Mrs Atha's: what do users think?

Lisa Bool: Quality ingredients cooked expertly. Great coffee. Excellent service.

Mike Robinson: Great place, very chill and service is top tier. The guys are very attentive and accommodating. Space is limited but not uncomfortably so.Eggs Benedict were some of the best I've seen, and the taste was almost perfect, though I'd have preferred fried tomatoes as a topping as fresh out the fridge made the food too cold.Coffee was delicious, id asked for vanilla syrup which wasn't available, but was promised that the blend had a sweet kick to it anyway - it absolutely did g and I've never tasted coffee like it before, which was great.

byron abbott: I came in today just as the cafe was closing and they did me a long black when they didn't have to. Really top quality as well!Service: 5/5Recommended dishes Brew …

Nora R: while staying at a nearby hotel for a few days recently.Perfect latte every time! Great toasties and fresh baked goods. This place is really cosy. It has an indoor and outdoor seating.Staffs are friendly. Fully recommend!

Matt Wright: .Really friendly service too.Thank you!

Sam Tarca: . Coffees were excellent, cappuccino was perfect as was the oat latte. Pastry was fine, nothing to write home about but filled the gap. I would return as an alternative to the chains which populate the area.

Oliver Kendall: Unfortunately, there are not many local cafés that are easily accessible from Leeds city centre. However this place is definitely amongst the few that were impactful enough to be breathtakingly memorable. The food, deliciously filling! I really appreciate the thick cut of the avocado on toast, making it a great breakfast option for a price point that seemed criminally low.The coffee, a tasteful piece of art! Before drinking, I felt obligated to take a photo in an attempt to capture the local talent behind running this checkpoint hidden in the bustling city centre. The mocha was sweet, frothy and chocolatey yet remained grounded by coffee's bitter nature.Despite this café being relatively hidden, it was easily accessible from the train station with it being within a 2 minute walk from the back entrance/exit on the other side of the canal so there is no excuse to pass by this gem. Finally, the atmosphere! As well as a place to snack, cafés are also a break from the day. Whether you are visiting by yourself or with others, break off from your daily routine and spend a few minutes here. You will not regret it.Vegetarian options: Many food options are vegetarian by default unless you are intentionally ordering anywith with meat. It is vegetarian first, with an option for meat if you want it.

David Petronzio: Perfect chunky toast, and great coffee. What a lovely find. Much better than breakfast in the hotel.Recommended dishes …

Henry Greeff: Always a friendly place for a coffee or a light meal.Recommended dishes …

Opposite Cafe Chapel Allerton: what do users think?

Zacharia Lewis: Proud to call this place my local! How people could go to the Starbucks next door is completely beyond me.Service - Every single time I come in I am greeted so nicely by the ever pleasant staff, always courteous and always welcoming.Atmosphere - Lovely local feel, a little gentrification nation sometimes but it's independent coffee shop in Chapel Allerton so it's to be expected.Food and drink - I've never been disappointed by a drink i've had from here. Of course the sandwiches and pastries are quite pricey, but again. You're paying the Chapel Allerton tax on top of the Independent coffee shop tax so I don't mind and they're always delicious!Standouts;Matcha Latte - Yes im basic, yes im white but having had many a Matcha Latte in my time I can safely say this is the best in Leeds.Chai Latte - Aforementioned basic whiteness aside, this Chai Latte is truly so luxurious, so aromatic, so flavourful. I wish I could have this before bed every single night.
