Westfields Tennis Club is located near Western Park, around a mile from Leicester city centre and is the only tennis club on the west side of Leicester. The club is tucked away in the quiet Eastfield Road cul-de-sac just off the A47 (Hinckley Road) and is signposted across from Dovelands Primary School.
The Club has four courts, all re-laid in 2019 with artificial grass, three of which have floodlights. It has a clubhouse with a small kitchen, toilets, changing rooms and showers, and outside there is a car park providing free off-road parking. We also have full wheelchair access.
We have regular club play sessions to which all members are invited, numerous teams in local leagues plus coaching opportunities for both juniors and adults of all standards. Members can also book a court and arrange their own play whenever they want.
The setting of the club in an amphitheatre of tall trees makes it a lovely place to visit.
The club has a lovely open door policy and a good choice of coaching options.
There is a very friendly atmosphere and new members are made most welcome.

The students take advantage of the fantastic facility for their curriculum tennis and providing players for the clubs teams. Sir Jonathan North College is part of the Lionheart Academy Trust.
Since 2010 the club have been successful in all levels and age groups of team tennis and in 2012 Knighton became the Tennis Leicestershire club of the Year due to its success in the AEGON team tennis competitions.

James Richards: Great space for the dome challenge and well organised. Good facilities too
Fahad Faisal: They are mostly booked on weekdays because of school and university sessions but supposedly there is availability for members on the weekend. But they keep changing their times from weekend to weekend and citing “staff availability issues”. The staff is unprofessional and give random reasons on why the courts are not available. For example, once after making a booking, a member of the staff rings me and asks if I can change my booking time so they can “go home earlier”.It is a great shame because they have the best indoor courts in Leicester.
