Cally Pool & Gym: what do users think?

Lin nia: First of all, we would like to thank the very, very friendly and courteous staff. My son and I are from Germany and we are on holiday in London. After three full days, we wanted to relax. There are two pools. One for little non-swimmers and one where you can just swim your lengths. My son then went to the in-house gym. Cally Pool & Gym, we recommend.

Kiki M: 2 large pools with a reasonable number of changing rooms and showers (all unisex). The gym is small but I hardly see people using it. Main attraction are the pools. There’s street parking and you can pay via telephone or RingGo app. For 45mins it’s about £5 so better to walk there or use public transport if you can.

Al-eem Ahmed: been going since I was a child. Nice pool is not too deep, but it does need a revamp in terms of the gym as it is tiny, but overall grqy for a swim

Michelle Sainsbury: The floors, changing rooms and toilets are a scene from hell. Cally pool needs to employ a cleaner. Swimming instructor lacks patience and skills to support unconfident swimmers

Kasia Sipowska: Just called better gym to try to find out how to book an ordinary swim session at the pool on Caledonian Road, as a non member. The person who answered seemed to be miles away from the microphone and was answering my questions with 3 words max! I still don’t have any relevant or helpful info and I really don’t understand why this phone call and the process of enquiry was so difficult!!! I guess I won’t be using that pool for a swim! Better Gym… do BETTER!

Jay Mcinerney: Nice staff quite clean , but i remeber this place from when i was about 5 now 35 and its not changed at all same decor only thing thats changed is the changing rooms

Pancras Square Leisure: what do users think?

Gordon C: It’s a multifunctional gym, quite big for London standards, although I only use the gym. The free weights are ok but do get busy at times. My only complaint is the lockers. They were poorly installed to start with. Many of the locker door do not close properly and therefore are useless. When the centre gets busy sometimes it can be challenging to find a useable locker. The management seem not to care. Many of the broken lockers have been left this way for many years.

Llewelyn Jones: Great big gym, lovely swimming pool. Great location. Massive shame the government is tearing the heart out of our nation and choking public services to the point of danger. Welcome to the UKDecay. Sad state of the state, massive shock the lack of pride successive governments have in the nations they serve. Regardless of political persuasion a basic level of state functionality is needed to alow planet and people to thrive. We have lost our way blinded by greed.

David Trezeguet: Like most gyms in London the weights area Is ridiculously small in comparison to the amount of unused cardio machines.. Its always packed all time of day.. the mens shower floors are gross with hair and dirt, there is only 1 changing cubicle in the mens. you won’t be able to get a workout done quickly either because there is always a full natty brah hoarding the 1 squat rack there and they take an hour to finish their sets.

Mike England: I can only speak for the gym - it is a decent size. Normally can get access to equipment but evenings are busy. Large cardio area. Reason for 3/5 is that the gym is often filthy. For example the free weight rack has probably never been cleaned, meaning every time you lift a weight up it’s full of dirt. Often cleaning supplies run out too. Another thing is that because it’s in camden, if you live in Islington only a couple hundred metres away you have to pay quite a bit more than someone that lives say 2-3 miles away in Chalk Farm. Would be nice if this was sorted out.

T4NV1R4HM3D: Decent gym price is stupid, a/c is constantly broken for weeks, wide cables machine is uneven in terms of weight and has been like that for 6 months+ and one of the free bench doesn’t adjust. Staff don’t really check nor care.

Aminul H: I used to come to this Leisure Centre. There was adequate amounts of space and top quality equipments in the gym. The showers and changing room were of satisfactory standard and the swimming pool and sauna were always clean and well kept. You were given a progress tracker key which you could use to track all your machine work outs automatically or manually via entering the data in. I really enjoyed coming to this gym and it always felt good and motivating as it was not crowded or unkempt. The only downside was it was pretty expensive for its monthly subscription but then again it is a mid tier gym with a lot of services.

alana ngọc: great community, some of the gym equipment don’t work sometimes so they have to fix it. doesn’t have as much variety than other gyms i’ve been to but overall i can work with what’s there

Roberts Koreņiks: always seems dirty! mens changing rooms always have some garbage on the floor & don’t look properly cleaned. floors are grimy

Donna Williams: Not alot of parking spaces. But well stocked.

