Alice Gabriela: They should be renamed the st james practice of malpractice. They give you medication to make you more sick and refuse to send you to further investigations even if the problem you have had has occurred for 3 years. Never in 3 years of having a congestion, highly visible inflammation on my forehead in the sinus area, extreme fatigue that hasnt allowed me to function or work and kept me bed ridden up to 20 hours a day, never they have sent me to a ct scan or mri, same symptoms affecting the ears, sinuses and eyes every time, I came with the same symptoms yet the doctors would gaslight me and say they aren't related even if they would co occur and regress together along with the congestion everytime as the congestion was never treated properly.
Linob Mohan: My experience with this health centre has been nothing short of fantabulous. Dr. Lopez is a truly wonderful person and all the staff are good here. I appreciate the exceptional care and expertise provided when visiting this clinic.
Peter Kierman: I had a telephone consultation with the chemist from the practice. I asked her to ask the doctor for a prescription item. Never even had the decency to get back to me. No wonder people feel isolated from the NHS these days. It's doctor Google for me from now on.

What is usually an uncomfortable and often painful test was quick and easy and genuinely left me a little speechless at how straightforward it went considering my previous experiences at other surgeries. Incredible lady!
Katie Ellwood: wasting my time. I made an econsult because my condition wasn't bad enough for an in person visit. Was emailed back saying to make an appointment so i assumed it was worse than i originally thought. I work nights so visiting can be difficult for me. So after a long nightshift i stay awake to ring at 8am and get an appointment for 8:45am. Once i make it there im told i dont need to be there as what i need is over the counter!!! Not only wasting my time but im also taking an appointment from someone who needed it more making me feel awful for wasting valuable nhs time!!!i recommend making sure your econsults are taken more seriously to stop this from happening again.The staff are always great and are not at fault but this experience really wasnt great.

Catherine Browne: My father is 85 and has been with this surgery his entire life. I can not fault this surgery, during covid always could get an appointment, personalised care and great follow up. I have always managed to speak with a clinician even when I have called mid morning. The reception and admin team are friendly and helpfully. Nursing team show dedication and pharmacist is a real asset to the running of the surgery. This surgery shows the NHS at its very best.
Erin Boddie: Good care by the doctors but honestly I’ve never encountered such rude and unsympathetic reception staff. Every time I call I have extreme anxiety and I have to fight to talk to a doctor or get a prescription. Every little thing is too much for them. No one enjoys a trip/calling the doctors so it would be nice to be greeted with a friendly reception.

Cal Han: Never had the best experience with this doctors. I have been registered with this doctors for many years and never needed to use their services much. However since recently needing a doctors note for work, it took 3 days for them to send it over, and many phone calls from myself asking why i still hadnt received the doctors note yet to provide to my employer. The receptionsist answering calls never seem to sound happy, and never seem to have any good customer service. Also my partner orders his perscription every couple of months for the past 2 years and it is always sent over the the pharmacy late, leaving my partner without tablets for days.I am currently in the process of searching for a new doctors as this one i have never had a pleasant experience with them.

Emma Dukes: I always had great experiences with the GP but one of the receptionists caused me to have a panic attack and cry by treating me so poorly when I went to collect blood test forms. I had been asked by my GP to go to the surgery to collect them and I waited for 20 minutes whilst the receptionist ignored me and was on her computer. Eventually, she shouted over and asked why I was there because I shouldn’t be there. I said you’re open, it’s 10am and the doctor called and told me to come in for blood forms. She told me the forms weren’t there - without looking. I said no I’ve just been asked to come in so she makes me go outside and wait and locks me out. She then opens the door a crack and pushes through the form with a completely different name on. When I tell her that’s not me she says yeah it is, as if I don’t know my own name? I have generalised anxiety disorder and find it hard enough going out - especially at this time with covid, I was prescribed beta blockers on top of my anti anxiety meds because I was so anxious. Finally she gave me the correct form after having a go at me and I’m stood there crying. They also sent me to another doctors for the blood tests, but when I got there I was told they stopped doing them 6 months ago so after all that I couldn’t even have the test. I’m not a confrontational person and I definitely didn’t break any rules going to the surgery. I’m super anxious so would not have gone unless I was told to and double checked that I was allowed to with covid rules. This was probably around May 2020. I have since left the practice as I was too afraid to go back after that so when I wasn’t well I would just avoid the doctors knowing I’d have to call the receptionists

