Amy Huskisson: I was so impressed with the consultation we had with Professor Hartley and Mr Holt. Both exceptionally personable, kind and clear about treatment options. The hospital staff were wonderful and it was spotlessly clean.
Elizabeth Gist: Had two procedures with them because I cannot get any treatment on the NHS. First was a syscoscopy on my bladder which I was told would be around £600. Invoiced me for double that, they had added a load of hidden fees. Went for a CT scan of my kidneys, double checked the price this time on more than one occasion. Was told £629, invoice arrives and they've magiced an additional £110 from nowhere without telling me. In addition to this they're happy to bill me for the scan but have not even had the good grace to tell me the results of that scan. £2000 down the drain.
Gary Johnson: Absolutely second to none! From the moment I walked in to the moment I left absolutely fantastic I dealt with so many people from reception up to my consultant within the 1hour I was there. Nurses absolutely lovely, lady that took my food order absolutely lovely, everyone I dealt with put me at ease and made me comfortable! Would like to give a shout out to Norman who left his Netflix open! Cannot thank the whole team at spire enough you all create a very comfortable environment I’m so grateful for what you did for me . Well done guys
Daniel Sinclair: My first time visiting the Spire Hospital for an appointment with Mr. Legget. Very clean tidy well kept hospital and felt very well lit, airy and comforting. Staff were very welcoming, friendly, helpful and attentive. The consultant I saw Mr. Legget was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave great advice on all procedures and what treatments he would recommend to get me sorted with plenty of other options and treatments if the first one doesn’t work as hoped. Fingers crossed on that. All in all a great experience from start to finish with my appointment with everything in the hospital running like a well oiled machine. My appointment was done through private medical insurance but would still highly recommend this place even if you were paying yourself or if you got the chance through the NHS. Five star rating and a thumbs up from me.
Jeff Lee: The whole experience from start to finish was more than satisfactory, staff were very professional and polite, they really do take good care of you, the whole procedure was smooth, absolutely no complaints whatsoever and would return in a heartbeat if I had to.
Andy Meakin: I have had 2 recent appointments here both were over 25 mins late. My charges were not reduced by 25% though! In contrast 3 recent NHS appointments were all on time.
Peter Hansen-Chambers: I used the Spire Hospital for the first time last November and I was very impressed. The staff were friendly and attentive. The facilities were clean and it had a pleasant atmosphere. The medical attention was great - I didn’t feel rushed at all. Everything ran on time and the communication was clear throughout (so I knew what was happening, when, where, etc). I would definitely use this hospital again in the future, should the need arise.
Beth Gardnercaskie: I got referred to the Spires from the NHS.The staff were friendly and very professional without being over clinical. The hospital itself was absolutely spotless without smelling like a hospital. My only slight criticism was the lady who performed my endoscopy was a little too stern and didn't smile That aside 5 stars from me.
Shane Davies: Visited as a self pay inpatient last week to have all my wisdom teeth extracted by Mr Sidebottom. These were greatly infected huge teeth very close to the nerve which several other dentists had ran a mile from.Outstanding care received from all the staff from the minute I walked through the door. After improving over the week I woke up today and felt I had an infection so gave them a phone call. They bent over backwards to get me in the same day and spent a good hour with me and I left with a prescription. Zero extra cost as all included in the package. They also rang my consultant who requested I go back to see him tomorrow morning (in his own time before his day starts) for his peace of mind.In summary the entire team is fantastic.Best £2300 I’ve ever spent. Thanks again
Helen Porter: Hospital clean and convenient to get to.However the consultant didn’t advise me of 2 charges. (I was self pay as 9 month wait on NHS).The consultants 2 reports didn’t accurately reflect both discussions. A potentially very serious condition was mentioned on both discussions but not included in either report. They were also other inaccuracies. My issues have not been resolved nor an accurate diagnosis made although a scan was initiated.Suggestions were also made for further checks for which there were free options available but not suggested. I did get the impression that the consultant was trying to increase her colleagues income!!
Tom Daw: The care and support I received from all of the spire team Nottingham were nothing but fantastic. The nurses and catering team made me feel so welcome and comfortable for my two night stay. Thank you so much. Love Tom.
Simon Cockerill: Always receive first rate care & diagnosis. You still nee to chase them to speed up communications.
Jude Lobo: Be warned before you go to this hospital even though you would have paid privately (as in my case). Expect poor service, ignorance and arrogance from staff who work out here. There are also a lot of fake reviews from paid associates and staff that seem to praise this sorry outfit (sad people)
Steve Groves: Have tried to arrange a CT scan.Nobody answers the phone!!!
Philip Challis: Back in March I had a total hip replacement at the Spire Tollerton. My experience from the initial contact through to my post op Physio has been exceptional.I am now well on my way to a pain free more active lifestyle. I am back on my bicycle, able to sleep in comfort and walk without any discomfort. The results have been life changing.I would like to thank all the staff and in particular my consultant Mr Sehat and Sam my Physio.
Steve Crewe: I have been to most hospitals. And I carnt say much about any of them.. but I can say a lot about this hospital. It is amazing. The staff are fantastic. The place is Spotless . It's is only me second time. In this hospital. Its a private hospital. Plus NHS. And it doesn't matter if your paying private or not... your treaded the same. I went for an MRI scan. Today. The scan took about 30 minutes. I was in and out within 1hr. A massive thumbs up. To all the staff there. I only wish other hospitals followed the same.. thanks again for giving 5 star treatment.. both times iv been there.. *****
Vanessa Hague: Had knee surgery here in April …there are no words and no description to convey how amazing this place is …like a 5star hotel with pain 🤣🤣🤣
Naomi Dawn: My first time this week visiting the spires hospital some of the staff was lovely, but unfortunately I wasn't very happy with the service I got from the doctor I get that he was behind with patients I was only in the room with him for 10 minitues if that it was all rushed.for £200 and I still haven't had a mri yet. So my physio has rang the park hospital and got me in for my mri tomorrow..
Tom Luke: I fail to believe people have had such a bad experience and probably over exaggerate in these reviews an awful lot but I want to share an honest review. Spire have been nothing but amazing towards me I had OSA and needed an adenotonsillectomy, my consultant Mr Kasbekar an absolute expert in his subject was able to diagnose the problem straight away taking me seriously during the initial consultation. Something that my GP could not figure out at all and took convincing to refer me to an ENT specialist. When I was admitted I was put into the CCU (Critical care unit) as my OSA might have complications. I was made fully aware of the procedure I was having and spoke to both the consultant and other nurses who made me feel comfortable and anxiety free for my surgery. Any questions I had were answered and I felt like they really cared about there patients. After the surgery and during the night I was experiencing a lot of pain which the nurses on the ward were able to recognise quickly asking if I was okay and going the extra mile to provide the support and care after my treatment. The food and atmosphere is second to none, clean hospital with first class, food and service, people moan about reception but these places can get busy due to demand (not worth a 1 star review though is it?) But overall really recommend Spire to anyone looking to have treatment the aftercare is amazing too checking up on me and detailed instructions on how to care for myself.
Rose Wriggles: Visited Spire for a MRI, as usual staff were all very polite and courteous, the staff on the MRI were fantastic, a big thank you to Rosemary and her team for making my visit an absolute pleasure many thanks again Max!
Ted Carol Collins: Free parking at The Spire Hospital with plenty of Blue Badge spaces, with good level access into building.
