The Musician: what do users think?
Pete Whatnall: Great little music venue. Friendly staff.
Tony Booth: Great live music venue. Nice intimate space. Good acoustics and excellent sound. Nice high stage so good view of band. Friendly staff. What more could you want!! 😃
Kristyanne Goddard: Draft beer is not cold, but the venue itself is good with friendly staff. It's great to have a venue to see bands/tributes 😊
Kaye: Great place to watch live music. Up close and personal. Cheap beer and friendly staff.I went back here last night - just keep an eye on what you're being charged - 2 different barmen were going to charge me £9 for 2 half ciders!!! Maybe they're not used to pulling half pints!
Ali KOROGLU: Nice place to listen live music.
Timothy Brayshaw: Brilliant venue for love music, amazing atmosphere. Came for James Walsh's gig and left wanting to return for whoever else they may have booked.
Simon Page: Great venue
Patricia Goodge: Brilliant pub, fantastic live bands
mark smith: Good crowd & sound
Wendy Kirkland: Wonderful atmosphere at this venue. Absolutely loved playing there.
Chris Keran.: Nice intimate venue with pleasant staff who were able to reserve a seat for my brother who couldn't stand.Attracts a friendly crowd who know their music
Jon Stepien: Probably the best small music venue in Leicester and the resident sound engineer Alan is brilliant.
Smiler Farmer: Great place, reasonable price, freandly staff.
Andy Bennett: This venue is awesome
Олег Гарамита: С удовольствием прихожу послушать живую музыку в это замечательное заведение, ведь я большой любитель талантливых людей.
L HOLLAND: Great little place for gigs! I love the decor of artists painted on the walls and some that have played here have signed photos too. Reminds me of The Charlotte gig venue, with it's laid back vibe. The music sounds great here, and it's more of an intimate gig, with the stage being low and closer to the crowd. The place is open after gigs for a couple of hours if people want to stick around, and drink while listening to music. Drinks are a little expensive but you've got to support the smaller venues, or lose them. The staff on the door are friendly and chilled, and bar staff too. The place can get very hot during a gig, as there aren't any ceiling fans, which they could do with.I've seen The Bon Jovi Experience here many times, and they are fantastic!👍👍👍👍
Michelle Clayton: Great atmosphere
michael glover: Fantastic venue definitely will be going again.
Neil Impey: Small cosy venue. Virgin visit and loved it. Bon Jovi Experience was brilliant as always. Drinks were cheap too. Will be returning again...

Brick & Beam: what do users think?
Aarti R: Had my 40th party in the Loft Bar and honestly was the best night. The venue is gorgeous and there was a jazz band and DJ, both were absolutely amazing. Great hospitality and service. Thank you so much to all the team for an incredible experience.Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Rob James: I had a fantastic 40th birthday party here. The venue was excellent and the service was brilliant. I said how much I liked pear kopparberg and although this wasn’t in behind the bar the team bought it in and made sure they were in the fridge cold. The DJ was great and played all the songs on the playlist and also requests from guests. I would really recommend this venue for any party. The booking process is easy and a re-fundable deposit is made to secure the booking. All queries are answered promptly and the venue also has a special code for cheap 24 hour parking in the NCP close by.Thank you Brick and Beam Team we had a great time.
Jason Cader: Held my wife’s 40th party there this weekend in the Venue room. Great room for the occasion! The DJ was superb and read the room well with banging tunes and people dancing into the night! Selection of food was great and devoured in seconds! Definitely recommend! Din the manager/owner communicated well the information from start to finish! Shout out too to the two door ladies who were on hand to help throughout the night with a disabled guest. All in all, will be back again!
Dhruv Sachdev: We recently had the pleasure of hosting our 40th birthday celebration at Brick & Beam, and I must say, it was an absolute blast! From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional, leaving us with memories that will last a lifetime.First and foremost, the venue itself was stunning. The rustic yet chic ambiance created the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening. The staff at Brick & Beam were the true stars of the show. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, making us feel like VIPs. Their attention to detail and professionalism were truly commendable. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of the event ran smoothly, leaving us stress-free and able to enjoy the festivities. The catering provided by Brick & Beam was simply outstanding. The grazing board offered a delectable array of options to suit all tastes and dietary preferences. The food was beautifully presented and was exactly what we wanted.Dinesh and his team worked closely with us to bring our vision to life, accommodating our requests and offering valuable suggestions along the way. From the layout of the space to the entertainment setup, they ensured that every detail was executed flawlessly, creating an atmosphere of celebration and joy. What truly sets Brick & Beam apart is their commitment to customer satisfaction. They genuinely care about their clients and go the extra mile to exceed expectations. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Brick & Beam for hosting special occasions. Their beautiful venue, exceptional staff, delightful catering, and impeccable event coordination make them the perfect choice for a memorable celebration. I am grateful to Dinesh and his entire team for making our 40th birthday a truly unforgettable experience.
