I will certainly not return to this place again due to the poor service and low quality food I was served.To begin, I ordered a full day English breakfast. The waitress said that there were no hash browns and that she would have replaced them with fries. I said yes and, after waiting for a while, I got served a breakfast with neither fries nor hash browns. The bread (a slice of toast sliced in two parts) was overcooked and so were the sausages (dry and tasteless). The mushrooms were not fresh and the fried eggs were not cooked properly. The beacon was overcooked too. Food was blatantly cooked in a rush, and served with no attention to detail whatsoever.Lastly, the waitress did not even stop me for a second to check if I was happy with the food or if I needed anything.Overall, in hindsight, I would have avoided stopping here to have lunch and bought a sandwich to the nearby Tesco or student union. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Drunken Duck Promotions: A decent place right in the heart of Leicester city centre.Has a lot of happening bands play upstairs in the 120 capacity gig room. Even bigger bands like The Wedding Present, Dogs D'amour & Primitives have graced the stage recently.Service is usually pretty good in the downstairs bar.There's a good choice of drinks & cocktails but at nightclub prices.Parking is very limited due to its proximity.Well worth a visit.

Julie Rose Parton: A summary of the night...I was shouted at by staff and the 'excuse given' for this- 'I should not have done that, but I'm tired'... this is no excuse.I was groped/touched myself Innapropriately on 3 separate occasions when I was attempting to have a nice evening on my own.One individual kept following me around and wouldn't leave me alone all night despite me speaking to them nicely and politely. I can only think this culture is accepted in this venue because it certainly does not happen and would not be allowed to happen elsewhere.Men were walking freely into the ladies bathrooms upstairs and just holding the door open too. It was generally really grotty in there and the bathroom was in a real state of disrepair. I only hope something comes of this and is done, no one was checking this...Last orders were called, everyone bought drinks, only to be told 10 minutes later to 'down their drinks and vacate the premises'.This is really poor quality service (as it was a busy night so it had taken everyone a while to get served), not to mention irresponsible.Kick out time was actually earlier than stated. This left a lot of people confused and disappointed, especially as they'd just bought drinks.Staff also knew I had no signal on my phone and was not from the area (they gave me the WiFi code so I could book an uber home later). Despite this, they would not allow me to book an uber so I could get to my hotel safely. Instead, they were shouting at me to 'down my drink' instead then kicked me out. I tried explaining this, obviously frustrated, scared and upset... they kicked me out and I had to ask for directions (which I really struggle with).There was no thought towards the customer at any point or their specific needs/requirements either. Which needs A LOT of work.Please look at improving... your customers are everything and this truly has the potential to be so much better!Some of the team were lovely and did try to help/step in, but unfortunately that was ruined/overshadowed overall by all the rest of the poor experiences throughout.I only truly hope that better things come from this.

Kez Plays: Place is genuinely nice, came in to watch the ksi fight waited 30 mins for two drinks on the app which wouldnt be a problem but when they came out I got sassed by a tall black hair lady with glasses. They brought the drinks out and when I asked for a glass or a straw so I can drink my drink they had more attitude. I work in hospitality I know if my team had that attiude I would not tolerate it as my guest comes first

Calum Gore: As we walked to the door the doorman demanded to see our identification. There was 3 in our group and all of us our clearly in our late 30’s. I challenged why they needed to see ID? The response I got was it was policy. I asked what policy? Will you be recording details? What does the policy prevent? I got no answers from the doorman, my opinion was they were asking for ID because they wanted to leverage the little power they have over others. I was completely calm and non-threatening the entire conversation when 2 of the doorman started getting agitated at my line of questioning and then proceeded to shout at me and asking to fight me. Very immature.LET’S PUT THIS INTO CONTEXT I ASKED A QUESTION AND THEN THE DOOR STAFF WANTED TO FIGHT ME.Stay away from this bar

Raphael H.: We visited recently with a group of friends (and dogs) to have a few drinks and something to eat. The staff were great and brought out some water bowls and helped us move two tables together. The tables were regularly cleared and orders arrived quickly. The only let down of the evening was that nothing marked vegan on the menu was actually available so we had to end up bringing in some pizza from the Dominos up the road.

Pee Dot: AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!! What a waste of a birthday night and money!! Firstly, the food. None of it had any flavour, was bland and tasteless and half the time we received the wrong thing. Chilli garlic mushrooms had no flavour and were slimy to the taste. We were told they ran out of chicken tikka masala but had chicken jalfrezi available?? Chicken jalfrezi has large peppers, spices and chillies in which I've attached from Google in the review. When this came, it looked and tasted like butter chicken which is the second picture I've attached. Secondly, the food took almost 45 minutes to come to our table with a 5 year old having to wait this long for just a bowl of chips! CHIPS! I could've drove home, made them and brought them back quicker!! By the time the food came we were so hungry, another bowl of chips was ordered which we had to wait almost another 45 minutes to come. This was then cancelled as it was getting too late and everyone was yawning. We told the waiter to take this off the bill. And lastly, when the night was done without being given the bill we were just asked if we wanted to pay by cash or card. Upon requesting to actually look at the bill we were being charged for things we didn't order!!!!!! What an absolute mockery!! The service is a joke, the place that apparently was under refurbishment for so many months is a joke because nothing has changed apart from a couple of fishtanks dotted around there and the food you order which you don't even get correctly is a joke! Can't see this place lasting for too long! There are much nicer places with exceptional customer service and just tasty food out there. Spend your money anywhere else other than here!!!

Anant Pandya: A large venue off Melton Road and a good place to relax with friends. I stopped at this place for a few pints and enjoyed the beers and the decor. There is usually live performances(bollywood music and songs) during the evenings at weekends. The services and staff are attentive and friendly too. You can also enjoy a variety of foods and drinks at this place and have a game of pool or darts. A decent club to chill out in the evenings. Recommended.