Zee Dee: My daughter had her 7th birthday party here. We chose a bouncy castle party and it was great! All of the children had so much fun, the staff were great with them and kept them well entertained. Two bouncy castles and lots of games set up. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful in providing things we needed and they really made my daughters party fun. Highly recommend for kids birthdays.

mamima4: Love it! 😊 Great people working there, nice atmosphere ❤

Jack Lupton: Small but well equipped gym with everything you could need. Reasonably quiet and good if you just want to get on with your session. Akira, aka Kira and Chloe (I think (?)) very helpful and friendly.

CressidaM Competitions: This leisure centre is for people in Wandsworth and Southfields to use. In an area where there are no other swimming pools aside from private ones (e.g. at a cost of ~£70.00 per month), I had hoped this would be an affordable alternative. The centre only has adult lane swimming from 6.40pm onwards in the week, and then on weekends they have family swim sessions. There are no earlier times for adult lane swimming (even say 6.00pm one night a week), and there are no morning lane swimming options either. This is far too restrictive, and in practice means the lane swimming only attracts a certain demographic. It is a real shame as if the centre were open more for lane swimming, it could be really helpful. It is a shame they have let down the local community in this way.
Response: Dear Cressida, Thank you for your review. Aspire@Southfields uses facilities of Southfields Academy, therefore, the use of the swimming pool is restricted throughout term time. Please note, Aspire@Southfields is not a part of the local authority. We aim to host more Lane Swim sessions during the holidays, however, throughout term time, there are other pool sessions and activities that need our attention, such as Swimming Lessons for children and adults and Family Swim sessions. Aspire Team

Dina Kay: Pool is very warm but the changing room is a disaster, no hair dryer, horrible facilities condition

Aminul Hoque: This is one of the best summing pool I have been too. Reminds me when I was a little kid when I use to go. I go there with my kids and they have this lovely kids swimming area. Love the. Water slide but that is hardly open and they don’t make this clear when booking would be helpful if they did.

Mohamed “Dr Uno”: My children and my siblings had Great fun all in the toddler/baby pool with the slides, water spouts etc. Very clean , very well organized, and very cheap price for adults with 2 kids under 3yr, car park on site £1 per hour. Highly recommended.

Mac Miah: Good handy local swimming and gym. Always busy but always room for everyone. Great deals for kids either £1 or free so definitely worth going if you have kids. Lots of adult activities too. Swimming for adults and gym and sauna and steam room and exercise and other classes upstairs. Plus they have a waiting / viewing room upstairs while your kids take their swimming classes / lessons.

Sarah McArdle: Today was my first time at Leyton Leisure centre and it was amazing! The changing facilities are exceptional - which is such a RARE find with leisure centres around London. Had a lovely swim and the staff are so friendly.

McKenna Schroter: Can’t speak for any other parts other than the gym. But the gym stinks of urine and body odor about 99.9% of the time. The lack of gym etiquette is appalling, no one put weights away, no one wipes down the equipment after use, and most of the time groups of men just stand around pretending to use equipment therefore not allowing anyone else to use it. Staff walk around and do absolutely nothing, what do they get paid for? Most of the clips on the cables are missing. And a few machines seem to break down and never get fixed. Depressing place overall.

Mad Lilies: This place is huge and has a lot of facilities. The location is convenient. It feels like a community place e.g. school when you walk into the leisure centre. Easy to book online and they managed to operate classes with social distancing (e.g. spinning).

Stuart Gibson: switched from gym group in hampstead to here a few days ago and so far so good. very big, people actually clean the equipment, friendly staff, lockers work well, and good quality machines. the views and layout from upstairs is quit cool. really impressed

paul mata: Mens showers are not clean. The hand drier is filthy inside, which needs to be properly cleaned. Otherwise, the centre has a good, well equipped gym

Alla Alla: I am your customer and I agree that we don’t pay a lot for our monthly card. It’s a good value for money. But! It’s too dirty! I took pics of the toilet when I came to the gym, and nothing changed when I was leaving it... nobody cleaned toilets during 2,5 hours... that’s not acceptable for such a bit leisure center with a huge amount of visitors! It’s always dirty there. Even if sometimes cleaners come- they clean the floor and nothing else, unfortunately...

