London School of Digital Marketing: what do users think?

C Hunter: I have just finished the Search Engine Optimisation (Helping Businesses to Rank High on Google) course with London School of Digital Marketing. I do not usually leave reviews but I felt compelled to as Marriot‘s delivery was great. The course was 4 hours long (which flew by), packed with information and golden gems! I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn more about SEO.
Response: Hello Cherelle, Thank you for leaving us such a great a review. As someone that does not leave reviews often, it goes a long way and hope it serves as a testament to those thinking of studying a course with us. We are happy you found the course beneficial. We will pass the message to Marriott. Have a lovely day, LSDM Team

Finished Word: Attended a very informative, beneficial and well-delivered course on Digital Marketing. Marriott gave great insight demystifying SEO and providing hands-on guidance on marketing, analytics and tailored strategies. Looking forward to completing the final stage and implementing what I have learned via this company.

John Consterdine: Many thanks to Marriott and The London School of Digital Marketing. From first contact and discussion about which course suited my needs, to delivery of the course. My expectations have been exceeded in all aspects of Digital Marketing. Marriott shares his wealth of knowledge freely, in an easily understandable and patience manner, making learning a pleasure. Thanks Marriott.

James Pettecrew: I followed the Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing here and found it to be a really useful grounding in all the key areas. Marriott was really friendly and provided lots of insight from his time in the industry which made the material both very relevant and easy to grasp. He made it very clear that he wanted us to ask any questions relevant to our own situations as we went along and this has given me some valuable action points to promote my business. Highly recommended.
Response: Hello James, Thank you for a great 5* testimonial. We will certainly pass the compliments to Marriott. We are glad you enjoyed the Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing and found the material to be relevant to your business situation. Wishing you the best of luck with your web design business, LSDM

David: I absolutely loved the 3-day course delivered by London School of Digital Marketing, whereby we covered; SEO, PPC, and Social Media. Our tutor (Marriott) was excellent and made the class feel relaxed and comfortable from the outset. All the content was well-delivered and went into just the right amount of detail, which was engaging and very informative. I have no doubt at all, that this course has developed my digital knowledge and I am really looking forward to the next chapter of my digital journey.
Response: Hi David, Thank you for such kind words and an awesome 5* review! The professional diploma is certainly our most popular course because of the modules it covers and it's hyper practical. We're delighted knowing the course has exceeded your expectations and upskilled you. We hope this serves as a testament to those who are still reserved about virtual learning. All the best with your digital marketing journey, LSDM

School of Marketing (SoM): what do users think?

Eileen Mehta: Friday mornings for the past 18 months have been something to really look forward to due to the very uplifting School of Marketing ‘the places we’ll go’ broadcast. I feel fortunate to have watched some very interesting guests giving their many and varied stories of success and often succeeding in the face of adversity. The individual journeys are indeed inspiring. Hosting the show, Mark and Ritchie not only bring out the very human side of their guests but also highlight their remarkable achievements as an incentive and motivation to viewers.

Kevin McQuillan: Hugely enjoyed the recent Digital Marketing course I and members of my team at DC Thomson undertook with the guys at School of Marketing. Really enjoyable and varied course with personable tutoring by way of Ritchie, Luke and Amber. Highly recommend for teams looking to learn or polish their paid and performance marketing skills.
Response: Thank you Kevin, it was a pleasure having you on the programme.

Vinit Mehta: Positive: Professionalism, ResponsivenessSchool of Marketing successfully placed an apprentice for us earlier this year - and it’s worked out better than we hoped. The whole process from start to finish was extremely professional: selection, communication and, of course, the quality of the candidate. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

Alfonso de la Osa: Positive: Professionalism, ValueI have been really impressed by the calibre of teaching and programmes at the School of Marketing. As someone who is an avid learner they have become my go to place for marketing insights and the latest thinking on what’s happening across the industry. Totally recommend. Great experience. Great people.

Kevin Barrett: Positive: Professionalism, QualityRitchie and the team provide inspiring and thought-provoking content. If you are keen to be better, whether at the start of your career or a senior marketeer, the SoM has something to offer you. They bring focus, energy and fun to curious marketing minds.

