Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre: what do users think?

Daria Krynytsyna: Very cozy and nice yoga studio, amazing teachers. So happy every time after class

Monica Rejas: I joined the cooking workshop today. We were a small group of people and our teacher was knowledgeable, friendly and versatile in the preparation of a number of healthy and delicious meals. Looking forward to put the recipes into practice. Thank you!

Paola Brunetti: I did the Yoga Teacher Training at the Sivananda Centre over 10 years ago and attended many classes and Fridays eve Pujas and meditation and always had beautiful, enriching and inspiring experiences every time. A truly gem and a peaceful environment in the chaos of urban life.

pembe wright: I love this centre it teaches authentic traditional yoga and offers workshops, residential retreats and cooking workshops. It is a real escape from the busy hectic city life that causes so much stress. A perfect place to reset and rebalance.

Rachel Usher: A beautiful place to practise yoga with dedicated, knowledgeable and inspiring teachers. Rooms are spacious and clean. Classes are 90 minutes and include breathing exercises, asanas and relaxation. The centre also offers workshops, cooking classes and retreats. There are classes every day and all levels are welcomed. There is a lovely feel to the centre. I always leave feeling recharged and calm. Highly recommend.

Clara González de Lara: Visiting London for a short stay, I was delighted to find a Sivananda center to practice Yoga during my vacation. The place is welcoming and very relaxing. The staff who work there are lovely. Finally, the classes are of high quality which is very difficult to find today, as Yoga is so overused in the West. The traditional Hindu side, particularly through the songs, has its charm and allows a real yogic immersion in the heart of London, what luck! Finally, a little extra, and not least, the cuisine is delicious. Thanks again !

P B: New to London, I've been going to this centre for a few months now, and it's been a great discovery! One thing you should know before going: the teaching is very traditional. There are also workshops, courses and vegetarian cooking classes.I think the courses are of a very high quality, with experienced teachers, and the place is magnificent, with a charming little garden where you can drink herbal tea.I find the atmosphere in this yoga centre really unique.

oleva wing: An extraordinary class runs online on Tuesday evenings, taught by Swami Sivadasananda. This is yoga taught by somebody who has spent his life devoted to it. It is a very different experience from ordinary classes.

venkatesh suriyanarayanan: Extremely serene and well maintained centre. Gave a sense of calmness and peace. Found Kailashji to be very humble and helpful. Please continue your good work.

Orenda Pro: Positive:Professionalism

BoCo Yoga & Pilates: what do users think?

CIGDEM OZAN: I have been practicing yoga with Louise on Monday evenings for some time now and I can’t recommend it enough. The moment you step through the doors, you are greeted with warmth and positivity that sets the tone for your practice. It is a place where I can escape the chaos of daily life and reconnect with myself on a deeper level. I would highly recommend it.

Judith Murrell: I have been enjoying BoCo's yoga classes on and off for the last few months and every time they have been enjoyable, calming and challenging. Maya, Elizaine and Aude are all wonderful, knowledgeable and supportive teachers and, as others have said previously, the BoCo team is always ready to welcome you with a friendly smile and chat. Every class I have attended is different and each time I feel I progress a little more and enjoy the many benefits yoga brings. A little piece of calm in an otherwise busy and frantic world!

Hope Ritchie: and breathing exercises to more general strengthening and mobility, the classes have helped me feel amazing throughout the second half of pregnancy and I would highly recommend attending them. I always come out of a class feeling better and have been particularly struggling with back pain recently which has been very much helped by going to these classes! Thanks BoCo!

Nicole C: I’ve been attending the Tuesday evening Pilates class for a number of years now and can’t recommend it highly enough. The teachers are incredibly experienced and ensure a balance of challenging and developing whilst allowing you to work at your own pace or level. As a studio, BoCo is friendly, welcoming and nurturing. There is a wide range of yoga and pilates classes with very flexible membership options - I just wish I had time to try other classes!

daniela gonzalez: I had such a lovely experience at this studio. It was my first Yoga class ever and the instructor really supported and helped me with every position. Attending their beginners course and I could follow the exercises and it really helped relax. Highly recommend

Paul Simons: This review, like my recent non-attendance to the studio, is long overdue. I went to my first ever yoga class here in 2015, just before I turned 40. Maya, Karin , Natasha and the rest of the team are just wonderful people; who not only provide great instruction in class but offered kindness , help and support and wisdom during some really difficult personal challenges. Thank you and I will be there again soon, Maya. I promise!

Melisa Altay: Best yoga studio I have been to in the world! The teachers are nurturing and knowledgable. Maya and her team are yoga experts who not only share the yogic philosophies they teach, but an example of self work and practice. Many yoga studios are renowned around the world, but BoCo Yoga & Pilates is truly the most humble and professional studio I have ever been to. The yoga classes are educational and the teachers know how to teach beginners, without risk of injury, how to move their body in a healthy, mindful way. They can teach and guide a yogi with an intermediate practice or a strong asana practice too. This studio is all you need for your exploration of self, through yoga, pilates, massage, acupuncture, talking therapies and or any other holistic treatment they provide. Thank you for being a staple representation of yoga in the western world BoCo.