C G R: £16 for a 40-min squash court rental is too much. It doesnt seem to be cleaned regularly. My workmate/friend said that the coffee stain on the floor was there when she played Friday and we went there on a Wednesday which was 5 days after. It is not acceptable to pay that amount and have the kind of service like that. We were also sneezing and itchy. It has a nice location and definitely people could benefit from this centre but I hope they provide better service and clean facilities.

TheMan TheLegend: Paid £14.55 for 50 min Sauna + Steam Room. Turned out the steam room had been out of order for a few days. That is half the facility not working. You could notify your pay-as-you-go customers that half the facility was out of order! Thieves!

loye hsiao: The sports courts are good in terms of lighting. But there are few holes in the badminton nets which need to be changed ASAP. The receptionist is really rude and unfriendly. He didn’t allow us to get in. We waited for 15 minutes at the entrance. Wasted my time! Better go when this guy is not at reception.

davide longhi: Is there a way to give less than 1 star? I go the The Castle to play badminton every week. However, today I wanted to make a complaint about the badminton area being too hot and without air ventilation - as it used to be till few weeks ago. The receptionist I first talked to, seemed she couldn’t care less so I have asked her if I could speak to a manager …..and this guy came to the reception. I tried to explained him the issue, and ask him when the AC would have been fixed. He kept interrupting me, telling me to “stop patronising him”, and that I was making him look stupid….. he kept saying that there’s never been air conditioning. I am not sure how I managed to stay calm: he was very aggressive, arrogant and rude. After few minutes he acknowledged that the vents are broken (which causes the room being incredibly hot). When I’ve asked when this will be fixed he rudely said “I don’t know”, like he wasn’t his problem. I’ve never had such a poor customer service.

becca wells: The Gym is old, filthy, smelt like feces & half of the equipment was rusted stiff. The pool is grimy & has a bad rep for this. Even walking into the center their was mess & mud on the floor posters fallen down & not picked up, rude & unhelpful staff. I was so upset by this as before I had moved to London I was using the South Oxhey leisure center & that was lovely! Incredibly disappointed with this & have had to cancel my membership :(

Kensington Leisure Centre: what do users think?

Dorian Courtesi: Great community leisure centre. Fantastic swimming pool. Between 1pm and 3pm in the afternoon is a good time to swim, as there are no swimming classes at this time. Good gym facility, plus a sauna and steam room.

F Ortiz: The music in the gym floor is HORRIBLE! Users leave weighs on machines and there’s no staff tidying up on the floor. The swimming pool bathrooms are filthy unless you come first thing in the morning. I’m giving it two stars because the pool and gym floor have a decent size + memberships are cheap, but I’m considering changing gyms

Mihnea Miculescu: Brilliant neighbourhood spot right here. Whether you live in Kensington & Chelsea or not, you can access their modern facilities on a pay-as-you-go basis — including the gym, pool, courts and so on. A great overall option if you have small children.

Mary: Recently renovated leisure centre. You can play squash, basketball, netball, badminton and many more. It has 3 swimming pools which are great for training, school kids play and the smallest one with little fountains is perfect for toddlers and smaller kids to safely enjoy playing around with water. You can watch the kids playing through the glass by seating in the cafe.

nicky-07: Great leisure centreSpacious, plenty of equipment - maintained well, choices of group classes to meet all levels of ability and affordability to match;

Prestina Everest: Hey hey heyyy......i have to share this news to everybody. I took my 8 year old daughter for swimming and there was a verbal fight in the ladies changing room. My daughter heard and saw grown up ladies fighting and swearing for the first time in her life....oh my...god what can i say.....so i just want to let swimming pool team to come and check whether everything is alright in ladies changing room....

SB PurevibeConsortium: Had a Elemis facial with Daniela - the experience from start to finish was bliss. It was professional, caring, gentle and the results were outstanding! Ive been glowing since. Cant wait to go back and try the spa!

