Cally Pool & Gym: what do users think?

VL MC: This is a very old but incredible place ..still very good and the swimming teachers are incredible

Jason Baker: Nice pool

Anna Farcas: Amazing place amazing beautiful person... I love to be there....me and my baby daughter I'm enjoying all the time 💞

philip may: Really nice people

Carol Walters: Staff very helpful- changing rooms could be swept more often

Sigita Latveniene: Brill!

Cheeky Cat: Swimming, was also splendid, but the hygine isnt well. Once you have gone inside the changing room, the floor is wet with water, that is brown, that brings a high chande of getting a verucca. So I think that they should hire cleaners. Thx for the great swim!

Amanda Lang: . Don’t we all love our Cally Pool!!!

Sakira Macdonald: My daughter does swimming here and has learned so much I really like the teachers especially Liam he goes above and beyond for the kids. In terms of front of house staff Farakhan and Dillon and the lady who works mornings do their absolute best to cater to our needs and are extremely helpful. Cally pool looses a star because the new GM is dismissive and has no clue how to talk to people, I’m absolutely appalled and can see a downturn in service in the past couple of weeks since he has been there.

Lesley Morgan: Very pleasant colleague on Front Desk..friendly & helpful. Only 1 family changing cubicle seen...had to change baby on knee. Looked quite clean.

Omar Daniel: If I ever want to set up a hospitality / retail business I'm stealing all the staff. Only improvement would be a coat hanger in the gym.

Wasay Khan: Very clean

Supreet Singh: Beautiful place for appointment , dine, and relex

Shima Hosseini: I go here most of the time for swimming and also for sauna but I was not happy with the changing rooms they are very dirty

egypt forever: Very good

mighty pika: Love the gym. Gym is organised well following covid regulations. Book session in advance...

Sniper Wolf: gym is very nice and friendly, everyone keeps to themselves

Elena Williams: As you'd expect from a local non-profit leisure centre. Friendly staff, nice instructors. Some classes/instructors are cliquey but overall they're good and the other members are friendly. Gym is OK. Not an insta or tiktok gym, fortunately. Great pool, but more could be made of it like aqua aerobics and HIIT classes. Pool changing room can get very grotty, esp by the afternoon. But I like this place.

gabor nagy: We have been there for family swimming, clean and tidy place I recommend it for everyone!

Eli Bowes: Ive been to quite a lot of archery classes here and can happily say that the experience is always good. The instructor is incredibly knowledgeable and approachable. He helps people of all levels and seems to have limitless patience. The equipment is generally good quality, a bit old or worn perhaps but perfectly serviceable and safe - and free to use.The general staff are all friendly and helpful as well. I can't comment on any of the other facilities or classes however.

Daria D: I'm a fan of open shoot archery.Instructor gives you attention and good tips how to improve your shooting skills.

Adrian Field: Good pool

mamima4: Love it! 😊 Great people working there, nice atmosphere ❤

Eliza Palos: Great place👍🏻

D G: I can finally swim, thanks to adult swimming sessions here. I came across the lessons by chance and tried to book for a while. They're very popular, so I am eternally grateful to have had a few terms with the ever-positive and patient, instructor extraordinaire - Eileen!

Zee Dee: My daughter had her 7th birthday party here. We chose a bouncy castle party and it was great! All of the children had so much fun, the staff were great with them and kept them well entertained. Two bouncy castles and lots of games set up. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful in providing things we needed and they really made my daughters party fun. Highly recommend for kids birthdays.

alex vernon: The pool was nice and the slide was fun.Frances the lifeguard was helpful and friendly. The only part that let the experience down was a lifeguard with no name badge

Jay M: This is my weekend gym, and I love it. The gym is decently taken care of, and very spacious, they just need to improve on maintenance. The leisure centre is great, some really fun spin and boxing classes, swimming is great and the sauna/ steam room are good. Special shout out to Floyd who leads the Boxfit and Spin Cycle classes on Saturday mornings - he's excellent and determined to keep everyone motivated and going. I always look forward to my weekends now, especially on Saturdays!

George Oliver: Thoroughly enjoyed my aquarobic session. Tired now...

