The Zine: Law is a form of fabric to societal frameworks in interpreting art.The thematic concern of the day is the inherently problematic for what it means to be'Touching the law'. The relationship between land law and ownership cannot be distinguished from one other. The artist Jack Ky Tan was enigmatic in his introduction to the workshop and his voice had been encapsulatedThe colonial voice he has as a product of his own identity and his proud in living the art he produces. His next idea will be to foreground art like Egyptian hieroglyphics and coded ideas about what it means to actually take ownership of something and its responsibilities. The work of Marwa Arsanios provided the framework of land activism in producing alternative forms of identification in owning something personal to you.Challenging the belief that land can not only belong to God and the heritage to claim the appropriation to cultivate land. Life in common remained preoccupied by needing to share land with its population more evenly.Personalisation of producing legislative literature about land ownership in Lebanese socio economic structures, experiences and memories. The thematic concerns also exist to accommodate the humans emotional attachments to places that mean the most their lives.

Paul Hallgarth: This is one of my favourite galleries to visit. I was particularly keen to see the Francis of Assisi Exhibition. This was free to view and had some fascinating items to inspect m. It was well laid out and most informative.Be pret to queue to gain entry to the National Gallery. I had to wait for 10 minutes or so before I was thorough security but it is well worth the wait to gain entry to such a wonderful olacet

issy b: The exhibition is great, the photos are from a paid exhibition inside. I'd recommend becoming a member as I've seen 2 paid exhibitions and I've got my money back pretty much. There is a good cafe to the right of the side entrance. Lift upstairs. Expresso cafe. The gallery is in front of trafalgar Square, so each time I've been there has been street music. It's next door to the national portrait gallery, too.

Sara Rye: . It is an asset to the community. More clarity in its management would be beneficial.

CGP: Wonderful & Magical..🎊💖

Michael Spring (Jez): Choose the right course and you won't be disappointed. You'll struggle. You'll swear. You'll wonder how people can do it. But persevere and you'll have an experience that's priceless. I started here when I retired and despite some setbacks, I've loved it. Keeps you alive and stretched.

Gerrard Russell: Superb Art Gallery with very good lighting and a great cafe. The Artwork on display at the moment is by Atsuko Saito who is a very accomplished Japanese artist living in London. Really precise beautiful paintings.

Sarah Wilson: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Value

Ori Altarace: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueWhat a community! Besides the amazing facilities they have some of the most dedicated teachers and staff. I feel inspired after every visit.

Charles Salmon: Wonderful. I've never painted or drawn since I was 12 many decades ago. I went to a beginners class then on to a more advanced class. The teachers are patient talented and teach you everything from mixing colours, applying the paint perspective etc. After 2 years I'm not bad.

Kevin Murphy: Kevertonkevana@gmail.com

Claire Diamond: Been taking classes part time for several years at HSOA. Painting, ceramics, jewellery. Lovely place, very talented teachers at very reasonable prices. A jewel in north London. Susan A: The Hayward Gallery is full of surprises and I always enjoy the exhibitions. I have just been to the Mike Nelson exhibition with machines that are no longer in use and offices and rooms from the 70s. I was expecting a self righteous display of the end of planet earth. What a relief.

kiran ladhur: Great gallery with nice exhibitions

Jonathan Hodgkinson: Good fun

Heidi Barnes: One of my favourite galleries in London. Thank you as ever!

Just Cheryl: Great place to decompress after a stressful day at work. Finish work at 5pm still have 20 to 30 mins to appreciate some art.

James Jessop: .

Tanya Lake: Free gallery so worth popping in if you are in the area. You'll find the main gallery on the ground floor so have a look around. Then stop off at the cafe for a bite to eat. The gardens are open at the weekend. The gift shop is worth exploring. Make sure you go to the fire station to see more free art exhibits after - its a short walk on the opposite side of the road.

Richard Howells: Great gallery, especially as it is free, but for non artsy type people like me it was a little hard to access. Some of the art spoke to me but other exhibits I could not grasp at all. There was a little print out which explained some bits but I felt I didn't get any benefit from about 50% of the work there, which was a shame. Hence the 4 stars, because it might just be me not getting it!

Giulio Leoncini: Beautiful space

Royal Drawing School Shoreditch: what do users think?

Melonie: Drawing a Story - a brilliant course with great teachers in a lovely location.

Annabel Kjar: I wanted to pass on how interesting, rich and supportive the course Mapping: Internal Landscapes under the tutelage of Perienne and Andrea has been, thank you!The content, the tutors, the guided activities as well as supportive community were very helpful in allowing me to develop new skills and new knowledge.

Jackie lewis: Going to be lost waiting for new courses to start in September. Such wonderful courses.

Aurora R: What a stunning online course! I took ‘Drawing, Collage and Poetry’ with Sophie and Rosie and got completely swept away by the engagement shown from both the teachers and the fellow students. A tight programme, a lot of exercises, inspirations, theory talks, groups discussions and very constructive feedbacks for each session. This went way further than my expectations! I can only highly recommend it! Thank you so much for this gift of a course.

Clare Muller: Learnt some really interesting new techniques- great courses and inspiring tutors!

Md mujeeb: Mohammed imran son of mohammed ghouse .. drive with confidence with her

Jeremy Rosen: Wonderful tutorials with extremely thoughtful preparation to help you improve your drawing skills and understanding. Would highly recommend as a place to learn for all those who are interested and motivated.

Sharmin K: Incredible School. Intuitive Teachers. Lovely atmosphere. My favourite place to be IN the whole World. I look forward to participating with you ALL again. Hopefully, very soon. I LOVE the Courses & the drop-in Classes 💖 THANK YOU, all, so much for everything you do 🙏 For continuously inspiring us, encouraging us, making us fall in love with ART all over again, time after time. I am VERY grateful to ALL of you.

Christian M: I loved doing the 5-day summer course. Great tutor, lovely fellow students and a very creative, encouraging atmosphere. Will defo do it again

yasemin Kascioglu: I enjoyed the 1 week, 1 pose course immensely, our tutor Claudia Carr taught us so much with great patience. I appreciated how the days were structured, looking and discussing references and images covering different topics of painting, then continuing to paint for the rest of the day. Claudia spent time walking around the room to discuss each person’s work. The studio itself was nice, we were painting during the heatwave so everything was done to keep the class as cool as possible. I do think the lighting is a problem, and was disappointed to see that the school doesn’t have any professional lighting. Thankfully our brilliant life model brought in one of his own, I hope the drawing school will invest in the future. In summary, I would definitely attend this course again, it was really enjoyable.

Josie Chadwick: Had a blast doing the "World Imagery in Art" with the Royal Drawing School. Great tutors, learnt loads and had a lot of fun. Very good attention given to each student. Tutors seem to be super interested in everyone's progress and to "meet us where we are".

Angela O' Connell: Excellent knowledgeable and gifted tutor and well run course. I thoroughly the course and learned a lot.

Maeve Martin: Summer School-Evening Flux and Flow; Ink and Watercolour at The Royal Drawing School- a superb course based on a diverse range of historical, modern and contemporary art references . Inspirational teaching with a balance between structured tasks and more experimental directions. Stephanie and Nicola are exceptionally knowledgeable practitioners. Many thanks, Maeve Martin

Gregory Thayer: Painting: Landscape, Gardens and Natural Forms; Summer ‘22. The course was very well taught, but please, please spend a little time revising the Materials List so that it conforms to what has been described for, and then what is required to fully participate in, each specific course. Time wasted using the wrong materials, or scrambling to obtain materials after the course begins, is magnified for these intensive courses. Otherwise, very good.