Jade Afflick: Great venue - loved having our 30th birthday here. Guests commented on how nice the room was. Really great atmosphere.
sunil chandarana: I had a my sisiter 40th, what an amazing place, great service, I would recomend this place
Annie Brett: Venue was perfect for a party, host was very accommodating and helped sort everything out prior to the evening. Very happy and will definitely use the venue again!
Karen Parmar: Loved the different age ranges. Drinks on point and the dj was great. The jazz wasn't they did own original and wasn't good
Samantha Merry: We hired the garden room for a friends 40th birthday. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We ended up spilling into the main bar as the DJ was great. We danced the night away!Thank you to all the staff at Brick and Beam 😊
Thomas O'Neill: No interesting beer. Reasonably tasty buffet food
Lucy Walker: Always a great night out here, the drinks are sensational!
Mandy Cattell: Really nice place clean and easy to findStaff very helpful ..Lacked atmosphere and not many people .. got fed up of waiting for the live jazz band to start so ended up sipping up and leaving for a more lively pub ..
Abbie Brant: The hosts with the most! Amazing 30th birthday celebration held here last night. Venue and staff made it one to remember. Beautifully aesthetic with outstanding service and good drinks menu. Thanks for everything!
Hina Mistry: Incredible venue, incredible food, service and would highly recommend for hosting a function here, I hired the loft space. From the moment I enquired I received a great friendly and professional service from Din and was very accommodating, including personally a cocktail menu-such a great idea! All guests could not believe this venue was in Leicester as the décor, food and ambience were spot on. Everything went as planned and the staff were great. 10/10. Thank you Din & team!
Deesa Patel: Hosted our third baby shower at Brick & Beam this weekend and it went amazingly well. Everyone loved the venue and staff were really helpful. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for an aesthetically friendly place.
Betty SMITH: Staff do there. Great place.
Mark Brown: We were invited to a private party in a room on the first floor. The room was a good size, with its own bar. The room had been nicely decorated and the staff in there were very efficient and friendly. There was always friendly security on the front door. We would go again to try the main bar and the food.
Bhavini Patel: The brunch we had was amazing. The quality was great and the portions were perfect. The service we received was also on point. Would definitely recommend it.
Notie Maqakeza: Though toilets on the lower level...????
Jas Harrad: Wonderful baby shower event with afternoon tea, great service, great food and wonderful relaxed setting.
Kayleigh Beere: The place looks nice, and the servers were nice. However, it took 20+ minutes for my coffee to arrive and an hour+ for our food to arrive. Server was very apologetic. People who ordered after us had their food, ate and left before we received ours. I wouldn't mind if the place was busy, but there were only 4 tables including ours. We thought we'd at least get a complimentary drink for the long wait...Luckily the food was nice, although a bit cold at that point. I want to try them again as maybe it was just a bad day!

The Cookie: what do users think?
berry: Good.
Chris Cameron: One of our favourite places in Leicester that we visit several times during the February comedy festival. They do a variety of gigs, some 'pay what you want' and the venue part has an authentically gritty feel to it. Nice coffee and cakes. More imagination with proper ciders (not the kids' fruit stuff) would go down well with us.Since 2021 ownership has changed and it's now run by The Big Difference charity, which also runs the comedy festival. Slight improvement in bottled and canned beers available but I think they've stopped selling cakes. Now renamed, understandably, as The Big Difference.
ashley leeds: Attended Billy Nomates tonight. Great night and met great people. Bar staff great as well. Look forward to a return.
Ben Poole: An essential Leicester High Street establishment! Friendly staff, good for a coffee in the day or a drink in the evening, plus a great live venue too! Do give it a visit, post-lockdown.
Edward Mason: An excellent venue for comedy nights and music.
Gregor Smith: Went here for a gig. Was a great music venue but the bar area is basically a corridor with people constantly shuffling around to make way for each other - it's like they don't want you to be able to buy drinks!
Jean Vieuxbled: Super sympa la salle et très très bon spectacle de rock avec un super orchestre et chanteur.
Liam: Always an incredible experience!
Richard Taylor: Decent venue and a great comic, but the seats were small, cramped and uncomfortable and the bathrooms didn't have any soap in.
christopher Walmsley: Went there for a comedy night.. great little venueCould do with more ale beers... good atmosphere small room but ok
Jane Whiting: Great comedy gig from Chris Phillips.
