Active Leicester - Aylestone Leisure Centre: what do users think?
Astro Milky: Decent sized leisure centre, with swimming, gym, court hire, and classes available.
Issy po: The pool is broken. They need to do it all up. Been like it for years and it’s only gotten worse. Plus non of the lockers work or are missing a band so all you get is a little key easy to lose. Also stinks in the changing rooms. It need an upgrade. Yes the entrance looks great it’s new. But it’s the pool that needed doing. Been to another active Leicester it gave more time to swim and had better facilities . Unlike this one.
Kieran Sangha: Great leisure centre. Swimming lessons are great for kids at ayelstone and the swim instructors are brilliant.
GuessWho ?: It was comic con 2023 held there in the hall that's where I went. It was good experience. Place was very busy and lots of people came plenty of stalls with pokemam card, comics and other collectables. There was not a large number of cosplay but still can see some.A few things they can improve would beTo start need a bigger place this hall was way to small for this event you can barely walk without bumping into people so you couldn't really enjoy visiting the stalls. No enough parking either they need someone in carpark guiding people or at least a sign to say parking is full or they could mention on Facebook alternative parking etc.Not many food stalls there was only 2 option one slash and other with some food both had long queue so next year would help with few more food stalls.A few more activities for fids arcade was nice but that was it paying £27 for family of 4 was a bit expensive for the time we spent was barely 1 hour and half.
Sunny Hollis: For management of both Aylestone Leicester Centre and Comic Con Management.Just for Comic Con 2023 event held at this centre (not for the usual sports activities).Way waaaay too over crowded. I very much doubt it can be legal to have this many people crammed into such as small space as well as for fire regulations I can easily see people and little kids being trampled to death if the alarm were to go off.Ruined me and my 10 year Old's day out. Had to leave early due to severe safety regulations being broken. Keep to much larger venues in future.
Seun Olanrewaju: Nice place!
Harshad Champaneria: Friendly. Refurbishment in progress
sylvia Staines: Pool was clean but changing rooms were disgusting. Only have open showers no private showers(no cubicles). Changing cubical had curtains instead of doors that had holes in and were see through.
Tom Preston: Much better after the refurbishment, I hope they continue it into the changing facilities which are a bit dated
Maggie pinches: Changing rooms very smelly and the lights in ladies not working
Dan Smith: It's an okay place!
Kalum Kumarasiri: ExcellentNice staff, clean pool, One of the best libraries
Jelena Grigorjeva: Приятный персонал. Отличный спортивный зал! Можно освежиться в бассейне. Dirty toilets, dirty floor in the changing and in the shower areas.
Anna Oliinyk: Great service! Wonderful and helpful staff.
Rabiya S Molvi: It’s good. Is there a sauna
jackie king (Pxc150): There doing work on the building there, but its not to bad
Bill m: You get what you pay for but the changing rooms tend to whiff a bit.
Roland bools: Great for young kids to learn how to play football
Cassandra Watson: My children love having there swimming lessons here
John Davis: We were asked by our Daughter in Law to take our Grandaughter swimming. The building was easy to find with clear parking. The welcome was warm and clear instructions given. We were able to watch her swimming class from the balconey comfortably seated. There appeared to be many events held in is busy establishment. A good facility for all to use.
Paul Cramphorn: Good facilities, good choice of lane swims available ... Very friendly .