Nadine MinibutMighty: I took the Level 3 integrated diploma in business and management and it was great. I will absolutely recommend it to everyone that wants to learn in an easier and faster way. Thanks to the tutor, he helped us a lot with his love for the course and his students.

British Academy of Digital Marketing: what do users think?

Lisa Bradley: When training and events were cancelled at the start of the pandemic, I began to work more on the digital marketing aspect of my role with Employee Management Ltd. Since my skill-set was mainly self-taught, this new direction gave me an idea of looking into online courses to upskill in my existing role and boost my digital marketing knowledge. After hours of research, I finally found the right course for me and enrolled on a Digital Marketing Diploma with the British Academy of Digital Marketing. Being a busy working mum, I chose to study online at my own pace, with the comfort of knowing course tutors were contactable through the online learning centre to provide support, knowledge and feedback. I have 3 years to complete the online diploma, and after 18 months I am almost three quarters of the way through it. The course has not disappointed and I have learnt so much. We have covered topics ranging from the evolution of the internet to social media marketing and SEO! The assignments briefs are very clear and easy to understand, and there is always the online forum for additional guidance with answers to questions/issues other students have raised. Although it has sometimes pushed me out of my comfort zone, (which is not a bad thing), the course has given me the confidence to apply my digital marketing knowledge to my ever-evolving role. My employers are delighted with my new areas of expertise and always welcome my input. Both myself and my employers are seeing the benefits of the course and I would highly recommend it.
Response: Hi Lisa, Thank you so much for sharing such detailed feedback on your experience with the Academy! We are glad you are enjoying your course and gaining the skills and confidence you needed to boost your digital marketing knowledge and apply it in your role. I will be sure to pass along your amazing feedback to our tutors. They do go the extra mile for their students so they will be delighted. We wish you all the best with the rest of your course and will be here to support you along the way! Kind regards, Tomás

ore4rills oreoluwa: British Academy of Digital Marketing is the best. The tutors and staff are always ready and available to help at anytime. Classes are interactive which makes learning interesting.Querries/issues are treated with immediate effect.
Response: Hi, Great to hear your feedback about the course and the Academy! We appreciate it, thank you so much. We are sure everyone at the British Academy of Digital Marketing will be delighted to read your comment, and we will be sure to pass it along. We wish you all the best! Kind regards, Tomás

Giuliana Bellio: I recently finish my Postgraduation Diploma in Digital Marketing on the British Academy of Digital Marketing and I can say that my experience was very positive. The flexibility to complete the course in my time, do it online were some of the facts that made me to enrolled on the school. Another positive point is that the Assignments are quite practical, they require research and this is enriching because it goes beyond theoretical knowledge. I do not recommend the course for recent graduates since the lessons are more practical and they will make more sense for someone who already has experience in the job market. In general I recommend it to anyone who wants to update their knowledge in digital marketing.
Response: Hi Giuliana, Congratulations on graduating! Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the Academy, it's lovely to hear you enjoyed your time studying with us and gained the skills you needed in Digital Marketing. We wish you all the success! Kind regards, Benedita

Genesis Cimaroli: Highly recommended for those who are looking to have knowledge in Digital Marketing. Very suitable for people who are looking for a good quality online course, at the beginning I was not sure about the field as I am Graphic Designer but during the course I found out I really like what is involved in this subject, I found it fantastic. Also, the tutors respond automatically, feedbacks are very useful, full of advice on how to be and do better. Personally, I have no negative comments, the course suits me and was ideally for me. I am very glad I did it!
Response: Hi Genesis, Thank you so much for sharing your feedback on the Academy. I’m sure your tutor and all the BADM team will be very pleased to read this. We are glad you are enjoying your curse and gaining new knowledge and skills. Keep up the good work! Kind regards, Benedita

Beatriu Valiente: I only did a couple of classes online and I am used to a more interactive lectures. However, the content was good and useful. I believe there is always room for improvement but their videos and online tools are very useful. After not being completely convinced whether digital marketing was for me, they gave me the full refund. This was very much appreciated.
Response: Dear Beatriu, Thank you for sharing your experience after your first class. We had good feedback on classes, but we value all feedback from students as it helps us improve, and we are sorry it didn’t meet your expectations and needs. We have contacted you to discuss this further and hear your opinion. Thank you. Wish you all the best. Kind regards, Benedita

Gabriela Scarlaciuc: I love this course. It’s easy to learn and the tutors are really there to help.
Response: Hi Gabriela, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We really appreciate it! Our team aims to give students the best possible experience, so we are delighted to hear you are enjoying your experience with the Academy! We wish you all the best with the rest of the course! Kind regards, Tomás

Advanced Damp: Bad course, do not enroll. Very unprofessional with no real life skills taught, it is all theory based. The Course is extremely over-priced. The communication was also very poor.