Alan Barlow: Small intimate venue , I visited for a stand up comedy show and thoroughly enjoyed myself
Faraz Anjum: Nice venue and bar but really tight spaces when it gets crowded, needs a freshening up
Richard Bray: Great venue, will definitely keep an eye out for other gigs
Kevin Gaughan: Awesome gig venue
Roland bools: Small place to put popular bands bit to cramped
Alison Winstone: Excellent, all round place to go to
Svetlana Vasiltsova: Good place with live music, food in Central Leicester!
scmcgloin: So Loud it Led to Loss of Voice for Days
James Bayley: Best venue in Leicester
Craig -H (fresco): Great small venue. Came here to see a band called Crows and immediately liked this place. Nice and tight place to watch a band and very reasonably priced. Surprisingly the drinks weren't as overly expensive as a lot of venues. Had a great night out here and would go see bands here again

O2 Academy Leicester: what do users think?
Rohan Anand: The club nights are seriously epic, and the gigs I went to were pretty awesome too. When it comes to student nights in Leicester, O2 Academy is the place to be. Also, the staff is top-notch, Jedi masters of serving. Overall, 10/10 experience.
Alex Zapuskalov: Good venue, amazing 2 stages, good bar.
Simon Warner: Sound was good. Quite hot inside, not sure there's much in the way of air conditioning. Bar queues quite long, but draught did taste good. No cloakroom in operation...
richard wolden: Ridiculous drinks prices and no parking for a weekend event when the campus is not in use.
mukesh Karara: Car lift was amazing 👏
Abigail Hogarth: Can be a really good venue, very big inside
Grace M-H: Went here to see the vistas. The venue was smaller than expected, just a small room with a small outdoor smoking area to the side, nothing special. The drinks were overpriced, best value was 2 cans hard seltzers for £5 however these tasted awful. Security on the way in patted everyone down and searched bags. Plenty of toilets in the venue
Andrew Addison: Saw UK Foo Fighters. If you pick the right gig for you, great night
Jon Stepien: Brilliant venue but the beer is well expensive.
Karen Chappell: I won't be back to this venue. Or any more 02 venues for that matter.Unfortunately, there was jobsworth staff on the door which prevented my friend from being admitted to the venue due to her bag size (I didn't have one and didn't have space in my pocket for all my medication, this particular bag she has taken with her to countless venues in London with no issues - although another o2 venue did try ro confisgate her parfume from the same bag as it was flamable, nothing was said about the bag size then). Luckily I had driven (from Brighton) and parked about a mile away so we had to go back to the car and leave it there. We would have been a bit screwed if we had taken the train or taxi like we had planned. So my friend was allowed to bring her coat which was arguably bigger and more cumbersome than the bag we had tried to get in in the first place. Also because we were not allowed my friends bag, that meant no to buying merch when we got to the venue (as over inflated prices such as they are in all 02 venues), and when the final band had finished ALL the merch stands had packed up, so couldn't have bought what I was eyeing up anyway. That had clearly been thought out - not!The venue itself seems alright, nice layout (although very few signs to know where the other rooms were, the very kind bubbly lady from the CLOAKROOM gave us directions, then took us there because the directions were a little confusing.) Sound wise was pretty good. Drink prices, have absolutely no idea, given the hassle we had getting in we just drank tap water because the venue had taken enough money and time from us so we bought nothing out of protest.Bands however were spot on, I'll have no issues seeing them in other venues, although if they play any 02 venues then I'll happily go abroad to see them.
Colin Pratt: A great little O2 venue, not too big at all. Sound was good and stage a nice height for good viewing anywhere. Walking distance to restaurants too. Beer was pretty awful though
Phil Giles: Good venue for a gig. Good sound and lots of space for bands. However the toilets were utterly rank and the choice of beer is very limited unless you like lager. Found Atlantic on one pump in the smallest bar.
George Miller: Great gig really great organisers but security were overly heavy handed and obstructive.
Smiler Farmer: Getting a little rundown, but not too bad overall, lots of stairs..
mark shepherd: Great venue! Sound is superb. Good choice at the bar, typically expensive though as it's an O2
Harry Ballentyne: Lovely time at Maisie Peters, very well organised venue with good drink choices :)
Lucy-Ann Butterworth: Went to Maisie Peter's gig last night and me and my friends had such an amazing night! The choice of drinks were pretty good, lots of choice in spirits! Had an amazing night, special thanks to the balcony bar staff :)
helena: Me and my friends had the best time seeing Maisie Peters, she’s so good!! We had a great time all night and the choice of drinks was great so even my indecisive friends were able to get their favourites!! ❤️
Sophie: Had an amazing time at Maisie Peters!! Venue sounded great and special shout-out to Daisy and Melissa, they were so nice to us at the bar!! Can’t wait to come back in future xx
Hibba H: Great drinks and food!
Charlie Warwick: Saw maisie peters on Wednesday 19th, totally amazing!! Such a good night watching Maisie and the staff were all super nice too, shout-out to Daisy for her drinks recommendations!!