Enderby Leisure Centre: what do users think?
Luke North: Changing rooms and showers are vile. Overall cleanliness is terrible. This is why everyone active will never be on the same level as David Lloyd.
Fit gill Mom: The staff is so polite and helpful. The gym atmosphere is so friendly. Good mixture of machines. I always like coming back to this gym.
Inna Bachinskaya: Lovely place
David Farren: Brilliant instructors running very motivational classes. Well equipped gym and busy friendly cafeteria.
Adam “Bold” Bros: Went to this leisure centre for swimming and the gym. Staff are friendly, atmosphere is good and the facilities is good.
eddywox: Overall the pool was alright and my son had a great time. The water is nice and warm at the perfect temperature for my 1yo.Next time i will make sure to take some cash with me.As i paid the swimming session online (only 10£ for 3 people), i left my wallet at home, when i get there they were charging me 11.20£ for this because i didn't have a pound to lock my locker.
Darren Hill: Worst gym I have used in 20 years. Equipment all modern but ridiculously busy everyday. Have clearly went for sales over space. Also no basic gym etiquette enforced. Weights are scattered everywhere so you will spend half your workout looking for the roght ones. Only two power racks for a gym this busy is just plain stupid.constantly waiting. Could be improved greatly with a bit more enforcement from staff but never once even seen them in the gu.
Amanda Thacker: As this is my nearest leisure centre I wanted to take up swimming again. Rang early in the morning phone lines don't open until 7 even though stated that leisure centre is open at 6.30.Seems you can no longer book just a swim membership very disappointed
Ashley-John Stirland: Excellent facilitiesLovely staff polite smart and helpfulGreat car parking with plenty of disable spaces tooEasy to find and loads on siteCafe swimming pool sports hall work out gymGreat changing roomsWent for Roller derby match in the sports hall
Mark Buet: Over recent months all staff have achieved excellant standard of customer communication and interaction. If member regular emails very good with encouragement for exercise. Some personal trainers will come and chat which gives a supportive and inclusive feel.Coffee staff almost feel like friends and chatty and remember order!!
David Hall: I have used this centre every week for over 30 years and have never had a problem, in all that time they have always had excellent staff.
Robert Fisher: My Wife and her friend are regular visitors and after a session in the gym they like to use the steam room and then the jacuzzi . Unfortunately what should be a relaxing experience it is spoil't by young men acting like football hooligans, shouting ,throwing ice at each other and making nuisance of them selves. On some occasions my Wife and her friend feel so intimidated they leave. I think the management should ensure that this type of behavior will not be tolerated
Robert Timmins: Can't believe a leisure centre doesn't do an milk other than dairy most places cater for people like me who enjoy a latte with oat or almond milk but at Enderby you don't do it and when I enquired about it you did not seem interested
Nigel Dicks: Roller skating every Saturday 4pm til 6pm ran by SK8 House. Awesome 👍
Quinn Frisby: someone threw up on the stairs
Charles Brooke-Taylor: I can't comment on all the facilities offered as I've only visited the gym.Staff were friendly and helpful, all the equipment is clean and well maintained and it feels like quite a modern gym. Plenty of options of machines or free weights, and space for stretching or other activities. Gets VERY busy from 4pm to about 6:30pm, to the extent it's impossible to get a parking space.
Diana Clements: Very friendly place/ staff. We like the Fri a.m. Exercise class for people with Parkinson's Disease run by Phil - who is also avail as a Personal Trrainer.
Masroor Naveed: Good gym and swimming pool, Les Miles cycling studio and spin classes. very clean and tidy. Good equipment.
Lancelot Sullen: Very well run facility, well-equipped and clean.
Nigel: Staff very informative patient helpful in swimming times and registration on app
Nish05: Great place with a golf course behind it.

Address: Washbrook Ln, Wigston Rd, Oadby, Leicester LE2 5QG, United Kingdom

Schedule: Open ⋅ Closes 10PM

Telephone: +44 116 272 0789

Business type: Swimming instructor

Parklands Leisure Centre: what do users think?
Mehdi Barghchi: Registered for swimming lessons for myself, my wife, and my daughter. In the first 4 weeks, had 3 different teachers, often not aware of the previous weeks lessons. After a month, I had an accident and could not practice. Asked to cancle my membership, offered a gym membership, rather than cancelling, with a no-reply email. Could not talk to a person. They took direct debit money from my account even when asked to cancle membership. I'll never trust them again, very sad.
Sapphire Gem: Rubbish no one picks up the phone.
Rajeev Upreti: Lots of physical activities and fun for children
sohaib khalid: I use that facilities for playing indoor football and badminton. In that respect it's really nice. My kids go for swimming classes as well. Overall really nice place with kids play area
Mark Forrest: Great facilities, but bad smell in the changing rooms. The staff must have received some bad news, no smiles from any of them, particularly the lifeguards.
David Jordan: It was great but the coffee wasn't very nice!
David Hall: I play badminton here every Thursday, Parklands runs like clockwork, never any problems, they are a well-oiled machine.
Dovydas Simonaitis: Its very nice place for kids and family. Just shame my son is almost second year on same stage of swimming classes
Aneta Simonaitis: Swimming pool is very clean, but please fix the main door! It doesn't help when you sit and watch your child doing his classes during the winter with -2 outside!
Shivali Gosai: My daughters have swimming lessons and the facility are extremely poor. They have so much staff but the showers, toilets are filthy. They don’t seem to care as I have complained to the manager several times but not seen no improvement.
Karin Sinclair: Aqua
Wahida Miah: Softplay centre inside is massive with 18 climbing walls. Kids love it.
James Later: Absolute shocking! Always cancelling my child’s booking because of ‘lack of staff’
Jim Alarapeu: Very bad staff. Treats us like animals!!!
V1PER REXT-_-: Extremely bad gym. The manager doesn’t care about their customers!
Amir Morjaria: Extremely poor service. Was trying to book soft play for my son. Was waiting on the line for 50 minutes. Someone had picked up and then hung up on me!
Jon Glover: Great place with lots of activities to suit everyone. Lovely, friendly staff too.
Nazneen Shah: Nice and clean and always has lots to offer the children. However, price is one of the most expensive in the area and the staff are quite rude. Some allow older children to torment the little ones in the ball pit area, whilst other staff members stalk the area and prevent anyone from entering, even if they have a valid reason. If they could provide a ball pit area for those older than 3 and make it more affordable, this would be the perfect play centre!
Steve Prince: My granddaughters loved the soft play area, its one of the best we've been to!
TP 31: Answering the phone is very poor. Tried over several days to get through, nobody answers
Sandeep Kaur: Constantly calling leave a message no one calls me back about membership!!!