L P: So far so good! I do not have any complaints about it! A high volume to study and a lot of work. But is enjoyable!

Santiago Nahuel Cordoba: Is an amazing opportunity to study there, completely recommended

Muhammad Usman Env: I was looking to enrol in Digital Marketing Course. But I am concerned why it is having reviews and start under 4 i.e 3.8. Can anyone explain? Is it a good place to study marketing?

Louie Farhan: Worst uni in the whole of England. Please, whoever is reading this and thinking of going, DO NOT GO TO RAVENSBOURNE UNIVERSITY. I promise you will end up regretting it so much if you go

allistair61: I have the opportunity to attend both an open day and an interview at Ravensbourne, I found both the teachers and the student ambassadors quite informative and very helpful.

Corinne Strickett: I have recently had a very bad experience at this University. I was supposed to be acting in a short film and cancelled two projects to be involved. Communication with the students suddenly stopped last week and since then I have heard nothing. Very unprofessional and certainly not in line with my previous experience of working at Ravensbourne. I certainly will not be working for them again.

Joseph Yabao: I recently completed the Game Art course and can honestly say I came out a much better, informed, and more capable artist. As an international student the school has been very accommodating and supportive when needed. My program coordinator Amil was always very helpful and went the extra mile to ensure students reached their highest level possible. However, you must put the work in as well. As long as you work hard and attend classes you will come out ready to work in the industry.

Marco Iaquinandi: Just finished the 2 year Game Art Animation course, and although there were some issues regarding common modules and higher campus management, most aspects regarding my studied discipline were great. The Game Art Animation lecturers were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, doing everything in their power to make sure we got the most out of the 2 year course. In particular Amil (the course coordinator/lecturer) went well above and beyond to ensure we were fairly treated and given an excellent education.

Miku Shan: Studied here years ago to study. While there was some sort of support. They do not care about the students and their welfare. You pay so much for unreliable services. I have to say my impression is the same according to many reviews i decided to give mine after long time. No support for mental health and no understanding whatsoever. Somebody will not feel well and they still will force you to do things for their own benefit. If you want a healthy life don’t come here. Too much for too less. Save your cash.

Mila Maria Praschma: Did I get everything I wanted from the course? Absolutely. Regrets? None. There were many hiccups along the way regarding management of non-game art specific classes, however, everything regarding Game Art Animation was handled incredibly well. We were taught first the basics of art principles, branched into 3D modeling, learned animation techniques and specialized in either character or environment. Following this, we were given greater freedom in deciding our project focus and disciplines. Amil Metcalfe, the program co-ordinator, is the reason I signed up for this course and he is the reason I’ve completed it. He always had our backs and the whole degree course was only as good as it was because of him. Throughout the hiccups, he continued to provide the best teaching experience one man is able to. Our other lecturers were well accomplished and had plenty of knowledge which they passed to us. You’re in good hands on this course.

Yoav Landau: The masterclass with Adrian Bushby was absolutely fantastic! Adrian is a really nice, down to earth yet extremely experienced guy who was keen to answer every question that we had. He gave some interesting insight, nice stories and a lot of motivation to become a producer and engineer.

Ahmed Khan: While attending BCA college, I took sports studies and I enjoyed it a lot. There are a lot of equal opportunities and different experiences for everyone. I recommend this to everyone as it is very diverse and provides the best support to get the best possible grades as well as getting ahead after you leave the college.

Iso_Unordinary: this will be short but sweet, i really enjoy the media lvl 2 class and it’s amazing, we have amazing teachers and they’re really helpful in and out of class. would recommend😁😁😁

gesharne hewitt: As a student, love this college as whole. Even though there are grey areas vsuch as lack of communication, there are many positives, like opportunities and support with other tutors.

