Peter MacCabe: Back in August 2012 I was in a tight spot and needed accommodation very quickly. I found out about Rentaroom-Leicester via another site and was able to move in very quickly indeed. I was a tenant for over 2 years and Rentaroom-Leicester proved to be everything they claim to be.I did have a serious issue once but it was dealt with very speedily and resolved to my complete satisfaction. My only reason for leaving was relocation to another city in the UK. Overall I would thoroughly recommend Rentaroom-Leicester. Their claims are accurate, there was no nasty rent rise for me after the inital agreement and their rent is reasonable.Provided the location is suitable they should be top of your list.

midnight_raver19: I dont even know where to start. We've been living in this property since 2010 and have been here for almost 11 years. The agency were very quick at getting us sorted and moved in of course, why wouldnt they? When we moved in, the property was ok, we had problems and tried to deal with them as best we could. The issue with the Accommodation Agency starts to show when you start to have issues in the property. Throughout my tenancy ive had numerous issues and have contacted the agency about them. They are quick to tell you on the phone that someone will be in touch but you never hear from anyone. The amount of times ive had to call them back and repeat the problems is ridiculous. Example: there was a leak in the bathroom and it took ages for someone to come out and sort it. When someone finally did, there was enough water to come through leaving brown marks on the kitchen ceiling. We were told someone would check for mould but no, the two girls that came told me they were only here to paint and just painted over the brown marks (seems to be something they do regularly based on the other reviews ive read). We tried to make sure we looked after the property as much as possible but like normal wear and tear, other problems start to show. The tap in the kitchen need tightening because it was moving around when we tried to turn it on, that took ages for someone to come and sort. As a result, the cupboard underneath had water all over the place which damaged some kitchen products. These issues weren't major enough to make us want to move, until recently. There was a glass door attached to the side of the bath which fell off into the bath as the hinge just snapped randomly, no idea why. I was more concerned at the small hole that was left in the bath. I didnt notice the hole straight away as i was filling the bath at the time. It wasnt until i drained the bath afterwards and noticed it. As you can imagine, by this time there was already enough water that leaked through to cause more brown marks on the kitchen ceiling (our kitchen ceiling has had this enough times). We also have a leak under our sink, there's water leaking in the downstairs toilet and there's a sewage smell every now and then. We had our laminate flooring relayed a while ago due to wear and tear (slats were sliding everywhere). The same is happening again with the current laminate we have but the main issue is the laminate is now warping because of the leak under the sink. We told the agency about all these issues we're having (this isnt all of them by the way or i'll be here all day) and we're still waiting for them to sort things out. We keep being told someone will be in touch but again we're chasing them. Its been almost 2 months since we've had the issue with the bath and the only thing they've done is sent someone out to fill the hole in the bath with filler, they said they'd be replacing the bath but still nothing. Luckily there's no leak in the bath anymore but there's still the leak under the sink and toilet that are quite urgent. On top of this, the staff of rude and unhelpful. My partner went through a really bad time with his anxiety at one point in his life and Graham made rude comments regularly enough about him being in bed and it made him feel uncomfortable. Just an awful agency we wont be using again. I also cant help but notice that two 5 reviews have been left by Rebecca North. She is an office manager, she shouldn't be responding to ANY reviews with a 5 start review. That's manipulating the ratings to look good on the Acommodation Agency and its disgraceful, they should be ashamed of themselves for it. Finally, they seem to keep using this excuse that they only took over the business 10 years ago on some of the reviews (I understand this will be longer now) and were blaming the previous owners for the issues. However, when a person left a 5 star review saying they'd been with the agency for 18 YEARS, they're quick to accept responsibility for that aren't they!? My advice, stay clear of this agency! And apologies for the long review!

WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH OUR BOILER AS WELL AND LEFT WITH NO HOT WATER AND HEATING  FOR 4 DAYS.THE HOUSE WAS NOT UPTO THE STANDARD FOR THERENT WE WERE PAYING.IF YOU ARE A STUDENT THEN  I WOULD SAY THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER AGENCIES YOU CAN GO WITH BUT DON’T GO WITH THEM.

Dave Selkirk: Stayed here while working at the Long Road Festival. It was a bit of a drive to get there, but if you're looking for something a bit out of the way, then this would suit you well.The place itself is lovely! It's on a farmyard, with animals around. The rooms were big and very clean. We easily fitted 8 of us in and had a great time.My reasons for 4 stars not 5 is that we were asked to strip the beds before we left, which to my mind is not something I want to do when paying to stay somewhere. I was also told off for flying my drone there. I was keeping away (well above 20 meters above) the animals but was asked in no uncertain terms to stop. It's the prerogative of the owner not to allow drones, but there was nothing in the large list of rules, and it's a lovely area, so I was keen to get some footage. Just something to bear in mind when staying (if you're into that). Otherwise a lovely stay.
