Isle of Skating: what do users think?

Mauva Johnson-Jones: Truly helped with my balancing techniques.

Nihal Patel: The skate coaches were super friendly, approachable and encouraging over the 6 week course! I'm so impressed with the level of skill they displayed, but more importantly, how each of them was able to translate these skills to a beginner jam skater like myself. Great community feel with no judgement or pressure!

Aaron Lovell: Just completed a 6 week course in Barnet/Hendon, had a great time surrounded by good people, our instructor Kareemah did a fantastic job of ensuring everyone received the benefit of her experience, the group had very mixed skill levels and Kareemah did a great job of adapting her coaching from one person to the next in the hour sessions. The course was great value for money and if you run some more of your courses in Barnet/Hendon and I will gladly sign up.

Carol Higgins: I've completed 2 courses with Isle of Skating and signed up for a 3rd course. The courses are fantastic, and just the right pace of learning for each level. I've had so much fun, my confidence has grown, I've made new friends and I just wish I'd joined sooner!

Smara Badea: Such a fun experience! I signed up for the Fundamentals of Dance Skating and attended every lesson. I've learned so much and feel so much more confident on my skates, picked up some moves along the way that I will keep working on. The instructors were great and really encouraged us to build a community with our class. I'd definitely recommend signing up for a class or a course if you want a bit of guidance on your skate journey, as well as just to meet people that skate this interest. Our course was at Roller Nation in Bruce Grove, and the venue was lovely 😍

Flavia Cerrone: I have done 3 courses with Isle of Skating, all with Jahmel cause she is a great teacher, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Isle of skating have a great customer service ethic and if something doesn't go as smoothly as it usually does, they make it up to you and quickly. Would highly recommend, I'm having lots of fun!

Dilshini Sandhu: and was given some 1-2-1 guidance from Amir to help get me on my feet

Angele Tilly: I highly recommend Isle of Skating if you are looking to start skating from scratch. They are great at helping you build confidence and go at your own pace. I had a lovely time!

Zanna Woodgate: Love these courses so much. Got me moving, confident, dancing and made sure I love my new hobby! Really inclusive also, no one is too old to start skating!

Aruna Pahwa: Completed level 1 and 2 at Newham. Lolli was a great teacher, took the time to explain every move and gave personalised feedback to help you improve. Thanks Lolli! 😘

L B: Really welcoming and friendly teachers, good with the kids. Mine has done 3 courses and skates confidently.

Toon Van Bogaert: Love the course, easy to start. Good locaties. Teacher was super encouraging.

G in The Skinning Room: Such a great course, I learnt loads and our coach Lolli was excellent, good fun and made us all feel really comfortable!

ana campos: So much fun, great teachers and community

M. H.: was great. I also took the Ultimate Beginners course with him and I feel more confident after those 12 weeks. Between classes, we had something to practice, some kind of direction and it really help in my journey. Every week, we learnt something new. He also treated us as equal which I really appreciated

Oyinda Adeyemi: Amazing! Having access to the courses has really helped my skate journey. I highly recommend! I couldn’t even stand properly on skates now I can skate up and down a sports hall alone. I’d definitely recommend for any stage you’re at. Lovely instructors too. Well done IOS for providing this space for people like me who know nothing about skating before coming to you.

Daisy Abbott: A great place to learn to skate! I’ve completed level 1 and 2 and loved them both!

Lala O: Learned techniques I would've felt too unqualified and frankly scared to try on my own. Definitely ended the course more comfortable on skates and confident!

Aliye K: Excellent course, with brilliant coach! Will skate again. Highly recommend.

Cpenfold#: All God just lost my bag well left it there by accident

Tom Kennedy: Friendly and welcoming to kids of all ages, a great local resource.

ALJ Yo: . They also have a basketball net to play half court also there is a shop area where you can always buy snacks and drinks. There are also Parties that you can book and Lessons for different sports. For the locals, you can be offered to go on skate trips and events. For example, there is a skate jam every year and you can get good prizes! That’s why it deserves a 5 star rating.

Kickflops: The best free skatepark in Europe and staff. Trust

Neil Kidd: Really cool location

Isla Welgemoed (system): Amazing

Stephen Leonard: It's quite a big place and you can hire skateboards for free at the shop. It's quite a relaxed vibe but can be quite busy.

Mattias Bertilson: Wonderful place to come after school or weekend for my 6 year old. They have free hire of skateboards, bikes and scooters. Free to use ping pong table, chess board, basketball hoops and even toilets and a small cafe. It’s everything you could need to keep the kids occupied with play for a few hours! Recommended for all parent with young kids or teenagers alike.

Nadine Edwards: Really fun place to be. Kids really enjoyed it.

Charles Jackson: This skate park is community driven and it's shows. Children and teens are comfortable to enjoy life like a child should. Definitely a great place to visit and get a little bit of board time in. Sk8.

Craig Dennis: Really impressed with the Park, brought my niece who was really nervous about going as she has never tried skating before but the staff there could not have been more accommodating. You can rent equipment and boards for FREE if you don't have your own and they said they run a girls only skate club which we'll definitely be going back to try! They have a tuck shop for a coffee or cold drink for the adults too.

Mark Dragoumis: Amazing staff and community. Creative skatepark. Built very well.

Tim Baker: which could have been beautiful if planned but kinda looked a bit messy. Not the biggest rink and lots of families with young kids when we went so lots of penguins on the ice too.*Suggestion* Not sure of the logistics, but would be amazing to have a circular rink on the "turning circle" directly outside the entrance, skating with the entrance archway so close would be awesome.
