4worldlovers: Redgate Farm Animal Sanctuary was founded in August 1986 at Shaw Lane, Markfield, Leicestershire by the Redmile family.

We are an animal shelter that rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes a variety of animals in need. We advocate neutering your pets to protect them in the future, that is why we never rehome a cat or kitten without neutering it first.

All the Animals in the care of the Sanctuary need support, we have many cats, kittens, rabbits and poultry who are all looking for their new forever homes. For our elderly and sick animals at the sanctuary, there are many ways in which you can help them. You can do this by becoming a friend of Redgate and Sponsoring an animal, or if you feel you can help more, please contact the Sanctuary.

The Sanctuary is open to visitors 7 days a week between 12 and 3:30pm (except Christmas eve and Christmas day) under our usual opening hours however we are currently closed to public viewing.

4worldlovers: Pablo's Horse Sanctuary is a registered horse rescue charity based in Long Clawson, Leicestershire (Charity Commission Registration Number: 1116394) and was founded to ease the suffering of horses and ponies whose owners either could not or would not look after them. Many of our animals have come to us, through no fault of their own, either with various health problems, being elderly or if their owner’s circumstances has changed and they can no longer care for them.

The charity was founded by Mrs Carole Fielding and is named in honour of a little grey pony with a crooked leg, who stole everyone’s heart…. He was a special character

The Sanctuary gradually has gone from strength to strength, and in 2006 became a registered charity. There are currently around 90 horses and ponies. As the charity is run entirely by volunteers, this ensures that 100% of each donation is spent only on the horses and ponies welfare.

It is that time of year when we reflect on the year past, which has had its challenges but we are still here continuing our work.

Thanks to the amazing support we have received from our volunteers, fundraisers, sponsors, donators and very good friends, you have all helped to keep the sanctuary going.

Especially for those horses who are elderly and disadvantaged, with no other option of a good life, they are all so dear to us.

It is only due to the kindness and generosity that has been shown to us throughout this year, that we are still able to offer a safe loving forever home when they need it the most, we are so very grateful.

However you support us, thank you! you are too numerous to mention but do know that you make a difference at the sanctuary and every pound raised is spent caring for our very special equine family.