Active Leicester - Cossington Street Sports Centre: what do users think?
Jigs Patel: Great facilities but rude inconsiderate people ruin it. No one uses the lockers and leaves their belongings in the changing rooms making them unusable.
Astro Milky: Nice and modern but not good for parking like ayelstone, braunstone and evington
Rian Tailor: Very good
Benjamin Chad: This review is for Sachin and his efforts for Cossington pool. Iv take my kids to many swimming lessons in many different places but sachins style of teaching is different he’s trained my kid’s well lots of people I know praise him and his efforts for kids I told him that he can do lot better in private clubs why don’t you join and his answer was I will earn the money but I will upset many children parents I will remain in this place as long as I will teach swimming.
Kalam Husain: Lovely swimming pool clean and very friendly staff
Zakariya Zaky: For every reason it is good
Hitesh Tank: There should be free swimming lessons, so nobody would drown that Haa happened last time.
Ibrahim Nawab: Very good swimming place. They have men swimming every Sunday so I go. Very fun outing.Subscribe to MRAsian_Editz on YouTube
Momna -: Bad bad bad. Do not recommend. VERY dirty
Muneer Bachu: The gym needs a major clean up. Absolutely filthy and hardly cleaned. Prices have been up twice in the space of 6 months and the price doesn't justify the facilities available on offer! Avoid!
Dev Vyas: Very poor service they book private section on general swimming day without any info online and any notice to regular members
KINJAL PATEL: Very poor service! They have made the swimming portal but it wasn't updated for last 5 months for my daughter and 3 months for my son. They both have same teacher. My daughter and son both are extremely disappointed as they have competition to each other, who becomes first. Most of the time, teacher comes without any tablet so how can she remember all the children's name and their attendance in different stage. The situation is hilarious as I talked to supervisor and he assured me that the data has been updated but still disappointed 😞. If there is 0 rating so I will definitely use 0 as waste of my money and time.
Shuaib Ayub: Nice I like the shorts drier
Sajan Devshi: Great pool, lively and homely feel for the community. Swimming lessons are always on, staff pleasant and helpful. Can be hectic trying to find a spare room to get changed but the layout works; parents can watch from the sidelines on seating and it is generally quite warm for those swimming. Good community atmosphere here and a centre of activity for locals.
Vatsal Pareshkumar: Really well maintained and nice place for swimming, the gym can be improved though.
Chris Walker: Parking is a bloody Nightmare, so get there early, very warm inside too. Have to ware overshoes now too. But my three children are learning to swim really well, so good teachers when they actually teach, you get a lot of cancellations
Jay Patel: Sports Center is cleaner compared to the area. Leicester city Council can do better.
Rajesh Patel: Nice atmosphereHelpful staff.Feel motivated
Katherine van Kroonenburg: Friendly staff and a gorgeous, large, victorian pool.
jackie king (Pxc150): The parking around the area is pants, especially if your a coach driver, they park were ever they want and block the roads up
Akshar Patel: Nice staff, very clean. Timetable is a bit restrictive.