Z: I attend the Swim for Women here and it is a good experience. It does run at the same time as the Swim Doctor Swimming Lessons which I find to be a little disruptive but I suppose they make the most of the women's only slot. I would advise the staff to prepare the pool area beforehand though with the correct signs in the correct lanes as well as reminding everyone to swim in the right direction. The toilets in the changing rooms however do need a good clean. All women of all abilities attend here which is nice to see. The cost of hiring a locker is a £1 coin which you can get back after you're done using it. The bus stops right outside the centre. All-in-all, a good experience.

Abraham Hanif: I'm really happy with this place, even though you're supposed to book online, I just turned up after checking if spaces were available. Then I paid and enjoyed a great swim. The cleanliness of the changing area and the pool area and pool water was excellent. And you get your £1 back when you use the lockers, I was told to use a trolley token. Nice. 😁

Rohima Begum: Another better gym I used for the pool. Nice and clean

J S: Amzing place to take the kids after school for a swim for all session, the kids can play in the slides and games area and adults can have their swim in the big pool lanes. Ill be definetly coming back many times.

Gilbert Tavernier: I called for information staff was helpful...told me what I need to know.

Niall Moran: Amazing value, has everything. Great staff. Lovely people.

Moss Akrami: It's a good place to start learning swimming and other sports. My daughter is going swimming, and I really like this leisure centre.

Tiziana Rizzi: As a North American living in London, I was finding it very difficult to find a pool where my husband and I can bring our 8 month old daughter swimming whenever we want, without having to commit to full gym’s membership. We decided to give this place a try and so happy we did! I was impressed that for a public pool the building was modern, as were the pools. It’s nice to have 3 pools to choose from being the main one, the medium one where lessons were taking place so couldn’t use it during that time, and the paddling pool. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t busy at all. The pools and areas were clean although the floors could have been a bit cleaner, but as we had the paddling pool to ourselves that was the cleanest area. The paddling pool was perfect for our baby, which was initially closed as there was no life guard but a member of staff called one over right away for us to be able to use it which was very nice. It was slightly cold and needs to be warmer, we were told it was supposed to be the warmest, but the medium sized pool seemed to feel more. The changing/shower facilities are basic and could be a bit cleaner but again decent for a public pool. There’s also hair dryers which is nice. We also noticed basketball courts which seemed great. In our experience the staff members were nice and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again!

John Docherty: Clean, modern, good facilities.

Carl Busani: Nice gym.

Charlie XY: Nice enough leisure centre and well equipped but pricey as expected.

Daniel Tavarez: one of the best with large activity spaces

wahida “Dida” IGH: Clean and tidy place. Professional staff. Worth the time and the money. I highly recommend for your fitness and wellbeing.

Roger STY Phillips: 11/10

AYA UK DRIVING SCHOOL: So beautiful place to visit

Nafis Hossein: Staff more helpful than e.g. Tottenham green. Nicer seating for the pools. Still run by fusion - so you have same admin issues re: swim school

Robert Pearce: I use the swimming pool only which is good and 33 metres long so great for Lane Swimming. However the men's changing room and showers are not well maintained or kept clean as they should be. Staff are friendly.

Paul Varcoe: Went for a look around and impressed with centre and very friendly helpful staff

Deborah King: Love this pool, showers. Hot. Staff so helpful, especially manager

Eloise B: I've been having PT sessions with Reka and she is fantastic!!! She listened to my goals and prepares for every session, and every session is great, pushing me to my limits but I'm still having a great time ☺️ thank you so much Reka! Would totally recommend Reka as a PT, such a superstar talent!

CharlieChinaTV Official: The service from Tina, Reka, Tommy, Bill, and Kurt have been world class in every way. The challenges are excellent and they all really help to create a fun environment. Also the club manager Peter Horvath is a true legend - he even took time out of his schedule to help me train 💪

Marwan M.H: A nice place for exercise, but as is the case, and the iron equipment is limited. It has a bar and dumbbells, as is the case. It is nice for cardio, and it has a swimming pool, sauna, steam, and locker rooms. In other words, it is nice and good for spending an enjoyable time in.

Sanny Jacko: Very clean facilities

Baglan Rhymes: Reka is the most knowledgeable trainer I've ever worked with. She understands movement, injuries, isolating muscles and she trains me specifically for polo 🐎. DMT Swimming Lessons In London: what do users think?

