F W: Booked two rooms, including breakfast (continental with hot dishes). At first morning, no hot dishes and we were told due to limited occupancy no hot breakfast. The event coordinator was frustrated when I requested at least some cheese/ham, which only ham arrived after 5 min. We then understood due to the bank holiday, 1 May, we could collect a breakfast box, as the restaurant was closed. To our surprise, there were only two boxes for four people. At reception we were told only total of 6 boxes were prepared in total and no extra available. We requested a refund of the breakfast, which needed action from the event coordinator and we would be informed by email. Unfortunately, I might add not surprised, no response to date. For all those that still want to stay here (good location, reasonable room), please do not take the breakfast to save you any frustrations.Food & drinks: See above, worse ever breakfast experience, aided by an events coordinator that showed to be not at all interested and willing to even considered some alternatives.

Chris Lincoln-Jones: The rooms are reminiscent of a student hall of residence. Not surprisingly, as the name would suggest. I stayed during one of the many conferences that take place here. It's a 30-minute walk from the city centre and railway station. A quiet suburb with only a busy pub nearby. This is significant as the hotel doesn't offer an evening meal. Good food, but it is difficult to get a table if you're on your own.The room I had was comfortable, clean, and warm. A great en-suite with a particularly good shower. You can brew tea and coffee.Breakfast is served in a nearby building. Nothing special but a good platform for the rest of your day.The price is fair, and I'd certainly rate it as good value for money.

Matthew Larcinese: Stayed here for a couple of nights. Really exceptional check in experience and Estabon went above and beyond to assist in the room check in. The rooms are smallish but the bedding is comfortable with a closet that contains hangers, extra pillows, iron and board, blow dryer and tea pot and cups. The bathroom is spacious with knock your first layer of skin off water pressure in the shower. The entire place was very quiet and very relaxing. The morning breakfast has everything you need and plenty of it. The staff here was very kind and helpful as well.Safety: Nice layers of protection as the room key is needed to enter the buildings

ade: Attended a work event here, and i had a wonderful experience. There were plenty of variety of hot drinks with snacks. Hot dinner was super tasty and of good quality with good options. The conference room was a good size, well ventilated, and we were provided with pencils and paper to make notes. Toilets were clean and smelled lovely. There was also plenty of parking and location easy to find. Would recommend and hope to visit again.

Anish Shah: we thought we booked into a Hilton, how wrong was I !no doubt the worst hotel we have stayed in.Plus point was the check in staff were friendly, but after that it was disappointment after disappointment.the rooms were probably never cleaned, very outdated, uncomfortable creaky beds, stains on the floor....the list goes on.the restaurant food was inedible that evening which we sent back, thankfullybut the worst part we encountered the following morning was the smoke detector in our room had a plastic bag covering it, serious health and safety issue. My only assumption for that can be previous visitors may have wanted to smoke in the room hence cover the smoke detectors.wonder if the rooms are ever checked for such breach !!never coming backdisappointment to the Hilton name
Nishad Panchal: Great value for money, greeted by the lovely Ashley at reception on check in, she was kind and helpful, if you have kids, you have to book swimming beforehand. The gym and pool are adequate. Swapan was very attentive at breakfast and great communication about what’s on offer. The breakfast was fresh and the pastries and sausages were of good quality. My family enjoyed their stay here. The staff at the leisure club were friendly, the hot tub was hot and the pool wasn’t too busy. There are lockers if you need them. Parking was £6 a night.

R M (Infinity): Went to a presentation, not there for long so can't comment on most the services. This used to be a top end hotel when it first opened a lot of years ago but this was my first visit in about 25 years, still looks good on the entrance, hopefully everything else has been kept fresh too.

They have bar, Starbucks and a restaurant working during the day .By the way I have to give 4 stars due to two things :- the shower curtain smell like hell , it seems really long time it has not been washed ;- no coffee available or any food if you leave in the morning before 6.30am.

pete tanner: Fairly poor hotel which gives the Hilton brand a bad name. Tired old rooms. As a Gold Elite loyalty member a room upgrade should be given. They “upgrade” to a room with added amenities (snacks, robes, slippers etc) but then remove all the ‘upgraded’ amenities from the room so that all you are left with is an empty-ish room. Hence the upgraded room is literally just the name “upgraded room” with absolutely zero benefit. Upon enquiring about this I was told the local management had decided this and that my room at least had an upgraded view. I hate to think what a standard room view is as when I opened my curtains in the morning I saw that my “upgraded view” was of the car park!!! Spend a few extra pounds and stay across the road at the Marriott - great rooms, lovely hotel and a cracking breakfast
