Philip Corsano: Pretty poor service. I had an oil change. The levels of the oil change was just at minimum. The drivers floor mat was totally stained and the windscreen wiper blades replaced were so poor that the bottom left side of the blade did not clean the window. I needed to replace the blades and add 1 litre of oil.Service:Oil change

He said he could fix it when remote stopped opening it. It’s been working for 2 more years. He didn’t charge me at all.I recommended my boyfriend and other friends to use it, and everyone is happy with them.

Emily Lennon: Nightmare from beginning to end, had my Audi in to fix the window, it had to go back 3 times as everytime we picked it up the problem was still there on one occasion worse than it went in, cost near on £600 in the end and a lot of time off work, the receptionist booked us in on a certain date over the phone then denied it when my partner arrived and said it was the day after, there was no apology for the mistakes and now the window is fixed the door card has not been sealed on properly and the clips have been broke so the door is hanging off everytime I open it, certainly won’t be going back for a 4th time or returning.Service:Electrical repair
sharron: Been taking my car here for its MoT and for repairs for a few yrs now and wouldn't use anywhere else unless I had no choice in an emergency. The receptionist and everyone I've spoke to here are really friendly and I've never had a problem with any work done to my car. I definitely recommend them if you're looking for somewhere new
Doug Gregory: I take my car here every year for its MOT and any intermittent repairs, services, oil changes etc. I find them trustworthy, professional, friendly and competent, just what you want from a motor company. I've never felt overcharged or had 'additional work' found. You can wait on the premises in a reasonably pleasant office or as I do, leave your car there. I normally get a call within a couple of hours to say it's ready.I always ring to book it in, normally for in a few days time but I assume you can just turn up if something is urgent.

My friend used to be an employee here as a technician for the mot's services and repairs before moving on to his dream job with the AA. I have been using The Motor Company while he worked here, and ive used it since he left 4years ago. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else, genuine happy to help people with great knowledge, honest and customer service is excellent. Prices are good and always inform you of costs upfront before work is carried out if you wish to have any repairs done.I also bring my fiancée's car here and my other family also have been using The Motor Company for the last 3 years or so.They are also part of the Good Garage Scheme and work to a dealership standard but not at dealership costs.Id say better service than any main dealer could provide. Mani Kullar: Absolutely chuffed with Pete & his team!My 2016 Jaguar XF required the timing chains to be replaced. Anyone who is familiar with this will certainly know just how big a job this is, on this particular model vehicle.Almost all other garages in the city (and beyond) either said they couldn't start on my vehicle for another few weeks, or it would take almost an entire week to complete the work.The Motor Company were very professional, completely transparent, very informative, and super efficient!My car was booked in 48 hours from initial contact, and the work was completed in 24 hours! I mean - wow!!I have come across many mechanics/garages in past 10 years due to the nature of my work, I complete high mileage, therefore regularly visit to workshops. PCV drivers – from 10th September 2008 all commercial PCV drivers will need to complete 35 hours of training before 9th September 2013*
If you attained your Driver CPC card though grandfather’s rights by just doing 35 hours of periodic training and not the initial qualification (Module 2 and 4 tests) then you will need to renew your Driver CPC card by completing 35 hours of periodic training before 9th September 2018. If you have acquired rights for both truck and bus, then your deadline will be 9th September 2019.

If you acquired your card by passing the initial qualification tests Module 2 Case Study and Module 4 Practical Demonstration test, then your renewal date will be 5 years from the date of you passing your module 4 test. This will be on your Drivers Qualification Card.
*Failure to complete the training before these dates would mean that you would be driving illegally with a likely fine to be up to £1,000.00
To become a driver and successfully gain the DRIVER CPC a new driver must pass the following 4 modules:
