Can't beat it here for a full on roast 😋Parking: The carpark is tiny and never spaces for patrons but opposite is parking on the rd and it's free on Sundays for as long as you want. During the week it's limited.
Matt Reid: Brilliant Everard's community pub, a ten min walk from Leicester rail station, a range of Everard's beers, plus several guest ales on the bar, large interior is complemented by a small drinking area facing the road, and a huge beer garden out the back, not to be missed.

Andrea Brewin: The carvery has a great section but was Luke warm when we had it and also took a while to be served.Lovely place, decor is great with lots of different memorabilia.The reason for my review being only I can't give a 5* is because the food wasn't very warm and when I tried to explain to the manager or whoever it was in an email , that i had been given a parking charge for parking in the car park , they wern't interested in helping me out by getting InTouch with the company that's trying to fine me. Said it had been in place for a few years so nothing they can do. For one it's irrelevant how long it's been that way when you're a new customer and also I don't buy that that a manager could have a word and sort it out with the proof of the amount spent from my bank statement. It's a shame , I really like it here but seems they don't value their customers enough.

The Globe has been synonymous with serving dine ales and food since 1720, where quality ales were brewed using spring water drawn from its own well beneath the pub, which still exists today.
Prior to becoming a public house, the Globe had several interesting uses, including a cattle merchants and accommodation for women awaiting impending execution at the hands of the noose man in nearby Gallowtree Gate. This may go some way to explaining the reported haunting within the premises, which includes the ghost of a woman on the stairs, two disagreeing brothers that argue over the bar and a young boy in the cellar who turns off the beer!
Climate change is a real threats to all our futures, we all need to start doing things differently before it is too late. As a business we actively take steps to be more sustainable. Whilst we can’t change everything immediately, we have made a start, see below.
Reviewed our waste recycling, separating our food waste, glass and cardboard.
Switching all our Electric and Gas to a of 100% renewable energy supplier.
Began to change from gas cookers to electric induction cookers in our kitchens.
When water boilers need replacing these will become electric rather than gas.
Some of our sites even give their vegetable off-cuts away as animal feed!
Where possible, we are installing electric car charging points in our car parks. The MD now drives a fully electric car, other company vehicles are Hybrids.

Kaptain Guzzy: Cosy, oldish-looking pub. Friendly staff and relaxed, 'villagey' atmosphere in the centre of Leicester. Stone floors and lots of warm wood give it character.

Julian Worker: The best pub in Leicester in my opinion and it's also mentioned in the Lonely Planet guide to England. There were at least 10 ales on the last time I was there in March after the Fulham game and I tried two of them. I must spend longer in Leicester! The food was fine and I was happy about the prices. This pub is close to the Richard III Centre and the cathedral. The pub is now a cashless business and offer vegan pot pies.

Sarah W: As part of my hen do we did a cocktail master class at the Queen of Bradgate with Remi and Sonny. The guys were welcoming and friendly throughout, and explanations and demonstrations were perfect.We had some food allergies within the group. The area had been fully cleaned and Remi and Sonny explained any food or drink items that could be a risk had been removed - which was really reassuring!The guys also made sure the master class was inclusive for a member of the group with a visual impairment and during the competition element of the masterclass, Remi was fantastic at guiding this group member through how to make the cocktail so they were able to take part as well as the rest of us.A big thank you to Remi and Sonny! We all had a really fun time and would definitely recommend.

Guerrilla Nature: Pre-order only is rarely, if ever, ideal; fair enough for functions but not the usual approach to a standard Friday night at a pub. Soup of the day, non-specific a term as that is, surely must come with some expected rate of request to change the dish, but the request to do so was refused. As the pub was being attended for goodbye food and drinks for a colleague, the decision was accepted. However, when it was announced by the patronising staff that the business was cashless, it became much less tricky to leave without participating in the evening or feeling uncomfortable with doing so. Either sticking with the soup or only being allowed to pay electronically might have been more readily accepted, but both felt like an imposition.

Amiko Howell: Food is tasty but expensive without a discount and allergy information is not easily visible. Staff are LOVELY and would always recommend ordering from them rather than using the app as you'll just get a better experience overall.Games are fun but would be nice if they replaced the controllers on mario kart in the back booth because the drift makes it unplayable.Dietary restrictions: The staff are good at handling allergies but there is no booklet to check while ordering, as far as I know you just have to ask for each item.