Southgate Leisure Centre: what do users think?

selda C: Came to swim with our toddler but unfortunately, never again. We’ve been coming here for years, used to be members too but not anymore. The place hasn’t improved at all over the years. You should be able to come for a swim and get changed without freezing! My toddler was shivering when we got her into the changing rooms. Doors don’t lock in the cubicles, its really dark which makes life harder and its absolutely freezing. Yes covid has impacted everyone and cost of living is rising but I’m sorry, if you’re going to provide a service then it needs to be done properly. A real shame Only plus side is the poolside was warm.

James Hennessy: Google reviews go back 6 years detailing the not fit for purpose website, non-existence of other forms of communication, poor response rate over e-mail and telephone, and the (at best) hit and miss helpfulness of the reception staff. It really should not be this difficult to have a swim in a public pool. It is past time that someone was hired who is capable of managing this place.

Maria Kemal: The communication is appalling , I’ve sent numerous emails to enquire about swimming lessons for my 6 year old grandson, I get a reply back saying they will contact me in 72 hours…..nobody has contacted me and this is now been going on for 2 months. When you ring the centre nobody answers the phone and you are directed to a voicemail that says no more messages can be left as it’s full. It’s just totally unacceptable.

Lelo: Southgate It is a great centre, staff very friendly, beautiful swimming pool, I highly recommend Southgate Leisure Centre .

Abid K: Great local gym and swimming pool. The gym equipment is a bit worn but totally useable. There is a huge variety of equipment. I like the Wattbikes that have the MTB cleat pedals which is good for winter indoor cycling. A great mix of gym machines and free weights. There also lots of fitness classes which are heavily subscribed to by women, just book your place online. The swimming pool is very deep, about 5m in the deep end but 0.9m in the shallow end. There are lots of swim classes throughout the week. The changing rooms are clean with cubicle showers and changing cubicles too. Lockers are big just bring your own padlock. Parking is free but gym users need to type in their car reg in reception.

Sarah Page: The pool is a great size & has potential. But the centre is always dirty, most of the staff are unhelpful and no one ever answers the phone.

Igor P: Nice place and great swimming pool, but fusion-lifestyle app ruins all the positive. Impossible to book anything for 2 weeks now.

Newham Leisure Centre: what do users think?

Kazi Mahbub: There is no slot booking system or slot availability on every Friday as we are keep trying to do it for past few moths as there is no availability after 5 pm and no slot is available over there. We spoke to manager last time and she advised it has go through online only but there is no availability for past few months and we understand that it’s been simply disabled form their inside official site as they don’t want open it for public. I believe the central management should take initiative for it unless they don’t want take care of local people heath and physical improvements.

Doyinsola Adebanji: Every week swimming at Newham leisure centre. Swimming staffs are friendly and lovely. Enough parking staff for everyone. However, Newham is not always clean. Changing room is most times dirty, have to call management on few occasion to get the place cleaned. Also depending on where your child is swimming, you may not get a view and have to stand by the pool to see them! Either way, my children enjoy going swimming here.

Mohammed Mamun-ur-Rashid: Good place to do activities. This place use to be very good before but since covid so many facilities has been cut down. Badminton use to be from 7am to 11 pm on week days and week ends till 9pm. Now week days only till 8pm and week end 5pm. Poor lighting on the sectors. Looks like poor maintenance. Wish it will come on its old state.

Beartherabbit: Okay gym equipment. But the £30 price tag is not worth it. What’s the point when you can’t get all the classes, only those before 4pm. People have work until 6/7. Very fustrating. Better gyms out there

Andrew Dalton: East London JKA Karate classes are good. Large changing rooms, showers and toilets in good condition. Bench seats in the hall. Big sports hall and helpful staff.

muhammad jan: I use this centre for badminton. However the courts are not well maintained. The floor needs deep cleaning and it feels like you are playing badminton in Ice rink due to slippage. The lighting needs improvement as it is too dull and it is struggle to find a shuttle when you clear it high in the air.

Crypto9870: Play football here every week, decent pitch, always busy especially the 9pmSlot never available! Only downside is that the middle football pitch (pitch2) should have higher side s on both ends as the ball keeps going over! Maybe a net or could help? Priced well.

Fitness First Highbury: what do users think?