Wendy Doblo: I attended pre natal yoga with Sylvia as the teacher from 18 weeks of my pregnancy . I throughly enjoyed the classes and would recommend to anyone who is pregnant and enjoys yoga. Sylvia and Maya are fabulous teachers with a lovely calm manner.I’ll definitely be joining the post natal yoga classes once given the all clear.

Cat Bowie: I have a 3 day old daughter and started attending pre-natal yoga and pilates at BoCo from 14 weeks pregnant until birth. It’s been such a positive experience that I can’t recommend it enough.Located in Surbiton the studio is clean, well organised and calming. Classes use a variety of equipment and, due to their small size, are individually tailored to physical needs at that point of pregnancy. For example, I was given individual support when I started experiencing sciatica pains.Class content focuses on physical and mental well-being, which I used throughout my pregnancy journey. The whole team are friendly, approachable and flexible and class times fit well around work and family commitments.I used breathing techniques and several exercises during labour itself. Post birth my body is less damaged, recovering better and the midwife commented on my fitness levels.Every pregnant person in the area should take this class!

Anne-Marie McGarry: I can’t overstate how much I’ve loved attending classes at Boco. I started regularly attending pregnancy yoga and Pilates classes via zoom over lockdown. It’s a testament to the teachers how much I enjoyed these classes given the circumstances. I’ve now been attending classes in studio for the past few months and it’s always a pleasure. The studio is so welcoming. Maya and all of the teachers are so passionate about their classes you always leave feeling great.

Andrew Ward: Have been going to BoCo for over 10-years, and it's definitely played a major part in ending my back pain, and I feel so much more flexible now. Excellent classes in-person and online.

Charlotte Taverner: Love attending classes at BoCo: the instructors are wonderful, really knowledgeable and have great professional manner as well as being fun. The small intimate studio is a real treat and so easy to focus in. Booking couldn't be simpler, a quick email and one can book on for as many or as few classes as you like. I have been attending pregnancy Pilates for 4 months now and am hooked.

Sarah Ashe: I've recently moved to Surbiton and become a member of BoCo. I am pregnant and really love the beautiful pregnancy yoga that the studio offers. The teachers are very kind and caring and the studio has a lovely community feel.

Katy R: .I'd highly recommend to anybody who is beginner or experienced and looking for a friendly club to join.

YogaHub: what do users think?

R H: as well as the Yoga to keep me strong and pain-free. Highly recommend.

Maegan Leoni: But the teachers are incredible! Jess, El, Eva & Sina have never not given a class that wasn't as good as yoga gets. They are so welcoming, knowledgeable and creative. I don't know how they do it but in the 3 times a week I go, for over a year, I've never seen them repeat a flow. So creative! All classes I've been to have been accessable to all levels which make them so inclusive. I couldn't recommend Yoga Hub more!

Krista Joy Montgomery: Wonderful teachers, clean and well run. A great community place to do yoga. Caring and friendly. Only down point is you will need to bring your own little towel and cleaning spray if you want to clean your mat afterwards.

Lucia Hargasova: By far the best studio in the area. I missed vinyasa classes after I moved from Switzerland as London seem to have so much power yoga or hot classes. Also this studio is bright and beautiful and not tiny as many. The team is super friendly and various teachers to fit literally all levels. I love it.

Mischa Rudling: I absolutely love YogaHub, the community is amazing and so are all the teachers. Great classes for all skill levels.

Lorenzo Giucca: Great yoga studio, with professional instructors, specialised kit, and two large, clean, and socially distanced practice rooms.

Sandra Quaglia: this one is the best by far!

Jen Grimble: ! I can't recommend Yogahub enough - if you're an absolute beginner or someone with a well honed practice, you'll find classes you'll love.

SP: Great and welcoming place. Great practice and teachers. Hardly suggest!

Fiona Maher: Gorgeous space, amazing teachers, great variety of classes and the loveliest and most supportive team, I love it here!

Denise Reid-Bashir: Fantastic studio, great teachers, inclusive environment and Lara, who owns the studio, always goes the extra mile. Thoroughly recommend.

Ned Kelly: I love this place! Friendly relaxed vibe, great teachers, loads of classes and a good mix of people. I only started yoga a few months ago and YogaHub has got me hooked.

jane Kelly: I have tried yoga a couple of times before and just didn’t get it - since joining Yogahub I totally get it and am loving it. The general ambience and community is great but above all the passion that the teachers bring to the studio makes this a very special place. I have tried lots of classes often my choices dictated by my work/life balance and have found every teacher brings their own unique style of teaching which I enjoy. I am also a huge fan of the hub fit classes - it gives me my circuits buzz each week!

Claudia Alexandra Moretti: Yogahub embodies the true essence of yoga synergistically combining breath, movement and meditation. This studio is a treasure trove of dedicated teachers, each with their own unique approach so each class is fresh. Totally recommend it!

Jessie Spring-Peers: YogaHub is the best yoga centre I have ever practiced in. Lara and her team of amazing teachers have made a studio that feels like a little community. There are classes for everyone and everyone is made to feel very welcome.
