Hashi Cooking: what do users think?

Janice Nam: What a wonderful way to spend 4 hours on a Saturday. If you are beginner then this is the perfect class for you. Ingredients used was very good and there were opportunities for the students to take part in things like preparing the sushi rice and slicing the sashimi.I bought this gift as a present for my partner and we both thoroughly enjoy the experience and went home with her beautiful red hardcover book "Hashi: A Japanese Cookery Course". It was a pleasure being taught by Reiko and both my partner and I really enjoying eating the delicious lunch with her and all the students at the end of it. Thank you.

Nina Atwal: This course is excellent full stop. Highly recommend.

Victoria Koo: Brilliant and enjoyable experience. Had such a wonderful time learning and meeting Reiko and of course eating the most beautiful and delicious sushi.

Eleanor van Heyningen: I had a really enjoyable evening with Reiko at Hashi Cooking learning and practising making ramen and gyoza. It was delicious but also fun and relaxed and I learnt a lot which I am looking forward to trying out at home.

She is highly skilled and amazing at what she does ! This is a very high end course and well worth every Penny ! I would highly recommend it to anyone contemplating doing it !

Ciara McCullough: Fantastic experience at Reiko’s home making gyozas and the GREATEST ramen I’ve ever tasted- days later and I am still thinking about the pork and broth.Reiko was very friendly, knowledgable and made everyone feel relaxed.I can’t recommend this experience enough.

Yun Xin Tan: Lovely afternoon spent with Chef Reiko! I got to witness the filleting of a fresh salmon, and everything throughout the process was well explained. Reiko is a wonderful teacher, taking the time to answer all our questions and help us with each step in the process. The quality of the produce she used was exceptionally high too. Loved it!

Pilar Rivett: My husband and I took the sushi making course at Hashi and really enjoyed it. Reiko made it fun and shared her passion for and knowledge of Japanese cuisine in a wonderful way. Although sushi is demanding, we now have the confidence to take it up at home. Thank you Reiko!

Ben Pavesi (ZioSGTV): Incredible Sushi cookery class. Reiko is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly from start to finish and is more than happy to answer any questions as well as offer her advice using the experience she has. She took time to explain everything from the preparation of the rice to the fish as well as the additional dishes and flavours you can combine. We got to enjoy a number of dishes and then enjoy sitting down as a group at the end to enjoy our creation as well as having plenty to take home.

Juliet Ingram: A really relaxing and fun class, like going over to a friend's house to make dinner. The vegetarian/vegan ramen and gyoza recipes Reiko has come up with are wonderfully flavoursome and easy to make, and I left with the confidence to try everything again at home.

Yuki's Kitchen: what do users think?

Cathal Ward: Had such a great experience and would definitely recommend. Yuki was very welcoming from the offset.

Samuel Bourne Orme: We had a lovely time a Yuki’s class. She created a very welcoming environment and the class was great fun. I would definitely return for more classes.

Nigel: I've done two classes with Yuki so far. Both dishes turned out really well and I learned a lot in each class. It was fun too! Highly recommended.

Liah Zusman: Such a fun wholesome class, I went solo some people were solo some pairs but we had such a good time making miso, having tasty food and trying all different fermentations! 10/10 Yuki was lovely

Hannah R: The perfect sushi making class in London!! I'm so glad I booked a class with Yuki. She was so knowledgable and helpful and made it entertaining all the while. We ended up making so many different sushi rolls and were so full by the end. Definitely get what you pay for, would highly recommend!

Hilary Pitts: We attended Yuki’s Okonomiyaki online course yesterday evening. It was fantastic. Yuki’s instructions were really clear and she made the session fun and inclusive. The dish turned out really well and was delicious . I can see us making the dish again and again. I would highly recommend Yuki’s courses. We’ll be booking another course soon and I’m also going to buy gift vouchers so my friends can book courses also.

Laura: I did Yuki's online katsu curry class. I've done a number of her classes before which have all been excellent and everything has always been delicious so I don't know why I was surprised about just how delicious the finished product of this class was! It's so much more enjoyable and interesting doing these classes than cooking from a recipe book, and you certainly learn nuances to cooking these Japanese dishes that you wouldn't get otherwise.

Felicity Holmes: I had a wonderful time at Yuki’s vegetarian gyoza and ramen class. She is so knowledgeable and warm. The food was delicious and have I since recreated it at home, much to my family’s delight. Highly recommend the classes with a friend, as a gift or on your own!