Nima: The gym tries to be a bit more premium by having a sauna, steam room, pool. But it lacks the essentials that budget gyms have such as enough equipment for the demand, enough weights, etc. The equipment they do have is old school and feels like good quality, it just needs a lot more. I feel like the membership price warrants more than just one lat pulldown machine and a single (that I could find) 5kg plate. Come on!
Response: Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback Nima. We will pass your comments on to the club team.

Daniel Williams: Lovely staff and great location. Unfortunately the gym is often overly busy and there isn’t enough space to accommodate the number of guests. The gym has become a little tatty and needs upgrading, it often feels unclean even though there are often cleaners around. As others have noted in other reviews, the pool is pretty disgusting and people just go straight from sweating in the stream room / sauna into the swimming pool to cool down. It’s a shame as the gym has good potential - it just seems far too expensive for what you’re getting.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback Daniel, sorry to hear you are disappointed. Please contact our membership services team at membershipservices@fitnessfirst.co.uk we will be happy to look into this further for you. Thank you.

mag380uk: This is a very good gym. It has most of the facilities you could wish for - weights area, sauna, steam room and swimming pool. The staff are all very friendly and it feels like a nice small community between staff and members. Sometimes you have to wait to use some of the equipment in the main weights area as it’s not the biggest but it’s not a massive issue and it wouldn’t stop me from recommending this gym to someone looking to join
Response: Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback. We will ensure all of your great comments are passed on to our friendly club team at Highbury.

Hattie and Dan: Too many memberships have been sold, it’s often far too busy and there is not enough space or equipment. It’s gotten fairly tatty now and needs some work - the changing rooms often smell really bad. There is a sauna and a steam room, and it’s become a bit of a joke that there’s always one of them that is out of order. The equipment itself is fine, slightly older but does the job.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback, sorry to hear you are disappointed. Please contact our membership services team at membershipservices@fitnessfirst.co.uk we will be happy to look into this further for you. Thank you.

Eleodora Zurita: Awful place, lazy reception without skill. Layer they sell the sauna services and I paid for it, was broken, every week the different receptionist said next week is available, never I saw available it. I choose the the option one month no contract,I guess it not like this, they said to me you pay every month. The clean is so rude ,every time she complain in the change room, the place was dirty. They stop my membership before finish a send a complain never answered to me.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback Eleodora, sorry to hear you are disappointed. Please contact our membership services team at membershipservices@fitnessfirst.co.uk we will be happy to look into this further for you. Thank you.

Marilyn Macalast: Echoing what a lot of others have said in their reviews - swimming pool gets horrible because people just it to cool down after being in the sauna. The changing rooms and general faculties are just a bit worn out and badly need upgrading - it was a good place a few years ago, it’s aged and they’ve sold too many memberships.
Response: Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback Marilyn, sorry to hear you are disappointed. Please contact our membership services team at membershipservices@fitnessfirst.co.uk we will be happy to look into this further for you. Thank you.

Aquilla Health & Fitness Club: what do users think?

ginoti morgan: Unfortunately , i had such a terrible experience during my membership period. Jacuzzi pool was closed for 3 months , steam room was on and off every months, the staff was not helpful at all, cold and dirty floors and etc . Do not do the same mistake, do not join them , daylight money robbery

Robert Wilson: The phone number for this gym reaches “you’ve dialled an incorrect number”. If you’re going to run a business, the most basic requirement is to ensure your google map listing & website is up to date.

Lily Ash: Anna in the fitness club has zero customer service.. The wet flooring in the changing area not handled appropriately.

Veronica Martin: Enjoyed a wonderful Twilight Package on 10 August. The masseuse was perfect, staff extremely helpful and ambience was excellent. Thank you Rembrandt especially Francesca, Ishi and SpaSeekers.
Response: Dear Veronica Martin, Thank you for your great review of your Twilight package. I will make sure your kind words about Francesca are passed onto her. We look forward to welcoming you back to Aquilla Health & Fitness soon. Kind regards, Matthew Berry Group Health Club and Spa Manager

Teresa Donoghue: I had a really lovely spa day with afternoon tea, with my daughter. The spa was lovely, even though there were swimming lessons for small children there was plenty of room for us in the pool. We had a fantastic massage from Adele who was really friendly. The afternoon tea was delicious and with so much food we couldn’t finish it. I would recommend this spa for a lovely treat.