I sing from the rooftops about how good this surgery is and can’t understand any negative comments. Keep up the good work.
Cringy Fanpage: Just called the practice to ask for an appointment with my Doctor about getting some Sertraline due to anxiety and low mood issues, despite calling up with the same request and being put through to a Doctor multiple times, today I was refused access to my Doctor, refused access to my medication, falsely accused of swearing and raising my voice and given an extremely sarcastic, uncaring, cold attitude by a Nicola on reception, I love the doctors at this practice, Dr. Wong, Dr. Nielsen and Dr. Brown are amazing but this practice seriously needs to review the first point of contact for people suffering with mental health issues being so rude and nasty. I told Nicola I am working the next few days so can't put in a note like she told me I need to despite NEVER DOING THIS BEFORE and she told me "you're obviously not in work you're sat at home". So to review, she was rude, abrasive AND accused me of lying...not the best attitude for those who are suffering. I have no medication at all and she's told me I have to wait 2 days. She didn't care at all.
N D: I never write reviews but shocked by the extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist I spoke to this morning simply calling up to book an appointment. Met with an abrupt and disgusting tone when I politely called and asked if I could book an appointment. Also told as its after 10am I now have to wait til tomorrow to call again to then wait for call from the gp to assess if I need to be seen. I know I need to be seen which is why I'm calling and I would like to book an appointment in advance to arrange childcare for my 2 young children. Using COVID19 as an excuse why there is no booking of appointments is one thing but please learn some manners when someone calls up as I do not deserve to be spoken to so disgustingly.
Matthew Burgess-Evans: Firstly, having a website with online booking system is absolutely pointless if you won’t allow bookings on there or provide clear advise on how to actually get an appointment.Secondly, if the only option to make an appointment is to phone then at least make sure you have reception staff who are polite!I completely understand the strain that COVID-19 has put onto services but there is just no need for receptionists to be rude and sigh when you explain that you can’t get someone to get a photo of your issue after she’s already demanded to know what the problem is. After all of this, she then sighed and said “right, I’ll have to put down that you can’t get a photo”, said the doctor would call and then put the phone down (without actually confirming any of my contact details).This is the first time I’ve attempted to go to the practice since registering nearly 3 years ago and I will definitely be looking to register elsewhere.

Jo Sensini: Because my mother has moved away from Liverpool during the pandemic so that she’s not alone I needed to arrange to pick up her repeat prescription in the pharmacy near where she is shielding.The receptionist at the surgery was most unhelpful despite the pharmacy nearby telling me it was standard practice to receive an electronic prescription from the GP in this sort of situation. I explained time and again that none of the local GP centres were taking on new patients but the receptionist insisted this was only the way to get the prescription sorted.In the end I had to spend almost 2 hours on the phone to 111 to get a simple repeat prescription processed for my mother. Nor could the receptionist provide my mother with details of her medical records to confirm whether or not she had had a tetanus injection within the last 10 years.Very unsatisfactory and very upsetting - thank goodness my mother at 85 has me, her daughter to deal with this. You would’ve thought in these exceptional times there would be a little bit more flexibility and less bureaucracy, but no, extremely unhelpful.And also demanding that my mother register with a new GP would essentially be asking her to unshield and put her at risk of Covid.You really need to examine how you respond to this sort of query to protect your more vulnerable patients

Jack McDermott: I very highly recommend Dr Gupta. He removed a pilar cyst from my scalp within 30minutes of meeting him. Made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the procedure. I always felt as though I was in good hands, Dr Gupta was very well informed and answered any questions I had. Great surgeon who provided an excellent experience for me.
michael tomlinson: Phoned up Monday Tuesday Wednesday. For a phone appointment and was told no appointments till 12th November,, I suffer with fits and seizures. Explained this and was told, no appointments till 12th November. I have chest infection which is giving me coughing fits no sleep. And is causing me too fit and have seizures. I have a welfare officer she was told I would be phoned on a out of hours call well I'm still waiting. 10/11/21

Fermentier Vilzaparro: Impossible to get an appointment - phone continuously busy, then all appointments taken (will only book for the same day). After describing my problem I was directed to the walk-in centre. After an hour waiting there (Benim did not point out that appointments were available) I was told there was nothing they could do for me - I needed a physiotherapist or an MRI scan, and the walk-in can’t refer me for an appointment.Back to phoning the surgery next day. 150 minutes of busy phone, then no appointments when I got through and a receptionist who really didn’t care about anything except repeatedly saying I needed to call back tomorrow.Strongly recommend you register elsewhere with somewhere competent and responsive.

Ohiosimuan Femi-Aigboje: Very poor services1. Gave my wife prescription without signing2. The nurses couldn't take pap smear from my wife, they promised to send a referral to women's hospital. She waited weeks on end for the referral to no avail. They eventually told her to book another appointment for the pap smear.3. They promised to give me a call when the details for my referral to the trust was sorted. However they didnt. If I hadn't called in over 2 weeks later I wouldn't have known that the details for my booking has been made ready 10 days prior. This cost me financially and time wise as I could now only book an inconvenient time at the trust.4. After my wife booked an emergency appointment with them over the phone, on getting to the surgery staff denied that the appointment was booked despite her evidence of the telephone conversation.

kyle o'neill: As a new patient, I was anxious for my appointment. From reception, to Dr Gupta's room, I was put at ease. I attended here for a consultation regarding my Keloid Scar. Dr Gupta was able to agree a treatment plan with myself fitting the appointments round my busy work and social schedule.Since the first consultation I have been back and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Dr Gupta has great knowledge and experience, and this shows when he carries out treatments.Would fully recommend.
