Taylor Pledger: Denied us entry despite having valid tickets. Claimed the event didn’t show up so we weren’t allowed in despite paying over £60 for this pass. Staff were rude, didn’t apologise or send us an email/message prior to let us know.
Liam Young: Got charged £7.50 for a double vodka mixer, an absolute scam. People get touched up in here all the time, just a dodgy nightclub in general don’t go there

Rochelle Neave: Really good night I enjoyed it very much first night out in years they do need to search abit more though thats all I'm saying door staff present alot around the place which was good they where polite and they stopped bad things happening before it happened like bottling they shouldn't give out glass bottles is my advice to make the place safer be careful in the rave room and don't let anyone get to close in seating areas in dark spots is my advice but I will be attending again
Klaudiusz Kowalewski (Jaskier): Have been Republic a few times and really enjoyed all of the visits. My personal favourite floor is retro but main floor has some great fire effects so would also recommend.The only bad thing I can think of is how problematic it is to get a drink. I found it quicker to go to another floor to buy drinks.
Charlotte: Bouncers don’t search or even care if your ID is yours as they didn’t even check it was me on there. Hardly any security defiantly don’t feel safe going out as someone new to the area. After the second drink my friend didn’t remember anything and that’s all they had the whole night…. SPIKED. well things like this are clearly going to happen when no one is checking bags or anything for that matter! Disgusting place should be shut down.

I had to speak to barman sent me to supervisor. Supervisor sent me to manager. It was a headache. They want helpfull at all .I wont back ever again .
Tamara B: 0 stars if I could. Staff unbearably slow! Took over an hour to be served the wrong drinks, Dec should not be working there if he can’t handle the pressure. Insanely rude and vile attitude! Would not recommend! Also beware as they will try and overcharge you over and over again. Toilets smell awful and unclean, taps didn’t work, toilets didn’t flush, hand dryer not working and holes in the wall…the list goes on despite it apparently being renovated. Wouldn’t waste your time and money…go somewhere else if you want to enjoy yourself!

If you have a work number they should use it for people to contact them for whatever reason. My partner has lost his wallet with driving license, bank card and cash along with his car keys (BMW) I have emailed them and no answer in replying! I will be taking it trading standards for further research as this is a joke!If anyone knows or sees a missing black leather wallet with a metal click button with a tsb bank card please contact me by this email I am writing this essay on or please get hold of “republic” manager...!!!!!!!

Richh: Going with a friend who was wearing cargo trousers. Denied access because men can’t wear cargo trousers as they(management) don’t think they are smart enough. Get turned away…the next people go in are wearing cargo trousers but they are women… bouncer says management allows females in with cargos but men can’t. Despite a good night inside once in (after going home to change) - this was nice and progressive by The Fan Club, not!
Mark Timson: 2 stars because it used to be good. I dunno maybe it was the time of the year and the fact it was the only club open in the area. Queuing to get into the club at 12am. Some loud mouth group of girls harrassing me and my fiance on our 11th anniversary trying to cut the Queue in -1 degree temperatures. Ok its busy its Christmas but the rude younger patrons need to learn some respect for other people. Probably won't return in hurry.
Jordan H: Went in the weekend just gone. I must say, I'm a regular patron of this establishment and the new DJs that they have in (main room and room 2) were a breath of fresh air. It's great to see a place like fanclub supporting young talent from local area.This would have been a 5 star review but room 4, had Wonderwall by Oasis playing on four different occasions.Door staff and bar staff were great. Extremely friendly and really put the cherry on the top of the cake for my night out.

J B: Armed with nothing but a kebab compass, I am drawn to this place like a moth to a flame.Not a particularly salubrious interior, but the Fan Club serves its purpose. Be prepared to shed some layers, as it can get hotter than a junky’s spoon in here. Also, no amount of glint tape can reduce how lethal those stairs are at the end of the night.If you can dodge all the forty-something’s allowed out for the night, and get to the bar, don’t expect anything special and make sure you count your change. If you get any. Drinks are functional as opposed to pleasurable.Fan Club is a bit like Radio 6 : It plays some music you recognise from your youth - and still gives you the illusion of being down with the kids.I’m sure I’ll be back soon.
Martin N: Regret stepping foot in this place after hearing about the "refurb".Bar staff didn't have a clue what they were doing, the Pepsi & lemonade was flat and drinks overpriced, and when told the bar staff just shrugged their shoulders and walked off.Never again.

I was buying tickets online ,one for my self 3 others for my ladies friends, I managed to get 3 for £11 for the ladies, looks all over the websites to see why the are not doing for gents no information.When we arrived , they told me the gents tickets have all been sild out and I should pay 20 quid for the entry I complained and told them there is no information provided on their Web site and its so unfair that I'm having to that much much when it's not my fault.Upon being searched, they asked me to remove the hat I was wearing which I did an as I was walking in another security guy said that I can't go in holding a hat and I had to pay 3 pounds to keep my hat. If this is not robbery, then what is it?The fact that they are only taking cash at the door is this not corruption?Then on top of that I tried to go to my car to pick something up, the bouncer told me if I leave, they will deny me entry, and then when i asked him why they are not doing stamps or wrist tags and the response I got was 'because I don't want 'I feel they should be reported to financial conduct authority.
