We have regular Club Sundays planned from the beginning of April through to the end of October and members do meet on a Thursday evening during the summer months subject to weather conditions. Club Days provide the opportunity for members just to have fun on the lake, work on their techniques or indeed participate in some friendly competition. The lake is well suited to Stand Up Paddle Board and/or Long Board Windsurf Racing.

We are a members club, but you can 'try before you buy'.

Sign up for a Taster Membership which lasts for 2 weeks, start with an introductory session and then come to any club night session, at any of our sites, for no additional cost. This gives you the opportunity to meet us all, and maybe even grab a bite to eat from our BBQ in the summer months.

We are a friendly and welcoming club, and provide good quality training for the ‘Paddle Start’, ‘Discover’ and ‘Explore’ Canoe and Kayak British Canoeing Awards.

Every Thursday from April to September, our members meet at the training water to either teach or be taught, or just have a mess about on the water. At least once a month during the season there are organised trips which cover the different levels of Canoeing & Kayaking.

We have a membership of approximately 150 people, ranging from ages 7 to over 60 years who all enjoy the sport, whether paddling or spectating. We cater for all levels of the sport from complete novice to grade 4/5 water.
