L. K.: After Brussels, back to London to my favourite restaurant.

Jaslyn Lim: i made the reservations with no expectations, but the west african influenced cuisine and lovely tea pairing blew me away. service was impeccable - they had the right balance of professional & friendly. we had a lunch tasting menu that was paced well. i think the non-meat dishes definitely shined more than the meat dishes, which was really surprising in a good way.the restaurant also emailed me shortly after i made my reservation to confirm & ask about dietary restrictions, which was appreciated.would love to be back someday!

Tina Z: , a broth + 2 snacks + 2 mains + 1 dessert + petits fours

Luca: what do users think?

Henry Hugon: . Probably not 1* quality, but solid especially for the price.15% service charge is excessive

Walter Carrara Loureiro Junior: Great restaurant. We got one of the outside tables, I figure the indoor seating is more comfortable in terms of noise and setting. The service was superb and the food was very good. Only complaint is that in a 2-person party, most entrees were meant to be shared, but required us to cut and serve ourselves. I would have liked it better if they came in separate plates.

nuric: A more casual Michelin starred restaurant offering really good Italian inspired dishes. The pasta dishes are well balanced and the main courses are on point. There is no doubt you will get food here. My main comment is on the atmosphere, the background music was rock and roll with upbeat tracks. It doesn't go well with the refined high quality dishes in front of you. I'm still giving overall 5 stars because they can easily change the playlist 👍

Autymn Gelette: Just a wonderful experience from start to finish. Each course was so well executed and thought out. The details were perfect. The service was above and beyond and the cocktails were fabulous. Really, really great time here! This was great for a vegetarian as the vegetarian tasting menu was perfect.Vegetarian options: Full vegetarian menu was offered. Some were even very close to the regular menu with small modifications, which I appreciated!

Vivian Pan: Always a pleasure to be back and be taken great care by the team! The space is cosy, the service is excellent, and the food is hands down one of the most unique yet familiar I’ve experienced. It may be a little off the beaten path to head over the Shoreditch, but it is well worth the effort. A big shoutout to chef Rhys and his team for executing a smashing degustation menu, Keith for the wine pairing and extensive knowledge, and Paolo and his colleagues for a seamless and joyful service!

Matthew Hegarty: . The meticulous detail of both presentation and flavours with the courses is immaculate, the wine pairings perfect and it’s fantastic meeting Australian Head Chef compatriot Reece

Marica Pensjö: En fantastisk mat+dryck upplevelse!

Minnie Chu: A memorable dinner! Definitely a must for a visit!Tried the “Tea Pairing” and it’s definitely the best one I’ve ever had❤️

John Morris: Recommended dishes Wine Pairing

Adi Iyer: . The food was presented very well but the flavours were not up to the mark for a 2 michelin star on a few courses in comparison to other restaurants of a similar caliber.Vegetarian options: The options exist but are probably not what they are famous for.

Andrew Miller: My happy place

Bernadette Minton: is mis-categorized - the porchetta is wonderful but with all the capers, and the anchovies and the sauce - the flavors are so strong and so salty

N T: Super British food. Tasty, quality ingredients and good portions. Lots of unique and traditional dishes to choose from. Their pastries / pies are also amazing. They are open to non-members while they renovate, so definitely a must try before it isn't open to the public.

Sujon Biswas: Nice

dittatorrichard: Esperienza ottima sotto tutti i punti di vista!

Alexandra Bissett: so this piquant version was a delicious surprise. The meaty pieces of smoked eel, smothered in fiery horseradish cream and Dijon mustard almost overwhelm the dish. But the sourdough bread pulled it together for me. Is the pickled onion a touch too much given the strong flavors of horseradish cream and Dijon? Perhaps, but I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful eel sandwich. The pie of the day was chicken with white sauce. The lovely crust with the creamy and satisfying filling were a perfect match. It was hearty and perfect for the rather dreary April weather. Loved this restaurant!

giulia sacchetti: Il filetto alla Wellington è spaziale!L’ambiente è molto carino ma un po’ rumoroso, ma dipende dagli ospiti presenti.Consigliatissimo!

Abbie: Brilliant meal and fantastic menu recommendations by Alex! Will definitely come again and go with what he says once more!Dietary restrictions: Lots of options for veggies.

Alexandru-Nicusor Andrei: Just dined at this awesome place. Found it randomly on maps, decided to go and it turned out amazing. My wife and I were served by Sara who was just lovely and got us really hyped about the menu and atmosphere, and the menu did NOT dissapoint. I recommend it and we will surely come again.Dietary restrictions: Our server Sara was more than accomodating in making sure my wife's menu would fit her restrictions, going above and beyond and making our experience very pleasant.