Von Blanc: Superb - genuinely all I have missed during lockdown is going here daily. Fabulous staff Facilities are lovely My only regret in giving them a 5* (well deserved) review is that it will mean they will become more popular!

Katerina Botseva: Very outdated place. Anna at reception has no customer service skills. The average age of the clients is probably 65 - 70 years old. With that said these ladies are very nice and chatty if you have time for that. But the place is not for vibrant, gym enthusiasts. The only positive point is the warm swimming pool.
Response: Dear Katerina, I am sorry to read your review of Aquilla Health and Fitness Club. I am keen to get some more details of your experience with us. Please contact me directly on mberry@sarova.com and I would be happy to talk to you. Kind regards, Matt

Stamatis Anastasakis: Wonderful facilities, spa, sauna, pool, private gym. I strongly recommend this place in South Kensington

Lux: Very nice massage while the pool was more a paddle pool with ongoing kids swim classes. Bubbles were very low in the jacuzzi and no bubbles were served in the bubble&spa package.

The Circle Gym and Spa: what do users think?

Zara K: I had a great experience at the Skin Lounge spa. The spa itself has luxury feel, and their wide range of treatments really exceeded my expectations. My deep tissue massage was not only incredibly relaxing but has really relieved my muscular pain. I feel rejuvenated and so relaxed! I strongly recommend one of their highly talented therapists.

Alina Mihai: Have booked my first Swedish massage session and it was one of the best experiences I had in a long time. Room temperature and ambients was amazing. Should you look for an hour of heaven, please do try Circle Gym and Spa. Thank you Veronica for such an incredible experience ✨

Camilla Dent: Best gym I’ve ever joined. The stand out feature of the Circle is how quiet it stays, it’s really helped my confidence when using weights. The pool, sauna and steam room are also great to use post the gym. I’ve tried a few classes and they’ve all been great, a really good variety. Overall I would highly recommend!

Elena Luciano: The Circle has been an incredible finding in South London. Their staff is always welcoming and kind, specially their classes whose instructors have given special care to my special conditions. The facilities are always clean and never overcrowded despite the time I visit. I would recommend this place without a doubt :)

Cal Exor: Didn’t renew my membership. A difficult decision for me given length of time I’ve been coming and convenience but this place is going down the pan, isn’t what it used to be and there are better options nearby. Far better under previous management. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired and many of the facilities are broken or don’t function for days on end. To top it all off the blonde, mid 60’s, manager and her pink sidekick seem to spend half their time haranguing their employees in front of customers and the other half flirting with customers. The only positive point I can think of at the current time apart from the size of the pool is the treatment room section: they offer a great service but you don’t need to be a member to use them anyway. My honest advice: spend your fees on a club that invests in itself and has a pleasant environment. n.b. Don’t believe half the recent reviews, these are clearly fake and paid accounts with 1 to 2 reviews each.

Iris Jimenez: Great location and attrezzature. Staff are incredibly professional and helpful. I lome the vibe of the gym. the gym is so bright and really beautiful decorated. The swimming pool is amazing and i cant recommend this place enough. And the guy who was in reception was so gentle, all the staff is amazing:)

DMT Swimming Lessons In London: what do users think?

Ashutosh Parande: David and his team are the best swimming teachers we have encountered. David taught me to swim and has helped me improve my swimming since. He has also taught my daughter and coaches her. My daughter now swims competitively and relishes her swimming, it is all thanks to David. He is clear, structured in his teaching and has a great balance of pushing his students to learn more while enjoying themselves in the pool.

Rebecca Carr: Dave and Magda are brilliant instructors! Warm and friendly whilst picking up on even the smallest mistake and helping you fix it. As a confident adult swimmer, I first went to DMT swimming to help improve my front crawl technique and stamina with a view to one day doing a triathlon... then lockdown happened and once the pools reopened swimming was great rehab for a hip injury I sustained during this period... The team push you to be your best, whilst supporting you and making you feel at ease. The lessons are adapted to your needs and however easy or difficult the session, they are always great fun. I always come out of the water feeling amazing! Whether you are a first time swimmer, a seasoned pro or somewhere in between the team at DMT can help.

