GMT Ventures Limited: Great temple
nuwani Amarasinghe: This is the best place to learn Buddhism. Very calm and peaceful.Monks are very helpful, so you can learn Lord Buddha's teachings from them. There are special programmes in meditations ,sermons, etc. All are free of charge. There is a good collection of books also. Enough parking space is available free of charge. Clean toilets with baby changing facilities are there. Highly recommend this place for spiritual wellbeing.
Surantha Wickramasinghe: I had the pleasure of visiting a Mahamevnawa Buddhist meditation centre that provides teachings on life and helps people develop a better life. The experience was nothing short of transformative. The Mahamevnawa Buddhist meditation centre is led by a group of highly experienced monks who are well-versed in the teachings of Buddhism. They are kind, compassionate, and patient with everyone who walks through their doors. The atmosphere is calm and serene, providing a perfect setting for those looking to find inner peace and learn more about themselves. The teachings provided at the center are both practical and insightful. They help you understand the nature of reality and how to live a more meaningful and fulfilling life. Through meditation and other practices, you learn how to cultivate mindfulness, compassion, and wisdom, which are key components of Buddhist teachings. One thing I particularly appreciated about Mahamevnawa Buddhist meditation centre is how accessible the teachings are. The monks are happy to answer any questions you may have, and they provide guidance and support every step of the way. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, there is something for everyone here.Overall, I highly recommend Mahamevnawa Buddhist meditation centre to anyone looking to learn more about life and develop a better life. The teachings are insightful, the monks are experienced and compassionate, and the atmosphere is peaceful and calming. It's a wonderful place to connect with yourself and with others on a deeper level.

Kovi Kannangara: Namo Buddhaya!Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery is a Theravada Buddhist organisation founded by Ven Kiribathgoda Gnanananda Thero in 1999. There are two monasteries in the UK, one in South East and the other in North West England. Mahamevnawa North England in Widnes is a newly refurbished building. This is the best Buddhist Monastery in the UK to visit, learn and practice Buddhism. It has many facilities with a big Dhamma hall to meditate, a resourceful library with books and CDs in both English and Sinhala languages, many online resources including websites, YouTube channels and live telecast 24/7. The Buddhist monks and lay people are very welcoming. It is a serene place where you find inner peace, relaxation, and mindfulness. You can collect merits and improve good virtues by offerings, donations and involving with day-to-day activities in person. It is a place where you will visit repeatedly as it is all worth being there!
Dulini Yasara Mudunkotuwa: I have attended online meditation programs conducted by the venerable monks of Mahamevnawa meditation center UK. Venerable monks have taken time every week to kindly support the meditation programs we have organized in my university for students and staff. We are really grateful for sharing dhamma teaching with us for a long time. ගෞරවනීය ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේලාට මාගේ නමස්කාරය වේවා. තෙරුවන් සරණයි.

You can attend free meditation classes. We highly recommend experience in this wonderful place.
Dr. Darshana Makavita: I have been attending an online dhamma and guided meditation session conducted by the Mahamevnawa Meditation Centre UK for two years. The venerable monks conduct the dhamma session based on the suttas of the Buddha, guiding us through the translated tripitka text and connecting it to our current practical situation. The meditations are based on recollection of Buddha and loving kindness and very helpful in developing a peaceful mind.
Tharaka Bandara: I participate in a weekly online Dhamma and Meditation programme conducted by the Venerable Thero from Mahamevnawa Meditation Centre UK. It has been going on for nearly two years now. Participating in this programme had helped me immensely to understand Dhamma and to practice meditation.
