She is great at organising the class so everyone is being productive for the maximum amount of time. Mary Gatineau: Julia is an extremely talented fashion designer and teacher. I recently attended a weekend course with her, during which I rediscovered my passion for sewing (after 30 years of not going near a sewing machine)! The class was joyful and relaxed, and we all achieved so much due to Julia's gentle, yet detailed tuition. I have learnt skills that I have taken home with me to continue this fantastic journey. Also the fabrics she sells are absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended!

Harlequins Costumes: Ordered an industrial machine at trade show and nearly a month later it has still not arrived. Have taken full payment for the order but still no sign of the goods ordered. When contacting customer service they have no idea where the sewing machine is and unwilling to advise the couriers details who are meant to have the item in transit. Promised to be contacted but never receive any feedback on the progress of the order! Beginning to think we have been conned on the stand by the salesman! Very dissapointed with the customer service and highly skeptical that we will ever receive our order.