Vanghelita Andrei: The restaurant, atmosphere, food and drinks were amazing. Sarah served us and she was absolutely amazing, very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.Dietary restrictions: Gluten intolerant, pescatarian

The Ritz Restaurant: what do users think?

Greg Scholes: 4 star rating relative to Michelin starred restaurants. Obviously the food is splendid and the atmosphere is unique old school England. Great for a special occasion. We loved the langoustine appetizer, spectacular in a delicious creamy sauce. The duck was wonderful, with an exquisite shimmering sauce, just like it should be. My wife had the veal, which would have been better if more rare. For dessert we shared the banana souffle, sans chocolate sauce-- against the advice from the waiter. But it was delicious. Great place for old school charm, without the old school cooking.

Nico M: We visited for our wedding day on a Friday when the live music and dancing happens which is truly special and an amazing experience. Getting a reservation was tough so all I will say is plan ahead and hustle. Note this is not the same spot as where the afternoon tea happens.FOODWe went for the 7 course set meal which was overall fantastic, some dishes were better than others such as the red mullet and the lobster dish. The duck liver was a little too sweet for me on the other hand. I must say by the time we arrived to dessert we were stuffed and barely managed to try the two desserts that were part of the 7 course meal. Also we say 7 courses but that’s excluding two rounds of amuse-bouches before and the sweet treats they give you with your bill. So it’s more like 10 course meal. As much as I enjoyed it, I think it was excessive and I would have preferred the A La Carte choice as it includes some “experience dishes” which involve cooking in front of you as it is for the Crepe Suzette for instance or the Pigeon from my understanding. These can be more memorable experiences. However, you will then be charged a separate 55£ fee for the show part of the evening. We paid about £320 per person with barely any alcohol.ENTERTAINMENTIt started off with a live band, then live singing with the band, then dancing and finally back to the live band where customers can go to the dance floor between courses and enjoy some dancing. It’s very traditional and wholesome to watch. Once in a life experience to do in my opinion.STAFF/SERVICEThis is a 1 star Michelin and honestly as much as we befriended some of the young staff members, we thought the service wasn’t Michelin worthy. We asked for both still and sparkling but only got still. We asked for wine and this was brought 30min later. We were not offered stools for handbags as some of the other tables. The waiters kept hitting the back of my sister’s head when passing behind her. Overall all minor things that did not impact our experience but simply not the perfection you expect from the most iconic hotel in the country.Another thing you should remember is that this is an experience and you will be there for a VERY long time. We sat down at 7:45pm and left 4h later…ATMOSPHEREBreathtaking, end of. A dream come true to visit the iconic Ritz, an institution in British culture from the royals to Churchill to what it is still today. A pleasure to be there.PS: dress code is very strict

Tehila: Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options Valet

Eva: . The service was always present without being intrusive, very friendly, polite and courteous. We had a very nice evening.Vegetarian options: A vegetarian/vegan menu is offered.

Noura: .The only negative point is not related to the evening itself but concerns the communication during the booking process which I’ve found impersonal and poor for an establishment of such standard.

Lady B: Afternoon Tea at The Ritz has definitely been on my bucket list for a while and today I got to tick that off. The Ritz itself is, as I had imagined, beautiful. A feast for the eyes. The area where you eat Afternoon Tea is full of splendour and all the food was delicious and plentiful. All sandwiches & cakes were so tasty, with lots of different choices. Without us asking, we were offered extra sandwiches & scones at no extra charge. You could also have a choice of more than one kind of tea, so absolutely worth the money, but it’s not cheap at £84. Staff were very friendly and attentive. All in all I’m very happy I got to tick this off today 🤩🤩

Jean Yves Reginster: Absolutely flawlessOne of the most elegant dining room in the worldShould be praised for maintaining a drastic dress code which means that we are not polluted by guests in Bermudas, open collar or tee shirtsFantastic food, the beef Wellington is worth the trip and the Crepes Suzette deserve three starsPerfect service, elegant, courteous and professionalFantastic wine list with a great selection by the glassNot to be missedParking: Valet parking

A S: Incredible Xmas decorations in the lobby and the corridor leading up to the dining room. The decor in the main room - paintings, chandeliers, ornaments - was breathtaking and definitely lived up to the name of the venue.Service was impeccable - staff were knowledgeable, thorough and professional.Food was ornate - great for taking pictures - more dégustation, less a tummy fillerBut we’ll worth the experience.Lovely way to while away an afternoon.A treat, and a tick off the London bucketlist