Jimena Miranda: Great great team- I’ve been going for the last few weeks and already feeling a more confident confident. David is so attentive and very responsive and Sinead is a great instructor. 100% recommend DMT

Rebecca Carr: Dave and Magda are brilliant instructors! Warm and friendly whilst picking up on even the smallest mistake and helping you fix it. As a confident adult swimmer, I first went to DMT swimming to help improve my front crawl technique and stamina with a view to one day doing a triathlon... then lockdown happened and once the pools reopened swimming was great rehab for a hip injury I sustained during this period... The team push you to be your best, whilst supporting you and making you feel at ease. The lessons are adapted to your needs and however easy or difficult the session, they are always great fun. I always come out of the water feeling amazing! Whether you are a first time swimmer, a seasoned pro or somewhere in between the team at DMT can help.

Yeji Williams: I’ve had a series of swimming lessons with David and Magda and I can’t recommend them enough. From the first lesson they made me feel so comfortable and eased me into the swimming techniques. They’re incredible trainers and I’m so happy I got back into the pool with DMT- absolutely no regrets!

Mark Evans: David and his team are brilliant. David and Sinead did an amazing job teaching both our sons to respectively swim and swim quickly and efficiently. They actually teach excellent technique, rather than simply making them them do endless lengths as some teachers we tried before. We can recommend very highly.

JM O: David & Magda provided a great training. They are patient , kind and also fun .Finally learned to swim correctly at last 🤔😉I have recommended them without hesitation!

Jill Chung: I was taught very badly at school and never got beyond breaststroke at which I was hopeless. I never enjoyed swimming, gasping like a fish out of water after only one length and nearly drowning 10 years ago - I’d try to avoid it as much as I could.Signing up with Dave and his amazing team was the best decision I have made. I hesitated at the expense at first but it is worth every penny. From being only able to do breaststroke badly with little confidence in the water, after 10 hours of tuition I’m now able, without embarrassment, to swim front crawl with bilateral breathing, swim breaststroke better, can dolphin kick, have better endurance and am no longer afraid of the water.Sinead has been my main instructor. She has made me feel so confident, paced my learning just right, is so encouraging and is really good at explaining technique. Magda has covered on a couple of sessions and she is an equally great instructor. I am having so much fun.I love swimming so much now I can’t wait to go to the pool. My only regret is I didn’t discover DMT sooner, all those missed years of swimming.Thank you Dave, Sinead, Magda and the rest of the team.

david weinberg: David Tatler is the very best swimming teacher I have come across. He has a fantastic technique of explaining the different strokes.Well worth a lesson!

Salma Khan: DMT - has helped me with my confidence and swimming skills. Dave and his team are very personal and considerate. I would recommend Dave to anyone looking to learn to swim or take their swimming to the next level.

Rachel Stark: DMT swimming teach both my 10 year old and 6 year old children and I have also had adult lessons with them to improve my technique. Dave and his team are all incredibly friendly and my kids love their lessons and have made rapid progress. The teachers manage to ensure they have fun during the lessons but also improve their technique and stamina. I highly recommend them!

Archana Jagannathan: David and his team are absolutely the best. My whole family - my husband, me and my daughter have learned from him. He’s got the perfect blend of encouraging you and pushing you to do more and swim better. And is particularly awesome with kids. My 8-year old started with a feaR of the water and is now a confident, good swimmer who loves to swim — and credit for that is entirely to David. No other swim instructor I’d rate higher !!

Ashutosh Parande: David and his team are the best swimming teachers we have encountered. David taught me to swim and has helped me improve my swimming since. He has also taught my daughter and coaches her. My daughter now swims competitively and relishes her swimming, it is all thanks to David. He is clear, structured in his teaching and has a great balance of pushing his students to learn more while enjoying themselves in the pool.

Rebecca Kerschbaum: Absolutely amazing. I thought that I would never be able to swim more than 20 lengths in my life and after 2 weeks I can already do triathlons!! Love the service.. simply the best!!

Dinesh Patel: David is a real character, and his ability to get you comfortable in the pool was a major thing for me. Enjoyed the sessions immensely and now have the confidence and ability to swim on my own.
