Arun Sharma: Wonderful food that's very tasty and well priced. The buffet option is good, with limited variety but it's regularly topped up. The snacks and takeaways are the best in the best around and excellent value. Staff are friendly, however service is quite slow at times.Parking is walking distance as the restaurant is on the highstreet, and the seating area is upstairs, so caution to people with mobility issues.100% recommended!

Rahul Verma: I have recently moved to the UK. In search of a good Indian food I reached Sharmilee restaurant. I preferred buffet as I was starving. The food was awesome. The variety of items in the buffet was wholesome, right from started to main course to desserts.Since then it has been my go to place when I crave for Indian flavours.People working in the restaurant are also very polite and respectful.Thank you!

Munira sheikh: Buffet Meal with family , majority of the food was cold, so did not enjoy eating cold food, we had to keep waiting for refills , selection was not great for a buffet , chana dish was watery n lacked flavour n Patra dish not a fan , no dessert that I could see apart from jalebi and mango pulp not a dessert to me , won’t rush to go again

sumit samgi: For me this is by far the best restaurant in Melton Road, service is excellent and the food is 10/10.Usually go with family, we order the starters and they come out pretty quick even tho is freshly made, staff knows whay they doing and the service is amazing. Then the mains come out after we finish the starters and everything just gets better, the food is punched with authentic indian taste, it's like you can't get enough out of it. The freshly made parathas are amazing.After going a few times I had to get food to be catered and i'm telling you it didn't disappoint me.

Craig Cluer: The food here was great. Really good.Sadly it was the slow service that let us down. It took 7 mins for each one of the 5 dishes we ordered to be served.The rest of the party ordered a Thali. They were convinced to be served from communal pots - what a mistake. The food came slow, not all at once as a Thali normally is. One table got all the desserts the other all the dhal and rice.We asked the waiter for a drink, and were told he'll send over someone to take the order. The person arrived 10 min later, funnily enough though, this same person was a waiter.It was not busy at all during this time. Our party was 12 adults and 3 children.I doubt we'll return unless part of a family function. But the consensus of the family was the same, great food, awful service.Vegetarian options: All veg.Kid-friendliness: They had plenty of highchairs available. They did alter for food to make less spicy for my niece.

Susan Moodie: We went to Sharmilee yesterday evening (Saturday) with our two grown up children. We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent buffet which was amazing value for money. My husband and I are both vegetarian but our children aren't and they too thought the food was fantastic. We are all big fans of paneer and we were certainly not disappointed with the mutter paneer curry. The variety of curries in the buffet was super as were the puri breads and everything else. The staff were lovely, super polite and very helpful. We don't have one bad word to say about our experience and we'd all like to say a massive thank you to all the lovely team at Sharmilee, we will definitely return.Vegetarian options: Super variety, all tasty and well cooked.

Usha Lim: We have been here several times for buffet upstairs, at £8 per person, it's fantastic value. With such a varied selection of chutneys, bhajiyas, pooris, curries, daals and rice. Loved it!