Sir Cannon IV: Having a great time with the L2 media course, had a lot of amazing opportunities already. You can get lots of help from professionals around the college with anything media.

Lukasz Stefanski: The college is great the course informative community friendly and the school lunch is amazing nothing more has to be said would recomend to others great expirience to be had at bce

Caroline Haywood: Thank you for a remarkable course as I have just completed the Digital Marketing Course for October 2021. I truly enjoyed the very informative and creative/colourful course content. The lessons are so easy to folly and very user friendly. The video clips makes it interesting and comprehensive. Leaving the best for last. Matt was our Tutor for this course. Thank you so much Matt for your extended support throughout the course. You are truly the “link king” and I am grateful that I attended your class. Your attention to detail in explaining a lesson has never gone unnoticed. Your patience and perseverance ensuring that everyone in the class understood what was expected of them to complete the exercises was much appreciated. I will miss the class as I truly felt part of a community and of something special. Thank you again! I look forward to attending the next course.

Eli Zahia: The Media courses are great; extremely in depth and gives a great understanding of the overall subject. It also provides you with opportunities within the industry. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming and it is very easy to fit into, especially for new students. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great, creative place.

Karen Bellamy: What an amazing place we are so lucky to have a facility like this in our borough. The theatre is an amazing space

Marco Mura: I just finished the Digital Marketing Course. Our lecturer, Matt, was really clear when explaining the topics and very patient too. You can definitely tell that he is dedicated and passionate to the field. Great experience, suggested to whoever wants to increase his knowledge about the field. It is quite hard to find other free courses that give the same services.

University of the Arts London: what do users think?

justin jaw: I am really disappointed with UAL’s service and support. I came to London specifically to study a 6 week Summer course at UAL. Upon arriving in London I receive an email stating that the course has been “unexpectedly cancelled”. With such little notice there was no way to reorganise a similar course for my time in London and now I am left without options for study. Very disappointed, I should never have chosen to study here.

Francesca Bergamin: I have just come back from a very disappointing experience. I flew to UK on Sunday to start a short course on Monday the 4th, my course was cancelled and the communications sent only 2 weeks ago went to the spam folder. But beside the unlucky email that I did not spot, 2 weeks ago I had already arranged everything to come from Holland to UK. I have been trying to call them the entire morning and no one is picking up the phone, I have been told on Monday when I was there, that I woudl have received a call where someone would have tried to find a solution, after 2 days no one has contacted me. I am extremely disappointed since I was soo looking forward to study here. I really hope to have a compensation for the extremely bad way that everything was managed, money spent, time invested and disappointment.

ATN Cars: ATN Cars provide airport transfer services to students at University of the Arts London. Our university student transfer service is popular among international students and parents alike due to the student discount , covid-safe, efficient and reliable private taxi transfer services we offer. It is easy to pick up and drop off passengers at the student residence hall. Students have said good things about their experience at this university.

Mlh Lucie: I have decided to study abroad about 3 years ago, and I do not regret it.The UAL is such a great university, amazing team of teachers and technicians. Would highly recommend it.

Xiang Liu: With high rankings, great teachers, this school is great and well known.

Chloé Lam: A very bad student service, just trying to scam money from student, very bad experience of studying here. Tutors just read the slides. The school allow tutor to BRIBE, ignore student needs.

ellie dines: Amazing tutors. Nearly everyone above them however shows no care for staff or pupils. Doesn’t feel like a place of education it feels like a factory and a money making opportunity. And not for you for them. Only two plus sides is the cafe food which either is super cheap or majorly overpriced. Huge thank you to my tutors however as they have managed to make a degree in covid so much better. <3

Water Bottle: I was doing the photography course at the university. There was a severe lack of student-teacher communication and I felt like my ideas and concepts were not taken as seriously as the other students, I felt demonised as the teachers took other students seriously whereas they were the complete opposite to me, this kind of behaviour exhibited by the teachers is appalling, no student should feel like their ideas are less significant than their peers; everyone should be treated equally and I felt this course really lacked it, I do not recommend taking this course since the teachers do not take into account students needs and ideas, like any other teacher should

Mei Constance: I’m an international MA student and with the high tuition fee, we have to deal with extremely bad wifi / internet connection on campus (both in the library and classes - all crucial places for learning.) PLEASE fix this - alongside an improvement for the lift (also the only one in the whole building which is insane. It is terribly old, slow, and doesnt even have a close button.) Really hoping for future improvements on these two issues. (Wifi connection & lift service.)

