David L: JOSH & MICHAEL… wow.Incredible service from start to finish. I want to recognise Josh for his knowledge and great customer engagement. He didn’t leave my side from the moment I walked in to the moment I left, answered all my questions thoroughly and taught me a lot about various aspects of the bike that were new to me. He was brilliant.Michael also was fantastic. I had my son with me and let’s be honest kids get a bit bored after a while even in a bike shop! The wait for my bike was going to be around 1.5 hours as I had some extras that needed to be installed.. Michael got it done in less than 30 mins and explained all the SRAM etap axs group set to me in more detail as well as making sure I had downloaded the right app.Thanks again both, brilliant service and I will absolutely be back now I know how good the shop and staff are.

neil frogley: Ordered a bike for next day delivery on the 31st May, the bike didn't arrive. I complained and was then promised it would ship on the 2nd June for next day delivery, it didn't arrive. I checked the tracking on Monday the 5th June, it showed the bike as not having been collected. Rutland said the driver must have forgotten to 'scan the package'. Seven days later and the tracking showed the bike was NOT collected by TNT, however they refused to refund my £600 'as the bike might be delivered' - so I had to go through the hassle of doing a charge back with my card company to get my money back - my advice - avoid.

Matthew M: Having had a few bad experiences with bike shops I had finally found a local shop I could trust to take care of my bike bike and trust what they advised.Unfortunately, recently they closed down and I was left not knowing where to go. I called a few shops for a last minute appointment to get my gears indexed with no luck.However, Rutland cycles fosse park advised they could get me in and to turn up during opening hours and they would have a look. I dropped the bike off and went for a walk and a drink and returned an hour or so later. My bike was brought out to me and explained it needed a couple of minor tweaks and it was good to go.When I asked how much and got my card out to pay, I was advised it only took a minute and there was no charge…. There are few genuine business’s around that operate like this, however a bigger chain like Rutland really surprised me. I was treated professionally and my bike handed back fully indexed and ready to arrive. I will definitely be back in the future!

He was really helpful, nothing was too much trouble, he set the bike up for me making slight adjustments to seat position etc, as he wanted me to be comfortable with my riding position. We now have 2 CycleSkills Clubs for adults and children to get involved with on Saturdays...
Riders age 4+ can improve their cycling skills and confidence whilst having fun with their friends and family.
The club will focus on coaching riders age 4-16 to ride predominantly on grass and introduce them to the world of cyclo-cross, a fun way to get into cycle sport. Our club will also provide bike maintenance sessions for both adults and children and support any one who wishes to enter the world of cyclo-cross or those who just wish to improve their cycling skills.
We have a new venue for our Balance Buddies Clubs and Biking Buddies Courses that starts 9th January 2023... Loughborough Leisure Centre
We have launched our bike recycling scheme, aimed at supporting our local communities!
Donated bikes will be fixed up and passed onto those who need them (organised by local councils) or sold with profits going to local community projects. Bikes that are beyond repair will be used for parts on other donated bikes.
We are now registered as an inner tube recycling point to cut down on the amount of tyres and inner tubes going to landfill!
Drop off your unwanted inner tubes to our workshop and we'll send them off to be recycled into new rubber.
We have added lots of new products to our website including bundles, vouchers and other gift ideas with more still to be added! Here you can find many Raleigh bikes and accessories as well as Muc Off cleaning products and much more!
We have set up a refill station within our shop where you can refill your own bottles of various bicycle cleaning products.

Hanif Debar: The service at this store is always friendly and helpful. Have to mention both Anthony and especially Alex - I was recently looking for screws for my Shimano cleats (not easy to source genuine spare screws without buying the whole kit!) - and Evans sorted me out. Genuinely nice chaps. Cheers fellas!
Daniel Edgecombe: My friend purchased a bike from Evans in the last few weeks. He came over for a ride & to my shock his forks had been put on backwards. As a non cyclist he was none the wiser, and had wondered why his feet rubbed when turning. Terrible, dangerous service & needs to be looked into.

Steve Smith: So much better than the rest........ I rarely write reviews but felt that I just had to on this occasion. My wife and I were looking to purchase a couple of new e-Bikes on our works Cycle Scheme. Having been to probably 5 or 6 different cycle shops to check out sizes and styles, we were slowly losing the will to live!! Lack-lustre customer service and a general apathy from most of the sales staff. We then visited Evans (Haymarket) in Leicester, what a breath of fresh air......we were guided by Anthony, he immediatly prepared bikes so we could ride them around the shop, was full of useful information and advice about the correct sizing and technical specs of each bike. On our return to collect the bikes we additionally purchased mudguards/lights/bottles and a few other bits. Anthony and his colleague (apologies, I didn't get his name) fitted all of these while we waited and also made sure we got the best possible deal with our Cycle Scheme voucher. Truly amazing service, which you would assume came at an inflated price. incredibly the bikes we bought were at the best price we could find, including online sites. Many Thanks to all at Evans, especially Anthony.

Grand Jury: During a shopping trip in the city centre the tire on our baby pram popped out. We were with a baby and a toddler so this was very stressful. We went down to evans to see if anything could be done to repair the problem. The 2 lads who were working there were absolutely fantastic. They were very friendly and informative. Even though they don't deal with prams, one of the lads repaired our pram tire. Absolute legends. I can't remember their names but both lads were great. 10/10 on customer service. Once again thank you lads.
Greg: I love everything about this shop, it was previously closer to my home on Upperton Road, they have great choice of raincoats for cycling even more bikes starting from very basic options to most advanced. All sorts of accessories such as lights looks, safety equipment. But what is most important for me they have great bicycle mechanic aka "Jezus" he fixed my e-bike multiple times and he is the only person I will ever come back again for repairs. They also have decent pricing on bike parts and services. I definitely recommend.