Bella Bowker: I took part in the ramen making class at Yuki’s kitchen and I could not recommend it more highly. It was the perfect intro into the art of ramen making - we went through three different styles of ramen, but also were shown how to batch make for speedy ramen whenever you fancy, which I found super useful. Yuki’s customer service is also absolutely fab - she’s been on hand to help via email if needed - and she’s a truly knowledgable and kind teacher.Thank you Yuki - sushi making next!

Ava Bajpai: We had such an amazing time with Yuki.We booked her class because my dad is an intermediate chef and she offered a custom class that allowed us to all learn and have fun together. We won't ever forget the class and we made such delicious healthy food, it was surprising how little salt oil etc was involved!Yuki had a wealth of knowledge about the ingredients and the science behind them. It was easy to follow and I'm looking forward to doing more classes online and trying the recipes myself at home!

Alexey Subach: A great experience - the chef is a very friendly person, making the atmosphere relaxed yet educational and tasty. I personally did not learn way lot during the gourmet sushi and sashimi master class but there were a few things I knew about and was budget to start doing at home. All the cooking process was transparent and the chef did not try to hide any secrets. The quality of products and fish was great. I also appreciated that aside from the masterclass it was a great culinary experience and we had a lot of tasty food to try. I definitely recommend this school to sushi lovers, especially if you haven’t booked sushi at home yet

Roberta Franchi: I did the Japanese home cooking course with my boyfriend and we both absolutely adored it!!! Yuki is energetic, positive and very knowledgeable. It was so interesting to learn all the aspects of japanese cuisine and cook delicious recipes! What an amazing evening!

Sarah Penhall: Had a great time, learnt so much! Definitely recommend

Sarah T: We really enjoyed our class with Yuki, learning basic principles of Japanese cooking, adapting for other recipes and choosing the best ingredients. She managed to answer our multitude of questions as well as demonstrate, oversee our efforts and produce a delicious meal for us as if we were friends round for supper!

Michelle Downes: a cooking class with Yuki for her Xmas present and wow what an amazing experience she had. Would absolutely recommend to adults and kids wanting to learn Japanese cuisine Yuki is lovely and a fantastic teacher thank you so much xx

Susannah: I took part in Yuki's 'Sushi at Home' class and thoroughly enjoyed it! She made it fun, breaking everything down into simple steps. The pace was good - it was quite swift but Yuki always went back to recap and made sure everyone was still on track. This meant we were able to make quite a few things in the time allocated. I'd highly recommend this class, and hope to be able to do another one myself in the future. Thank you Yuki!

Joe Kallarackal: We attended the 3 Flavours Ramen class and it was a great demonstration class. Full of useful tips and tricks, including what brands to buy, from where, and how to prep ramens in advance. We didn't realise we'd get 3 portions of ramen in the class so left stuffed. Yuki has a very welcoming and fun energy which made the class fly by.

Aidan Akira Moss: Really enjoyable in person class, personal and cosy atmosphere, delicious food made accessible.

Alice Lecointe: Yuki is an absolutely wonderful chef and teacher, she helped us create a bespoke workshop to immerse our team for a client at work, we learnt a huge amount and had a fantastic time. Yuki hosts you at her house, which feels very intimate and special. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about Japanese cuisine.

Simona Barbieri: One of the BEST family days we have EVER had! Yuki's a delightful chef, teacher, host. We learnt delicious recipes, it was all so clearly explained and laid out for us... but most of all we learnt about nutrition, our health and so many new ideas. Kids were INSPIRED by her knowledge and the magic of Japanese culture. I couldn't possibly recommend her enough. A day we will never ever forget!!

itsu - Kingston: what do users think?

Lou: Olga was so helpful. I was struggling to choose from the many vegan options and she was so helpful and friendly. The food was very fresh and extremely tasty. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Nice booths. Most of all the staff were very polite and customer focused.Vegetarian options: Great to see new vegan options.

Slim B: I just had a delightful lunch at Itsu in Kingston - it’s a perfect spot for a quick bite. The setup is super efficient: grab what you like from the fridge, order hot dishes on the screen, pay, and you’re all set. It’s a popular place, so finding a seat can be a bit of a scramble around lunchtime, and you might end up sharing a table. But it’s worth it for their awesome sushi deals. Great for a speedy yet satisfying meal!
