Canoes, kayaks, SUP's, katakanus and row boats are all hired on a first come first served basis from our Watersports Centre at Whitwell, we do not take prior bookings.


To hire sailing boats and windsurfing equipment, pre-booking is required with 24hrs notice where possible. Please call the centre direct.

Located on the North Shore of Rutland Water the Centre is AALA, British Canoeing and RYA certified training school. Our friendly, enthusiastic and highly qualified instructors are sure to make your day as great as it could possibly be


Please note: Rutland Watersports is closed every Tuesday and Wednesday from November through to March and no launching of craft will be permitted on those days.