Archana Jagannathan: David and his team are absolutely the best. My whole family - my husband, me and my daughter have learned from him. He’s got the perfect blend of encouraging you and pushing you to do more and swim better. And is particularly awesome with kids. My 8-year old started with a feaR of the water and is now a confident, good swimmer who loves to swim — and credit for that is entirely to David. No other swim instructor I’d rate higher !!

Rachel Stark: DMT swimming teach both my 10 year old and 6 year old children and I have also had adult lessons with them to improve my technique. Dave and his team are all incredibly friendly and my kids love their lessons and have made rapid progress. The teachers manage to ensure they have fun during the lessons but also improve their technique and stamina. I highly recommend them!

Jill Chung: I was taught very badly at school and never got beyond breaststroke at which I was hopeless. I never enjoyed swimming, gasping like a fish out of water after only one length and nearly drowning 10 years ago - I’d try to avoid it as much as I could. Signing up with Dave and his amazing team was the best decision I have made. I hesitated at the expense at first but it is worth every penny. From being only able to do breaststroke badly with little confidence in the water, after 10 hours of tuition I’m now able, without embarrassment, to swim front crawl with bilateral breathing, swim breaststroke better, can dolphin kick, have better endurance and am no longer afraid of the water. Sinead has been my main instructor. She has made me feel so confident, paced my learning just right, is so encouraging and is really good at explaining technique. Magda has covered on a couple of sessions and she is an equally great instructor. I am having so much fun. I love swimming so much now I can’t wait to go to the pool. My only regret is I didn’t discover DMT sooner, all those missed years of swimming. Thank you Dave, Sinead, Magda and the rest of the team.

Yeji Williams: I’ve had a series of swimming lessons with David and Magda and I can’t recommend them enough. From the first lesson they made me feel so comfortable and eased me into the swimming techniques. They’re incredible trainers and I’m so happy I got back into the pool with DMT- absolutely no regrets!

Mark Evans: David and his team are brilliant. David and Sinead did an amazing job teaching both our sons to respectively swim and swim quickly and efficiently. They actually teach excellent technique, rather than simply making them them do endless lengths as some teachers we tried before. We can recommend very highly.

Salma Khan: DMT - has helped me with my confidence and swimming skills. Dave and his team are very personal and considerate. I would recommend Dave to anyone looking to learn to swim or take their swimming to the next level.

Jimena Miranda: Great great team- I’ve been going for the last few weeks and already feeling a more confident confident. David is so attentive and very responsive and Sinead is a great instructor. 100% recommend DMT

JM O: David & Magda provided a great training. They are patient , kind and also fun .Finally learned to swim correctly at last 🤔😉I have recommended them without hesitation!

Acton Centre: what do users think?

Vikash Gandhi: Small male and female changing rooms. 4 group changing rooms and only 2 family cubicles. Group showed = only 3. (1of which is broken) Location is good and bus stops right out side. If not a member getting booking can be challenging as they have very limited spaces for swimming due to a limited amount of life guards they have. Venue is clean.

Nojus Pakenas: Needs a bit of maintenance like more hairdryers and improved showers but overall completely adequate. Good pool temperature, warm changing rooms. Not at all dirty and crowded on a weekday afternoon, however a completely different picture in the evening. Eight people in one fast lane with absolutely no management when some should clearly be in other lanes.

Adri F: The swimming pool could have good potential but otherwise it is exasperating to receive such poor treatment to the customers after paying a lot for four classes of 30 minutes a month. Everything is incredibly dirty and stinky. The staff in reception is rude and unfriendly, they need to find educated and kind people for that job. The lifeguards are not doing their job. Unfortunately worst pool I have ever seen, needs a manager change asap

Blooming Balloons: I would like to write this review Just because the service I received from Vera from the contract team . This lady is star , Helpfull, nice talking and very Passionate for her job she helped me with everything patiently I would like to thank her from here .

sandra abreu: Barely anyone at reception most of the time no one Very poor customer service been trying to call all day today and yesterday and no one answers the phone …. Also ladies gym could do with a spring clean
