Social Climbing: what do users think?
Craig Mooney: Still awesome. Staff are great. Everyone is really friendly 👍 regular reset walls by top climbers.A great gym to progress your ability from beginner to beast 💪😂
George Bull: Great place to climb! Loads of fun, staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Setting is awesome and always something g new to climb.Only 4 start not 5 because of the opening hours. 12pm opening is far too late, I'd be there at 8am twice a week if it was open earlier!Also... Joe the manager is amazing!
yongxin wee: Friendly and helpful staff guiding you during your orientation as a first timer there. The walls are generally not very beginner friendly other than the first level ones (green stones) but I love the variety of walls to climb!
Phil Szomszor: Loved our visit here. Came with as a family of four, all looking pretty hopeless, but there was a good induction and we were made to feel very welcome. Amazing coffee too.
Cameron Higgins: Freindly staff that keep you safe while allowing you to challenge yourself.
Berty Y: Took 6yo for climbing/teaching session on Sat morning. He loved it and can’t wait to go back.Staff friendly and helpful.Could improve by getting rid of the strong feet smell :/ and more seating.
Darren Chambers: Cracking wall, lovely staff. Recommend.
Emma Johns: Took our 5 year old daughter for her first climb. We haven't climbed for a long time and it was great to start again. Our daughter loved it so hopefully it is a family event from now on. Staff were great, really friendly and professional. The safety briefing was done really well. They were very busy and just 2 of them but they managed everything and everyone really well. Thank you x
Ash M: Absolutely amazing place, all the staff and climbers are fantastic and it is such a welcoming space, it is the first climbing gym I ever went to and I've learned so much between the classes and making friends to climb with. I've never had a bad experience in the two years I've been climbing there and highly recommend it, especially to beginners wanting to learn. I also highly recommended that any women try out the Ladies night on Thursdays, the female coaches like Erin (who is amazing) and have helped me on countless projects and pushed me and encourage me to achieve far more than I thought I could (also it's just a fun supporting environment to make some new friends)
Dhyaye Patel: Fun place to clumb
Daniel Allen: Had a children's birthday party here today and the staff were absolutely amazing. The regulars were really patient with the 7-8yr olds too, the climbing community seems really welcoming to newcomers or screaming children, honestly a testament to the sport. We all had an amazing time and you all need a pat on the back, thank you very much.
Shivam Mistry: First time coming to social climbing and it was a really good experience.Started with a quick induction from the friendly instructors who explained the course and the different difficulty levels as well as some quick tips. The course has lots of different routes to climb ranging from beginner to expert ability. There are even 2 speed walls to challenge yourself. The venue is clean and very hygienic. There are changing rooms, lockers and toilets too with showers !!
Phily: Its a nice location, fairly big with average pricing for a climbing centre. They have a nice range of equipment and some great merch, and polite staff.I’ve climbed a lot of different gyms and this is the first I didn’t get on with at all, although a lot of that can be personal preference (we didn’t enjoy some of the route setting) there are a few points that may be useful for others when deciding whether to visit. The walls have been left to go shiny, and not repainted to maintain the grippy surface, this is a major one for me as my preference is on being able to smear as I’m more of a static climber. We found a lot of greasy hold, particularly foot holds which were really slippy and made routes much harder, particularly at the start of routes. The facilities were nice, modern fittings and fairly clean for afternoon on a Saturday, but toilets both had showers in, so if someone was using the shower it could mean waiting a while, but then after they left the floor was completely soaked. We are sad we didn’t like it more as its a nice space.
Harry Castle: I've been a couple of times now and both times we've had great fun because the staff have been friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean and tidy, and the tea is lovely
Chaya Mistry: Love the race buttonA bit cramped
Jaymee Toon: Such a fun and social place with people that make it enjoyable and boost your confidence
Adam Dubberley: A great afternoon out of exercise for the children in half term. Lots of different routes to try and starting at very easy for my 8 year old. The staff were helpful and friendly too.
Leohere: Very fun and enjoyable with friend and family
Harvey (Brexit): Good place to take kids. Friendly staff.
Matt Middleton: Brilliant place to visit, will definitely be returning.
Kelvin Hall: Great to hang around in and great very helpful staff

The Tower Climbing Centre: what do users think?
Rosie Rosie: Brilliant...what a fantastic experience each time...the centre keeps changing the bouldering pegs, which keeps the challenge different every 4-6 weeks...the instructors are a credit to this centre...well done ✔..
Cayman Watson: Love it
Rich H: Revisiting an old haunt, good fun, locals were still there, mostly moaning about the lack of new routes, good to catch up though.
Kerri Stevens: My son goes weekly for her Duke of Edinburgh award and the staff are friendly and helpful.
N -: Haven't used but assuming it's good
James: Excellent staff, they are very knowledgeable in their field and some of the best around. A lot to be learned from their sound advice and guidance.
Yahya Vali: Excellent session. Booked an instructor-led session. Very well run and very enjoyable. Gained far more that would have in a free climbing session. Very engaging and friendly instructor. Will certainly book again.
Caitlin smith: nice climbing place
Georgia Craig: Knowledgeable staff, good walls, amazing climbing wall
Andrew Mee: Centre Is great for what it is and the pricing is very competitive.Generally the staff are helpful and very knowledgeable, however on my last visit i was met but a staff member who was really argumentative over me being safer. As an ex-instructor (Many moons ago) The fundamentals and practices have unchanged. I'm currently in the process of teaching my 4 year old daughter to climb and to be as safe and efficient in her climbing as can be.The staff member i had the unfortunate encounter with was trying to tell me how i had my set up for climbing was unsafe and wanted me to add "more links" to set up - everyone who climbs knows the more links in the chain the weaker or more prone to failures (physical or human)Despite a lengthy discussion which involved other climbers in the centre at the time all agreeing with me the staff member had some kind of power trip.Thankfully you don't pay till you get to the walls, so if i see he's on duty i'll turn around and wait for staff that know what they are doing and want to promote a safe climbing. (wont mention some of the other horrific staff errors i've witnessed of recent)The star rating has been hindered by the staff unfortunately as the place is generally good.
Sungil Ferreira: Best top rope/lead climbing in Leicester 👊
Johno Groats: Great staff
Louise Cosby: Great climbing facilities, lovely staff!
R K: Local place for climbing walls. Situated as part of Leys leisure centre. Ensuring safety first. Coaching options available and can be arranged by phone as well.
Sarah Walters: Staff were super. Some really interesting feature walls with cracks/pockets etc.
Samwel W: Not that many problems to choose from, but what are there are good
Craig Close: The staff are really helpful, as a novice it made the experience so much better
Benjamin Le Boutillier: Good climbing
Gaston Mesias: Excellent for beginners and adept climbers alike
Miles Walker: Limited bouldering capability, staff were friendly and bigger (roped) walls looked very good however!
Pete Tunnicliffe: Good routes, friendly locals. Could do with a bit more bouldering.