Constantine Elijah: I had my MA degree at LCC. My big thank you to my tutors and LCC management for making my studies accessible and successive! Keeping good memories of that time.

Locutus Borg: Terrific place to learn. The atmosphere here is amazing and you have open minded professors and lecturers who train students to be the masters of their fields. I have been to Goldsmiths College as well and as far as I am concerned, the LCC was way better in terms of atmosphere and class of students. At Goldsmiths I found there to be a lot more snobbery, but at the LCC there are far more open minded people and they tend to be more relaxed. When I was at Goldsmiths the academic staff likened themselves to rock stars, and the students felt they had purchased an education, and didn’t want to go through h the inconvenience of learning. At the London College of Communication, the students generally don’t take themselves that seriously and have a lot more fun. I did both my BA and MA at the London College of Communication over two different lengthy periods and I loved every minute of it. They have a great library too, with a good selection of Audio Visual Material, books, and journals. Student bar was also quite good, and I enjoyed having a shot or two of tequila as the day came to an end. The main canteen had a good selection of foods and sandwiches, but if you bring your own food you can find a place to eat it. I used to take two pieces of bread, miniature cheese, miniature Branston pickle tubs, a couple of cherry tomatoes and condiments and quickly make my own sandwich. They also sell sour Skittles and there is a good selection of crisps and drinks in the vending machines. When I was last at the LCC, the canteen had a step like structure right in the middle where students could sit, read, eat food or chat to others. The whole place feels like a work of art, and the little stationary shop is so useful. The LCC always has lots of artwork on exhibit around the college and part of it feels like a modern art gallery with fresh works of art presented very few weeks. One time they had a brilliant cardboard diorama of Discovery from the movie 2001 A Space Odyssey. You could go is for and take pictures with HAL 9000. Speaking of 2001 A Space Odyssey, I used to love hanging around the Stanley Kubrick archive in my downtime. To use the Archive, you have to look through the catalogue, choose what you want to see and then book an appointment to see the items. They don’t bring them straight away, but at the time of writing, a lot of the stuff is not accessible because some of the materials are part of the Stanley Kubrick Exhibition which is travelling the world. When I used to go to the Archive, I saw costumes from the Shining, production photographs and correspondence from Lolita and the original masks from Eyes Wide Shut. It was so cool. You actually got to hold and see the original artefacts. I have nothing but fond memories of this place. I cannot recommend UAL highly enough.

Wael Liddawi Videography: 26 july 2022 ( 10,000 Views ) International students DONT apply to study at the London College of Communication, all what they look for is your money and they don’t repect you as a student. My experience in January 2017 with them was that i was excited at first to apply and study at the LCC. The treatment was perfect at first and they kept following me and replying my emails quick till the moment i paid the fees of that short course which is more than 1700£ for 1 month study. I asked them for an invitation letter so i can attach it with the other papers to get the 6 months visa from the UK embassy. The visa has been rejected TWICE with no specific reason, I started sending the LCC emails about the situation that I tried twice to apply for the visa but it’s been rejected, but the LCC was barely caring, answering, helping or replying to my emails. I asked for a refund of the fees but they replied that there’s no refund at all with no excuses, i was shocked from that reply. LCC is a big college and it doesn’t respect a situation that happened with a student who was excited to study at their college!! I got the visa this year 2018 and I went to the LCC to meet them face to face and ask for a refund or if i can study another course this year because I already paid all the fees last year, but the man who is responsible didn’t meet me face to face also, he talked to me by phone from his office to the lobby of the LCC!! In 2017 and after i paid the fees and got my registration at the LCC, I bought the flight tickets from the British Airways. Once I showed them the visa rejection they refunded me all my money back, that was the treatment of the British Airways, a company that cares and respects its costumers situations. I just can say that LCC stole me with no respect at all.
