hunter: got the bottomless Sunday roast brunch at Oxbo. We got there early

Caroline Japic: Really enjoyed the breakfast buffet here. They have something to please everyone. From hot eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, tomatoes to all kinds of fruit, yogurt, cereals, breads and pastries. The servers were lovely and the cappuccinos were very good. The decorations and interior are fantastic.Vegetarian options: Lots of pastries, bread, fruit and veggies

Jane: Food is fab. Saturday brunch. Staff really lovely. Only thing is the very loud man on a guitar. Dreadful and way too loud. Seemingly so could be heard at far end of restaurant when we complained we could not hear each other! Suggest go to the far side of the eating area!Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Smörgåsbord Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes …

Peter szabo: Our great friend Ken from the Clarendon at Blackheath invited us and we are glad we did!Wonderful food, drink and experience!Definitely recommend to go!Want to try the Sunday roast experience next!

L M: Delicious and high-quality food. We loved everything we ate.Mixed feeling about the service– some staff were attentive, while others made interactions awkward. The atmosphere was very loud due to numerous birthday parties, and frequent singing that came with every cake. This made it challenging to hold a conversation. That said, it was definitely a cheerful day!The most significant drawback was the excessively dark ambience. It's way too dark to enjoy a meal like a brunch. Very strange choice of lighting 🤔In a nutshell: a loud kind of restaurant vibe perfect for groups and celebrations, less so for holding a conversation while having a peaceful meal 😄Food: 5/5Atmosphere: Loud ++Service: 3/5Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

Duck & Waffle: what do users think?

Jack M: ! Food was terrific & atmosphere unmatched. Shout out to Kyel in particular for going above & beyond in helping my Mum. We’ll be ducking back in during their next visit. Cheers :

Andrew Cartwright: trip in the lift and we was on floor 40 - home to Duck and Waffle. We were greeted and taken to our table, which had a beautiful view out over London. I hadn't a clue what to order but decided on the first option, 'the duck and waffle' which weirdly came with some sort of mustard maple syrup and a fried duck egg. Yes, I had no idea if the flavours would go but actually I really enjoyed it! There was also lots of options for drinks, but it was a tad early for anything overly fancy, perhaps next time...!I really enjoyed the visit to Duck and Waffle. The service was good, the atmosphere and view were great, and the food was superb!

Rishabh Kabra: Would love to come back for breakfast in bread. Is there a reopening in sight?

Ellie Cooke: The Breakfastenbread is banging!! You can really tell the ingredients are high quality. Genius invention, really delicious and made a great birthday breakfast at home

Amir V: I shoved the door open without looking and the barman said oi what do you think you're doing? I told him I wanted a room for the night and he said barge inn, round the corner. Anyway after the police arrived we found out he was giving me directions and not calling me out for a fight.

T C: Ordered breakfast en bread for Christmas Day. It was easy to prepare and a delicious way to start the day.

Devon Smiley: Ordered the Festive Breakfast en Bread as a fun way to celebrate the holidays and they were delicious. Click and collect was a breeze, staff/owner lovely, and the meal was really easy to reheat at home.Such a nice treat. Looking forward to trying other options but they all look too good...tough decisions for next time.

Mel Wright: Best breakfast in London! It will leave you full for days

Riz: Came here for a Sunday brunch, what a great place to eat. Food is made to perfection. The owner is lovely and takes pride in what she does.

Anisa Doubell: Amazing service, even when busy everyone is very kind and attentive. Food was amazing! Worth the hype!

Tegan Lobb: We got the take away vegan option breakfast in bread that we brought home to cook. Only took 20mins in the oven and was perfect for a hangover. Looking forward to them being able to reopen.

Carlos de Toro: An incredible place to have a hearty brunch next to the canal. Highly recommended.

Millie's Lounge: what do users think?

Aysia Francis Jackson: I came here for Afternoon Tea and it was truly the best experience! My server was Orrett and he provided exceptional service. He recommended a couple of teas for me to try and they were both excellent! I loved the desserts and scones especially too. I had the champagne add-on and that was a nice touch as well - highly recommend. The overall aesthetic and vibe of Millie’s Lounge was very nice, I loved it. The bathrooms were large and very clean. I had such a great experience and can’t recommend this place enough for anyone wanting to do Afternoon Tea. I was a solo diner and seated right away at around 3pm!

Emmanuel Franklyn Adelabu: Jack

A S: Very chic location. The interesting thing is that it was previously a bench and the stem is still preserved. There is even a club bar for members in the basement, which is located in one of the old safes. If you like the British pup mentality, this is the place for you after work in London City. Unfortunately it's not for those on a budget if you want to drink something other than beer or even eat something.

Alina Serdiuk: Very nice place and staff 🖤

Nic Douglas: The best thing about our visit was the atmosphere - from the moment you walk in, the building, decor, live music and general hubbub is exhilarating. We started with a drink at the bar, where service was faultless and the cocktails we ordered delicious. We then went to Millie’s reception where we were greeted and shown to our table. That’s really where the service ended. We were there for the Sunday feast, and nobody explained the process, nor came to take a drinks order for around ten minutes.Once we managed to order some wine, and there was no check-back, refilling of glasses etc so they lost further sales there. The food was delicious - lots of oysters, lobster, fresh fish and salads to start, followed by quality cuts of meet and gorgeous desserts. It’s a shame the service was absent, as it would have topped off what was still a great afternoon at The Ned

Joe: Definitely the best place I've been. Like the quality of service and friendliness of staff. Also the food is cooked to perfection. I cannot fault anything. It feels great sitting inside a piece of history as the Kray Twins were once customers to the place. Also went there with a couple of friends for a birthday treat last week. It's a place that you want to go again and again.

Jochem van den Berge: Absolutely fantastic place to have a drink or a bite. Well, I say "a bite" but their breakfast options are no joke. They definitely don't skimp on the portions here, and there are plenty of options if you're vegetarian too! Besides the food the atmosphere is absolutely brilliant and there is always time for a chat with the staff, and jokes too! Will definitely return there, also to try their lunch options!
