Northwich Rowing Club: what do users think?
Martin Mackarel: The club hosted a head race with lots of boats, very well organised, with parking at the adjacent school.
Brian Chapman: Great rowing club with a strong Junior squad
Georgia Hughes: Very rude experience with a coach on a bike screaming at us along the river. We were a family with a sleeping baby and two dogs. There was another lady walking with another dog, the opposite direction so there was nowhere to move out of his way. He screamed and shouted at us and woke up the baby. Very aggressive behaviour and not the first time I've had a negative experience there. Just a few years ago some rowers went straight into a group of young Moor hens killing the young chick's. It was really distressing to see and there was no apology or regard for what they did even though they would've seen these birds prior to approaching from a distance. So appalling. The river and the path do not exclusively belong to this club. It is for everybody.
Natalie Rosell Hughes: Terrible manner from one of your coaches today on a riverside walk. Screaming ‘excuse me’ even though there was no way he could pass with another dog walker coming the other way. I was walking my baby and the volume you were screaming woke him up. (Thanks for that) The arrogance and rudeness was shocking. Not a very friendly and inclusive club as you claim. This is not the first time. This is a public path and there is room for everyone with a little courtesy. Please think on.
Stan Stubbs: Always a busy place,up and down the river in there boats
Woz Dyson: An awesome rowing club run by great people, with regular events on a beautiful stretch of the river Weaver, between two locks so very little flow. The club caters for all experience levels and aspirations, and does some great work in the local community too!
Ken Worthington: Take care here. I was walking past here with my wife, and we were nearly knocked into the water by some arrogant rowers bringing their boat out of the shed.
Lizzie Van Rooyen: A lovely place to row and the club organisation is very good!
Andrew Turner: Warm and friendly club. Especially thee warm bit when we visited for the Head on a cold wind swept day in January
Linda Gledhill: In a first class position right on the River WEAVER
Ren Finney: Rowing regatta....shame about the weather but a fine bacon butty
Robert “Bob” Reade: It was closed at the time i went past on my walk.
MrLewisG11: I came to the “Learn to Row” course at Northwich 9 months ago and never looked back! Brilliant supportive community feel to the club whilst being highly competitive across North West & top UK rowing eventsI look forward to continuing my rowing journey with the men’s squad in the coming months/years
Keith Thornley: Wet wet wet
Jason Knight: Good club and well organised race events.
Paul Heyes: Delivery there
Bj And Percy: A very helpful club and friendly people
Mike Osborne: Just wish the users would park with consideration for the locals.
Kris Perry: Great
Greg Alderton: Great place to learn to row.
Matthew Howse: Lovely spot
