Harpinder Singh: Poor communication and no follow up. I believe they require a new sales team/manager as I was willing to part company with £1300 to attend a course with them. Busy maybe, but aren't we all. I received a very basic email response to my query about pass rates. Email i received back stated 20% online and 50% class room based pass rates. That's all folks. Not exactly confidence inspiring. I will book my course elsewhere, and I am sure they will welcome my money. Regards
Peter J-T: Attended a direct C+E course in Grantham. My instructor, Sam, was highly professional and made the whole experience very enjoyable. He always had good constructive criticism and guidance. These combined helped greatly in correcting my driving errors. His continuous positive attitude was also greatly appreciated.
Andy Neal: Where to start! They were recommended to me by P.W.Gates. I contacted them and right off the line they were so helpful. Customer service received was a total flip side to the company I started with. They make you feel so comfortable which when driving such a huge vehicle is a massive bonus. The level of competence and politeness is through the roof. I’d give them a 10 if I was Shirley Ballas 😉 but have no trouble in a 5. Do not hesitate in calling these people for HGV training!! Simple.

Nathan Smith: Definitely the place to go for training. From the first enquiry all the way through to training and testing these guys were brilliant. I delt with a few of the instructors (Simon, Paul and John) and they were all excellent. I learned skills that I'll apply to my professional career, not just how to pass the test I had coming up. Will definitely use these again in the future. 👍🚛

Jobie Si: I have just undergone a 5 day Class 1 HGV course through J coats Leicester. My experience from start to finish has been nothing more than brilliant. I started with the one day assessment to get a feel for driving an artic, Simon was my instructor for the hour and what a gent he was. I then booked the full HGV course and thankfully I got Simon as my instructor. He is a top man, great personality and a second to non instructor, he reassured me in times of doubt and helped me build confidence in myself, a calm collected teaching approach with a real understanding that trainees are making a big milestone in their life, coming from a teaching background myself, Simons style is very few and far between. I passed yesterday first time with 2 minors, non of which were made on the road, Simon taught me to drive a perfect drive, I even built a rapport with the mechanic, a great family unit that have paved the way for a new career in the logistic industry, I highly recommend J coats to kick start your your new journey and if you’ve never driven a lorry before, to book in the 1 hour assessment before you commit to the full course cost is around (£40). Good luck to all and thank you to J coats & especially Simon, I hope we cross paths again
Tony McVea: Absolutely awful experience using this so called training company.We will never use them again.We was paired with a trainer who had little to no experience in the area we trained. The lorry had issues resulting in us missing a day of training in the test area as we had to return to base to pick up another lorry. The entire day was spent on motorways returning the lorry.When these issues were raised with jcoates we were told they would not give us even an hours training to make up for the lost time and the most they could muster was to charge us a reduced rate retest.Please find a company that care about their customers.
Robert Jackman: I did my HGV C with these guys 5 years ago and they was spot on, I've recently done my C+E with them and again spot on.My instructor Simon Wynn was a pleasure to work with he listened to my questions (I have ADHD so I need people to teach how I learn, which he did no problem)Would happily recommend them.Thanks 👍
